Nexy Hostel

The reception staff is extremely competent, friendly, and welcoming, and they speak English very well. They really helped make my stay enjoyable by giving great recommendations and answering all my questions about local street food. The housekeeping team is just as respectful and warm. Refilling a 1.5L water bottle for only 10k is super convenient. I had hot water provided every morning (upon request at reception). The bedding is comfortable. The air conditioning shutdown between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM wasn't an issue at all—the dorm stays cool, and there is a fan. The lockable storage locker under the bed is very spacious (bed G/303). There is no street noise since this dorm is located at the end of the hallway. There is a bathroom/toilet outside right next to the dorm, plus an extra toilet and 3 female-only showers in the corridor. You can eat your own breakfast (bought outside) at the ground-floor bar tables. The common room on the 2nd floor is nice and large. I really loved the street art-style murals, which give the hostel a unique character. The location is perfect. The hostel is clean overall, and the sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly. Average an accomodation but very close to nightlife and the lake location is very good for first timers recommend to another peoples for stay.

L’emplacement était 10/10. C’est vraiment bien situé dans le vieux quartier. Le staff est très accueillant et serviable. Les chambres et les espaces communs sont bien entretenus.

Rooms were very small and set up like a morgue a they shut the air conditioning off all day and open the windows which let’s all the humidity in so you are insanely and uncomfortably hot at night.

Gros point fort sur les espaces communs, salle Neflix pour chiller, salle détente pour faire un petit billard. Emplacement ok à moins de 10min à pied de tout.

Gros point faible sur les espaces privés. Les chambres sont extrêmement petites, c’est pas très confortable et il y fait chaud à 8 bonhommes dedans. Le casier est pas grand non plus, pas pratique. Y a une douche et wc par étage et par genre, pas assez. Pour les fumeurs c’est pas cool, obligé de fumer dans la rue devant l’hostel assis sur le trottoir, y a bien un rooftop sympa mais inderdit de fumer dessus, du coup y a jamais personne la haut …

Perfect location! Right in the middle of old quarter and a 5 min walk to all the best streets and lake in Hanoi.

Bathroom wasn’t super clean and our sink leaked all over the floor. Definitely pay for what you get.

The staff were very friendly and the location is excellent.

My room was full of tiny moths, every time I killed one, 5 more would show up! The pillows had a musty smell like they have not been washed. The room did not feel clean at all.

I stayed in the private room, and it was a very comfortable stay. The room was very clean, and housekeeping came to tidy up every couple days. They don’t allow you to have food in the room, so there’s no problem with bugs of any kind. I didn’t utilize any of the shared spaces except for the rooftop area, which was a nice spot to sit. The staff were also quite friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the laundry service was not available during my time there, but the staff directed me to a self service laundromat just 2 minutes walk away. It is a really good location in Hanoi. Hoan Kiem Lake is a lovely spot to sit or walk around, and it’s very close by. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores within a short distance. I would stay here again.

Nothing really. I wished they’d given a little soap bar for the shower as part of the included toiletries, but it’s just a suggestion.

The other bathrooms aren't really set up for showering comfortably. It's missing shelving/hooks/space to get dressed without getting clothes wet. A small thing to pick at in the grand scheme of things

Hostel in general were clean and plenty of space to hang around (common area/bar/rooftop), nice place if you need to work while travelling. No issues with the room at all, plus they provide towels so that was a nice touch. Location is also super great: right in the middle of the old quarters, but in a small alleyway so bit away from all the chaos in the main roads.

Bathrooms are not that modern looking / a little run down, but definitely bearable and not that unclean actually (it's a hostel - well within expectations)

Amazing place to stay in Hanoi Old Quarter. Everything was great, very comfy and cosy so I slept well every night. The staff were very helpful despite me being so clumsy and locking my key in the room 3 times, they were so nice. It was very clean and all travellers were nice. Social. Rooftop is great and so it the TV room. Great value.

Only thing that sucks is the bathrooms. Showers too small and just not really good in general, shower heads falling down constantly, they need sorting out a bit. But other than that, can’t fault it.

Me gustó lo céntrico que estaba, el personal tan amable y atento. Me ayudaron para encontrar la información de los autobuses locales para ir al aeropuerto. Es un hotel de mochileros, de paso, calidad precio super bien. Y está muy limpio, dato bastante importante.

Le personnel est très accueillant et avenant. C’est un endroit convivial où règne l’ambiance d’entraide. Aux alentours, j’ai découvert le café bar « Vie Coffee «, ils servent une excellente egg and coconut coffee.

The staff at NEXY HOSTL are wonderful. We slept in a private room. The location of the hostel is excellent. There is a magical atmosphere. . A wonderful place for young people.

Estaba siempre abierto con personas en recepción. Tenía un lugar para dejar tu mochila después de hacer el check out, si te ibas más tarde. Tenía una sala de tele, de compu, biblioteca, sala de juegos con pool y metegol, lugar para comer...

Si tengo que decir algo... Le faltaba un lugar para colgar la ropa lavada/toalla usada. Pero excelente y muy cómodo.

Comfy beds, no street noise in the room (really appreciated as Hanoi is so noisy, got the best sleep). Large lockers under your bed for all your staff lots of spaces to hang out very central location awesome value for price very clean bathroom and many of them! really appreciated after lots of old bathrooms in Vietnam in other places

It was clean and well maintained. It was also close to everything which was nice for getting around quickly and easily.

There was not reliable hot water! I had to take a cold shower twice. Both at night and early in the morning there was no hot water. It was also loud. I did not realize how loud old quarter is in Hanoi.

stayed at this hostel three times during my trip, which already says a lot. Overall, everything was nice and worked well. The location is excellent, right in the Old Quarter, and the staff are very supportive, friendly, and responsive whenever you need help. In general, a solid and comfortable stay, and I would stay here again for the location and helpful staff.

The room was a bit small, and there isn't much of a social atmosphere, so it's more suitable if you're looking for a quiet and convenient place rather than a social hostel.

De kamer was ruim en netjes. We konden vrij vroeg inchecken omdat de kamer eerder beschikbaar was en dat is fijn.

Geen warm water ook niet nadat ik het water 20min door liet lopen bleef het koud.

Staff were super friendly and accommodating to an early check in as my flight arrived so early. Dorm was clean, storage was big enough to fit 2 backpacks. Central location in the old quarter.

The many floors made it challenging to socialize with others, wish there was a few organized social activities. Otherwise great stay for those who are looking for more of a chill vibe.

As escadas dos beliches não são nada práticas para subir, o que é desconfortável para quem dorme em cima. O meu cacifo ficava num espaço apertado, o que dificultava o acesso. Toda a logística dentro do quarto foi terrível. O quarto estava abafado e não encontrei forma de controlar o ar condicionado.

La literie du dortoir femme sent vraiment mauvais surtout les oreillers. Aucun respect des règles du dortoir ( un petit rappel sur le bruit la nuit serait vraiment une bonne chose ) Les sanitaires ne sont pas à la hauteur d' un dortoir. Le pire rapport qualité prix pour moi au Vietnam.. a ce prix là on peut avoir une chambre solo.

Location and staff behavior was very good.

Very congested room was provided.very uneasy to live. I suggest the nexy hostel to inhance the tariff rate ,but don't provide this type of room.Rest was o.k.

The room had a bad smell and smoke from the near room. we couldn’t stay at the room at all. the bathroom was separated by a glass.
