Hotel staff were amazing. A big shout out to reception staff, my morning coffee member that always made sure my coffee was hot enough and Akin.. my man at the bar of an evening.

Everything was good except some noise at night

Noise

During our stay, we experienced an extremely disturbing and unacceptable incident that constitutes a serious violation of our privacy. While our room was occupied, hotel staff entered our room by unlocking the door with a key card without our consent and without receiving any clear authorization. At that moment, my spouse and I were inside the room, and our most private space was violated. Hotel representatives later claimed that the door had been knocked. However, no consent was given by us to open the door, the door was not opened, and despite receiving no response, the staff proceeded to unlock and enter the room using a key card. Entering a guest room without explicit consent and without receiving a response is clearly against hotel standards and the fundamental right to privacy. At the time of the incident, the room was occupied, and we were in an extremely private moment. There was no emergency situation such as fire, medical issues, or any security-related risk. The reason later given for entering the room — such as a menu change — does not in any way justify accessing a guest room by key card. Furthermore, the hotel’s General Manager attempted to normalize this incident by stating that “this is something that can happen anywhere in the world,” which is completely unacceptable. Hotel management stated that the incident was reviewed through security cameras and that we would be allowed to view the footage. However, at the security office, we were shown footage belonging to other rooms only, and the recordings related to our room were not shown to us. Upon our request, the Security Manager ended the review process, citing a hotel event as the reason. This approach lacks transparency and further undermines trust. Due to this serious violation, we were forced to terminate our stay early and immediately check out. We requested a full refund through Enuygun. However, we were informed that a refund without deduction would only be possible if we checked out within 15 minutes, which is frankly astonishing given the severity of the situation. This incident raises serious concerns regarding guest safety, privacy, and service standards. We respectfully request that this matter be thoroughly investigated and that our grievance be properly addressed.

Good; - in general a nice hotel - very nice and helpful staff - OK gym - good restaurant, and far better then what earlier reviews have stated. Bad; - completely a wasteland around the hotel, and close to a highway - the breakfast is medium and not western oriented, even though it looked like most of the guests were non-Turkish. No cold milk some of the days. - wardrobe by he gym not too clean. - hard pillows. I would have given rating 4, but the day I left was a mess. The hotel offered transport to IST airport, and I ordered (and paid for) pick up at 05.30AM in the morning. No car came and the guy in the reception knew nothing. When he called for it the car, it had broken down (I was told). I had to wait more than 30min for a new car, and then the driver had to drive like hell for me to reach my flight. Absolutely not safe. Even though it's a sub supplier that has messed up, it's the hotel that offered the service. By such critical pick ups, they must follow up an check up on their partners. This messy end to my stay resulted in reduction in my overall rating from 4 to 3.

When we extended our stay for another day, they charged us a higher price than the initial booking without any valid reason.

The highlight of this place was the service at the pool area. Superb management. Sauna was excellent, poolside facilities also very good. Highlight for me was the massage service. Trained therapist addressed my exact need to alleviate muscle tension and sciatica - competent and quiet treatment. So unexpectedly good. She was an Indian therapist called Unika, experienced in several Indian hotels including the Taj, a premier brand. This management clearly recruits well. Lifted the Yelova stay immensely.

The hotel is very quiet even it's near the highway also the room is comfortable . The staff are helpful and friendly, if i am coming back to yalova definitely i will stay in the same hotel.

This hotel is ideal for business travellers and potentially holidaymakers. Nicely laid out hotel from reception with a great bar in which the bartender has an unbelievable memory for previous drink order. Excellent variety of food for breakfast and dinner meal. Never tried lunch, but I would imagine it would be very nice. All the members of staff I had the pleasure to assist me with were excellent. The rooms were nice, clean and cozy and very tidy, along with a very good Wi-Fi connection. In summary this hotel is highly recommended for business travellers along with holiday makers.

Liker hotellrommet. Romslig, god seng og fint bad. Synes maten i restauranten har stive priser og er små porsjoner. Serverer kalde rundstykker til forrett. Alle andre steder i byen får man servert ferskt brød/rundstykker. Gymmen er 10/10. Og de ansatte er supertrivelige. Savner et biljardbord, darttavle, pingpong-bord eller noen form for aktivtet man kan gjøre på hotellet utenom trening/basseng.

Nice hotel, excellent gym, good service. Stiff price in restaurant. Small portions, have to order rice extra with food that should be served with rice. Serving cold baguett as starters that is not good.

I was staying for work so hard to comment, pool was out of action for the 2 days of my stay which was a shame

Pent hotell og veldig renslig med trivelig betjening. Alt man trenger på hotellet med fine fasiliteter. Ikke gåavtand til butikker er eneste minus.

We were celebrating Birthday at this lovely hotel and we have only good impressions about our stay. Staff at the reception Emin and Aysegul greeted us in very friendly way. Room was perfect, there’s everything you need. Outdoor pool was great and staff organized Birthday cake right at the pool which made us very happy. Nice touch:) thank you. Breakfast was really delicious and big choices of everything. Late check out also was given. Thank you Garden Inn for taking care of us, we’ll definitely come back!

We didn’t check in because we have been told that veil is not allowed in the pool as one of the ladies was drowning because of it few months ago. An obvious discrimination from the hotel manager who was trying to impose his own rules. I really don’t recommend and not intending to check in any of Hilton branches anywhere due to such behaviour.

A good hotel, if you have to go to the port. Very good and friendly service. Super comfortable rooms, beds and linnen, quiet and all clean. Also a ver good laundry service! A large menu to have dinner and a decent free breakfast early in the morning. Fast check in and check out.

It was comfortable as you would expect from a Hilton Garden hotel.

Grest overall experience. Nice rooms, comfortable beds. Staff very helpful and serviceminded. Nice pool area, spa and gym. Hakim in the bar is a wonderful man - a treat. Good breakfast and good selection for lunch and dinner. Tasty dishes for dinner. Worth a visit.

Garden Inn Hilton had all the amenities near rooms,best dining,be it breakfast or lunch or dinner. Was very happy to live here on a short stay. My son's work at the Yalova shipyard made me stay here. Had gone on a holiday. Loved the local market local food and the general ambience. Will always stay here while at Turkey.

The staff especially the bartender was very pleasant and happy to let you enjoy your use of the facility’s. Also front desk staff are very helpful and supportive. I have to thank a housekeeper Ms Yassmenah was very helpful and doing her best.

This is an excellent hotel. I read a criticism that the location makes walking to the city and the waterfront too difficult. That is true but can't be a bug problem as taxis are quite affordable in Turkey. The staff is great - friendly and helpful. A previous reviewer complimented the housekeeper. I agree. The room was nicely cleaned and restocked daily. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but we spoke to someone who did, and he said everything is excellent. Our room was a little small but very nicely arranged and outfitted. The gym, spa and indoor pool are much nicer than I expected. They had nice cookies and lemonade in the lobby in the afternoons - a nice touch. The snack sales area was remarkably well stocked. We didn't buy anything, so I don't know the prices. All in all, a very nice stay.
