Close to the railway station, the breakfast room had lovely views over the Aran.

Shower a little tight and the bathroom is over the pub, however if you shut the bathroom door, it was quiet enough.

Free parking was great. The room was clean & comfy. We ate dinner at the inn on the evening we arrived, which was very tasty. Book a table as it gets busy. A lovely location overlooking the river.

Achter de bar langs naar de kamer. Vloerbedekking was niet schoon op de trap en om de kamer wat hobbelig. Kamer kon wel een opfrisbeurt gebruiken.

My friend and I had lunch at the restaurant located inside the hotel, it was good and we like the food. Good quality.

We had a room that had everything we needed and the beds were very comfy. The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast was cooked to order by a lovely chef and was delicious. Breakfast is served in the conservatory which has a great view over the river. It was in a very convenient location and we would return next time we are in the area.

The location was good for the purpose of our visit. The food was excellent with the prices being reasonable. The beds were comfortable

The shower tray was slippery, it could have done with a mat on the bottom or a grab rail. The water from the basin tap wash was tepid and the pop up basin plug didn't hold the water. it just ran out. By far the worst aspect was the very loud music from the bar below, it destroyed any chance of sleep.it was still playing well after 11.00 on a Friday and Saturday niight. We rang downstairs Friday night to complain and the staff member told us he would pass our comments to the manager, it must have fallen on deaf ears as the very same scenario happened on the Saturday night It was extremely annoying as we had to set off at 7am for a seven hour drive home. We would challenge any member of the management team to try and sleep with that volume of music being played. We wouldn't use this establishment for accommodation in the future.

A fantastic stay. Very comfortable room with lovely view over the river. All the staff were very friendly and extremely accommodating. Breakfast was lovely all freshly cooked quality ingredients. We had a big family meal for 20 in the pub. Service and food were excellent.

Only thing I would say is that if you struggle with stairs ask to book the room on the first floor. You won’t get the view but your knees will thank you!

We loved the location next to the river and on the outskirts of Little Hampton. We were welcomed by the owner and staff. The food for breakfast was excellent and with a wonderful view. We ate in the restaurant at one evening and enjoyed our meal and the sunset. The room was clean and the shower was fantastic!

The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was very good. The shower was excellent. The room was very clean with fresh towels and bedding daily.

In our room had a green fluorescent safety light for safety but instead of it being above exit door was directly above bed fixed to ceiling i kept waking during night especially first night there

Great location on edge of town & 5 minutes walk from Littlehampton train station. Lovely, modern & clean have stayed a few times now & food downstairs is great.

Lovely location close to the river and beach. Staff are very friendly. So many seating inside and outside the pub. Room we stayed in was spacious, nice bathroom, great light throu window.

Unfortunately couldn't open the window without the noisy train so just kept it closed.

We stayed for one night but wish we'd booked for longer. All the staff were really friendly and explained everything very clearly. All the food (dinner and breakfast) was excellent - freshly cooked to order. Plenty of on-site parking and an easy walk to the beach, town centre etc.

No major negatives - bed was a bit on the squeaky side but that was about it.

Nothing much, only the room was OK, clean and the bathroom was very spacious. The owner recognised our discomfort and disappoinment and gave us a generous refund. I should point out that the other rooms in The Arun View probably deserved the reviews of "fabulous" but our experience didn`t match this description. We left and were able to cancel our breakfasts.

First of all, to get in room 1 where we stayed, the only access was in or out by the FIRE EXIT- or behind the bar where the staff were serving. It was very noisy with music up ot 12.30. We survived this by watching TV. There was also no hot water to wash with in the morning and quite a strong smell of paint.

Wonderfully sited next to iconic bridge (site of the previous Iconic Green Swing Bridge with great river views (as the name suggests) Excellent range of food and drinks nicely served y relaxed and friendly staff.

The stairs to the room were quite steep but the staff were excellent and helped with bags and made it not a problem.

We booked 2 rooms which were both clean and comfortable. The restaurant was large and the service and food were very good.

Although the restaurant was very good there was no lounge area in which to relax and chat whilst enjoying a drink after eating.

The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The pillows were cheap and flat. No support at all. The bed linen was rough. There was a bright green light in the ceiling right over the which was on all night. Very difficult to sleep

Lovely staff, highly efficient, I could not have been better looked after. The menu was varied, food well cooked and very generous and my room had everything I needed plus an interesting view over the river.

There was nothing I did not like. The staff have the running of the place down to a fine art.

The room was large and clean. The staff was nice. The location made it easy for both access from the train station and walks in town/to the sea front. The restaurant with the view on the river was great - decor and food!

The radiator turned on in the night and became too hot. The emergency lighting felt really bright and intrusive.

We had a wonderful time in Littlehampton thanks to great accommodation, brilliant service and good food. The view of the river from the dining table was delightful. Being able to park the car all day on site while we went walking was so convenient. Staff are very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Room was super - clean, modern decor, very comfy beds and top notch bathroom. Most highly recommended. April 2026

Location was just a few mins walk from Littlehampton railway station and 10 mins lovely walk to the seafront. Wonderful restaurant menu at reasonable prices. Had the whole plaice which was delicious. The room seemed newly fitted out, bathroom/shower etc. View of the river.

The noise from kitchen fans was quite loud in the room however it went off promptly at 10pm

Staff were very accommodating, Bedroom comfortable/Shower excellent. Restaurant food was good.

Compact room but had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent and the man who served us was exceptionally friendly.

On arrival the bar staff were standoffish, no smiles or acknowledgement. The bathroom was freezing as the heated towel rail didn't work. WiFi was poor.

This is an old traditional pub on the bank of the river Arun. Nice bar and restaurant. And plenty of car parking. A short walk from the town centre and close to the railway station. The food was excellent, but the best thing was the staff, all very welcoming and friendly. Certainly a place we would like to return there.

Location was excellent for the river, beach, town centre and the yacht club where we were attending a party.

The glowing green light in the bedroom which stayed on all night. VERY annoying.

Our room was at the back over looking the river. Away from the busy road. Also a whole floor separated us from the pub, so it was lovely and peaceful. The view was lovely. Littlehampton was lovely. The breakfast delicious.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food: evening meal and breakfast, were exceptional and the view from the dining area was lovely. The shower was wonderful

The only downside was that our room faced the railway station and trains were coming and going for what seemed like all night - they stopped between about 01.00 and 04.00 I think. The road outside was also very noisy - take earplugs!

The property was fine. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a good size.

Unfortunately the property is on the opposite side of the road to a train line. The trains were quite noisy and started just after 4am.

Sausages could have been a bit better

We only stayed for 1 night and the only room they had was a twin room. They were happy and accommodating to push the single beds together for us. The location was central. 5 minutes to the train station and 10 minutes into town. We had a meal at the restaurant aswell. I definitely recommend. Connor was fantastic and so nice! We definitely would stay again!
