Perfection!

Bardzo przyjemny resort, czuliśmy się zaopiekowani. Mieszkanie w domkach na drzewach to bardzo ciekawe doświadczenie. Również spotkania z lokalnymi zwierzakami.

W domku z 3 łóżkami, z czego jedno na pięterko, klimatyzacja nie dała sobie rady z pięterkiem. Z tego górnego łóżka nie skorzystaliśmy by było zbyt duszno.

This is a really lovely resort with very friendly staff, the traditional Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner buffets were particularly welcome. We also got a lovely upgrade during our stay which was a great surprise.

Die Lage in mitten der Natur mit den hübschen und komfortabel Stelzenhäusern ist wunderschön. Wir hatten zusätzlich noch das Glück ein Upgrade zu bekommen und hatten ein Häuschen mit eigenem Pool. Auf unserer Reise hatten wir bisher nie wieder einen so schönen sauberen Pool mit klarem Wasser. Hier hat sich der Pool richtig gelohnt. Es gab ein abwechslungsreiches Frühstücksbuffet. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit, aber nicht aufdringlich. Wir haben in diesem Ressort zwei wundervolle Tage verbracht und können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

Sehr schöne Location

Nos alojamos solo una noche en una de las cabañas sin piscina y el resto de noches CON piscina y la recomiendo al 100%. Privacidad, entorno en plena selva, habitación amplia, cama cómoda y piscina espectacular.

Cambiamos de cabañas porque había hormigas, cosa normal al estar en un ambiente rodeado de naturaleza.

A casa na árvore faz algum barulho durante a noite, falta um espaço para a prática desportiva e, apesar de a comida ser muito saborosa, poderia haver opções mais saudáveis.

The setup with lovely tree houses, well separated from each other for a feeling of intimacy. The pool in the middle of the jungle atmosphere. Buffet style breakfast.

Tolle Unterkunft. Waren nur 1 Nacht da (Durchreise) und wären gerne länger geblieben.Hatten ein Familienzimmer mit unseren beiden erwachsenen Kindern und es war Platz genug. Unser Fahrer nach Kandy versetzte uns und innerhalb einer halben Stunde organisierte uns der Rezeptionist einen Van. Nochmals herzlichen Dank und ihr macht einen super Job. Wir kommen wieder, aber dann bleiben wir länger.

The staff were brilliant, they made everything easy for us. The accommodation is comfortable and the meals in the collective dining room are very homely.

Nous avons pris une villa privée avec Piscine.. Le Cadre est vraiment magnifique. Personnel très sympathique. Nous avons pris la formule demi-pension. Petit déjeuner et buffet au dîner vraiment très bons.

Tutto!! La location era stupenda, le casette sull' albero pulitissime accoglienti e bene organizzate. La piscina anche in tarda sera. Il cibo del buffet è stato ottimo sia a colazione sia a cena. Lo staff super gentilissimo! Ci avrei fatto più notti ma purtroppo con le tappe del tour non ho potuto.

Cité insolite des cabanes. Très proches des activités touristiques. Piscine sympa pour se rafraîchir. Bon petit déjeuner et dîner sous forme de buffet.

Cabañas muy curiosas tipo Tarzan. Buena comida. Bonito

Extraordinary place! Self contained en suite bedroom units scattered around a forested garden, most up on stilts constructed among the tree trunks.  We had a family room (one double, one single bed - very comfortable) built next to a mature tree, with a private open air bathroom for al fresco showers. Delicious meals (mostly vegetarian) are served in the open sided dining room, and there's a lovely pool for relaxing in after busy days at the cultural sights. The hotel team organised tours for us to Ritigala (the extensive ruins of an abandoned 9th century monastery in the jungle, little visited), Polannawura (large busy site - rent a bike or a tuk tuk to see the ruins), Pidurungala (0445 for the climb up to see the sun rising on Sigiriya), Sigiriya (fortress citadel ruins on top of a vast rock, less busy mid afternoon) and a terrific safari to Minneriya National Park. The hotel has a great brochure of the cultural and safari trips available, which appear to be subcontracted to Ceylon Safari to deliver.  Might be easier to go direct to avoid any ambiguities in arrangements.

