Great location. Very friendly staff and amazing service. Very clean. Recommend for families. Or large groups.

Location is top notch. Proximity to sultanahmet, the neighbourhood is nice. Rooms were really clean and modern. Lots of electric ports conveniently in the room. Good mini fridge and a few tables you can use along with chairs. Staff is extremely helpful and give very good advice, also lifted the vibe of the stay just by all being very positive. They have many services and tours at the reception that are on display if you want, also airport shuttle that is good. Felt like the hotel also wasnt greedy when it came to cancellations and refunds etc and that was really nice.

All the value goes to the location, it barely acts as a hotel but more like a motel, toilet paper had to be asked for because room service was like once every 2 days. Room barely had an electric kettle but no cups, you have to go to the lobby where there are paper cups and complimentary tea.

Размещение отеля отличное и состояние номеров также хорошое. Номера чистые, но немного маленькие. это не проблема, так как в номер мы приходили только переночевать.

Only one thing, The stairs... 😢. No elevator to take your lagguage so you have to take them all the way up to your room, staff will help of course. But thats annoying to reach your room by stairs only.

Кровати большие, комната хорошая

То что ресепшен в одном месте, номера в другом месте. И где номера нет лифта, на 4 этаж ночью тащили 3 чемодана по 20 кг. Ночью не могли понять где ресепшен, где сам отель. Водитель трансфера и ресепшионист другого отеля помогли и нашли всё. Не понравилось что в номере нет элементарного чайника, чтобы попить чай надо идти в ресепшен, и там себе наливать в стакан. В номерах чайника нет, щетки, зубной пасты нет, чашек тоже нет.

Hotelul are 3 locatii, 2 dintre ele arata ca dupa razboi, nu stii unde poti nimerii, am cerut sa fim cazati in locatia principala dar si aceasta arata destul de rau, totul neingrijit, pereti murdari, miros urat in baie, tantari la greu geamurile nu au plase si surpriza personalul ne-a pagubit de cateva lucruri personale, atentie daca intra in camera

Отличный маленький и уютный отель в самом центре Султанахмета — до Голубой мечети несколько минут пешком! Рядом много кафе, магазинчиков и небольшой базарчик с сувенирами и вкусняшками. Номер на троих был комфортным, две большие кровати, хороший санузел, всё работало исправно. Отдельное спасибо Нодиру — очень доброжелательный и отзывчивый человек, всегда был на связи и помогал с любыми просьбами. Завтраков нет, но рядом огромный выбор кафе. С удовольствием рекомендую этот отель и обязательно вернулась бы сюда снова!

Жаль не было завтраков. Поел и ушел гулять.🤗

Location is a big big plus for Hagua sofia, blue mosque and Topkapi palace as well as Grand Bazar. We took family room with 3 single beds and one double, room size was a bit smaller for the number of people it can accommodate. Staff was very supportive and nice.

Очень чисто, редко в номерах встретишь такую чистоту, даже пылинки нигде не было. Вид из окна на Аю Софию, но к сожалению она на реставрации. Очень хороший персонал, отзывчивый. В номере не было фена, организовали нам его за 15 минут!

Напишу про некоторые недостатки, отдыху они не помешали, но всё же. Мы заселились поздно, после 12 ночи. В номере не было ни бутылочки воды. Пришлось ночью идти искать магазины. Есть чайник, но нет ни одного стакана или чашки откуда пить. Мини холодильник уже совсем не холодит, кондиционер даже на 16 градусах почти не охлаждал.

The location is ideal and very close to many attractions, the rooms were big enough to accommodate us, my family of four, I loved the idea that the double rooms had one entrance, the toilets were clean. Nadir at the reception was very kind and ready to help at any time. I will definitely be back anytime I am visiting Turkey again. Thank you Nadir and your team.

It was fine for our 1 night stay . Clean, bathroom was nice and the room was clean.

Bedsheets were super thin but I didn’t really ask them to change this but they might have done.

Хотела е на пешеходно разстояние от центъра, за нас това беше важно удобство, т.к. бяхме с дете с количка. В периода на нашия престой имаше ремонт непосредствено срещу хотела и сутрин чувахме машините, но през останалото време беше много тихо и спокойно. Бяхме в стаи с по 2 спални, което също беше важно за нас

Нужно беше да им напомням да минат през стаите, за да сменят кърпите и тоалетните принадлежности. При резервирани стаи за по-дълъг период от време, смятам че е нужно персонала сам да си напомня за тези си задължения.

