The location is unbeatable and the building itself tastefully restored and beautifully furnished. The staff were excellent and we enjoyed a very pleasurable stay.

The 'heated' pool was a bit colder than I thought it would be but was good to have as an option as the sea was too rough to swim in when we were there. It would have been more enjoyable if it was a little warmer.

Olimme hotellin lokakuun lopussa superior sviitissä viikon ja nautimme todella olostamme. Huone oli kaunis, sänky oli hyvä. Aamiainen oli herkullinen.Meren kohina kuului huoneeseen ja näköala oli upea merelle. Mereen pääsi uimaan kun otti muutaman askeleen. Matka vanhaan kaupunkiin oli aika pitkä, mutta meitä se ei haitannut, koska tykkäämme kävellä.

Personnel au petit soin très agréable. Nous avons passer un très bon moment que se soit le soir sur la terrasse ou même le matin au petit déjeuner.

Sur les photos nous avions le spa mais pas sur le réel et nous étions sensé avoir vu sur la mer et nous étions un peu plus vu sur la rue.

Location was great. Beautiful, clean, on the ocean, lovely rooms and great beds and fantastic showers. The breakfast was also fabulous.

Sehr schönes Boutique Hotel, liebevoll eingerichtet, in exponierter Lage direkt am Wasser. Die Mitarbeiter waren super freundlich und immer hilfsbereit.

Kein eigener Parkplatz sodass sich die Parkplatzsuche für einen Mietwagen schwierig erweist.

The location was on a busy road an outside of the main town. Our room was above the kitchen and dining facilities room and so at night it was noisy.

Au départ je voulais mettre une mauvaise note car l’accueil n’était pas terrible (le Monsieur n’est pas très chaleureux): bon j’aurais dû voir qu’il n’y a pas de parking, mais il n’y a même pas de zone où s’arrêter pour laisser ses valises. Et la route est très fréquentée. Impossible de s’arrêter devant. Ensuite le Monsieur nous dis en gros de nous débrouiller et ne donne aucun conseil. Ensuite nous avons pris la suite en duplex. Il faut prendre la suite côté EST car celle côté OUEST n’a pas de terrasse (pour le même prix. Mais sur la photo c’est celle à l’EST). Il y a une douche/WC minus, séparé du salon par une porte fenêtre transparente qui n’isole pas du bruit (….) et si on allume la nuit, ça éclaire la chambre forcément. La rue derrière est très bruyante donc évitez les chambres côté piscine (la piscine borde la route). Pour aller en ville c’est 20’ à pied mais c’est très moche, le long de cette route. On ne peut pas suivre la plage (qui est moche aussi). Après, j’ai vu que les hôtels de l’autre côté de la ville (à l’EST) c’était pire: que des grands hôtels avec la route devant, puis la plage puis la mer au loin. Ça faisait pas rêver. Ça me rappelait l’Algarve. Et je me suis dit que finalement cet hôtel n’était pas si mal. D’autant que c’est le seul qui a un restaurant au dessus de l’eau (sympa pour le petit déjeuner).

Frühstück war gut, schönes Zimmer mit direktem Meeresblick, angenehme Meeresrauschen, Bushaltestelle ganz in der Nähe, um in die Stadt fahren zu können. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, vielen Dank für das installieren vom Tresor, die Lunchboxes und das Taxi zum Flughafen!

Manchmal hat Wasser aus der Wasserleitung unangenehm gerochen... Der kleine Strand neben dem Hotel war ungepflegt... In der Umgebung sind viele zerstörte Gebäude zu sehen...

Stunning hotel set in a beautifully renovated old factory right on the beach, with excellent attention to detail throughout. Excellent location on a quiet swimming beach away from the crowds, excellent quality amenities, delicious breakfast, and excellent staff. There is a very good restaurant that operates out of the hotel from 2pm, and there are also a number of good tavernas, cafes, and mini markets nearby. Only a 20 minute walk to the old town. Despite backing onto a very busy road you cannot hear any noise but the sea once inside the hotel. The rooms are spacious, airy, and beautifully decorated. The hotel facilities are beautifully decorated with many small touches. A relaxing and luxurious place to stay.

