Everything was fine, comfortable and clean, took care of all small detail. Very central

I was a bit unlucky that it was a very warm night, so I had to keep the window open. In fact, the window had very good sound proofing, but without air cooling (which I understand is difficult in such a traditional architecture) and thus open windows, the inevitable sound level was high. In normal weather, with closed windows, it would probably not have been noticeable.

Ich war mit kleine Kind 2 Monate war 11 Uhr Cheak out und Kinder war weinen und wollte Milch und Windel wechseln , ich war nur 20 minuten spater raus gekommen wegen wegen 2 Monate klein Kind und dann die wollen 50 CHF wegen nur fur 20 minuten war eine alte mann ohne rispect weiß nicht wie muss reden hat keine augen eine hat kleine baby und dann sagst ich ruf polizie oder muss ich zahlen nur ich wollte nicht meine zeit werlieren wegen klein Kind dann hab ich bezahlt die konnen reich worden mit 50 und war vor mir auch eine gleich zeit raus mit ihm hat gar nicht gesagt . Bitte wenn eine will erste mal nicht hier die wollen nur Geld und hotel ist so kleine Bett fur zwei wie fur eine und ohne klima und oben schrank gibt eine femsehr auch geht nicht , alte mann ohne rispeckt wegen Kind hat auch 50 kassiert nur wegen 25 minuten spater wir sind raus gekommen Kind war nur 2 Monate und bin ich gekkommen cheak in um 18 Uhr 😂😂 danke nie wieder in diese scheiße

Location in the Old Town was ideal and in easy reach of public transport. The room was fine with everything you need, and breakfast was perfect and more than enough to set you up for the day!

En general todo está muy bien, la localización es excelente, la habitación es amplia y cómoda y la atención es muy buena.

Creo que hay un par de cosas viejas, la ducha no tiene presión y el sistema de la regadera es malo, la cama está vieja y las almohadas son tremendamente incómodas.

Lovely central location, close to main train station. Friendly staff, upon arrival they offered to help with our bags going up the stairs. Check in was super simple, we liked being able leave our key at reception during the day. Room had enough space for 2 people and was comfortable. We also enjoyed our own little terrace. Breakfast was pleasant with yummy food, space not too crowded.

We were a bit concerned that housekeeping left our terrace door open, we considered this to be a security issue as our terrace could be accessed via the public terrace. We hope that the housekeeping procedures will be reviewed to consider guest security more. We did note that the wifi would also drop in and out quite often and found the pillows to be a bit flat.

Just awful, the photos of the place don’t reflect reality , clearly some AI enhanced and tweaked to look better. This is not a family friendly location, dark, dingy and old. We payed for a crib that was not appropriate for our child, and just left the place. Would not recommend at all.

We were greeted with genuine welcome & questions answered efficiently. What a pleasant surprise to find so many restaurant options within minutes of the front door!

Not a thing… coffee kicked off early start to airport. Sorry we lacked time to eat at hotel.

Die Gäste hatten keine Möglichkeit,ihr Frühstück auszuwählen,das Angebot war recht dürftig und arme essen.Eine kleine Menge Essen und viele Menschen.Der Bettwäsche fehlten die Knöpfe-die Bezüge waren öffen,und die Matraze war in keine gutenZustand,ein bisschen schmutzig

O check-in que foi feito pelo Sr que nos recebeu foi constrangedor. Nervoso não teve paciência para procurar nos entender, apesar da reserva ter sido feita pelo Booking.com e ter entregado o passaporte e reserva impressa. Parecia que estava fazendo um favor e não que fossemos clientes que pagamos para ser bem atendido. Os demais funcionários foram excelentes, principalmente a Srta Jéssica do café da manhã.

Location is good, 15 mins walks to the main station, many restaurants nearby, however rooms are very basic, it does offer some value for money, though staff at reception is friendly and cooperative, so no complains,

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Hirschen! The hotel was lovely, comfortable, and we really enjoyed our time there. Everything about our stay was great. The only thing I wish the hotel had was air conditioning, especially during the warmer weather. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend staying here!

The location is great. Staff where nice and accommodating. The breakfast is good.

