Beautiful cabin on a quiet guest ranch for a complete get away feel.

Nothing to dislike.

Fav stay of our full holiday, had a go of the canoe on the lake, had food made for us, seen the cows, chickens. Most importantly met Ruby and Luna who were adorable. Cabin was amazing and because of this, we changed all of the rest of our trip to cabins rather than hotels.

This was our favorite accommodation of the holiday. Amazing property with friendly family and a lot of extra activities possibilities. We loved the lake with the free kayak and boats as well as the cottage itself with its amazing fragrances of wood. Everyone gave super helpful tips and the offered dinner was delicious and home cooked. Loved the fresh veggies as well !

Great stay in a lovely area. The cabin was a lovely and spotlessly clean. The owners were great and made sure everything was ok. We also had homemade breakfast and dinner which was delivered to the cabin for us and the food was amazing 😊 the surrounding areas were perfect for walks and we really enjoyed our stay.

The owner was very nice and friendly and always ready to help if we needed anything. The cabin was just what we were imagining; very cozy, with a rustic charm. It's located right in the middle of the park, so all the main attractions are only a stone's throw away, plus you get a totally different experience than if you stay in Clearwater. We had breakfast brought straight to our room, which was also sweet. There is also a small lake on the property, and we were able to make a fire later in the evening, which was an added bonus.

I can't really think of anything as everything was great. Perhaps the price could've been a bit lower, but if you don't mind paying a bit extra for a nice place and great service, this is the place to go.

Een echte "hidden gem" in een prachtig natuurgebied. Het huisje is zeer ruim en erg leuk ingericht. Alles is schoon en comfortabel en van alle gemakken voorzien. De eigenaren zijn vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook het parkje zelf en en de omgeving zijn prachtig - er is een eigen vijver op het terrein met een beekje. Helaas waren we er maar voor 1 nacht op doorreis, maar toch hebben we het maximale eruit weten te halen.

Eigenlijk niets. Alleen een tip, onze aankomst was wat later in de middag, begin van de avond - zorg dat je of avondeten meeneemt, of ergens in het dal gaat eten. Wolfwood ligt wat afgelegen. Je schijnt te kunnen "mee eten" met de eigenaren, maar dat was ons niet helemaal duidelijk hoe en wat. Dan is het goed om te weten dat je of hebt gegeten, of voldoende proviand meeneemt. Maar doet niets af van de ervaring / omgeving en de locatie zelf.

This place is amazing! We spent nearly 3 weeks travelling around Canada and Wolfwood Guest Ranch was hands down our favourite place we stayed. The location was perfect for us - off the beaten track so nice and peaceful and with only a handful of rooms it felt very private. Joanne and her family were really friendly and helpful and gave us some good tips on where to fish (Clearwater lake), walk (wildflower meadows) and we really enjoyed the talk about edible plants. There is a beautiful lake that our children loved kayaking on and lots of games to play. We preordered dinner for the night we arrived and it was delicious, as was breakfast each morning. Our cabin was spacious (2 bedrooms) with everything we needed. The bathroom was clean and the beds were comfy. Thank you for such a wonderful stay, we would definitely return here again. We wish we could have stayed longer!

We used a peddleboat around the pond. Dinner and Breakfast was delivered to our room. Even the animals were friendly.

Die liebevoll gestaltete Ranch bietet alles, was man sich als europäischer Kanadaurlauber vorstellen würde. Man wohnt in rustikalen, teilweise sehr alten Blockhäusern, die sehr individuell und mit viel Gespür für Einzelheiten eingerichtet sind. Die Gastgeberfamilie, darunter die deutschstämmige Oma, kümmert sich reizend um ihre Gäste. Das Frühstück wird einem an die Hütte geliefert und auf Wunsch gibt es am Abend ein Handmadedinner. Um die Hütten tummeln sich Hunde, Hühner und eine Ente. Hinter den Hütten ist ein kleiner See, Kanus stehen bereit. Also auch ein idealer Platz für Familien. Die Highlights von Grey Wells sind nur unweit zu erreichen. Klare Empfehlung! Thank you for the nice time!

Absolutely everything was perfect. What a gorgeous place to stay in. Wild & cozy. Excellent food and nice hosts! I have travelled quite a bit but this place is easily in my top 5.

Lovely remote location within short distances from the waterfalls in Wells Gray. We saw a few black bears along the side of the roads! Rustic feel log cabins fully equipped with tea, coffee and breakfast is included in the price. The family make you feel extremely welcome, we’d definitely stay again.