The plumbing in the outdoor bathrooms is a little rudimentary, even allowing for them being outdoors. The tour vehicles mostly had no seat belts, which isn't great on journeys lasting more than an hour.

Tout était nickel, nous avions une chambre dans les arbres et une chambre avec piscine privée, les 2 étaient propres et confortables. Le cadre est magique, surtout pour regarder les étoiles la nuit ✨️ Merci au staff pour leur gentillesse.

La nourriture était assez salée pour certains plats mais dans la globalité c'était plutôt bon.

Dormir en una tree house rodeados de naturaleza fue una experiencia muy especial, sobre todo viajando con niños. El entorno es precioso, tranquilo y auténtico, y permite disfrutar de una forma diferente de esta zona de Sri Lanka. El desayuno también fue muy agradable y disfrutamos mucho del ambiente y de la tranquilidad del lugar.

La primera noche nos alojaron en una habitación que no era una tree house, con unas instalaciones algo más antiguas y menos cómodas de lo que esperábamos. Sin embargo, al comentarlo, hicieron todo lo posible por reubicarnos en una tree house y el cambio fue enorme. A partir de ese momento, nuestra estancia mejoró por completo.

Het resort is prachtig opgezet en mooi onderhouden. We zaten in een boomhut met eigen zwembad, dat was geweldig. Ze zijn nog redelijk nieuw en heel luxe. Het personeel is vriendelijk en het eten is heerlijk!

Very cool, unique hotel with the all the rooms being tree houses in a very verdant setting, kind of like a forest. The rooms were decent and clean and the bathroom was outdoors which was also very unique but be warned you may be showering with some little friendly creatures! There was a lovely pool on the property and the restaurant was decent serving buffet for breakfast and dinner. The staffas was very polite and friendly.

The availability of hot water in showers could be better!

Meget lyst i træhytterne. Morgenmaden var ikke særlig inspirerende. Fx var der ikke lokale råvarer som mango eller curd på trods af det sælges stort set lige udenfor døren.

Een privé zwembad tussen de bomen in jungle sfeer. Vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen, een klein groen paradijs. De badkamer buiten is erg aangenaam. Heerlijk buffet ontbijt & diner met Sri Lankaanse gerechten, maar aangepast naar Westerse tere maagjes. Met een tuktuk ben je met 5 min in het dorp, een mini supermarkt zit op loop afstand.

Het derde bed was erg hard.

Kleine Anlage, Personal sehr zuvorkommend, das Essen war lokal und super lecker, es gab einen Wasserfilter wo man seine Wasserflaschen jederzeit auffüllen konnte.

Alles in Ordnung.

Hele mooie plek om uitstapjes te doen in de omgeving. We kregen een upgrade naar een prachtige nieuwe hut. Zwembad was erg lekker en pracht plek

Wat een fijn hotel met super vriendelijk personeel! De kamer met private pool is echt aan te raden!! Wel oppassen voor slangen :-)

We hadden half pension genomen en dat hadden we beter niet gedaan. De kinderen, en wij zelf ook, waren er niet enthousiast over. De curry's komen na een tijdje wel een beetje de oren uit. ;-)

We zaten met ons drieën in huisje 18. Het 3e bed was slecht. Het was alsof je in het midden op een harde hout een plank lag.

Lovely jungle retreat with a good local breakfast. Nice pool, reasonably close to major sights.

Our kids love the tree house and the pool. It was built for a comfortable stay in the middle of the nature. What made it more special was the people there. The owner and the staffs are very friendly and treated us like family. The meals are delicious and plenty and they have Halal options for us. Really appreciate what they did.

Of course if your are in the middle of the nature, the nature will be around you. It is not the resort's fault. We had grasshoppers and frog visited our open to sky bathroom. I guess it is a part of the experience!

The home cooking for breakfast and dinner was so nice to try some new foods. The treehouse we stayed in with a pool was amazing and my son loved it!

The lack of fans in the dining area and the 4am cockerel (but that’s because I’m a light sleeper).

A lovely properly with lots of care taken. The new villas are fantastic!

It is a bit remote and if you don’t like noise, there is quite a bit from the trees hitting the accommodation

Dit is werkelijk een topaanrader in Habarara! Familie bedrijf dat is uitgegroeid tot een super mooi verblijf. Iedereen is zo hulpzaam en vriendelijk en staat voor u klaar. Één super lekker ontbijt en super lekker diner gemaakt door vrouw des huizes!!!

