Our stay at The Dusun was truly a beautiful and memorable experience. 🌿✨ Surrounded by nature, the peaceful environment gave us the perfect opportunity to relax and spend quality time together as a family. The beautiful greenery, breathtaking views and tranquil atmosphere made us feel like we were far away from the busy city life. It was a wonderful place to slow down, unwind and simply enjoy nature. Overall, we had a lovely stay and created beautiful memories together. Definitely a unique experience for families and anyone looking for a peaceful nature getaway. We would love to visit again

The Dusun is beautiful for a short nature getaway, but if you dislike insects, feel uncomfortable being isolated in a forest, or prefer modern hotel convenience, it may not be the best choice. You will see rats, insects, big lizard roaming around inside n outside ur home. But i would say that is forest life style.

Fabulous tranquil location surrounded by stunning hills and rainforest. Some houses are pet-friendly so perfect family getaway!

If you're not a nature lover, this wouldn't be for you as the location is remote and the design of most of the houses is intentionally open to the elements and creatures... Some of the furnishings look a bit worn and tired and could do with a refresh but that's part of the charm!

Nature

The location was not bad as it is quite near to Seremban city. We enjoy ourself in the chalet with nature and our dogs. Staffs was helpful and cooking utilities are ample. It is nice to cook and BBQ with family at the chalet.

The last 2km to the resort was too narrow even for one car, but it is actually a two way road! My back tire was stuck with a small log and causes my bumper to tear apart when I was forced to go to the side of the road to give way to another car from the other direction :( Lack of signages showing that it is a two way road is also a road hazard. We plan to do some hiking with our dogs in the evening but was chased by some local wild dogs instead. The stay was fun until sleeping time, it is too hot and stuffy in the room without air conditioning and we can't open the windows too as afraid of mosquitoes, insects and maybe wild animal climbing into the room. Therefore we can't sleep throughout the night.

The grounds, rooms and ambience were delightful.

As usual, it rained every afternoon. It should be arranged so that it only rains at night.

A wonderful location among nature. The way property is maintained is impressive. Everything is well organised and prepared for comfort. Didn't have any mosquitos while inside the house eventhough it's an open concept. House has a lot of items for BBQ and cooking. Plenty of towels both for shower and swimming pool. Host was wonderful and helpful as well! Will definetely come back!

One of the two swimming pools, water was a bit milky colour, but the second one was still great so not a problem.

The staff was friendly to make everything feel genuinely nice.

I suppose it is what it is, nothing not to like but more towards future upgrades that the property can look into

The whole place really beautiful. This is calm place. Relaxing mind. Absolutely recommended for those want some relaxing. Mind relief. Peaceful. I love this place.

The swimming needed to be clean. The swimming place is very beautiful and nice. But the water need to clean inside. The green long chair need to change because the pillow very old ready.

Property is very clean and well kept. Sheets and towels very clean, bed is great. Kitchen amenities are great, with water cooler. Staff are friendly.

-Air condition should be an option as the location is very warm in the afternoon and not cooling enough at night. - wifi should be provided. - the river is 10minutes drive away. 30min walking distance. - theres no restaurant around the properties. difficult to get food and drinks. - the property has a caterer (not on site) that you can order food from but only limited to certain timing, - communication with the caterer is difficult, we contacted them since 12pm worrying we might not get food when arrived, only manage to get a reply once arrived at property with property manager's help at 3.25pm due to phone line issue they experience. -preordered our breakfast the day before but it was cancelled the previous night due to kitchen electrical issue. So we were starving untill dinner time the day we arrived, and the next morning. So 2 main issues iin conclusion: -heat and food and beverage. To enjoy the property bring your own food and drinks.

The environment is nice, it's a hit refresh kind of vibe. The scenery and their pool here is super.

The room is not properly clean, and there are furniture that looks really old already, like it wasn't maintain properly. There's alot lizard poop also. As someone who have sensitive skin, I came back with alot of rashes. The receptionist is not so friendly too, does not feel like Malaysian hospitality.

Surrounded by nature and sounds

Swimming pool pump sound whole day, we do understand that The Dusan surrounded by nature by would like to suggest to add some net screen and exposed area..another issue is WiFi connection could be better..

