Food lovely

Bar closed too early

All staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and reasonably priced as was the drink. We were happy enough with the room as the bathroom had a walk in shower as we requested. I had to ask the receptionist for a hair dryer as there wasnt one in the room.

We were not told that the kitchen closed early and as such, when we came down between 7.45 and 8.00p.m we were unable to get food. We ended up having to go into Omagh town and have a McDonalds:. We also noticed that there was someone vaping at the bar and according to guest information there is no smoking or vaping allowed indoors. Nothing was said to the person who was vaping. .One other thing, there was no telephone in the room.

Excellent location cloose to the Ulster American Folk Park. Easy to find, lots of parking. Very comfortable room and excellent breakfast. We also enjoyed a very good dinner in the restaurant.

I suppose the only thing was I’d booked a hotel so we could eat in the hotel as to having to look for takeaways etc but we arrived on wed and restaurant was closed until Friday so we ate in restaurant on Friday and it was amazing

Great location , close to the Dublin Road. Very friendly and accomodating staff, particularly Josephine and the night Portet who went above and beyond to help us.

We didnt like the dull atmosphere at the restaurant food was ok. Couldn't get any cocktails due to having no mixers. No atmosphere we got our food went straight to our room as there was no music or nowhere to sit have a drink except in the restaurant tge reception area was in darkness.

I really liked my stay in the Mellon country inn, very reasonably priced and dinner was fab. Myself and my mom had a great sleep and a fine breakfast included in the price

The property is located opposite lovely mountain and river views and has easy access from the main road. There is ample free parking and it’s very safe and secure. Inside the first feeling we got was that of warmth. As we walked through the doors we were warmly welcomed by Anna who made us feel at home instantly with her warm smile and chat. Anna, like all the other staff that we met on our visit, enhanced the experience and a great asset for any hotel to have. The food was excellent and could not be faulted in any way. We tried 5 or 6 different items from the menu and they were all delicious 10/10. We ate in the bar where Micky the bar man looked after us all night and again made us feel really welcome and comfortable. A great character. There was a lovely fire lighting in the bar all night and the entertainment that came on “The Bedrockers” were absolutely fantastic. We sang and danced the night away in this fabulous bar surrounded by fabulous people, staff and customers alike. We slept in the executive room and it was lovely. It was huge so you never felt on top of one another and it was spotless. The bed was a lovely queen size and super comfortable and the shower/toilet were again very roomy and spotless with a powerful shower and zero issues. We had a wonderful breakfast in bed thanks to Laura, and lovely staff member who greeted us with a warm smile when delivering the breakfast which was again absolutely delicious. 10/10

Lovely room which was spotlessly clean. Bar and restaurant area also very nice and food was excellent. The staff were really helpful especially the wee bar man who is a real credit to the hotel.

the place was run down severely the wood was falling off the windows walls carpets stained, towels in bathroom had ground in dirt, there were coffee rinngs all over the bedroom furniture from previous guest very little attempt was made to clean, the beds were brick hard pillows not much better, prob the worst hotel i’ve stayed at to date and we travel quite a lot for work

The staff were so lovely and did all they could to help us out. They went out of their way to make sure we had a smooth stay. Can’t thank them enough for the care they took of us.

Even tough the hotel was quiet I didn’t get a wink of sleep all night with the noise of the cats on the road, surely they should have better windows to cancel out the sound when situated beside a very busy main road , only thing that let it down .

Heat in the bedroom no ac. dirty tv remote. Photos of room and bathroom is of an upgraded room not the one we stayed in. It could do with some renovation maybe. But for the price was good!

It’s was not too far out of Omagh town. Near the folk park

It was unclean the bathroom had grime all round the bath. There was an iron burn on the carpet. For breakfast - the soda bread was uncooked still frozen. We wanted muffins but were told “the bread man” hadn’t been!

Perfect location for a christmas trip to the American Folk Park just 5 mins up the road with lots of free parking. The staff are very helpful & friendly gave us a nice warm welcome. Our room was clean & spacious with complimentary toiletries very handy as I forgot shampoo. Irish breakfast was super with plenty to choose from, We ate in the restaurant on one night & found our meals to be very tasty & beautifully prepared good sized portions. The pub had entertainment on over the weekend it was great craic we throughly enjoyed the whole experience.
