Celosia Chiang Mai Hotel

El mejor hotel de Tailandia. Fue increíble. Aparte de ser muy bonito, tanto por fuera como por dentro en las habitaciones, fue super cómodo y limpio. Nos enamoramos de Celosía.

No hubo nada que no me gustara.

La habitación aunque práctica me parecio súper pequeña, me sentí en Japón supongo por pagar una economica pero bien.

我在 Celosia 住了三晚，选择的是A楼带阳台的双人房。酒店环境比较安静，每天在清迈步行游览之后，晚上回来可以好好休息。工作人员友善，入住、沟通和服务过程都很顺利，让人感觉轻松，没有不必要的麻烦。 以我预订时三晚六百多元的价格来说，整体性价比不错。它不是那种强调豪华感的酒店，但住宿氛围安静、服务友好，能够满足旅行中舒适休息的需要，是一次令人满意的入住体验。 I stayed at Celosia for three nights in a double room with a balcony in Building A. The hotel had a peaceful atmosphere, which made it a comfortable place to return to after spending the day walking around Chiang Mai. The staff were friendly, and check-in, communication and service all went smoothly. Considering the rate I booked, it offered good value for money. It is not a luxury-focused hotel, but it provides a quiet environment, helpful service and a comfortable place to rest. Overall, I had a pleasant and relaxing stay.

Loved the location. Ask to stay in Building C when you go. They have free washing machine for residents. And a kitchen for the building where you can microwave food and use dishes. Such a calming and relaxed stay here. The staff booked a couple of tours for me which was pretty time saving for me. Great customer service.

The staff and the building

Die Zimmer waren sehr simpel ausgestattet, ohne Deko, trotzdem hat nichts gefehlt. Der Pool war schön lang, so dass man auch Bahnen schwimmen konnte.

Die Handtücher waren schon etwas älter. Es war extrem hellhörig und das Hotelpersonal war schon früh morgens unterwegs. In die Zimmer kommt man über die Terassentür herein, so dass man zwischen unseren beiden Zimmern keine direkte Verbindung hatte.

L’hôtel a un très bon rapport qualité / prix. Le personnel est très gentil et serviable. L’emplacement est pratique. La piscine est agréable.

Posizione, pulizia, staff, piscina, colazione semplice e buona a 100 THB. Spettacolare letto e materasso. La cittadella si raggiunge in mezz’ora a piedi. Altre zone carine con l’efficiente Grab a pochi euro. La piscina è fantastica. È in una posizione molto tranquilla e silenziosa ma con 7-eleven e ristoranti raggiungibili in 3 minuti a piedi.

Habitaciones amplias y cómodas. Es cierto que algunos colchones pueden ser más duros de los deseado. La piscina está limpia y el desayuno es de pago. La ubicación: aunque no está en el centro histórico se puede pasear y llegar en unos 20 minutos. En la zona del hotel hay cosas interesantes y oferta de restaurantes bastante cerca. La amabilidad de los recepcionistas también ha sido destacada.

Zeer mooi hotel, verzorgde familiekamer, ruim, mooi zwembad waar ook extra handdoeken lagen. Vriendelijk top personeel. Op wandelafstand van de leuke uitgaansbuurt waar toffe foodmarktjes liggen. Gewoon een top adres.

Er viel gewoon niks tegen

Hay diferentes edificios, depende de cual te hospedes las habitaciones son mejores o peores.

The people at reception were spectacular. They answered my questions clearly: which way to 7-eleven, how do I move 4 pieces of luggage to a condo, where has the best exchange rate, etc. All answered (and many mire) with accuracy and a smile.

There is a partial divide between shower and remainder of bathroom. Bathroom floor always gets wet.

Nice pool and great location staff were very nice.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Barely slept as they were rock solid.

Heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel, heel erg proper, veel faciliteiten (bv gratis handdoeken voor het zwembad, paraplu’s, wasmogelijkheden,..). Over het algemeen krijg je veel en een goede service voor dit geld.

Op zich was er niets dat ons niet beviel. De ligging is wat verder van de oude stad maar dat is wat je voorkeur geniet. Wij hadden achteraf bekeken iets liever bij de oude stad gezeten.

Hôtel idéalement situé : marche, night bazar Market, salon de massage… et au calme. Le personnel est super gentil et très accueillant. L établissement très propre et pratique : machine à laver, petit salon extérieur, piscine … Superbe expérience! On recommande vivement

Lo staff, in particolare quello della reception, è stato molto cordiale. La struttura è moderna e molto molto pulita, con una piscina piuttosto grande.

