Very clean and quiet. The room was big and comfortable with a large balcony. Easy walk to the Main Street in town.

Great location and the staff is very kind and helpful. Our train was running late and they stayed past the check in time to allow us to check in. Very thankful that day!

The view was absolutely stunning!

Perhaps the distance to the train station - we decided to walk 16mins instead of getting a taxi for £50 as our time of arrival was 7.30pm or 8pm something like that. Perhaps more generous with the toiletries. Maybe foil or baking paper for the oven. However I really have to think here 😁 it was very well equipped.

We definitely enjoyed our stay at the Eva apartments. The gentleman who assisted us during our stay was very friendly and helpful. The option to do laundry on site was a nice touch. Our room was also well equipped with the basic necessities and made it easy to prepare meals in the room if needed. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

The view of the Matterhorn was amazing. Exactly what you want. The location to the Furi ski lift is perfect (5 min walk in boots) while also being close to the town (8 min walk at most). The far lift Sunnegga was 15 min with boots. The apartment was modern and clean. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped. The ski room was easy to use and very accessible. The staff was really helpful and answered messages right away.

Great all around. I didn’t understand how we had an oven, but no pan.

Johannes was excellent. So kind and helpful. The apartment has an exceptional view of Matterhorn.

Next time I would stay next to lifts as have a small child

It's an amazing stay for us, from entrance to the room, receptionist is really friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended to stay!

Excellent property in a great location in Zermatt. The apartment is well presented, clean, modern, and equipped with all basic amenities like a cooker, oven, kettle, cutlery, crockery. The only appliance we missed was a microwave but we were able to do without it. There's also a nice and clean bathroom with a great shower enclosure. Although we didn't have a direct view of the Matterhorn it was compensated by a fantastic overlook of Zermatt (especially in the evening when the lights were on) and the surrounding mountains on the eastern side of the valley (keep an eye out for the occasional appearance of Gornergrat train climbing up the hill), also look out for the famous Valais Blacknose sheep as they're sometimes grazing close by below the balcony. Overall great apartment and highly recommended for stay when in the Zermatt area

Going through the tunnel to reach the lift is an amazing experience. It can be difficult for someone who is claustrophobic.

180m tunnel to get to a lift to the apartment. We were advised that there would be trollies for skis bags etc. There were not. They were at the other end 180m from the entrance by the ski room. The ski room is at the end of the tunnel as is the (slow) lift to the reception, and then again (after you have waited) the lift to your rooms floor. I say room, as, although the room has a well equipped kitchenette, there is little storage for food and if you did cook, you would be sleeping in the food smell etc etc. The room we had was certainly not an apartment, by any stretch of the imagination. There as very little storage - notably no bedside drawers. No safe for valuables. The only window (apart from in the bathroom) is a sliding door to the balcony. You can of course open this for ventilation, but you are in the mountains so this option is not hugely practical. This lack of ventilation is exacerbated, as there is no thermostat to modify the room temperature. You are at over 1600m in very dry air and you cannot turn down the heating. It is very dry and very hot at night - all night, every night. Unless you open the sliding door to your balcony. This may sound like a minor issue, but believe me it isn’t, particularly as these “apartments” are sold as 5* residences. The bathroom is very small - difficult to manoeuvre onto the loo. All good quality fixtures and fittings, just very very small. Skiing requires a lot of “kit” and these rooms are not designed to store it! The towels are less absorbent than your average tea towel, and the robes for the steam sauna area were, quite literally, thred bare. The towels were not changed on one occasion during our stay. Incidentally, there is no drinking water supplied via either tap or dispenser in the sauna / steam area, something if an oddity i felt as rehydration is very important at altitude. The lift takes ages - particularly if anybody else is using it from elsewhere in the property.

Great location for us, close to lift and the ski hire shop and only a 10-15 minute walk from town and the railway station. Lovely balcony to chill on and the apartment itself was super clean and very comfortable. Good communication from the owners and plenty of facilities in the apartment if you wanted to cook for yourself (we didn't) Nice boot/ski storage room and washer/dryer facilities if you need them. We'd definitely stay at the apartments again. In poor weather you would take a taxi or bus to the apartments but if conditions are good then it's an easy walk.

The lift can be a a bit of a wait but that's a pretty trivial thing really - overall everything was great.