Die ruhig Lage, die tollen Holzhütten, das freundliche Personal, die vielen Tiere und der kleine Teich, auf dem wir kostenlos Boot fahren durften! Zusätzlich war das Frühstück im Preis enthalten und wurde uns zu einer von uns ausgewählten Zeit zu unserer Hütte gebracht. Draußen vor unserer Hütte zu frühstücken und dabei die Tiere zu beobachten hat uns besonders gut gefallen! Außerdem können wir auch das Abendessen empfehlen, welches zusätzlich kostet, aber sehr lecker schmeckt und auch fair bepreist wird. Zum Schluss möchten wir uns noch für die zahlreichen Tipps bedanken, wie wir uns die Wasserfälle am schönsten und spektakulärsten angucken konnten! :-)

Leider gehören zu so einer schönen Lage in der Nähe von einem Teich immer auch Mücken dazu.

What a fantastic find. We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Wolfwood Ranch. Our cabin was very comfortable and well equipped. There was a really relaxed vibe around the Ranch. Food was great. Enjoyed our evening meal with other guests on the patio. There is a small lake with kayak/canoe to use.

Would struggle to find anything- Watch out for the pot holes on the road ip to the ranch!

Wolfwood was in a fantastic setting, slightly off the beaten track for tranquility but not too far it felt too remote. It had easy access to the falls in Wells Gray as well. The cabin was well equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The free to use canoes and kayaks were a great touch and we enjoyed an afternoon on the little lake in the sun. It was fab having the doggies running around as we were missing ours from home and they were very friendly, happy to have a pet and play fetch with a stick. Dianne and family excellent hosts, very welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help! The breakfast was fantastic and brought to the cabin, and we also had the dinner there one night which was extremely tasty. Overall we loved our stay and would highly recommend Wolfwood to others.

Die Wolfwood Ranch liegt mitten im Wells Gray Park, am Ende einer Sackgasse. Es ist total ruhig dort, man hört höchstens Tiergeräusche. Die Hütten sind sehr urig und gemütlich. Man kann schön auf der Terrasse sitzen. Frühstück wird gebracht, man kann vorher auswählen was man haben möchte. Abendessen hatten wir einmal und haben es zusammen mit anderen Gästen auf der Terrasse der Besitzer zu uns genommen. Es war sehr lecker. Die Gastfreundschaft und Herzlichkeit der Besitzer ist aber das Beste. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt.

This Ranch is amazing from start to finish. We had a very warm welcome, the whole family is really sweet. Cabin was very clean and the bed super comfortable. The food was also very delicious, we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Would definitely return if I have the opportunity

Die Lage inmitten der Natur ist hervorragend. Wer Ruhe mag. Ist hier richtig. Es kann ein Abendessen vorbestellt werden (Empfehlenswert ist der Lachs), sodass man nicht mehr diel lange Strecke in die Stadt fahren muss. Man sollte zwei bis drei Nächte bleiben, damit man tagsüber viel Zeit für die vielen Wasserfälle und ggf. im September die springenden Lachse.

Die Lage ist einfach wunderschön. Irgendwo im Niergendwo, perfekt für Erholung.

Auch wenn nachhaltig dran steht, jeden Morgen und Abend die Mahlzeiten in Einwegverpackungen hat uns nicht gefallen.

The location was idyllic up in the mountains, so quiet! We loved the little log cabins and we stayed in the original owner's cabin which was 100 years old. Everything was clean. The family were super friendly and we felt right at home. The food was home cooked and was bought to our cabin for us to enjoy on the veranda. We loved the lake and watching the wild life. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

We would have enjoyed a larger bed but this is just us, nothing to do with the property.

Een fijne locatie voor wie in de natuur wil zijn. Een klein meertje, waar je kan zwemmen of kanovaren, plaats voor een kampvuurtje. Een kleinschalige ranch die met zorg en toewijding gerund wordt door een kleine familie. En oma kookt voortreffelijk! De huisjes zelf zijn basic, maar netjes.

Het zou handig zijn moest er ergens plaats zijn om je eigen potje te koken of iets af te wassen. De buitenkeuken wat uitbreiden zou het buitenleven helemaal af maken!

Il ranch è meraviglioso, sei completamente in mezzo alla natura, a circa 20 minuti dal paese, ma è proprio quello che lo rende speciale. La nostra cabin era bellissima, curata nei minimi dettagli con il patio per potersi rilassare nel silenzio. La colazione è compresa e servita in camera, c'è anche la possibilità di cenare. Abbiamo anche cenato e il cibo era cucinato con amore con le verdure deliziose del loro orto. Accoglienza splendida dei proprietari e super disponibili. Lo consiglio per un'esperienza di relax dopo la visita al meraviglioso Wells Grey Park.