Not clean.. stained sheets and towels. Smoking smell inside room, barely able to breathe. Room door wasn’t locking and we were told it’s our fault since we don’t know how to operate the door and not to worry abt since it’s “safe”. Next day we proofed them that the door is not locking and the called a locksmith to repair it and even then they couldn’t fix it and offered a room update… which ended up with exchanging the whole lock system on the door after all and we continued writhing that room. No phones inside rooms to contact reception. Mold in bathroom ceiling. Fridge was inside a closet and it created to much heat that it was heating up everything we put on top of it. We had to throw most candies and other stuff away… no elevator

Очень рада, что выбрала именно эту гостиницу! Выбирала по отзывам и ни капли не пожалела — всё оказалось правдой. Персонал просто замечательный: ребята помогали по любым вопросам, даже тем, что вообще не касались проживания. В номере всегда было чисто, уборка проводилась раз в два дня, что очень удобно. Расположение — огромный плюс, всё самое важное (Айя-София, Голубая мечеть и т.д.) в пешей доступности. Для меня минусов не нашлось совсем. Остались только самые приятные впечатления, в следующий раз обязательно остановимся здесь снова!

Shuttle service arrangement was very easy. Location is awesome close to everything.

We appreciate the receptionist who stayed late night and completed our check-in steps, but unfortunately she was not able to directly communicate in English which was a bit confusing to us for such a great hotel. Also I did not like paying for transfers in cash as I had to drop by a currency exchange shop to pay for that.

Am avut o experiență foarte plăcută la The Empress Theodora Hotel ||. Gazda a fost extrem de amabilă și promptă la orice solicitare, iar comunicarea cu proprietarul a fost excelentă pe tot parcursul șederii. Ne-a făcut să ne simțim bineveniți și s-a asigurat că avem tot ce ne trebuie. Camera a fost curată, iar atmosfera foarte plăcută. Recomand cu încredere acest hotel tuturor celor care își doresc o ședere confortabilă în Istanbul!

The stuff was absolutely amazing, so helpful and open. Not really far from the city center but not right in the middle of most visited touristic places. We liked the facilities, super cozy and clean place.

It was freezing in the room we couldn’t make it any warmer.

Уже второй раз в этом отеле, очень нравится! Месторасположение очень хорошее, рядом с Айя-София, 2 минуты ходьбы до самых главных достопримечательностей. Терраса с видом на Голубую мечеть. Отель чистый, есть всё необходимое. Приветливый персонал, есть русскоговорящие.

Very unprofessional experience, poor hygiene, and a terrible attitude towards guests. I do not recommend this place. The room was dirty, the bed sheets were unwashed, and even the towels were dirty. Instead of apologizing and resolving the issue properly, they first told us to pay €120 and leave the hotel, and later, after speaking with the owner, they told us to pay the full amount and leave if we “didn’t like it.” Only after an argument did the owner of the neighboring hotel step in, provide us with clean bed sheets, and the room was finally cleaned. We also ended up without breakfast. The biggest issue is that during the booking process it is not clearly stated that, if there is no availability in the main hotel, guests are moved to another building that is more like a hostel and not at the same location. This can only be noticed later in the confirmation email, written in small print, where it states that breakfast is not included and certain cancellation conditions apply.

Best localization in Istanbul. Terrace with a marvelous view of Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and the Bosphorus. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and modern rooms. Definite recommend!

Расположение отеля. Доброжелательность персонала. Хотя в отеле заявлено, что говорят по-русски, но это пару фраз, но желание понять и помочь было большое и переводчик выручал.

Номер на 4 этаже, крутая лестница. Рекомендую уточнять заранее на каком этаже находится номер, для пожилых людей очень актуально.

La ubicación es muy buena.

No hay ascensor. No limpian las habitaciones si no lo pides. No reponen papel higiénico, gel de ducha, champú. El edificio no tiene recepción. La puerta principal siempre está abierta y no hay vigilancia alguna. En general, las habitaciones no tienen un nivel aceptable de confort.

I strongly do not recommend this hotel. The room was completely different from the photos - I had to argue and escalate the issue just to get the room I originally booked. It was very cold, the room was not heated at all. The reception staff tried to mislead me several times

My friends and I stayed at this hotel this month. It's very nice, centrally located, close to the Hagia Sophia Mosque, a tram stop, and many other amenities. I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms were clean and had a sea view. The staff was friendly. Mr. Faruk was especially helpful in solving all our vacation-related questions. I highly recommend this hotel; you won't regret it.

The view from the balcony was really good.

The room size didn't justify the price, the wires were visible beneath the a.c/heater and very noisy electric sound could be heard, also the drainage system was bad in the toilet because the water kept coming out of the toilet door while shower and it took them 2 days to fix this Lastly, the room was super scary, weird sounds of ceiling kept coming. Not satisfied at all !!!
