Reviewed Sep 15, 2026The view and the location was perfect. The hotel is next to the city center. We had a lot of space in the room.
We arrived at Saturday. We didn’t get a parking lot. The parking garage where you can get a 15% discount from the hotel, was full the whole time , although we tried several times. To get a cheap parking space was a real problem. In the night from Saturday to Sunday it was very loud outside the hotel and it wasn’t possible to open the windows but you have an air conditioning in the room.

Zimmer: top: groß, sauber, Bett sehr gut, Verdunkelungsvorhäne, Klimaanlage, Kaffemaschine mit Kapseln für den Early Morning Coffee, Wasserspender am Gang zur freien Entnahme, kl. Falschen dafür im Zimmer. Wir würden uns noch einen Safe am Zimmer wünschen. Badezimmer: top: groß, ausreichend Ablageflächen, Duschgel, Haarshampoo, Schlapfen, Föhn Mitarbeitende: top: ob im Zimmer oder an der Rezeption sehr freundlich Frühstück: gibt es nicht, aber im Lokal daneben hat man eine gute Auswahl und bekommt als Hotelgast einen Rabatt Parken: wir haben in der Parkgarage San Giusto geparkt und dafür gibt es im Hotel eine Ermäßgungsbon von 15 %

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026High quality mattress and pillows. Good location, lovely view outside the window. The hotel is in a busy location, but windows are soundproof. We took full advantage of the filtered water.
For a four-star hotel, I was a bit surprised by the coldness and rudeness of some of the staff. We followed the hotel’s instructions and notified them via WhatsApp that we would arrive an hour before check-in to drop off our bags. No one responded to our message or answered our calls. Someone eventually called to say they were running late, but we still weren’t given a door code so we could leave our luggage. When the staff member finally arrived, I got the sense that she was having a bad day and didn’t want to deal with me. She scowled and ignored me and our luggage until my male partner appeared. Then she was suddenly all smiles and very nice to him. It was a very odd experience.

Posizione centrale, camera e bagno molto ampi e luminosi dotati di tutto il necessario per trascorrere un piacevole fine settimana (phon, shampoo, bagnoschiuma, ciabatte, doppi cuscini, macchinetta per il caffè, televisore, etc). Letto grande e comodo. Molto gradito anche il boccione con acqua fresca nel corridoio. Ammesso il cane senza pagamento di sovrapprezzo. È già difficile che siano ammessi, non pagare per lui è stato molto gradito. Ci hanno offerto l'uso di una ciotola all'arrivo ma noi avevamo gia tutto il necessario con noi. La struttura ha una convenzione con un parcheggio poco distante ma non ne abbiamo usufruito perché abbiamo trovato posto nei parcheggi con strisce blu nelle vicinanze (la domenica sono gratuiti).
Unica pecca il rumore esterno la sera. Essendo su una delle strade di maggiore passaggio e con presenza di bar e ristoranti, con le finestre chiuse e le doppie tende tirate si sentiva tutto il rumore esterno. Per una notte non è stato un grosso problema, per più notti conviene portarsi i tappi.

La camera assegnataci, la numero 8, era in una perfetta posizione. Ottima l’insonorizzazione. Una volta chiuse le finestre non si sentiva alcun rumore proveniente dall’esterno.

Bez poplatku za pejska, v recepci hned při příjezdu nám nabídli půjčení misky pro pejska. Velmi příjemně vyřešená klimatizace - umístěná na zemi, nehlučná.

In the morning cleaning lady started to clean the corridor and the rooms very early and very loud, throwing some things and making a lot of nice :( it woke me up. On the positive note no noise from the outside. Only from the corridor :(

The bed and pillows were excellent with a modern and very clean bathroom. It also provided a good functioning air-conditioning which was greatly appreciated during the recent European heatwave! The support prior to and during our visit was exceptional with reception support being available for limited times during the day. The apartment has secure access and has the bonus of a good operating lift. This was a fantastic apartment for stay in central Trieste.

50 stairs and no lift. The Queen bed was made in a very odd way with two separate sleeping bag like arrangements which were quite uncomfortable and I had to remake the bed.

Reviewed May 30, 2026Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und es gibt in der unmittelbaren Nähe gleich zwei Frühstückslokale! Das Zimmer war geräumig, sauber und das Bett sehr bequem. Auch das Badezimmer hat eine angenehme Größe. Es wurde täglich geputzt und aufgeräumt. Bei Fragen steht jederzeit jemand zur Verfügung. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
Der Aufzug ist etwas klein, was für uns kein Problem war, mit Kinderwagen wäre es jedoch unmöglich 🙈 Ansonsten war alles perfekt!

Reviewed May 26, 2026Die Lage war perfekt zentral, alles war fußläufig erreichbar. Die Unterkunft war sehr schön, geräumig und auch sehr sauber, es hat nichts gefehlt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Ausblick vom Zimmer auf die Piazza Della Borsa war genial. Frühstücken konnte man ausgezeichnet in einem sehr netten Lokal direkt im Haus, Reservierung wird empfohlen.
Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden.

Reviewed May 25, 2026Aus dem Bad kam ein sehr unguter Geruch. Außerdem war es sehr kalt im Zimmer bzw. Bad, da auch bei 12 Grad Außentemperatur nicht geheizt wird. Ferner ist der Fußweg zur nächsten Parkgarage 400 m, bei Regen sehr mühsam, da keine Parkmöglichkeit bei der Unterkunft vorhanden und auch keine Unterstützung durch das Personal geleistet wird. Eigentlich handelt es sich hier nur ein um eine Schlafgelegenheit mit Bad ohne weitere Servicierung.

Veel lawaai van de weg die voor het hotel langs liep en het plein was vooral vrijdagavond/ nacht erg druk. Airco werkte niet en badkamer rook best muf. Had meer verwacht voor € 230 per nacht ..

Julia worked the front desk and did a great job. She called us a taxi and gave us dinner suggestions. She was very helpful. The location is great. Near cruise port, bus and train location. There are lots of restaurants and shops around this hotel.
The only thing negative I have to say about this place there is not really a lobby. Small check-in area with one chair.

Reviewed May 17, 2026What an AMAZING accommodation. Location was SUPERB. Room was really spacious, TV was huge. Bathroom was nice, clean and big shower and bidet. King size comfy bed. Window was looking right onto piazza which was lovely. One really important point is that the room was very quiet despite being close to everything. Foodwise you get get the best coffee and breakky/lunch next door at the Cafe and get 10% off if you tell them your staying at 9 Stanze. Staff were super helpful and very informative. Will recommend to travel agent/friends/family if you wish to be close to shops, restaurants and only 150m to Italian piazza too. Close to buses and sea. FANTASTIC CHOICE!!