Hygiene is great, the environment and facilities al good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Expecting open pool surrounded by tree like this will be dirty/fill with leaves but nope. Perfectly clean. They clean it first thing in the morning.

Nothing. Everything beyond my expectation

No food were prepared by the host so if you come with this mindset you will have a great stay. But you can order a day before, they have that option. I saw someone bringing coffee to the villa. I think that’s convenient and easy!

Private and tranquil

Even it is private but, since the room i booked is beside the pools, got families with kids who unable to control their kids let them screaming while swim. That is very disturbing and unacceptable

​I loved how this location seamlessly integrated with nature. The calm and peaceful ambiance, along with the lovely natural sounds, made for a perfect and very restful stay. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience, villas well integrated into the landscape. Very seculded and private, but affordable and accessible.

It was a beautiful and peaceful place to be at🤍

The Dusun was absolutely what we needed. We had been with friends in KL and needed some R and R in a quiet place away from the crowds. The Dusun was that place. We enjoyed the setting, the views, the rain, the birds and basically everything. This is our sort of heaven having lived in Borneo for many years it took us back to a place that we feel comfortable in. The pool next to the chalet was a delight. We will have to bring the grandkids here for a week.

Leaving the Dusun was difficult we will be back.

The location is incredible - on a steep hillside with sweeping views from the deck and two beautiful pools. The huts are open to the elements and so you feel like you are in the jungle with the birds, squirrels and insects (expect those inside, of course). Excellent welcome from staff, ability to order food for delivery when you don't feel like self-catering.

Housekeeping without having to request it, to empty bins and mop floor after heavy rain.

the Lanai room is what we took and the patio space was the best. We were here all the time except for sleeping.

It does get cold late at night - but i think having an aircon in the room would be better as it was really hot at 8pm-3am. For the price point - an aircon would be a great addition.

Quietness and so2 staff

Hot & humid, almost zero facilities & activities, found a frog in the room, definitely the last time. Absolutely not value for money. I'd pay RM250 per night max!

服务太差了！！！！一个老板和一个服务员看着我们拿很多箱子完全不帮忙！！！！完全没有服务，2000多一晚至少帮忙拿个箱子吧？？？？？厨房用具很烂很差，老板脾气很差，黑脸，如果不开心其实可以直接倒闭的🥰

Our host Rahman was very helpful. Helped us sort out BBQ for 2 nights and order food as well.

Access to the bungalow is not easy , up hill, and there was no help from staff to carry any of our luggages. We booked an open concept room, so we expected some jungle noise, but there was a chicken coop right under our bungalow, the rooster made loud crow all night, so we didnt sleep much, very inconsiderate, especially for the asking price

The receptionist very polite and friendly, and the stay is very chill and relaxing! Definitely will come back again.

Super nice location with a view of the jungle. Very nice staff who helped to arrange transfer to the airport. The property also allowed us to stay the whole day after checkout in the common and pool area, As our flight was late in the evening. The bungalows are very beautifully located in the jungle with great views over the countryside. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is free drinking water available. We would stay again.

Very nice stay

The lower pool was very nice. Perling House location within The Dusun is perfect. It was secluded and quiet (except when the cleaner is sweeping in the early mornings!). The pool filter was making humming sounds when we arrived but I think the staff solved the issue. It was quiet the next day. Love the architectural concept of the house and the entire property. Its definitely a place you go to read a book from start to end!

Fridge is way too small unfortunately. Perhaps they want you to patronise the restaurant which is quite expensive naturally. No mosquito net over the bed which is not good as my husband got bitten quite badly while sleeping.

Peaceful, clean and can bring you dog!

No service at all - be nice to have an honesty bar or some amenities. Just know to come well prepared with all your food and drink (home cooking option is very basic)

Just the iron isnt functioning well

Its location in the middle/by the rainforest where you can trek to the rainforest. It was a quiet property, ideal for relaxation. It has a basic kitchen for simple cooking but not much. It is enough for a weekend camp. Great view and surroundings, big trees and plants. The forest is view and backdrop of the property. There are swimming pools overlooking the valley. The female staff who connected with us on WhatsApp was responsive and helpful, organized taxi for us, gave instructions about our stay. She is super helpful.

