Sehr gute Ausstattung der geräumigen Zimmer. Sehr sauber und geplegte Anlage.

Kein Fahrstuhl im Haus. Frühstück auch für Münchner Verhältnisse überteuert.

Greit utvalg og god service på frokosten. Fint med muligheten til å sitte i vinterhagen og spise frokosten. Møbler var gode og utseendemessig tiltalende. Beliggenheten var flott. Bakgården med sitteplasser, beplantning og blomster bidrar til rolige stunder.

Bedre brød og kjøttpåleggs utvalg. Stekte egg og bacon alternativ ville bidratt til komplett opplevelse av hotellfrokost. Spesielt med tanke på prisen for frokosten.

L’hôtel est très bien situé, en plein centre-ville, ce qui permet de visiter facilement les principaux endroits à pied. L’emplacement est vraiment pratique pour découvrir la ville. Le personnel est également très gentil, accueillant et disponible. J’ai passé un très agréable séjour !

When we arrived the staff in reception was very helpful and patiently showed us to the garage and helped with our bags. We had been given extra directions to get there since there was construction everywhere. As a result it was easy to find. The room was beautiful and had far more amenities than we anticipated, like a stovetop, sink and microwave. The bathroom shower was excellent and the bed comfortable. Most of all, it was within convenient walking distance of the Hofbrauhaus, the Marianplatz and many restaurants.

Breakfast was €30 pp and probably worth it. Like much of Munich, the area is a building site and even the taxi driver couln't find the place. Lots of restaurants and 5 minute walk to Marienplatz and shopping

The hotel has a terrific garden that we would meet family. In the evening, we often bought in food and were able to enjoy an outdoor table for 6 or 7. These tables are used by the hotel restaurant for bfast bet were available in the evening for pleasant family meals.

O quarto é amplo, com muito conforto e as instalações do banheiro/chuveiro são excelentes! Os jardins internos são muito bonitos e românticos. E o café da manhã é farto, com produtos frescos e saborosos: destaque para o delicioso hommus caseiro.

Infelizmente uma obra defronte o hotel prejudica um pouco o acesso. Se for de taxi, para facilitar, coloque o endereço do restaurante vizinho: Vino e Gusto (mas não indico este lugar para comer, devido a má educação do dono)

El personal es muy amable y la ubicación es muy buena

La primera noche nos dieron un apartamento en dos alturas, todo comunicado, que nos resultó incómodo para estar con niños pequeños. Al día siguiente nos cambiaron al que tienen en la foto y mucho mejor.

Zentrale Lage und sehr gutes Frühstück. Schöner Garten hinten raus.

Zimmer hatte keinen Balkon und starker Baulärm war schon früh am Morgen zu hören. Für diese Preis-Leistung gibt es Steigerung nach oben. Wir haben für zwei Nächte inklusive Frühstück und Garage 1100 € liegen lassen. Trotz München, hätten wir dafür etwas mehr erwartet.

The staff were excellent and made every effort to deal with any queries and ensure our stay was comfortable. The location was ideal and a few minutes walk to Marienplatz and the English Garden.

Vehicle access is a challenge due to the ongoing construction and repair work across the hotel. Also, some of the suites have a wall in between dividing the living room with the bedroom making both of these smaller and dingy

Das Frühstück war enttäuschend, die Bauarbeiten vor dem Haus und beim Durchgang haben gestört.... dafür hätte ich mir ein Entgegenkommen vom Hotel erwartet Ich habe ein Zimmer mit Balkon reserviert, wir haben ein Zimmer im EG bekommen, an dem Leute vorbeiliefen

Alles super, Personal sehr, sehr nett, Zimmer 2+. Die Lage des Hotels war sehr, sehr schön mit Schattigen Innenhof, außen ist man zwar sehr schlecht mit einem Auto rangekommen, zu Fuß waren es aber nur 3min. Frühstück war sehr gut, manche Sachen wurden auf Wunsch direkt und frisch zubereitet. Für mich war es auch sehr schön, das man auf dem Balkon/ Terasse rauchen durfte, Danke für ALLES, ich komme wieder.

Tesis merkezi aradığınız,göreceğiniz heryer yürüme mesafesi.Yataklar inanılmaz rahat,oda geniş ferah,mikrodalga,kettle,kahve mk,tabaklar ,bardaklar herşey düşünülmüş.Kahveleri bittikçe yeniliyorlar.Çalışma alanı ,uzanabileceğiniz koltuk,oldukça konforlu.Banyo malzemeleri düşünülmüş,hem havlu ,hem bornoz ,hem de terlik var.Dolap yeterli askı düzeyine sahip.Ve temiz.Odamız balkonlu değildi ama otel bahçesi çok keyifli,sessiz sakin,huzurlu.

Bu kadar para ödenen bir tesiste kahvaltı dahil olmalıydı,kişi başı 30 euro istediler.Bu çok fazla.