Our stay was very pleasant and upto expectations, staff were incredibly polite and nothing was to much trouble.

Parking is there only issue which they know and the Greek government putting up taxes. !!

Very unsafe location. We had unloaded the luggage on the busy street and carried the luggage up and down the stairs. No staff to help. The receptionist was rude and unpleasant. Loud noises from busy street and the swimming pool is size of hot tub.

Sea view split level suite was excellent. Very clean and the best views. Slight smell from drainage but didn't spoil the holiday. Hotel staff were amazing. Helpful and friendly. The restaurant was run separately so could not charge meals to room. Other restaurants nearby. Would recommend Cabo. Lovely views, food and staff. However, breakfast was included so no probs there. Enjoyed the varied buffet breakfast. Pool is small and on the roadside so noisy at times. Small beach area for the hotel but we had a lovely patio outside the room. 20 minute walk into the Old Town along a very busy, noisy main road.

Apartament z pięknym widokiem na morze. W apartamencie bardzo duża przestrzeń, przestronnie, wygodne łóżko, ogólnie bardzo fajne miejsce. Śniadania całkiem niezłe, można się najeść: owoce, jajka, wędliny, sery i warzywa, plus woda i smaczna kawa z ekspresu.

Brak parkingu, ale na plus dosyć blisko darmowy parking miejski. Także nie był to problem.

למי שמחפש שקט וסטייל -זה המקום.חדרים גדולים ומפנקים , מלון בוטיק קטן ואינטימי- כ- 10 חדרים בסה"כ.חדר עם נוף לים (מומלץ !) מדהים !!! מסעדה ברמה גבוהה על המים .יציאה מהירה לכביש המהיר והגעה מהירה למגוון חופים ועיירות. שירות הקבלה במלון והמלצרים בארוחת הבוקר וגם במסעדה בערב- מצויין !

1.מי שמחפש facilities - בריכה ,חוף ים פרטי גדול ומפנק ומרחק הליכה מהמרכז זה לא המקום..ל'מרכז העניינים' והבילויים ולחוף הים המסודר והטיילת של רתימנו צריך לנסוע ברכב כ 20 דקות (יש חניון קרוב למרכז בתשלום שהוא נוח). 2.למלון אין חניה וזה אומר לחפש חניה כל פעם מחדש.יש חניון לא מסודר במרחק של כ 300 מטר מהמלון (עליה :)). 3.למי שמחפש שפע ומבחר בארוחת הבוקר - זה לא המקום.הארוחה נחמדה ומגוונת אבל לא בסטנדרטים של מלון בוטיק גדול. 4.הפתרון שנתנו לנו למקלחת לפני טיסה (טיסה מאוחרת והחזרת החדר עד 12:00) היה לא נעים ,לא נוח ולא מכבד.מחסן עמוס (שהיה פעם ספא) עם מקלחון אבל בלי אפילו מקום להניח את הבגדים ותיק הרחצה .מאוד לא נוח 'להתארגן' לפני טיסה וזה לא סטנדרט המצופה ממלון בוטיק.

Es un hotel maravilloso, todo está perfecto. El servicio es súper amable, el desayuno es perfecto, las vistas son un sueño y la ubicación está genial, a un paseíto de 25 min al centro. Disponible de una playa junto al hotel. Aunque, a primera vista, penséis que no merece la pena, probadla. Es maravillosa, con unas aguas cristalinas en cuanto pasas las piedritas del inicio, muy tranquila. El día que más gente había, hubo 14 personas. No llego a entender cómo no había más gente allí. Una estancia maravillosa. Justo frente al hotel hay un restaurante llamado "PEPPERS" o algo así, es una opción ideal en calidad-precio, si queréis picar algo.

The pictures of the pool are a bit misleading as it is really small. However, with the beach right there that was minor.

