Han Huyen Homestay

The building is nice and on a quiet street, but still very close to the busy tourist area. Probably the best location you could be for a combination of quiet and accessibility. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was very friendly and attentive. Such a great value for the money!

This is subjective because we all have different preferences, but the bed was very, very firm. If that’s what you like, great. It was harder than we like, but that’s the only thing that was a negative for us.

Lovely friendly staff. The free use of a bicycle was a boon.

What can I say this was that special find on my travels, from the minute I walked through the door I was made to feel at home, the family business is so well run, it’s the sort of place you want to keep to yourself, I definitely will return to this place.

Han Huyen is very well located for the night market and Hoi An old town. There are also plenty of food outlets in the area. Despite this, it is surprisingly quiet for a good night’s sleep. I like the fact that the shower cubicle has a proper door which means the bathroom floor is not wet. Hiep, the owner, also helped me book the transport to and from Da Nang at a reasonable price.

Homely, intimate, very friendly family run business, great value for money, close enough to the old town where all the noise and action is, yet far enough to be quiet. Of all the places I have stayed in so far in VN, this place has a proper shower with a well thought of shower door so the entire bathroom doesn’t get wet 👍 Many more upmarket/ mire expensive places can learn from this. If there was a rootop terrace, this place would be perfect. I can highly recommend this place.👍👍😊

Very hard bed

Nice family, large room and bathroom, big shower, balcony. A quiet street, no noise from night markets once you get 50-100m away. Very clean, shoes off at the front door.

The bed was too firm. After a day of walking around I wanted to sink into a comfortable mattress. By morning it is not too bad. It seems to be a dense foam rubber mattress, which at least is better than a stiff inner spring mattress. The fridge was not plugged in, but when I did plug it in it was noisy, even inside the cabinet it was hidden in. I did not need it on this occasion, so not a problem.

Central location but far away enough to not hear loud sounds at night. Friendly family that makes you feel welcome. Big rooms with all the amentities you need to enjoy your Hoi An stay.

The homestay is located on a quiet street only 2 blocks from the main one where the night market is set up every night. It is still a local neighborhood. The family that runs the homestay is very friendly and extremely helpful. The place is very very clean. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We had two adjoining rooms that opened to a single balcony so it was great to sit there every morning, have breakfast and watch the street wake up. A really amazing stay. Thank you Ha huyen family.

This is a fabulous guesthouse. The staff are wonderful, so welcoming and helpful. It's very much a family run business, they're so friendly and ready with anything we needed. The room was beautiful, spacious and very comfortable with big windows so lots of light coming in. It's also in a great location as you can easily walk to good restaurants just round the corner and recommended by the hotel (just ask!) and to the river, but away from the noise and bustle of the main riverbank. We would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommended.

Soggiornare qui è come essere accolti a casa in una bellissima famiglia, ti fanno sentire subito a tuo agio. La posizione è ottima, si può fare tutto a piedi. Han e la sua famiglia sono disponibili e gentili, la comunicazione è molto facile e veloce. La casa è pulita, abbiamo usufruito anche del servizio di transfert per l aereoporto. Il balcone è molto comodo. C'è un market proprio affianco alla casa

Nous avons tout adoré. Nous voyageons en famille pendant 1 an. Nous avons fait beaucoup de logements et celui-ci est dans les meilleurs. L'emplacement est idéal (sincèrement), les hôtes sont extrêmement gentils et nous ont aidés pour tout. Les chambres sont claires et très, très propres. Il n'y a rien à redire sauf que c'est l'endroit idéal pour loger à Hoi An. Si je pouvais, je mettrais 11/10. Ce n'est pas évident de choisir mais là, le choix a été bon.

This is a lovely Homestay in a perfect location. Close to all the craziness in the old town but just outside of it so it’s quiet. The family that runs the place is so nice and friendly. The rooms are spacious and modern and have everything you need for a pleasant stay. We found our bed to be a bit too firm but that’s personal taste and seems common in Vietnam. We would 100% stay here again.