Staff was nice

It was extremely loud with multiple construction sites around. The AC barely worked and the facility is quite old and run down. The smell in the stairways was extremely chemical. I found a cockroach in the gym.

Everything was lovely!

The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the breakfast. It was honestly pretty bad. Everything else was ten out of ten!

Calme de l’appartement sur jardin, balcon de bonne taille,personnel de qualité à la réception et à l,entretien des appartements.

Quelques accessoires pour le four à micro-ondes seraient nécessaires : un récipient adapté et un couvercle anti projection notamment. Un saladier serait aussi le bienvenu.

The location is perfect, right by Hofbrauhaus and Augustiner! Walking distance to English Garden for a dip in the river to cool off. Lots of shopping a few blocks away as well.

The only downside was all of the construction going on near the hotel. It made it challenging to find and get to.

Very close to old town, subway, restaurants. Could walk few minutes to Marienplaz, Residenz Palace, others monuments. Very clean. The air conditioning was very helpful . During our stay we had few days plus 35C in Munich in the afternoon. Staff very helpful . Thanks to Alicia and Simon

Sehr schön und gute Lage. Zimmer mit Küchenzeile - die war sehr gut ausgestattet, alles was man so braucht (zb auch etwas zum abwaschen, Toaster etc.) sehr schöner Innenhof! Frühstücksangebot mit 30 Euro schon etwas teuer, aber gute Auswahl! Rewe ganz in der Nähe wenn man wie wir mit Kleinkind kommt und mal was kleines kochen will. Gut erreichbar vom Zug aus!

Beim Frühstücksbuffet könnte man alles beschriften inkl. Allergenen - für jemanden mit vielen Allergien einfach angenehmer nicht bei allem nachfragen zu müssen. Nur als Anregung für die Zukunft!

Lack of security since the entrance was off of the main street and anyone could come inside (reception was a few steps away).

Freundliches Personal, Optionen beim Frühstück, wenn mann keine Vollversion möchte, perfekte Lage, sehr ruhiges Zimmer. Serviceleistungen im Zimmer, wie Kaffeeautomat.....

Bei der Buchung feht der Hinweis, dass es renovierte und alte Zimmer gibt. Man sieht es zwar bei der Buchung ganz klein oben im Fenster, wenn man das Hotel allgemein betrachtet sieht man vor allem die schönen und geräumigen Zimmer die neu sind. Das Personal war bereit mein Zimmer von der 4. Etage in die erste zu verlegen, leider ohne den Hinweis, dass dies auch ein altes Zimmer ist.

Terrible stay. Elevator was good and stuff were friendly and housekeeping was good. I'll stay was terrible. Even motel 6 has a working toilet, working air conditioning, A much lower price, and you do not hit your head REPEATEDLY on the ceiling. Air conditioning did not work at all and they offered us a fan which also does not cool. I hit my head eight times because the ceiling is low and in between the windows the roof comes in at an angle leaving 29 inches of true real ceiling, but I cannot show my photos here. Do not use the bathroom because the flushing is not adequate and your product stays in the bathroom forever. Faeces for ever. Everyday. Construction made it difficult for the taxi to get here and complicated our trips to the city but the location is otherwise good. Never stay on the top floor which does not have a real ceiling and never use the toilet in bathroom except for urine, and always test the air conditioning after 5 minutes because it kept turning off. The one other good thing is there is a laundromat in the basement but it cost 20 euros to do a load of clothing. Breakfast is €30 which is €60 for two people. The Nespresso machine in the room works well, and hot water is good.

The space was wonderful and quiet. It was great for having a little one with us. Everything was thought of and made our stay very pleasant. The location was close to everything but felt away from the main drag. The staff was phenomenal.

Die sehr zentrale Lage - das große Zimmer - das freundliche Personal

Statt einer Badewanne, die ins Bad hineingezwickt wurde, eine Dusche! Wer legt sich schon im Hotel in eine Badewanne?

Aamiainen oli hyvä, mutta laskutus todella sekava. Näyttää siltä, että tosista kahvikupeista, vedestä ja osasta aamiaistarpeista piti maksaa extraa.

Die Lage des Hotels mitten in München, in der Nähe des Viktualienmarkt und Marienplatz kann besser kaum sein. Lediglich die Baustellen im Umkreis waren für die Anfahrt etwas herausfordernd, wobei der Rest des Urlaubs einfach "Rund" war. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und die Ausstattung mehr als man brauchte. Wir kommen gern wieder, auch ohne "Meisterfeier" des FCB. ;)

Hotel location was excellent. Our room was spacious and inviting.

We had no hot water for two of our 4 days in Munich. Of course, it wasn’t the fault of the staff, but it certainly impacted the quality of our stay. We were surprised the front desk folks didn’t offer us free breakfast, a bottle of wine or beers or some kind of gift to acknowledge the rather large problem with our room. The staff knew we had no hot water and on day 2 of the problem merely acknowledged the issue and advised they “were working on it”. They could have done more…..