This was our best "hotel" during our 3 -week Canada trip. The location is idyllic, calm, far from the crowds. The cabins are very nice and comfortable with beautiful decorations. The hosts are super kind and cater for all needs. The breakfast and dinner were delicious and they even made a fire, so my son could enjoy it. We also used tha canoe on the lake behind the property - my child really enjoyed it!

The hosts were so nice! Beautiful location, wonderful cabins (although the floors and doors were a bit squeaky), super cozy atmosphere. It's clear the family loves what they do, we loved the breakfast and dinner (served on our porch directly) and really enjoyed talking to Tarn about wildlife, the farm animals and edible plants on the included tour in the morning. Off grid location, but then we were already in Wells Gray to explore, which was great.

We were two couples, and one room was clearly for kids with two single beds, but other than that it was all good.

Very well located and nice and cozy cabins. Great breakfast and dinner! The dinner was cooked freshly with vegetables from the garden and was really good. We took it all evenings. Lake with canoes and the farm tour was really great as well. Really great place to stay in Wells Gray

Wenn man einen Aufenthalt in einer abgelegenen Unterkunft sucht ist diese Ranch auf jedenfall weiter zu empfehlen. Sehr freundliches Familienunternehmen. Das Frühstück und Abendessen (wenn man das will) wird einem zum „Chalet“ gebracht. Das Gemüse kommt aus dem eigenen Garten der Familie.

Really enjoyed our one night at Wolfwood. The cabin was so homely with lots of personal touches and local history. The humming birds were a real highlight. A warm welcome and nice breakfast included. Would highly recommend.

Es waren zwei wundervolle Tag in einem liebevoll eingerichteten Blockhaus inmitten der Natur in der Nähe des Wells Gray PP. Wir konnten u.a. einen Bären auf Futtersuche erleben und jede Menge Kolibries beobachten. Sehr nette, liebevolle und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Das im Preis enthaltene Frühstück wird morgens in das Cabin geliefert, ist reichhaltig und gut. Abends kann man auf Bestellung ebenfalls sehr gut essen. Es gibt auf der Ranch auch einen See in dem man baden und paddeln kann.

Leider hatten wir nur zwei Tage.

An amazing stay, we only stopped a couple nights, but it could have been more! Great suggestions for walking routes with amazing views! Great home cooked breakfasts and dinners! We topped it off with a farm tour just before we left, feeding the cows and goats and seeing the ducks and chickens! Couldn't recommend enough!

Sehr tolle Unterkunft. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und der Bungalow deutlich geräumiger, als man es auf den ersten Blick vermuten mag. Lediglich das Badezimmer ist sehr eng und die Dusche nicht für breitere Personen geeignet, aber das hat uns überhaupt nicht gestört. War wirklich sehr schön, würden wir sofort wieder buchen und können es nur jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der dort in der Nähe ist.

Die Unterkunft liegt mitten im Wells Gray Park und bietet einem die perfekte Ausgangslage den Park zu erkunden. Die kleinen Hütten sind unglaublich liebevoll eingerichtet und geben einem das Gefühl von zu Hause. Zudem ist die Familie, welche die Ranch betreibt wahnsinnig freundlich und aufmerksam. Hinter der Ranch befindet sich ein kleiner See in dem man gut baden kann und zudem kostenfrei die Kajaks und Kanus der Familie mitbenutzen darf. Wir waren drei Wochen in Kanada und das war auf unserem Road-Trip mit Abstand die schönste und beste Unterkunft. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Although breakfasts were good, because they are delivered to your cabin they aren't hot.

Our cabin called Fir. It was perfectly proportioned and styled beautifully and imaginatively by the owners fitting in with the ranch setting. Being able to sit on the porch and witness hummingbird action at close quarters was amazing. The food offered was tasty and homely all freshly prepared and good value. The family owners make this a special experience.

Being a very rural setting be prepared for flying insect activity but to be expected.

This is a little paradise in the wilderness. We really enjoyed our stay and the customer service was excellent. The onsite food preparation was exceptional complete with homemade buns, soup, breakfast and dinner (optional). Well done!

de chalet is basic masr heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Het is prachtig gelegen middenin wells gray. Het is er heerlijk rustig en er is ook een meertje aanwezig. De ontvangst was hartelijk, ontbijt was ok. Heerlijk als je van logeren middenin de natuur houdt. Wij zouden zeker terug gaan.

Het verblijf is in het Wells grey provincial park en in de directe omgeving vind je watervallen en lange en korte hikes. Wij zagen nog een jonge beer langs de weg. We werden fantastisch bediend en hebben genoten.

Alles was prima, zeker voor deze prijs.

Amazing hideaway. The owners go over and above to make your stay special. The cabins are gorgeous and the surrounding area is beautiful. We loved everything. F breakfast and evening meals were wonderful.
