Reviewed Aug 5, 2026Het hotel is ruim opgezet met een grote ontbijtruimte. De kamers zijn comfortabel en goed onderhouden, waarschijnlijk recentelijk aangepakt, net als de gemeenschappelijke ruimten. En alles is super schoon!
Net als op veel andere plaatsen in Japan maakt dit hotel gebruik van check in en check out machines. Het is uiteraard erg efficient voor de organisatie, maar ik mis dan toch even de persoonlijke aandacht en het gevoel van waardering voor het gast zijn.

Reviewed May 29, 2026This was a beautiful hotel right on the beach with a great view of the ocean. We stayed in a room with a private sea view onsen on our balcony, it was amazing. Our room, and the entire hotel, was beautiful. The buffet dinner was really excellent as well! The staff was so kind. I thought I had left my phone in the taxi, and they were really working hard to try to find it. Luckily I found it stuck in a random crevice in my bag, lol. We stayed at several onsen hotels on this trip, and I thought the water was the most moisturizing at this one. Sitting in the private onsen with the moonlight shining on the beach was sublime.
Nothing. it was perfect for a one-night stay to complete our time in Hakodate.

私は本を読みながら寝る習慣があるので、妻のベッドと連動している照明ではなく、それぞれ別の照明が欲しかった。 喫煙室が2階にありますが、私は部屋で吸いたくないので禁煙ルームに宿泊しているという理由で、その喫煙室が使えないのは理不尽でとても不便でした。

Reviewed Apr 12, 2026The balcony onsen is exceptional. Breakfast was good, and the dining area has a section looking out the ocean. This was close to the botanical garden and an excellent ramen shop.
The soundproofing is severely lacking. If you are very sensitive to thuds, good luck requesting for a resolution. The staff eventually was able to compromise with us by moving us to the top floor, but all in all you can still hear super loud thuds. It's acceptable during the day, but nights were rough. The first room we were at also had a gym locker scent lingering in the air. It was not pleasant at all. Thankfully, the second room didn't have this issue.

Reviewed Apr 9, 2026Nice price for a large room with private onsen, meanwhile breakfast is included. You can enjoy your time with stunning view of sea, island and mountain. Providing free parking lot, 10min drive to other tourist spots in Hakodate. Breakfast is amazing with plenty of food options. The overall experience is great with this renovated room in Hakodate.
If you speak English, better speak slower or get help with your google translation in your phone. Dont worry, their staff are patient and professional, just not fluent with english.

There was NOTHING TO LIKE. Whatever you do, DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL - IT IS AWEFUL. I CHECKED OUT IMMEDIATELY AND TORE UP $1,500 for 3 nights prepaid as they offered no alternative room and no refund.