The room was depressing. Carpet old and ugly, furniture dated, felt like a cheap 2 star hotel.

I liked the staff, the location on a quiet street in the centre of Munich, the view of the garden courtyard from my room, the kitchenette in my room, and the glassed in dining room overlooking the courtyard. I really liked the fact that I could order breakfast from an à la carte menu! I can’t eat a lot at one meal so breakfast buffets are a waste of money for me. I loved everything about my 4 night stay at Maximilian and would definitely stay there again if I am able to return to Munich!

Am letzten Tag funktionierte unsere Dusche nicht. Das Housekeeping muss unbedingt freundlicher und kompetenter sein.

City view was actutally a working contruction site starting work at 7am immediately opposite our bedroom window. We were told to access the car park by a different route due to construction work which took an hour of driving around due to the instructions actually included a road that was totally closed minor problems like the bathroom bath and sink plugs did not work.

Great location, super clean & staff were welcoming and helpful. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the balcony having our morning coffee or an evening glass of wine overlooking the pretty gardens after a full-on day.

-We’ve stayed at the Maximilian before and broadly enjoyed it again — central location, comfortable apartment, courteous reception. As hoteliers ourselves, a few honest observations- 1. At circa €300 a night, €30 per head for a modest, ordinary buffet is excessive. The pre-purchase option wasn’t visibly offered on Booking.com, so we paid the walk-in rate. When we politely raised it on departure, we were told it was “standard.” It isn’t — and it has risen sharply since our last stay. By comparison, the Platzl — widely rated one of the Altstadt’s best breakfasts — sits below the Maximilian’s rate, Hotel Torbräu charges €25, the Mercure Altstadt bundles it in at €18, and even the 5-star Louis Hotel is €39 à la carte for a markedly superior spread. 2. The biggest issue — and not disclosed at booking — the hotel is currently surrounded by active construction (Marienhof / 2nd S-Bahn works), running even on Sundays. Would we return? Possibly — but we’d skip breakfast and check the construction status first. More transparency required.

Personal sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommen. Essen sehr lecker und vielfältig! Was besser wäre - Kaffeeautomat für Gäste zum selbst Drücken! Bei den kleinen Tassen die da sind, brauchst zwei-drei Tassen, und wenn du auch zur zweit am Tisch bist, musst du 4 Mal nach Kaffee bitten - peinlich! Ich ging direkt nach dem frühstück Kaffee trinken in der Stadt. Auch kein Rührei - warum?!

Theke mitten im Raum ist unstabil und wackelt, die Wasserflaschen kippen um! Kühlschrank ist sehr laut. Keine richtige Deckenbeleuchtung was den Raum sehr dunkel macht. Die Relais im Unterverteilung sind so laut, es gibt doch Brummfreie Relais für Taster Schaltung, Nachts bei Licht an weckt mach den Partner! Stühle sollten neu, sind durchgesessen! Und das schlimmste, Waschbecken im Bad - alles wird immer rundum Nass weil Wasser von der flachen Beckenumrandung natürlich nicht abfließen kann. Katastrophe! Vorschlag - lass dem Hotel Manager selbst den Waschbecken nutzen. ;-)

Centralt beliggende i Altstadt. Fantastisk gårdhave. Dejlig altan til lejlighed. Super service af ung mand som ved vores ankomst slæbte vores kufferter helt op på 4. sal, da elevatoren var i stykker.

Tidlig støj fra nærliggende byggepladser. Lejlighedens soveværelse på 2. sal meget varm og svær at køle ned allerede nu i slutningen af april. Morgenmad alt for dyr og totalt overrated.

Πολύ ακριβό για αυτά που προσφέρει. Πολύ ακριβό πρωινό. Μας ενόχλησε που με την άφιξη μας, μας ενημέρωσαν ότι κάτι έπαθε εκείνη την ημέρα το ασανσέρ και θα το φτιάξουν την επόμενη. 5 μέρες μετά που αναχωρήσαμε το ασανσέρ ακόμα σαν εκτός λειτουργίας

About the room, everything was just like advertised. No surprises. It was spacious, clean, comfortable. The small kitchenette is functional. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is close to old town , you can walk around easily. But I would still suggest taking a cab from airport if you are with lots of luggage or with kids, cuz you have to walk like 500m from closest station otherwise.

Location. Easy communication with staff. Very accommodating with early arrival.

A superb hotel in a great location not far from the Old Town and several transport hubs so it was easy to get around. The kitchen was well equiped, the bed was super-comfy, lovely hot water in the bathroom. The amount of food available for breakfast was impressive and there's an option of full breakfast for 30 euros (18 for kids) or a smaller selection from a menu for less cost. The garden area with fountain was very peaceful and the nearby construction work (only Monday-Friday) didn't really impact when I was out exploring most of the day - I did have a garden-facing room. All the staff were friendly and efficient, and I was shown to my room after checking in. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Munich.
