Skyline Guesthouse Newquay

Sehr schön eingerichtete B&B in toller Lage mit wunderbaren Gastgebern . Wir hatten alles was wir brauchten um uns wohl zu fühlen. Bei allen Fragen wurde uns direkt geholfen und mehr als man erwarten würde. Einfach schön !

Excellent location, very close to the beach. Lovely hosts who gave us lots of suggestions on where to visit or dine. Breakfast options were great and didn't disappoint .

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und hatte eine gute Lage. Unser Zimmer war angenehm groß, da wir aufgrund unseres viertägigen Aufenthalts sogar ein Upgrade auf ein Dreibettzimmer erhalten hatten. Es war mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das im Preis enthaltene Frühstück: Es standen fünf verschiedene Varianten zur Auswahl, die alle wirklich sehr lecker waren. Die Besitzer waren ausgesprochen herzlich, haben sich viel Mühe gegeben und uns außerdem tolle Tipps für Ausflüge und Sehenswürdigkeiten gegeben.

Der Wasserstrahl der elektrischen Dusche war leider extrem schwach, was beim Duschen etwas mühsam war. Die Zimmer sind mit Teppichboden ausgestattet, was wir persönlich nicht besonders hygienisch finden – das ist aber sicherlich Geschmackssache. Während unseres viertägigen Aufenthalts wurde das Zimmer außerdem nicht gereinigt, das Bett nicht gemacht und die Handtücher nicht gewechselt. Aber das scheint wohl üblich zu sein in bed and breakfasts in Cornwall. Hier wäre etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit beim Zimmerservice wünschenswert gewesen.

Great accomodation! Nice location in the quiet area. Close distance to beaches, shops and restaurants. Fantastic owners, very welcoming and caring! Yummy breakfasts, useful tips on where to go and what to see. All needed stuff available. We were feeling well looked after. Thank you!!!! Ps. We wish we will be able to come back!

Due to extremely hot tempratures the room was getting very hot. You need to be ready for that in such summer. Owners do their best to help with fans and aircon.

Great hospitality, Agnes and Ghani, were very welcoming. They could not do enough for us. It was a great place to stay, we felt sad to leave and I would recommend Skyline B&B for your visit to Newquay.

Agnes the host was lovely & the location was perfect for the wedding we went to on Lusty Glaze beach.

My adult daughter slept on the sofabed which she said wasn't very comfy. Think ok for kids.

Both twin beds in #8 are past their prime unless you like soft and saggy in the middle so sleep was difficult.

Perfect place for a short break in Newquay. Easy walk to the seafront/centre and many beaches close by. Good starting point for day trips also. The people were wonderful and the breakfasts were a work of art. As much as I've tried I simply cannot poach an egg as well as the ones I had for breakfast each day.

All fine, no complaints. Parking area was busy but well handled by the owners.

Agnes and her husband are absolutely adorable hosts, always happy to help or to give advice for activities or places to go. They really go the extra mile for you. Breakfast was really good and there is a bus stop almost right in front to get into town. The place was nice and quiet

Very warm welcome, received a text to say the room was ready earlier than planned. Really couldn't do enough to help us feel comfortable & settled We was a group of 2 adults & 1 child & the room was plenty big enough & the shower could've easily fitted all 3 of us at the same time!!!! And the shower was lovely & powerful.

Our experience was great. The hosts were lovely, and the room was finished to a good standard. The twin beds were super comfortable, although if you’re taller than 5ft 8in, your feet may hang off the end of the bed. Breakfast was excellent and kept us full until dinner. The location is also ideal, with beaches and the town centre both within easy walking distance. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, we’d stay again and happily recommend it.

The bathroom is cosy, not much room to move around but you’re provided with facilities such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash and towels.

The room ws very old, and full of dust and cobwebs. Clearly hadn't had a deep clean in a while. The bathroom was very small and the sink was tiny. Unable to wash your face without soaking the floor. You also had to really fight with the main door in order to get it in position to lock. I did not specifically pick the Anex room, but that was the room given after paying as it was the last one. I would not have made the booking if I knew that. Also excuse of it having cooking facility, the Breakfast was not included in the price, as the rooms in the main house were, even thought they were the same price.

