The room is spacious and has everything needed for a quick stay. There aren't many restaurants nearby, the hotel has a common area with an amazing sunset view. The bed is a bit hard for me, but that is just my opinion.

The bathroom curtain needs to be replaced or cleaned.

Nice quiet communal area on each floor.

Good location, comfortable bed. Very quick to respond on WhatsApp if nobody is about.

Shower head didn’t work, sprayed water out the top and sides. Made do with it for the couple nights we were there.

Ci hanno cambiato la camera dopo il primo giorno e ambedue i bagni, comunicanti con la camera, erano completamente privi di aerazione. La camera dell' ultimo piano ha il soffitto alto solo 1.60 metri!!!

Lovely lady, sorry I didn't get her name, very clean room, bed reasonable, close to restaurants and river.

The place looks good, but our room (double) was very cramped. I was disappointed to find there was no kettle or way to boil water on the premises. It was chilly and raining (no one's fault!) so it would have been nice to make a hot drink. The place is unattended after around 7pm.

De kamer die we kregen stond nergens op de foto’s. Leek een boxhotel. Was een suikerklontje groot, stonk, gyproc muur tussen de kamers en hield geluid van de karaoke bar aan de overkant van de straat niet tegen. Je kreeg wel een handdoek, al rook deze niet fris. Badkamer was gedeeld en had 2 douches waarvan 1 niet werkte, waren beiden niet heel proper. Gemeenschappelijke ruimte had geen keukengerei, geen wasbak. Zou hier nooit meer terugkomen.

Large comfortable bedroom with balcony. Great location just on the main street and still quiet. Very good value for money. Perfect break before crossing into Laos, especially because the town has a lovely riverfront to have food and drinks at.

There was a water pump going on at intervals that was quite noisy and deserves to be looked at.

Convenient location for the boarder crossing.

We had what was a pent house room on the roof of the building because we wanted a private bathroom. I completely didn’t notice the warning of the ceiling height of only 1.4 meters. Obviously you couldn’t stand up at all . And the bathroom was out side under a makeshift hut with a roof. The wort part of all is you have to climb 10 flights of very steep stairs and a final metal spiral staircase. And my point is we had 2 suitcases. It was painful. Especially needs a warning . NO LIFT and if you’re in your late 60s ( and I feel fairly fit ) don’t book that room .

Nice big comfy bed, lovely views across the river

The space was a little run down in comparison to the pictures, the shower fitting was broken so you needed to hold the shower head to wash. It’s a nice place but you could probably get more for your money in the same area

Great room. Private bathroom was worth the money. Location was super convenient to walk around Chiang Khong.

It would have been nice to have someone at the front desk when I arrived, but the host was responsive on WhatsApp, so it did not take too long to check in.

Good location for the night. Room was spacious. Nice balcony over looking the mekong river. Bed was clean and comfortable.

The shower curtain was covered in black mould. The shower pressure was very low and the water not very warm. Ants crawling over the desk and sofa.

mattrass was a bit hard and our room had no window which made it quite isolated.

The top floor room matched the pictures, and we loved our view. It was a large, comfortable room. The woman at the front desk was very kind and helpful, carrying our heavy bag all the way up. There were lots of spaces to sit and enjoy the town, and it was located close to a night market. There was also a riverfront path not too far away. They ordered us a taxi to the border.

The Wifi was not strong enough to stream TV. The bar across the street had loud karaoke until midnight. There were Christian writings all over the walls, which I think is appropriate for a church, not a hotel. It is a very nice hotel overall.

The first room we were put into had a big crack in the exterior wall which rain leaked through and got our stuff wet. Staff reacted very promptly and we were quickly upgraded to a different room.

The location is good and the room is good for one night.

Many ants in my room, stuff tried so remove them, but they were will everywhere. No stuff at the reception when I arrived, also not available for questions, only via whatsapp English questions are possible. Café downstairs is closed. They told me a taxi in the morning to the bus station would be no problem, there would be some on the street at this time. Actually there as no signal single taxi, so I had to wait all all the way with heavy luggage. I think for this money should be a better service and less ants.

Bed is essentially a mattress on the ground (which isn’t very clear from the photos) but is comfy enough The rooms are in a corridor and there is just a sliding door into each room - reminded me of capsule hostels as the walls are very thin

Very clean room and lovely comfy bed. Nice outside terrace area. Close to restaurants and supermarkets and a lovely riverside walk along the Mekong. The bus station was a 10/15 minute walk away. Fine for an overnight stay on your way through from the border.

Only saw one person at the hotel - the receptionist who checked me in. Next morning there was no-one there. I left at 11.30 am without seeing a soul. This didn't matter as I was given a gate key but I had hoped for coffee from the coffee bar.

No window. Bed not raised so very low. Toilet wouldn’t flush and no water for shower. No availability for coffee in morning. Perhaps no water was caused by a problem

We really loved having a dining room and a living room. There was also a really nice coffee shop across the street. And laundry facility in front of our hotel. Loved it.

Very spacious and nice private room, the room is very clean and big however very quiet town and don’t expect to do much as restaurants close around 9:30pm and they open 1pm ish

It was Amazing I have no complaints apart from the air-con because it felt like it was blowing anything out

- great building - close to shops and bar along small strip - very comfy bed - nice and clean - separate bathroom which was great - plenty of space - lots of plugs and different lights - had a great nights sleep - staff very helpful - helped us cancel one night as we booked 2 then changed our minds - cafe looks very nice - you can book the slow-boat through them if needed and not found another deal elsewhere

- could hear the bar nearby - didn’t affect our sleep though - people have mentioned about no staff being about - I messaged the property a rough time we would be there. Staff were upstairs so I messaged them to say that we were there and they messaged straight away and they came down

Great easy location for staying before the border. The private room we stayed in was lovely, felt modern and had nice lighting which is a rare find! Only a quick stay but was just right.

It’s in a good location with restaurants and stores within walking distance. It’s located in the heart of Chiang Khong city. The beds were very comfortable, and the shower had strong water pressure and was hot. Although the staff wasn’t there to greet us when we arrived, we rang the bell as the sign said, and she came right away. She was very helpful and helped us immensely. It was a good value for the money. I would stay here again.

The only negative thing about it is that the walls are thin and you can hear everything that everyone else is doing. Because we didn’t come during a high tourist season, our group was the only group there, so this wasn’t an issue, but if there were other people and groups staying there at the same time, it probably wouldn’t be very quiet, but it’s comfortable and a great price.

Comfortable room (small but ok for one night). Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff and owner. Nice common room. Laundromat next to the hotel. Very nice Pad Thai restaurant close by. Perfect for one night.

It stated that credit card payments are accepted on Booking.com but they are not anymore (Dec 22). We had to withdraw some money at the last minute.

Great place to spend one or two nights before heading on to Loas.

About the front gate my husband hit it when it closed at night they should fix the front gate

Clean, modern room. We've booked the standard but with an ensuite bathroom. It was on the same floor as the rooms with shared bathrooms. The latter is indeed close to the room. There is a laundry below and the lady is super friendly!!

The room has no window but the door is a kind of window. It could be noisy if there are a lot of guests.

Hard to rate for us. Rims at pretty nice but not as good as other places we've stayed. Common areas are great and we had a private bathroom which was nice. Close to great food and perry close to where the bus from chiang rai drops you off. Rooms are adequate and for the price, I give it 4 stars. There are a lot of stairs but you should know that from the pictures.
