I'll start with all the good things about this hotel. The location is great!! We walked to all the sights. The staff is really friendly. The room is clean and the hair dryer is great. Now for the things that are just ok...

Good for a couple of days not a longer stay place

This was my second stay at this hotel. This time I had been given a ‘superior’ room. Although it was like a suite, the only window looked out on to a shaft with drain pipes. I asked for a room change which they did the next day - so I had paid for a ‘superior’ room and ended up in one of the normal rooms which I was more satisfied with, apart from the pricing issue - I really feel I deserve a refund. The free bottle of wine was a large bottle of prosecco - for one person!!!! Ended up throwing most of it down the sink. Despite excellent location I’m not sure I will stay there again.

The staff was wonderful in helping us with any needs we had, like extra bedding and getting taxis. The breakfast was great!

A hiccup with check in as hotel.com did not send through the separate bed requests and it was after hours but the hotel management were extremely kind in offering us a complimentary second room for the night. Amazing

Exceptional front desk staff. So friendly and helpful to us and see she spoke perfect English. The roof top breakfast buffet was over the top fabulous...from the freshly squeezed OJ,the coffee,eggs,bacon, and on and on! The lovely man who made my cappuccino endured all the guests were well cared for. The only down side was the construction noise from the adjacent building.

Our stay was truly memorable. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and every area was well cared for, which made us feel both comfortable and safe during our trip. The staff, especially Elizabeth’s, were outstanding, welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with recommendations that gave us a truly authentic Italian experience. The location was ideal, with everything within walking distance, which made exploring the area so easy and enjoyable. This was our anniversary trip, and staying here made it unforgettable. We are so grateful for the warmth and hospitality we received and would highly recommend to anyone visiting.

Great location! We will definitely be staying here when we come back to Rome! On the listing it says hot tub and spa, they do not have either. Not a big deal but if you’re wanting either they don’t have it.

Fantastico! We had to make a last minute booking due to another property letting us down. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the delightful Elizabetha (spelling?). The hotel is on the 4th floor, easily accessible by lift, of a lovely building. We walked to all the key attractions and didn't find a need for transportation. The hotel room was small to medium size and was spotlessly clean. We upgraded (small cost) to a room with a lovely bijou balcony which we sat on each evening. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast buffet which was well stocked with friendly staff serving freshly squeezed OJ and speciality coffee. Bottom line is that we would definitely stay again. This property is a little unique when you first get there because you need to go to the fourth floor to check in…. But the room was clean and the staff was a 10 out of 10….. also there is a great breakfast in the morning up on the roof that is included. This hotel is very convenient to everything. There’s lots of great restaurants and easy walking distance to a lot of attractions. I would highly recommend it.

Close to riverwalk & Castle. Walkable to many main attractions including Trevi fountain, St. Peters, and the Vatican. Not a ton of food options but more than enough quality options that we did not eat at the same place twice in the five nights we stayed

Our stay at Vitoria Colonna was excellent. The location is perfect. We took public transportation once and walked everywhere else. Very friendly and helpful staff. We will return to one of their properties. When we were there the wifi was out (+6 days). It made it difficult to work, but we survived.

Very friendly staff. Good location and walkable to attractions or take a bus just down stairs. Good breakfast. Just be aware that the elevator is tiny and the waiting can be long sometimes. If you have problem talking the stairs sometimes, it could be a challenge.

This place was amazing! Not only did Elisabetta answer all of our questions, but she sent us additional information on options for traveling to the port. We tried a few of the suggestions for dinner and they were all excellent! If/when I come back, this would definitely be my first choice for a place to stay.

We had an excellent stay. The property was clean, walkable to all of Rome. The staff was helpful and kind. They arranged and airport transfer that was easy. The only negative was the few days we were there they had a problem with Wi-Fi so there was no Wi-Fi. Huge bonus was in the room was one US. Would absolutely go back again. Elisabetta and staff were wonderful!

We really enjoyed our stay here. All the staff was amazing and so helpful. The breakfast was also a great. This made our first time visit to Italy a one to never forget. We sure will recommend this place.

The staff were lovely and made us feel welcome. We had a good size room which was clean and comfortable. Hot and cold water was always available in the common room which was very nice. Would definitely return and recommend.

The room was excellent but above all the welcome and service we received from the staff looking to make our stay the best possible even if they experienced some issues with the WiFi. I can’t say enough good things about Elissabetta who welcomed us, provided recommendations on visits, booked restaurants and provided a gift to offset the WiFi issue. She ensured our stay was very pleasant! I highly recommend this hotel!

The rooms were small but well laid out and clean. The service was fantastic and the location was within 20 minutes of all the main sights. The bus was also convenient when tired.

Balcony was an amazing amenity and everything was quick and easy access frok the hotel. Staff were super helpful!

It's in a great location with friendly staff. Breakfast was great. The room was pleasant. Only slight issue was a rather odd ensuite bathroom with a clear window right into the room! So a rather major lack of privacy! everything else was fine and they gave us a reallly useful sheet with recommended restaurants. I'd recommend and stay again but they really need to invest in curtains / frosted glass!!!!

This hotel was recommended to me and I was really happy with our stay. The room was clean and comfortable . The staff are really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good and it's easy to get around. The bus from the Termini Station stops almost outside.

Staff is helpful

The only issue i had is a limited time staff was avaliable so i made it but my flight was a little late and almost didn't

We were very impressed with this hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and the breakfast is great! Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable.

The location was excellent, and the staff were even better. Whilst there isn't 24/7 on site presence, this was made clear beforehand. The staff were friendly and helpful when we needed them. The rooms were clean and breakfast was good quality.

