Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Petit hôtel dans une maison typique ancienne, un peu vieillot mais très bien situé, à 4 mn à pied du Château d’Amboise et des ruelles animées, au calme. Personnel accueillant et souriant, très aimable, parking privé très appréciable, chambre petite mais fonctionnelle et propre, confortable, salle d’eau neuve, bonne literie, lit en 140cm. Climatisation dans la chambre, un vrai plus. Bon petit déjeuner. Petit bémol pour l’escalier étroit, nous avions une chambre au dernier étage, mansardée avec poutres apparentes, il faut faire attention, passage très étroit pour accéder d’un côté du lit si on est grand. Cependant nous recommandons l’hôtel pour un court séjour à Amboise.
Insonorisation à améliorer, on entend les voisins si ils parlent fort, les enfants notamment, les gens sur le pallier et le bruit des portes. Heureusement à 23h plus un bruit.

Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Abbiamo apprezzato molto la possibilità di soggiornare in una casa storica, anche se la camera ha delle dimensioni veramente ristrette è piacevole vedere le travi a vista e la parete classica a graticcio.
sarebbe necessario trovare una soluzione per la porta del bagno, magari a soffietto per evitare che ci siano incastri fra la porta del bagno e della doccia in quanto è tutto veramente stretto. per noi camera piccola e scale strette rappresentano un valore in questo tipo di residenza anche se credo non bisogna esagerare con il prezzo.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Such a charming guesthouse. We had unit 1 on the ground floor. It is a disability friendly suite which suited me perfectly as an ambulant wheelchair user. It was spacious and very comfortable. There was ample free street parking around the property. It is right on the edge of the picturesque old town which is a few minutes walk away.
A small fridge in the room would be a big improvement. There are tea and coffee making facilities but no way to keep milk in the room which is essential for my cup of tea!!

It was noisy so if you’re not an early riser be prepared for a loud awakening from the door slammers and loud speakers totally inconsiderate of other guests. There’s no soft closers on the doors! The bathroom could have been better - the sink was loose from its stand and the shower needed a deep clean If you’re not very agile, the stairs are steep and winding and having black carpet it’s not easy to see the steps

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Zu Altstadt waren es nur 3 min, zu Fuß. Das Personal war nett und hilfsbereit bereit. Wir hatten die Suite, Zimmer 1. Groß mit Badewanne und Dusche, sehr schön eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war gut und der Preis fair. Parken könnten wir auf den öffentlichen Parkplatz vor der Tür, umsonst.
Die Rezeption ist nachts nicht besetzt. Aber das ist der grösse des Hotels geschuldet

wir haben das Zimmer sehr früh gebucht. Wi haben aus meiner Sicht das schlechteste Zimmer erhalten, was es dort gibt: zum Innenhof das Fenster, Dort Laufen 8 Außeneinheiten, teilweise auf voller Leistung. Bei geöffnetem Fenster ohrenbetäubender Lärm und auch bei geschlossenem Fenster sehr laut und nervig. Als Grund für die Zuteilung des Zimmers wurde unsere Ankunftszeit genannt (ca. 18:30) Dieses Zimmer hat unseren Aufenthalt sehr getrübt, Wir werden dort nicht mehr nächtigen,

Habitación triple estrecha si abres el sofá cama para el precio que tiene. Sin ascensor. Olor a humedad en las habitaciones. Y sobre todo nos acribillado los mosquitos a la familia, tremendo lo de esta ciudad y este hotel. Y llevo 15 dias de ruta por Loira y en todos los hoteles incluyen el desayuno, aquí 12 eur x persona y 6 eur niños y lo que vi normalito tirando a malo.

Uns wurde nicht mitgeteilt, dass es in der Nähe einen abgesperrten Hotelparkplatz hat, Unser Fahrzeug blieb desshalb auf dem öffentlichen Parkplatz

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026Lady on reception has very good English. Secure parking for motorbikes and cycles is brilliant. Room was compact but adequate and was as advertised. This is a 2 star so it delivered as promised. Breakfast is a buffet style continental and was good.
Loose sand in the garage made it challenging parking the motorbike as it was slippery. Having said that, I am grateful of the secure parking.

I found it a bit expensive for a 2 stars hotel, I paid an extra charge for the dog as well (that's ok but it costs like a 4 stars hotel in total). Despite the booking was with the dog, they didn't know about it until I arrived. Breakfast room was quite small and a bit claustrophobic.

La ubicación, estupenda para llegar a cualquiera de los sitios de interés, como del centro histórico. El personal, súper atentos y amables. Me encantó estar en una casa de más de 300 años, con una restauración del edificio fantástica y fiel al origen, integrando en ella las necesidades y comodidades de ahora.
No encuentro nada negativo.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Heerlijk pand en geweldige locatie. Je loopt zo het oude centrum van Amboise in. De kamers zijn geklimatiseerd en de bedden heel goed dus ik heb geweldig geslapen. Het ontbijtbuffet is klein maar fijn.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Les chambres sont petites mais climatisées, un gros plus en cette période forte canicule. Tout était très propre et la literie était excellente. Très bon accueil des propriétaires, très gentils et sympas. Je recommande à 100%.