Great property only 200m from the Matterhorn Gondola.

Great location, with spectacular access via a 100 m tunnel and great views of Zermatt village. The owner, Johannes, went out of his way to make our stay wonderful. The property is also within a short walking distance to the lift from where you can access the entire ski area.

Beautiful apartment including a balcony with views of the Matterhorn which we didn't expect! 15-20 minutes walk to town which was easy without luggage but we caught the taxi to and from the station on arrival/departure. Staff were very helpful. We recommend the bread delivery in the mornings - very tasty and still warm!

This is just a personal preference, but we found the rooms too hot. Reception turned the heating down as far as they could for us, and we opened the doors and windows before bed to cool it down, but awoke each night because it got so hot.

We visited Zermatt in September. I enjoyed our stay a lot. The room had an exit to a terrace with a nice view. Area is super silent. The room had everything needed for cooking (plates, cutlery, pan, teapot, coffee machine and even dishwasher). there's no washing machine in the room but you can use one in the hotel for small price.

to get to the hotel you'll need to go through tunnel which is colder than the temperature outside but with jacket its not crucial

Clean and modern room, very solidly built! Easy walk to train station, food, and shopping, but in a quiet part of town. The host/proprietor shared a lot of good information on local hiking options and town history. Highly recommended.

It was a comfortable stay for a week. Bread delivered to order every morning was also very good. It was nice to see the Matterhorn. It was also nice to see the stars in the night sky clearly. Everything was great and nice. I think I made a good choice of accommodation.

This is an amazing place to Stay, we rented a 2 bedroom unit, it gad everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The best past is you can see matterhorn from your bedroom. The other impressive point is its entrance, from the road u need to rake a tunnel about 50 mts , and then an elevator which was dug through the hard rock, and reach rhe units thats built on top of a mountain, it makes a great first impression on you, i will stay here again next time i visit zermatt

Though the elevator is small and a long ride, it adds to the eclectic vibe. Loved our stay and the bread basket is amazing!

The apartment was clean and new. But the service was not great. We asked to raise the room temperature as the room was quite cold and our daughter was feeling a bit ill. But it didn’t change for rest of our stay. Or worse, the heater at the bathroom got turned off next day. We were never asked how the room is or no communication from the staff, and there is no way we know the room temperature as there is no control panel.. Service needs to be improved :(

Really a very nice apartment with a good view of the Matterhorn. I thought apt 6 was on 3rd floor so was a little disappointed when we realised it was on first so view of mountain was a bit obstruted by property in front but that was my fault not double checking in advance.

Our stay was amazing. Great location. Very close to (approximately 5-min walk) Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, it would be the perfect stay if you ski. The apartment itself is cozy and lovely. The balcony and the view is unbeatable. HEAVEN. Would definitely recommend to everyone. THE BEST STAY EVER!

Beautifully designed modern apartment a couple of minutes walk from the ski lift. The apartments have all been recently refurbished to a very high standard and have everything you could need. You can even order fresh bread (amongst other things) to be delivered every morning. There is a sizeable (communal) spa room with steam room, sauna and jacuzzi baths. When we go back to Zermatt we'll definitely stay here again.

Can’t say enough good things about this place!! Really nice atmosphere, our apartment 001 is really nice with decent sized living/dining, fully equipped kitchen, top brand appliances, bathroom very nice and clean, everything is in a handy place where you just need them, 2 proper sized bedrooms with queen beds, bright wooden floor throughout, everything is just perfect!! The entrance is through a tunnel a bit away from town centre but very close to the chairlift station for Matterhorn express. The heating is floor heating and I found it could be slightly cold in early morning, but not a big issue, it’s very quiet so much better than aircon or central systems like those in hotels which is always too noisy. We could see top of Matterhorn from our room, there’s also a backyard covered in snow and my son enjoyed it. It was a extremely nice experience in Zermatt, we totally loved every minute there. Oh plus, their breads and croissants are so nice, we asked for them everyday. There is a sauna room with steam and jacuzzi, there’s washing machine which costs 2 francs. Can’t wait to go back and try other rooms.

The host is amazing, the location is great (a couple of minutes walk from Dorsaz sports and the Paradise Glacier ski lifts), the room was a bit small - but didn't really need anything more than that, the kitchen was well-equipped. Free coffee. Anything we requested from Johaness - we got with a smile and beyond.