Skyline guest house is in a great location, rooms are a great size and very comfortable. Variation of breakfast to choose from each morning, and owners were amazing, very friendly, always happy to help. I would deffinitly stay there again

Skyline guesthouse is excellent and exceptional - beautiful inside and out, gorgeous decor, very clean and tidy and got a lovely welcoming aura. Flowers are always on displays and it smells beautifully.

Die Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich und freundlich. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und liebevoll zubereitet. Wir durften sogar ein Bodyboard für meinen Sohn für den Tag am Strand ausleihen. Vielen Dank! Tolle Lage nahe dem Strand und den Restaurants und es gab immer gekühltes Wasser zum Trinken. Bei der Hitze super angenehm!

Die Gastgeber haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen, uns tolle Tipps für Spaziergänge und Restaurants gegeben. Das Frühstück war für englische Verhältnisse einzigartig. Die Zimmer individuell und hübsch eingerichtet, tolle Ausstattung mit Klimaanlage und tollem Bad.

The little annexe in the back garden was perfect. Clean & comfortable with lots of wardrobe, cupboard & storage space. The kitchen area has everything needed to self cater, although we had breakfast one morning. The hosts, Agnes & her husband were very friendly & helpful. I would definitely recommend The Skyline & would happily book again.

Overall, my partner and I had a great stay at this guest house. The host couple were very welcoming and positive people. The place was very tidy, and the breakfast was perfect in quantity and quality.

The hosts at Skyline are exceptional, really friendly and attentive, nothing too much trouble and we had some lovely chats. The room itself was really lovely, well appointed, decoration tasteful and well chosen furniture. Very clean and lovely extra attention to details.

We stayed in the Annex Garden Room which was lovely and quiet, I was worried it might be a bit hot as we stayed during a UK heatwave, but it was nice and cool, tastefully decorated to promote a calm and peaceful place, self catering facilities as well as shower room, water pressure etc all good. Bed was comfortable and plenty of wardrobe and drawer storage. We had breakfast in the main house on the first morning, pre-ordered, which was cooked fresh and fabulous. The hosts of Skyline go the extra mile, are very generous with their time and treat everyone as long lost friends, always have lots of suggestions if you are looking for local insight. The location is perfect for walking to the beaches and Newquay town centre. On site parking available.

We had such a lovely stay at the Skyline guest house. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, the guest house had a personal feel. We enjoyed the breakfast it was delicious. We stayed in room 1 and it was beautiful, the beds were really comfortable. 2 lovely nights here. Thank you Agnes and Ghani.

Agnes and Ghani were wonderful host,very friendly,helpful and nothing was to much trouble. I stayed in the annexe,and it was beautiful and all self contained.It was lovely decorated,and the bed was so comfortable Beautiful garden and loved seeing and hearing the birds. Close enough to the centre to be easy to reach far enough away to not be bothered by late night revellers. Little touches that made you feel very comfortable. Great hosts who bent over backwards to make sure you were comfortable.

The location is a bit of a walk out of the centre of Newquay but very close to Lusty Glaze and Porth beaches. Its not really a dislike, just something to consider, especially if you're heading into town for the evening - may need a taxi (or Beryl bike!). We'd definitely stay again.

A very warm welcome from the owners, Agnes and Danny with good advice about local facilities. Free parking. Nice room and excellent breakfast with a good range of choices. Easy twenty minute walk to shopping centre and beaches.

Out of season in Newquay (April 15 to 17) many bars and restaurants were either closed or with limited opening times. In season parking would be a headache. Mobility would be difficult for some to access the beaches.

Really welcoming and informative hosts. Amazing quiet location but walking distance into city center. Beach very nearby as well. Amazing breakfast and lovely clean room. Incredibly good value. They even had a place out the back to securely store surf boards and wetsuits. Will definitely be coming back again and recommending to others.