The rooms in block B are very small and there is no balcony. The swimming pool is small and so is the sunbathing area around it, also looks like a back packers place. Certainly not an 8.8

La piscine était très propre et grande, la chambre était super et nettoyée tout les jours si nous le voulions 😊 la situation est idéale, près des marchés et des restaurants 😊 le personnel est super gentil, le jour de notre départ ils ont gardés nos gros sacs pour qu’on puisse profiter de la journée pour se balader dans chiang mai et nous avons pu encore profiter de la piscine, ils ont été vraiment super bienveillant, nous sommes restés tout les jours dans cet hôtel le temps de notre visite à chiang mai 😊 Merci pour votre accueil 😊🙏🙏🙏

Es war super mit dem Pool. Zimmer neu, sauber, moderner Bad-/WC-Bereich, gut funktionierende Klimaanlage, angenehme Atmosphäre, sehr freundliches Personal, ruhig gelegen, trotzdem viel Angebot drum herum und nicht allzu weit in die Innenstadt. Es ist kein Luxushotel, aber man hat alles, was man braucht (und sogar noch ein bisschen mehr). Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Einzig das Frühstück könnte etwas abwechslungsreicher sein…

The room was very clean and fresh water was provided every day. The free washing machines were really great to have and there is plenty of room to dry clothes in the sunshine. There is also free coffee provided in the morning. The staff were so helpful and very nice!

This place -- aside from having clean rooms, genuinely nice staff, and being affordable -- had something extra to it that I can't place. I hope to return at some point.

There is a big cockroach in the bathroom, so scary. The hotel is located in an alley which is so small, it's quite hard to park a car and there are only 4 car spots. There are no elevators, only a stair.

Very pleasant stay with comfortable beds. Nice swimming pool, plus a washing machine and a large space to dry clothes. There is a 7-Eleven around the corner, and it’s about a 20-minute walk to the Old Town. Plenty of great places nearby for food, massages, and the night market and boxing stadium is within a 10-minute walk. The staff were extremely friendly.

Quiet, comfortable, simple living. Everything you need at a great price. Glass bottled water delivered to your door daily. Good value breakfast every morning by the pool. Free use of coffee machine (made great coffee). Free use of washing machine. Easy walking distance to Night Bizarre & restaurants. Rooms had great lighting options.

The shower had extremely low pressure, and the shower head wouldn't stay up. The beds were a bit too firm for me. Air con goes off when you leave the room (with your key) so you come back to a hot room - but I understand why they do this and it doesn't take too long for the room to cool down again

Amazing hotel — I’d highly recommend it. I stayed here twice during my 3-week visit to Chiang Mai and loved it each time. The staff are incredibly friendly, the pool area is relaxed and peaceful, and the rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. I’d definitely stay here again.

Honestly, I was surprised the rating on Booking isn’t even higher, because for the price you pay, this is easily one of the best value-for-money options. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, with a relaxed, easy-going vibe. Everything feels very comfortable and unpretentious. The hotel is exceptionally clean — both the public areas and the rooms are very well maintained. My room looked completely new, as if it had been recently refurbished. One detail I really appreciated was the curtains — they are excellent and allow you to fully darken the room, which is perfect if you like to sleep in. The bathroom also felt brand new, and the water pressure in the shower was great. There’s a fridge in the room, and you get two bottles of water every day. I especially liked that the bottles are glass and part of a refill system rather than plastic — a small but very important and commendable detail, especially in a place where plastic waste can be an issue. I was a bit concerned after reading some reviews suggesting this might be a party place, but my experience was the complete opposite. I stayed in March, and by around 10 PM it was actually very quiet — noise was not an issue at all. It’s true that there are not many sunbeds (around eight, if I remember correctly), but during my five-night stay in March (low season), this was never a problem — there was always at least one available. The location worked great for me, but I would definitely recommend renting a scooter. The Old Town is about five minutes away by scooter, and while there are a few food options within walking distance, they are somewhat limited. For this price, I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation.

Of course, you can always find something you might not like, but it’s important to keep in mind the price you’re paying — these are really just minor details. I would have preferred a bit more privacy on the terrace. However, since I chose a ground-floor room right next to the pool, it’s understandable that you can’t really have both. Smoking is not allowed, even on the “private” terrace. There are two chairs and a table available outside the hotel, although it’s located in a parking area without shade. So it’s not really a place where you can relax for a longer time.

The staff is really friendly and welcoming, coffee/tea supplies and water always available outside rooms, pool area is beautiful, rooms are nice and the whole complex is modern. It's a quiet area but still really close to (night) markets (10min walk), muay thai fights stadium and old town- you just have to cross the river. Good price!

The bed is hard and you don't have much privacy in bathroom, it's a bit awkwardly built in the room. Apart from that nothing major wrong or bad. Would definitely recommend!

Bathroom was so tiny it was quite difficult to manage. Tiny ants a lot in the room.

It’s located near the Ping River close to the night market. The hotel room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool was nice and clean as well. You can wash your clothes for free. Good wifi.

A walk to the city wall is about 20 minutes. On the other hand, there is enough to see and do close to the hotel. Good restaurant options nearby.

Dunne versleten handdoeken in de badkamer, enkel douche gel en shampoo voorzien Nogal pover, bijkomend te betalen, ontbijt à la carte. Lawaai vanuit het zwembad goed hoorbaar in de kamers. Slechte prijs/kwaliteit verhouding in vergelijking met de 15 andere hotels die we aandeden in Thailand.

Close to downtown

Noisy rooms when people came back late. The staff keep turning off the a/c and room fridges, made it impossible to keep drinks cold.

The stuff were very kind and helpful. They even had a scooter rental service. The scooter was well maintained and got delivered to the hotel.

A wardrobe would be nice in all kind of room, because we had to keep our clothes on the floor. It was not so annoying, hence we chose the room.
