Staff friendly and helpful. Clean, and good facilities for price range. Food good quality for reasonable price.

No particular things that could be better for the price.

Very enjoyable stay. The staff were friendly, helpful and communicative. The room was overlooking the car park, but that was a plus point as we were able to keep an eye on the car. The car park was behind the hotel itself, both in one way streets so if you navigate to "The Parade" you will find it easily. A comfortable, well equipped room with en suite bathroom. A very generous breakfast, beautifully cooked with lots of options. The food in the restaurant at dinner was equally good too. The hotel is conveniently located for visits to Tenby and Saundersfoot

A few minor gripes. The television called itself a Smart TV, but there were no Apps available and the Freeview channels had several missing, including the one we always watch! On the first night, the pub a couple of doors away had a live band in the evening, pounding away until nearly midnight, making sleep impossible. The room had a small fridge, but it didn't get very cold! Upon entering the building from the car park, the stairway up to room 24 etc. was very poorly lit by LED lighting that was just not bright enough and was a bit of a hazard, especially if you have just come in from bright sunlight outside and your eyes haven't adjusted yet.

Excellent location, very clean, plenty of breakfast choice and plenty of breakfast. Room was an adequate size with lots of wardrobe space and an excellent shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful except for below.

A comment/complaint was initially dismissed by a member of staff, but subsequently dealt with professionally to my satisfaction.

The location is really good. The bed was comfortable and, considering the room was ground floor next to the main walkway to and from the car park, it was pleasantly quiet.

I know it's called a 'budget' room, but it really was. There was nowhere to hang damp towels and the en suite was cramped.

The breakfast was excellent.

Getting to the room was surreal.

Very nice location, and very nice rooms. The breakfast was very good. Free parking is included. 100 m to the Castle and 350 m. to very good dinner place "Watermans Arms" which gets 10 points.

Located in the middle of the main street with parking was a god send. Staff were very helpful and polite at all times.

Close proximity to pembroke castle and 15 minutes away from numerous beaches. Staff very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness was good and cleaners were friendly.

Room was a bit hot but fan in room made it satisfactory. Parking a bit tight for larger vehicles.

The King'S Arms sits on the Main Street of Pembroke and is perfectly situated to allow you to explore the town, its history and the stunning Norman Castle that sit a few hundred yards from the hotel. Parking is easy, the breakfast is excellent and it is an excellent base to explore the beauty of South Pembrokeshire. and its wonderful beaches. Don't expect a flashy modern place to stay. This is a comfortable, well run hotel with character and excellent staff.

Staff were very friendly, the breakfast was excellent, the location was perfect for us.

Corridors where dated it's an old building but it wouldn't hurt to make it look better. The bathroom is dated the bath is very high to step in and out of and is slippery when wet also the shower was very weak. I think £280 for 2 nights is overpriced for this hotel.

Iconic Pembroke hotel, a bit tired but still charming, comfortable and clean with an excellent restaurant and bar.

Excellent position, great rooms, car parking, fabulous food!

The staff were great, very friendly and kind. The little courtyard was lovely, fabulous lillies.

Clean, beautiful double room. Good breakfast, staff were friendly and helpful. Ed at reception was lovely, even lent me a phone charger when I forgot to take mine. Good parking, place is central to amenities.

Has to keep repeating order for breakfast on second day as staff forgetful, was delayed but was still good overall.

The room was very comfortable and having a bath was a plus for my wife as she struggles with her balance. The staff were welcoming and friendly and were always on hand to help if needed. Great location too.

Really nice quaint hotel just across from the castle (less than 5 min walk). Really good value for money, as breakfast is included. I had dinner every night there too and while it's not super economical, it's really worth it. Really fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked.

If anything, the bed was not really comfortable, definitely needs changing.

A wonderful heritage inn with spacious, quiet rooms. Clean and spacious bathroom. Check in was easy, parking at the back a great bonus. Breakfast was prepared fresh to order. Dinner in restaurant was awesome. Highly recommend.

Hotel is very old, full of nice antique furniture, pictures, pots and plates. Almost like you live in museum.

The staff make this place. Location wise it is not only perfect for my work, but also I'm sure tourists would find it's location good too. Off road secluded parking is a real bonus.

It was a heatwave and there is no A/C Having the window open meant that people in the courtyard watching youtube on their phones loudly was quite disturbing The restaurant was fully booked up on my third night, meaning I had to go elsewhere to eat.

Breakfast was impeckable. I also had dinner at the hotel the night before. I went with the recommondations from the chef and had a lovely three course meal with local welsh beer.

Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Room clean. Bathroom very clean with good shower.

Bed was rather small and probably due to be replaced.

Value for money. Excellent food, be mindful that the portion sizes are generous, although this was very welcome after a long day walking the coast path. We stayed two nights and the mattress was hard. I asked housekeeping if they could put a topper on and they kindly obliged. Plus extra soft pillows. Thank you.

Unfortunately the Old Kings Arms was the only place to eat. There seemed to be no other options in the area to try other restaurants.

A lovely Hotel with fabulous staff who are very friendly, hospitable, welcoming, and so helpful. Very comfortable, spacious, quiet en-suite room. Great location, just a few minutes stroll from the Castle, river, riverbank walk, shops and pubs in a lovely Town. A choice of delicious well kept real ales in the comfortable bar/lounge. There's a warren of beautifully maintained old historic sitting rooms/lounge areas throughout the Hotel, and a lovely patio to relax in the sunshine too, with umbrellas if you prefer shade. Unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to try the food. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would definitely like to visit again. Highly recommended. Excellent staff

Breakfast was served until 9am, a little early for us. Until 10am would suit us better, but it’s just our preference, and it doesn't change our opinion of this fabulous Hotel

Not sure that this building equates to the photos on Booking.com. The whole place is in need of renovation and I don’t mean up to modern standards. Our bathroom door was dirty with marks from the previous guests. Think it’s overpriced. Not sure how this pub has received the accolades it has?

Professional attitude and helpful manner of the staff, location of hotel and own car park, room and general facilities. Good value for money. A good hotel I would be happy to stay at again. Welsh breakfast.

Some of the dishes were not up to expectations, for instance, breakfast kippers were hard in parts and the cockles dish I had in the evening were not fresh and were given a 'fizzy' coating, which meant they were again, firm in texture which made it an odd combination of the dish.

Das Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sie waren alle sehr aufmerksam, haben uns Tipps und Ideen gegeben und als bei der Buchung ein Problem war sind sie aktiv auf uns zugekommen und haben eine Lösung gefunden. Auch das essen im Restaurant war fantastisch, wir haben sehr sehr gut gegessen. Deutlich besser als an vielen anderen Orten.

Hotel mit viel Geschichte. Gut ausgestattet und mit vielen Details eingerichtet. Im Innenhof sitzt man bei schönem Wetter super. Frühstück und auch das Abendessen im tollen Pub sind sehr gut. Das Haus ist ziemlich verwinkelt, so dass die Zimmer wohl unterschiedlich sind. Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer mit Erker zum Parkplatz, sehr schön. Das gesamte Personal freundlich.

The water pressure wasn't fantastic in our room, but still very much functional.

Excellent location and I received a very warm welcome. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Nice sized room and comfy bed. Very powerful shower with plenty of hot water. Good WiFi signal.

Breakfast was very nice but it would have been good to have some fresh fruit. The room especially bathroom look a little dated and maybe could do with a refurb.

Great location, really excellent food in the hotel, very clean. We opted for a larger room at the rear which was spacious and lovely in the afternoon sun. Very good breakfast. We were in the area to walk the coast path but would chose to stay here again if in the area.