La disponibilità estrema dello staff, he ha soddisfatto ogni minima richiesta, come la cena sulla nostra casa sull'albero a bordo piscina. Ci ha aiutato ad organizzare il safari nel parco e tutti gli spostamenti. La colazione fluttuante in piscina è stata la ciliegina sulla torta!

Beautiful property, & very fun sleeping in the trees! The pool was a bonus & all the staff were very lovely & super helpful. Definitely a great place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was excellent, and the property itself was beautiful, with a lovely pool and a relaxing atmosphere. The food was fantastic, with plenty of both spicy and non-spicy options to suit everyone. The staff were very welcoming and even offered us a room upgrade, which was a nice touch. They also helped organize an elephant safari for us and arranged a great guide, making the experience truly memorable. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious, the beds were comfy, the swimming pool was a great temperature and 30 mins from lions rock. The staff were excellent at arranging transport and all round helpful throughout our stay, would definitely come again.

Be prepared for an outdoor bathroom- a really cool experience but lots of wildlife including a giant centipede so keep the door shut! This didn’t ruin our experience it added to the adventure!

What a wonderful place! We loved every aspect of our stay. The owner was incredibly generous, the property itself is beautiful, and the food was delicious with very generous portions. The staff were warm and welcoming, and highlights like breakfast in the pool made the experience even more special. The beds were very comfortable, and we enjoyed being surrounded by nature and wildlife. A special mention to the manager, who was very helpful. The list truly goes on. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

The staff were amazing and accommodating. The entire site was beautiful and the general vibe felt very authentic. It didn't feel like the resorts presence disturbed the natural environment as much as you would expect. Wild life still moved around the premises (apparently even elephants have been known to roam around there!) The rooms with the private pools is phenomenal!

It wasn't made clear how it's really not safe for toddlers. We opted for the private pool but didn't realize there would be no way to stop our toddler from getting in. Also the tree house is quite high up and the stairs didn't have a gate to stop the toddler from going down.

The set up was so unique, we loved looking out for animals from the balcony. We enjoyed the floating breakfast. The staff were very helpful.

The restaurant food wasnt hugely to our liking but there was lots of choice.

This was our favourite from all our stays in Sri Lanka! Having our own private pool was amazing and felt very special. The outdoor shower was great. The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. They brought a lovely dinner to our room one evening and we also had our breakfast in the pool one morning. Amazing! We were given complimentary drinks for no reason. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Not much going on in the immediate area of the hotel, but this is not the hotel's fault!

Es war einfach super. Wir hatten ursprünglich ein Baumhaus gebucht und wurden aber bei unserer Ankunft geupgradet. Dieses Upgrade war wirklich der Wahnsinn. Wir hatten eines der Häuser mit einem eigenen Pool. Da wir während unseres Aufenthaltes die komplette Zeit so gut wie alleine waren, war es dann auch Erholung pur. Was wir noch erwähnen müssen!! Alle Leute die hier arbeiten sind so zuvorkommend, freundlich und erfüllen einem jeden Wunsch. Es wird einem immer ein lächeln geschenkt. Das Essen war auch sehr sehr lecker und immer sehr viel😊 Der Pool wurde jeden Tag gereinigt und dementsprechend gepflegt sieht er auch aus.

Wunderschöne Anlage mit sehr viele kleine schönen Details! das Bauhaus ist sehr aufregend mit Badezimmer im Freien. Wir haben uns quasi alleine im Dschungel gefühlt. Kleiner Kinder Pool und großer Pool sind vorhanden. Sehr liebevoll gestaltet Das Essen war unglaublich gut! Frühstück wie Abendessen!! Für unsere Kinder wurde versucht nicht scharfe Alternativen zu kochen. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.

