Loved all of it

The stay was generally okay, but there were a few things that could be improved. There was only one air conditioner available for three rooms, which made it a bit uncomfortable. There was also a slight unpleasant smell in the rooms. The refrigerator was turned off when we arrived, which unfortunately allowed some ants to gather inside. Overall, the cleanliness could be improved.

Location was great, only a short walk to both dikwella beach and the main Hiriketiya beach town. Owners were lovely and accommodating. Nice and quiet at night.

Great location. Kitchen access and clean rooms.

Property needs a lot of maintenance. Balcony railing was flimsy and somebody standing on it could easily fall down. Very unsafe. Toilet seat was broken in our room. Kitchen provided on our floor was not cleaned. Though they arranged ground floor kitchen to us. When we needed. But it was a hastle to move to ground floor from 2nd. Toiletries were not provided.

The room with AC was really nice. The host was very accommodating and friendly. I like that there was a washing machine available in the apartment. It was a short distance to the quiet beach.

Good sized rooms in a great location. Having a washing machine was very useful.

Cockroaches in the bathroom

We had rats in the house that ate through some of our bags and electronics and food. Owner told us he was going to pay for dammages but once we told the amount of dammages offered us a 1 night stay discount instead. They pressured us by hiding one of our bags and threatened us to call the police

The location was great, really close to everything you need but not too near the main busy road that you're hearing the traffic all the time. Great facilities, we loved the free washing machine, communal kitchen and spacious room. Very basic but for the price it was well worth the stay!

Dark room with limited daylight and a kitchen which was a bit dirty and outdated- for the price ind that area it’s easy to find better options

The host was so nice and helpful. Location was fantastic - so close to the beach but in a quiet part of town within easy reach of the bus station and local restaurants. We couldn't fault our stay at all!

The initial room we booked didn't have AC which I hadn't noticed. Thankfully, a room upgrade was available so we paid extra for this which we were grateful for as it was so hot!

It was an beautiful apartment with AC, Mosquito net and warm water. There was an shared kitchen and breakfast available. You can easily reach the beautiful beach in just a few minutes. The host was very gentil

Location and staff are great!

Location perfect- directly between hiriketiya and dickwella beach. Walking distance to a low fee ATM, and plenty of shops and bakeries. The shared kitchen was clean and well stocked . Actually had a view of the sunset a little as we were top floor . I extended my stay here, the manager is very kind too.

Great location, clean. The manager was great and could not do enough to help! He helped us plan trip, always checking we had all we needed without being intrusive. Always contactable. Location was perfect, just opposite Dickwella beach which was beautiful and much quieter than Hiri. Short walk to Hiri beach and 2 min Tuk Tuk to turtle beach which was also stunning. We stayed here for 11 nights and loved it!

The host of this place is just a legend, even at 12.30 at night a managed to help us out … what ever request we’ve had on our 6 days stay, he tried to manage them all. Thanks again

We had a clean, air conned room which was lovely to stay in. It’s in a good location, only a 5 min walk to the beach and all the cafes along the road. There are shops 2 mins down the road to top up on essentials. The staff were also great, recommending beaches to visit and helped us organise transport to our next location. We recommend this stay.

Initially my partner and I were looking at properties closer to Hirikiteya beach however, we are so glad we chose to stay at Villa Fiorita instead. Villa Fiorita was set back from a main road which was quiet and the perfect location. It was only a few minutes walk to Cargills (supermarket) and from Bank of Ceylon for withdrawing money. It was only a five minute walk to Dickwella beach - which was our favourite beach compared to Hirikteya beach which is a further 10 minute walk. Dickwella beach was much less crowded with barely anyone there with us witnessing the best sunsets we had seen in Sri Lanka. It was literal heaven. The property was an entire apartment to yourself with a large living space, good sized bedroom that had A/C and was very clean. We couldn't believe how much you actually got being extremely good value for money, especially compared to the prices of properties near Hirikiteya beach. We used the washing machine also. We would recommend anyone looking at Hirikiteya to stay at this property as it is everything you will need and more. The host also helped us for the next part of our travel by taking us in his tuk tuk to the bus stand and waiting with us until the correct bus came and helped us aboard. We just want to say thank you to the host.

This villa is situated conveniently for Dikwella town centre. Both Dikwella beach and Hiriketiya beach are only a short walk away. Check-in was relaxed and efficient, Kausha, the host/manager speaks good English, knows his job well and works hard to make your stay a pleasant one. The apartments are spacious and clean. I was in the ground floor apartment which appeared to be a bit gloomier than those on the first floor but, understandably, in tropical countries buildings are designed to keep the direct sunlight out. The bedroom had a/c and the living area had a ceiling fan for a bit of comfort during the day. There were plenty of chairs and sofas in the lounge area. The kitchen was adequately equipped, enough pots/pans and utensils to get by. The third floor of the building is currently unused and Kausha very kindly allowed me to use the large empty space for some calisthenics exercise sessions. For those practicing yoga or pilates it would suit too. Both of the staff on-site were friendly and very helpful. This is a very good budget accommodation option.

We were a group of 3 hoping to use the sofa bed but when we arrived and he pulled the bed out it clearly hadn’t been used for years and was absolutely filthy so couldn’t use it.

Beautiful whole apartment to yourself, full kitchen, washing machine excellent facilities. The bedrooms are so lovely and the beds are super comfy! Huge fans in every room and lovely sofa with table and chairs. This was a lovely place for us all to stay where we could have our own place between friends. Just off the main road but we couldn’t hear the vehicles at all. Close to everything and has scooter parking inside the gate. Loved it.

It was a really nice stay there. The location is perfect, you have the Dickwella Beach just across the street, but you can also walk easily to the Hiriketiya beach. The room is very nice and everything was very clean. The kitchen facilities and washing machine are also very nice! The host was very friendly and helped me out for a medical issue. Thanks again! :)

Nice patio and garden, you can use the kitchen.

Ants in the bathroom, a lot of flies during the day and a lot of mosquitoes during the night. It’s nobody’s fault but it was very annoying. Guy cleaning the garden in front of our room at 6 in the morning every day and super loud. Way too warm inside the room.

The place was modern and extremely clean. It was less than 100 steps to the beach. The use of the kitchen facilities including the washing machine was fantastic. The staff couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. One of the best places we have stayed in Sri Lanka....and we've stayed at a lot.

There was nothing we didn't like. If we come back we'll certainly be staying here.

Shops are close by, the beach is close by and beautiful. Hiri beach, shops, restaurants are only 15 min walk away.

The room was big and clean. I stayed on the ground floor in a triple room. The small bed was comfy with the net and the A/C. There is a small kitchen, refrigerator, washing machine, tv and kettle. The location is super. It's close to the Bank ,Dickwella beach ( 3mins. walking) , the market, bus stand. Walk to Hiriketiya beach for about 15 mins. Also the staff was very nice and friendly.

The Hotel is selling rooms under this name and brings you to another Hotel, namly Mount House Hotel appartments! This is misseling and you will not get what you have booked! Instead of three stars latly renovated hotel you get an old two star hotel which is much farer from the beach! please avoid these gangsters

Fan very noisy. Checked same in other rooms. Very warm...couldn't sleep with it on couldn't sleep with it off. Kitchen arra outside our door so woken by others. Cockroach in bathroom.