Elisabetta and her team at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. We arrived early in the morning and they held our luggage so we could enjoy the city until our room was ready. The breakfast was delightful- great selections of croissants, meat, cheese, fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice and tasty coffee. There was an elevator to help with baggage, although the beautiful old marble steps were lovely to occasionally climb. As are most accommodations in Europe, the room and bathroom were a little on the smaller side, but this did not detract from a great experience. Everything was clean with fresh towels daily and cold water provided in the mini fridge. The location is perfect and walkable to most attractions, with bus stops a few steps away in the street. Also several restaurants very close by and the staff were always helpful in giving recommendations. Will absolutely recommend to friends and visit again for future trips!

The concierge hosts were so kind and helpful. We loved our stay. Breakfast and coffee was a great start every day. We walked 11 miles a day seeing everything from Vatican City to Trevi and Piazza Novana.

It was the most memorable stay. Everyone is so helpful and sweet, especially administrator Elisabetta who is so kind and nice, she helped us with everything: tickets, call to agencies etc. rooms are clean and breakfast is amazing and delicious. I highly recommend this hotel. It’s very close to historical district

Staff were incredible and provided us with plenty of information for trips and things to do, also providing a restaurant list. The breakfast was fantastic, so many options and amazing breakfast staff Room itself was cosy and had air conditioning, everything we needed was there and staff were on hand to assist. Only drawback was a non full length blind and the door buzzers being rather loud after hours. I think this was due to room selection. 4th floor for the hotel, a lift is available, a consideration for some.

Both the property and staff were exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable about the Rome area, the hotel itself was centrally located and walkable to all of Rome’s’ best and brightest tourist sites as well as off the beaten path areas. I would and will stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to everyone.

Rome is the "Eternal City", you can live there for 10 years and discover something new every day. From Relais Vittoria Colonna you can walk to the most touristic places around the city or can just lose yourself in to the surroundings. The bus stop is literally (30 metres) from the door! Breakfast is great! But the best is the staff!! friendly, willing to help, and always smiling!

The bed was a bit too hard for us. The rest of the room is excellent though small.

I had a good stay at this hotel, which was ideally located for exploring Rome’s historic sites on foot. It was also an easy walk to the collection point for a day trip to Pompeii, which made things really convenient. Finding the hotel was a bit tricky, as there was no street signage — you’ll need to check the apartment call bell to identify the building. That said, the staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. Breakfast was included in the stay, though I didn’t take advantage of it. Overall, it was a comfortable and well-placed base for enjoying the city!

Wonderful guest house in a beautiful location. Easy walk to the Vatican, St Peter’s, Trevi Fountain and Via del Corso for shopping. Easy to catch the bus right outside the door. Lavinia and Elisabetta were wonderful, patient and full of great suggestions and ideas. The breakfast is very nice: omelettes, sausages, ham, pastries, fresh fruit and juices. Brewed coffee available, and they will make espresso drinks of your choice upon request (included with the breakfast). The room was immaculate, and cleaned and maintained daily with fresh towels each day. Thank you for a wonderful stay, I hope to return again some day!

A lovely place to stay. Wonderful staff, well located and a mutitude of nationalities and languages. Good room and breakfast. It is nice staying somewhere that does not look like a hotel though that does make it slightly challenging to find in the first instance. Tip; climb the wonderful marble staircase to the 4th floor (12 flights) go on you know it is good for you - or take the lift.

Staff was tremendously helpful and courteous. Room was beautiful on 4th floor of an older apt building with an amazing foyer and recently remodeled, with tall windows and ceilings and a view of a small courtyard, making you feel like native Roman. Breakfast was excellent with jam, eggs, bacon, prosciutto cotto and smoked speck prosciutto, with free espresso and cappuccino and cariety of fruits, yogurt and cereal

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All of the great reviews were spot on. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, quiet and comfortable, the breakfast was generous and the location was easily accessible to most of the major sights. We walked everywhere and the hotel was within easy access of some of the most popular sites (Vatican City, St. Peter's Basilica, Spanish Steps and the Pantheon). Lavinia and her team were top notch. Elisabetta especially went out of her way to make us feel welcome. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would try to stay here again if we are ever in Rome. A solid, 5 star experience. Loved our stay! All of the staff were so friendly and helpful! They were very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable throughout our entire stay. The breakfast was delicious. It felt very secure and it was quiet. Great location, we were able to walk most everywhere. So many great restaurants and places to shop nearby. Would definitely stay there again!

Perfect quiet boutique hotel in the heart of the city.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property in Rome, and continue to be impressed. The central location to all major tourist sites is great for walking, and it is close to the river for relaxing strolls. The breakfast is great, and access to coffee/tea/snacks through the day is a plus. The staff there are all so nice, and our host Livinia was very helpful during our stay.

Stay was good. Staff were great and no complaints with staff. Only items worth noting, the beds are on the firmer side and during breakfast they clean the dishes near the rooms which is on the louder side which will likely wake people in the rooms. Aside from that no complaints

A modern property which gave us easy access to be in and out of the building.

This is NOT a Hotel, but a guest house, staff will not be reachable after 7pm if you need something. Entry card did not work on my last night’s stay, staff lack of response was completely unacceptable.

Lavinia-the receptionist was rude, instead of greeting us like Good evening/ Ciao, how can I help you... she greeted us " what's your confirmation number? with unpleasant tone of voice...

I really appreciated the great customer service this facility offered. Lavinia, Mary and staff were responsive to questions and communication prior to an early arrival. Lavinia shared tips on getting around and restaurants. Staff were hospitable. I will stay there again if I return to Rome.

The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and there was clean cold and hot water available all the time. The room was very clean but I noticed some ants by the window. I made sure that my suitcases are away from the window.

Bigger room and bathroom than Casa Santa Sofia hotel we stayed in first leg of our trip.