Si tratta di un edificio antico, tant’è che all’interno delle camere le pareti sono state lasciate con la roccia originaria, ler cui sono sicuramente suggestive. La struttura si trova alla fine di Rethymno, con un oanorama molto bello dalla terrazza del ristorante, che è anche champagneria a picco sul mare. Colazione buona

Innanzitutto è lontanissima dal centro, a piedi è più di mezz’ora e non è affatto una passeggiata perchè i marciapiedi sono tutti rivinati, rotti e le macchine sfrecciano pericolosamente. Ció posto, la piscina è una vera e propria pozza, di piccolissime dimensioni, il mare è impratucabile, con tutti sassi e rocce e in quel lunto molto e sempre agitato. Il ragazzo che ci ha accolto alla reception non ci ha dato nessuna informazione, ho dovuto anche chiedere una seconda chiave, visto che all’interno è necessario inserirla per far funzionare luci e aria condizionata. La mia camera aveva il soppalco con la stanza da letto. Tuttavia la scala che portava sopra era proprio sulla consolle con macchinetta del caffè e bicchieri: in sostanza ogni volta che si saliva sopra cadevano dalla scala capelli e sporcizia, a riprova della scaraa pulizia e soprattutto della non felice organizzazione della composizione della stanza. Il tutto per una notte a 250€! No comment!

La chambre vue mer du RDC a une salle de bain et des toilettes inutilisable lors de vents forts (forts refoulement qui innondent tout via les toilettes) et cela est visiblement connu; cela gache totalement le séjour et c'est dommage car l'hotel est vraiment joli, et les personnes vraiment accueillantes.

The property is in a beautiful setting a 30 minute walk from the old town

The walk to the old town is down a busy main road and is not very scenic The private beach is very dirty with minimal umbrellas for the number of sun-beds There is no where to lounge around outside of your room - we felt like we were guests of the restaurant attached and getting in there way

This was a perfect location for a few days’ getaway. Nice hotel right by the beach with lovely staff. Can also recommend the hotel restaurant. Five star stay!

Wonderful location! Wonderful amenities in the room. It was a dream to stay here and be lulled to sleep by the sound of the crashing waves, and to wake up to them in the mornings with a beautiful sunset. The breakfast in the patio is delicious and comes with that incredible view and sunrise over the venetian fortress. The bathtub in the room is incredibly luxurious and fun. The couch and the mattress are both so comfortable and lovely to fall asleep on. There is a nice big balcony overlooking the breakfast and restaurant patio to enjoy the sunset from. The staff is warm and kind.

Everything was perfect except the parking, which is a struggle everywhere in Rethymno. But since Thalassa is at the edge of town it is actually easier to find parking around 300 m away close to the bus stop just before the town begins.

We absolutely loved this hotel! This has been such a special holiday from start to finish. We stayed in the Sea View Suite and it was worth every penny – waking up to those stunning views each morning was unforgettable. The breakfast is beautiful, with plenty of delicious options to enjoy while looking out over the sea. The staff made our stay even more memorable – so friendly, kind and welcoming. They really go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The private beach is a real bonus – peaceful, clean, and perfect for relaxing. It’s about a 30-minute flat walk into town, but the reception team are happy to call a taxi if you prefer – nothing is too much trouble. I also had an in-room massage, and it was genuinely one of the best massages I’ve ever had – such a lovely touch of luxury. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard everyday. The restaurant is incredible – amazing food, great drinks, and a lovely atmosphere. We honestly didn’t want to leave and are already talking about when we can come back. Thank you so much for everything – you made this trip unforgettable! 💛

Stayed their for 7 nights and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The location is great with access direct to the beach and outside the busy tourist areas. The food at the restaurant was arguably the best in the area and a must do. Staff and hospitality are also impeccable.

This hotel is perfect! The rooms are super comfortable and the views from the breakfast area and balcony are phenomenal! Breakfast is tasty and the service was faultless. While there is a busy road outside the hotel, you cannot hear it from the rooms or the breakfast patio area. There is no parking at the hotel but plenty of free public parking nearby which worked just fine. It’s about a 20-25 minute walk into the old town of rethymno which makes for a lovely evening stroll along the sea front. Its location is a perfect middle between Chania and Heraklion allowing for plenty of activities in both areas. We stayed a week but wish it could have been longer! Would highly recommend! 11/10