The staff and service are basic. The male receptionist during our visit was not the most hospitable, grumpy or standoffish even, I am not sure. Almost like he was bothered when we asked for help or directions. The trail guide didn't show up, and thankfully we asked as no one told us until we showed up in the office. We arrived with things and backpacks and our hands were full, the male staff who received us showed us to the cottage, kept looking back to check but never offered to help. A simple gesture could go a long way, but totally unbothered.

The facilities, the room, the mosquito net, the cleanliness all could be better. RM700 for a room that has a broken mosquito net is not quite acceptable considering its an open concept room with lots of insects! Toilet and room looked run down and old. Understand that its a forest / outdoor vibe kinda house, but it definitely need some upgrading works. It looked like it hasnt been upgraded/ touched up over the last 20 yrs. The open concept didn't make us feel very safe at night as well, hearing all the rats running around the area didn't feel good too. Would also be nice if the staff could offer some help carrying the stuff up to the villa since there were steep steps going up.

Peace and privacy

1. Toilet is very smelly. We need to leave the door opened when showering/ toilet. 2. Everywhere is so unclean 3. Water dispenser has no water. 4. Rug is full of weird smell and can’t be removed.

Clean rooms. Kitchen utensils are provided and most importantly is clean.

The whole structure was very nice, also the pool and it’s surroundings.

Too many holes inside the structure, so since they didn’t provide any mosquitoes spray, we’ve got bitten all over the body during our sleep. Also, they’ve arranged a local taxi for ourselves and it has arrived 40 minutes later than what we were told, so we almost ended up missing our train to Kuala Lumpur because of it.

No staff to assist after office hours,very limited food options, and no staff on Wednesday. Kind of disappointing only can contact through whatsapp.Nobody recommended or guide in what kind of outdoor activities are available.

Overall it was a wonderful experience for short escape in the busy world. If you are looking for something nature, this would be the place to go to. There is a waterfall 3minutes away and hiking activity.

1. Limited food access, not many restaurants and you need to book your food in advance. 2. We stayed in tembusu, it is an open concept house, without windows. Different experience but definitely having some difficulties in sleeping 3. Since there is no entertainment including TV, u should bring your own board games or do something, else u will be stuck with your smart gadgets. 4.Internet connection can be slow at time. 5. The road up is very steep and u will need some skill

Love the villa/chalet that is open concept & overlooking the mountains/jungle view. The wooden balcony very nice for morning yoga exercises. 2 pools at the area . The management prepared the mosquitoes incense coil so we can use it at night. Very close to nature & lots of fruit trees around

Wished we can get wifi from our rooms but it is not a major problem as we can get the wifi from the cafe/restaurant area.

The host was very friendly, even to my pets!

Understand that we should be appreciating the nature, but i had a bunch of ants sneaked into my luggage and followed me home. which im very sad with it. And there was mice or mouse eaten my brand new loaf of breads, i have to eat maggie in cup for my breakfast. hahah.

We came here because it’s dog friendly! And pet friendly places are very limited in Muslim Malaysia. Location in the forest - very private and secluded. Didn’t see anyone - staff you just whatsapp and let yourself in - it’s just like camping really. We came prepared with all our food.

We ordered in local food for one night but wasn’t great! Luckily we had extra supplies! And Grab does make it this far - if you order before sunsets! Just felt it was over priced - the only reason I’d pay that price was because of the dog - no other reason!!

My husband and I had a great time relaxing at the Berembun house. The house was so nicely cleaned up upon our arrival and well decorated with fresh flowers. The hospitality was amazing. All the staff there were always smiling and greeting the guests. I was so grateful as they fulfilled my request of decorating my bed with swan towels for our anniversary celebration. I'd recommend you to order the meals from their caterer as it was so delicious and presentable.

Nothing, unless you have issue with insects in the house. Can put up a notice that the shower tap hot/cold indicator is swopped. Good to have a dish dryer rack next to sink.

The beautiful scenery surrounding our room, the privacy of our room, the quietness of the swimming pool, the kindness of the staff, waking up in the morning surrounding by beautiful landscape and the son of the birds.

The restaurant could improve on vegetarian options.
