Reviewed Aug 24, 2026Netjes, mooie entree, ruime kamers, bij ons was WC-Bidet en Wastafel-Douche gescheiden, die ruimtes waren krap bemeten. Diner was prima, ontbijt ook. Personeel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Parkeerplaats op het terrein van het hotel.
Herinrichting van de wc ruimte in onze kamer zou wat ergernissen wegnemen.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Une famille qui a plus que compris ce que le mot service veut dire. Exceptionnel ! Mon fils venait d’être opéré à la Châtaigneraie. Bien que la cuisine soit fermée, ils ont préparé un repas spécial pour qu’il puisse dîner d’une seule main. Quelques jours plus tard, ils ont appelé pour prendre de ses nouvelles !

L’hôtel est très confortable à tout point de vue. Chambres au calme, petits déjeuners et repas du soir succulents. Cerise sur le gâteau: un personnel souriant et aux petits soins.

Reviewed Jul 20, 2026Es ist ein sehr schönes, ruhiges Hotel mit schönem Garten zum Sitzen. Hunde sind sowohl im Restaurant wie auch zum Frühstück erlaubt. Betten waren sehr bequem und die Zimmer haben Klimaanlage.
Ein Wasserkocher oder eine Flasche Wasser auf dem Zimmer wären schön gewesen.

To shower there was a mat missing to not slip in the bathtub. For one night it was great, but room was small. A small board would be nice for the cosmetics in the bathroom. The restaurant could also offer a light a la carte dishes. A variety of healthy salads with meat or fish.

Qu'il n'y ait qu'un seul crochet pour le drap de bains alors que c'est une chambre pour deux....mais ce n'est qu'un détail dans une très belle salle de bains, et qui 'aurait été gênant qu'en cas de séjour prolongé.

The location was long way out of the centre of Clermont Ferrand (2/3 miles ?) but as we were only staying the one night it was not a major problem.

Altough there is a lot of parking, its a bit tight manovering into the space available.

Hélas Royat est un village en voie de délabrement. L'hôtel n'y est bien entendu pour rien. Les autorités publiques devraient se préoccuper de l'état de ce lieu qui pourrait être fort beau.