Naprosto úžasné místo pod stromy v zeleni, moje první hodnocení 10/10. Domy na stromech jsou pohádkové, sprcha pod širým nebem je úžasná, pokoj byl nádherný a čistý, bazén super čistý s hezkým sezením kolem, děti v něm byly pořád, manažer s vámi komunikuje nonstop přes whatsapp a vše na počkání zajistí od vyprání oblečení po safari a to vždy za velmi dobrou cenu. Sehnal nám i zatím nejlevnější a nejhezčí odvoz do další destinace. Snídaně i večeře jsou zde zážitkem, kdy si ochutnáte od všeho trochu. A personál je všechen neskutečně milý a ochotný.

The private pool in the treehouse was a very pleasant way to spend time and there were lots of animals during the day including two mongoose, which was lovely.

The food we were served varied between fine and bad. Towels and linen were old and I was scratched by the exposed bolts on the decking which should have been flush. Unfortunately the hotel misses the mark and doesn’t live up to the promise.

Mann hat Versuchung uns bei unseren Zimmerwünschen entgegenzukommen . Die Tiere waren ein Highlight und die Unterkunft im Zimmer mit Privatpool. Auch die organisieren Touren Villagetour und Habarana Rock haben uns gut gefallen.

Essen hätte für 4 Tage etwas abwechslungsreicher sein können. Nicht immer das selbe zum Abendessen.

We really enjoyed the entire resort. It feels a bit like living in the jungle, which makes the experience quite unique. The tree houses are about three meters above the ground and built entirely from wood. Both the shower and toilet are open to nature, so you might occasionally find yourself sharing the moment with monkeys. The pool is well maintained and fits perfectly into the jungle atmosphere. We booked a package with breakfast and dinner, and the food was good throughout our stay. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Overall, we had a great time and truly enjoyed our stay.

Since the facilities are open to nature, any shower gel, soap, or similar products flow directly into the ground when you use them.

Ein Paradies auf Erden. Mitten in der Natur. Spektakuläre Naturgeräusche und viele Tiere. Das Essen war köstlich und der Service einwandfrei. Eine klare Empfehlung! Danke an das gesamte Team!

We verbleven in een prachtige boomhut midden in een weelderige jungleomgeving. De staff was ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam, waardoor we ons meteen welkom voelden. Het zwembad is mooi en een fijne plek om af te koelen na een warme dag. Via het hotel kun je van alles regelen; wij boekten hier een olifantensafari en die was absoluut fantastisch en een hoogtepunt van ons. Al met al een prima en unieke ervaring. Voor ons was twee dagen precies goed om van de sfeer en omgeving te genieten.

De omgeving is rijk aan natuur — wat natuurlijk ook betekent dat je regelmatig dieren in en rondom je kamer tegenkomt. Dat hoort bij de ervaring, maar is wel goed om te weten als je daar minder van houdt. De buitenlucht-douche was echt geweldig en gaf een extra bijzonder junglegevoel.

It is a nice resort and the pool area is really good and relaxing.

it is close to the road - not disturbing but you hear the cars. generally the resort has come a bit into age, still nice - but given the price a little surprising.

We had a wonderful stay here. It’s a friendly place full of character, with a lovely green and relaxed feel. We stayed in the Family House for the first couple of nights and were then upgraded on our last night to one of the new villas at the back with a private pool, which was amazing. The reception team were incredibly helpful and helped us find good, safe trips at fair prices, which was especially reassuring as we were travelling with our two-year-old son. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it!

Sehr schöne Anlage.

Ein Favorit auf unserer Rundreise! Vor allem das Chalet mit eigenen Pool und freiluft Bad aber auch die Location insgesamt ist der Hammer. Frühstück und Abendessen waren super! Aus Sorge vor Elefanten dort, soll man aber möglichst um 22:30h daheim sein... wir wurden an einem Abend sogar extra unterwegs eingesammelt :) Die Ausgangslage für den Kern des Landes ist optimal.

Great place to stay for a peaceful mind

Probably the best place we’ve stayed anywhere. Gardens,pool,staff everything excellent. Probably on the higher price range for Sri Lanka but same place in Europe or Australia or USA would be triple price.Our own private pool etc amid beautiful setting.Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Habarana.

Magnifique cabane luxe dans les arbres. Tout confort avec salle de bain dans la jungle. Le lieu est vraiment magique. Piscine et espace commun a couper le souffle. Personnel toujours prêt à rendre service. Nourriture excellente (en mode buffet). Je recommande absolument. Les enfants ont adoré.