The property is in an excellent area, great for a quieter stay while being within a 5 min walk of the main sites, restaurants and bars. Great room with balcony comfy bed and hot shower! The staff are amazing and extremely helpful with anything you might need, lovely hosts for our stay in Hanoi. Could not have asked for better hospitality!

Han und seine Familie haben unseren Aufenthalt wirklich besonders gemacht. Die Unterkunft liegt angenehm ruhig in einer Seitenstraße aber dennoch sind Restaurants, Cafés und Supermarkt bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Ein katzensprung zum Fluss und der Altstadt. Vor Ort kann man alles organisieren lassen und falls einmal etwas fehlt, wird es mit viel Engagement möglich gemacht. Aufgrund eine Bronchitis hat man mir mit der Apotheke und den Medikamenten geholfen ❤️ Unser Zimmer war schön geschnitten, mit Gemeinschaftbalkon, harte Betten die ausgesprochen bequem waren. Kenne ich aus vietnam sonst anders und alles war blitzsauber. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Durch eine Flugstonierung konnten wir spontan 1 Nacht länger bleiben

Homestay très bien situé à proximité du centre de Hoi An et dans une rue calme. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et très serviables. Les chambres sont neuves et l’accès se fait par un ascenseur. Je recommande fortement.

Skvělý hotel jen kousek od nočního trhu, přitom trochu stranou v klidné uličce. Do centra Hoi An to byl taky jen kousek pěšky. Velmi milý a nápomocný personál. Pohodlné pokoje, možnost domluvit dopravu z/na letiště .

The location is great. It's close to the night market and near the bridge that goes across to the central market but nonetheless is quiet. The room is basic, clean and comfortable and the hosts were always very obliging. The complimentary bike that I was given to ride to Cam Kim Island was really well maintained as well (given that a lot of bikes tend to be in poor condition)

I really can't think of anything. I visited in July, which is probably the worse month to visit Vietnam in terms of the heat. I'm intending to return in the cooler months to take full advantage of Cam Kim Island.

The room was clean and had everything you would need. I stayed 2 nights. I booked a room with a balcony and was assigned one on the 2nd floor. It overlooked an empty lot and wall. There was a hairdryer which was lovely and full amenities. No kettle thought but that's listed. The bed was comfortable and the added seating a good spot to be. It's near the night market and lots of touristy restaurants.

Bear in mind this is a homestay and not a hotel. I could hear children making noise in the downstairs area. The reception was warm enough but not like the other hotels I've stayed in Vietnam. I got water the 1st day only and no one entered to remove the trash after day one. The fridge sounded like a jet plane and you could hear singing from a nearby club till 10pm at night so bring earplugs. You have to remove you shoes to enter the property but Slippers are provided by the door. Because being near the night market and small streets if you are arriving late you can't be dropped at the accommodation. I arrived on 26 seater bus from Hue at 3pm and had to be dropped off on a street 5 minutes walking away.

We had an amazing stay, such comfortable and big rooms, comfy beds and quite nice neighbourhood. The family is friendly and helpful and gives recommendations on where to go.

Great location, very calm, not in the tourist center but you still get to the old town in 10 minutes. Very nice staff!

Lovely and helpful owner! Great location to base in Hoi An. 2minute walk across the bridge to Ancient town. Free bike rental which you should definitely do to get around to further explore. Very clean and comfortable. Close by to all cafés and places to eat and drink. We’d stay again.

Not a dislike but maybe a kettle (water boiler) in the room might be nice so guests can start the day with a tea/coffee :) but so close to cafés it really wasn’t a problem for us

Me and my partner stayed here for 3 nights and it was perfect. The owner is so welcoming and polite and tells you everything you need to know about how to get around, even gave us a map on arrival. He also arranged a taxi for us back to Da Nang which was so convenient. We loved the location, it’s within walking distance to everything. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again. Book this place you won’t regret it!