There is no air conditioning which made it challenging in 30 plus heat but the building is very old so it is expected. No hairdryer in the room or fridge. But the staff did put things in their main fridge if asked.

la struttura è carina, ma qualche intervento di manutenzione da fare, sicuramente nel bagno. Inolte, secondo me, non è una struttura da utilizzare per il periodo caldo estivo, in quanto non c'è condizionatore, e nemmeno un piccolo frigorifero per mettere al fresco una bottiglia d'acqua.

Great central location next to a plaza and one block from tram stop. Facility was clean. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was reasonably priced and available earlier than local restaurant options.

Two potential problems. First was that we visited during a heat wave and had to leave the windows open as NO air conditioning. Minimal breeze so the room stayed uncomfortably hot. Second, we visited during a weekend. The restaurants in the adjacent plaza stayed open to 2am and the crowd noise further kept us awake with the windows open. This was further complicated as the morning business trucks, etc started at 6:30 and their noise ensured that you couldn't really sleep. Had the windows been closed (I.e., no heat wave), it would have been a different outcome. Lastly, as a note, there are about 15 steps you have to climb to get to the front desk. If you're bags are heavy or if you have mobility issues, this hotel may not be for you.

The location is very nice, the bed was small but very comfortable i slept very well :)

No Air Conditioning. Most places in Zurich don't have A/C because in the past they didn't need it. Was there during a heat wave in Europe.They did give us a fan and we opened the windows but was still very hot.

Location was amazing, right in the middle of the old town. Staff were very friendly.

The weather was hot so just the fan was minimum to keep cool. A bit noisy at night, but that comes with being in the center of the old town.

El recepcionista de la mañana y el desayuno lo peor que me pasó en mis viajes de todos los años por Europa. Nula disposición del personal, el desayuno era hasta 10.30 y a las 09.55 literal nos echaron con mi esposa e hijo de 16 meses porque querían recoger todo a las 10.00, falta de limpieza y sobretodo destrato si sos latino, como a mi familia. Nunca había vivido una experiencia de discriminación así en un hotel.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Hotel Hirschen in Zürich. Das gesamte Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich. Unser Zimmer war zwar etwas klein, aber das wurde durch den hervorragenden Service mehr als ausgeglichen. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns, dass wir verspätet zum Frühstück gekommen sind und trotzdem noch freundlich bedient wurden. Das ist nicht selbstverständlich und hat unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team – wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder! Georg

The place is in Old Town. The hotel itself is quaint. Lots of nice restos within the area, there are ones just outside the door entrance in the square.

It was too hot and they don’t have Air conditioner. However they provided Table fan. It didn’t help cause it was too hot.

Old charming hotel in the centre of the city

In my room had outdated and old furniture, no a/c ( just a fan) when it was a heatwave, headboard had cloth which didnt help my allergy ( i pointed this out that i could not sleep because of this and asked for an upgrade, which i was willing to pay for, but the only room was on a busy and noisy street _ according to receptionist) - they then came and took off the cloth _ which i did not know could be removed- but not before shaking it to fold it on the bed!!) To be fair, i had a look at the neighbouring rooms and they seemed quite decent.

Great value, excellent location, clean and comfortable, very helpful and friendly staff. Really good breakfast too!

The hotel is located in a historic building in the old town area. The room was very small but nice, with a small desk and an electric kettle. Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning. The breakfast options were limited to cheese, ham, and boiled eggs (no scrambled eggs, no sausages, etc.).

Çok merkezi ama bu nedenle de fazla gürültülü bir konumda. Odalar ve banyo çok küçük ve yaz sıcağında klima da olmayınca çok zorlanıyor insanlar.

Kahvaltı çok zayıf ve fiyat/fayda dengesi bozuk. Bu fiyatı hak etmiyor.

Instalaciones muy viejas, el baño muy viejo, minúsculo e incómodo. Nuestra habitación daba a la plaza por lo que el ruido de las terrazas de los bares es insoportable con la ventana abierta, y en pleno verano era eso o morir de calor, porque no tiene aire acondicionado. Demasiado caro para como era la habitación
