Fotos engañan, sin wifi, viejito, me engañaron cuando pedí otra habitación pagando más si hacía falta, me dijeron que estaba todo ocupado pero allí no apareció nadie, ni del hotel ni clientes, en cuatro días que estuve.

Equipment cuisine, deux chambres séparées, personnel gentil.

L’appartement necesite un peu de rafraîchissement au niveau des murs, armoire qui ne tient pas fermée. Aussi pas de ménage durant une semaine pour la fin d année mais ils le font la veille du départ.

I liked the room very much. Perfect bed for me, I slept well. Nice pool. Close to the beach and restaurants. Small tip. If you go to the left when you exit the hotel, there is a small path that takes you to the big supermarket and the best pizzarestaurant. The staff are very kind and extremely helpful. If I come back to Mauritius, I will definitely stay here.

You can hear your neighbor room quite well, lucky for me I had quiet and calm neighbours.

L’accueil du propriétaire qui nous a permis de nous changer et laisser nos valises avant l’enregistrement car nous sommes arrivés très en avance par rapport à l’heure du check-in. La plage est à 5mn à pied. L’environnement n’est pas bruyant.

La famille qui a la gérance de cet établissement sont d'une gentillesse et toujours à l'écoute du client. Le logement est idéalement situé car tout est à proximité (plage, restaurant mauricien, transport en commun) et dans une rue hyper calme. Nous recommandons cet établissement si vous souhaitez découvrir le nord de l'Île Maurice.

The owner was mega, I went fishing he cooked my catch 4 ways including a takeaway for the next day He also gave me taxi to my next destination They are so good really recommend this wonderful family business 👍

Excellent location

Apartment is not large compared to others in the area.

Everything was great. The heartwarming welcome, the assistance by the staff , the location, the clean facilities.

Only the WiFi was an issue - it kept disconnecting a lot. Apart from that, everything was great.

We had mixed feelings about this villa. On the positive side, the location is great—close to the beach, supermarket, and cafes. I made a mistake in the booking, specifying two guests instead of three, but the owners didn’t charge us extra. The kitchen is well-equipped, and cleaning is done three times a week. AC in every room and hot water was available all the time.

However, there were some downsides. The rooms could have been cleaned better. The air conditioner in one of the rooms was so noisy that it was impossible to use, especially at night. The fridge also had some issues with its performance. We were also surprised and disappointed that the owners didn’t provide garbage bags or toilet paper, asking us to buy them ourselves. The bed linens were very old, and the blankets smelled musty.

The room was really comfortable, furnished with everything you would need, and spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and came to clean every 2 days. The host, Harry, was exceptionally helpful in helping me with my itineraries. He picked me up from the airport, made recommendations of great places to shop and visit, and made time to drive me everywhere. I wouldn't have had such a seamless vacation without Harry's help. I highly recommend this apartment.

Perfect accomodation for your stay. Beach, supermarket and restaurants are very close. The apartman is cosy, well equipped, spacious, brightly coloured. The host and his family are attentive, helpful and nice.

Decent stay in Trou aux Biches. Location is close to the public beach within walking distance. The room had a nice view of the inner court and the city from the terrace. Friendly host.

The room and the property could be cleaned better. The AC was not working, there was no socket near the bed.

My wife and I loved staying at Villa Kissen - lovely building - we stayed in the front one of two similar buildings in a double room, with cooking facilities, on the top floor with terrace to the rear. Room was spotless and had everything we could possibly need. Small pool attached to rear villa with sheltered sun terrace - we didn’t need it as beautiful beach was so near, 5 minute walk. Supermarket 5 minute walk. Kissen and all his family were super helpful and cheery.

Friendly host, very clean and nice kitchen. Very good advice of the host for the weather (there was a cyclone). Good bed and bathroom. Near the beautiful beach. Recommend sleeping here.

Quiet location, short walk to public beach. The owner (mr. Kissen) was really helpful. We were able to check in at 3am in the morning after our flight was delayed for over 4 hours!

The apt was really basic and self contained. The air con was really old, noisy and blowing cold air on top of the bed. The new air con was there, but hadn’t been fully installed yet. So we were told. We hardly got any sleep. Although it said that the property had private parking we ended up having to park our car outside in the public street, as the only available car space was taken by the owner. The flat could do with a bit of a ‘refresh’ and some thorough cleaning. It felt old and outdated. Although we booked and paid for 5 days we ended up leaving earlier and splashing out on a more expensive hotel for our last couple of days in Mauritius.

It was in walking distance from the beach snd restaurants and public transport.

Cleanliness was a problem. The bedroom curtains, sheet and walls was dirty. I have photo's of the curtains and sheets. The kitchen cupboards, fridge and microwave needs a thorough cleaning. The toilet blocked on our 2nd day. There was only 1 toilet roll. The toilet roll was not used in 1 day as per the owners response. We also had to request for the place to be cleaned on the third day. Towels was only provided then. We moved out on the 4th day after we paid for 7. The wall plugs are filthy. The place needs a serious upgrade. Cleanliness more than anything. If something is old it can still be cleaned. (the owner says the fridge, microwave and plugs are old) And the restaurant does not exist anymore since covid according to the owner.

The place was clean and comfortable. The room was on the 3rd floor with a nice view. You could hear the waves from the ocean. Very close to the beach and bus stops. The host was nice, and gave sweets for Diwali.

You could hear music from the nearby hotel but that stopped around 11pm, so it was not a bother.

Everything. I highly recommend this accommodation. Lovely family running this hotel. It's very clean, very comfortable, safe, very close to good supermarket and nice bakery. Good internet, hot water. I felt like at home. I organised for a day trip with the owner on the island, and I was able to visit everything I wanted. I also think they have the nicest beach on the island.

We liked pretty much everything about this place. It's comprised of a bedroom (a comfy double bed and AC), a bathroom and a sitting/dining room with a TV (which we never turned on :)) and a fully equipped kitchen (large fridge, gas, microwave, coffee machine...), as well as an extra single bed. We slept well, we liked the esthetic of the place and, even though we weren't cooking, having an actual kitchen came in handy on a couple of occasions during our stay. The location is really nice. It's in a quiet little street (biggest source of noise - chirpy birds) that's only a few steps away from one of the best beaches on the island, as well as some nice restaurants and one of the main supermarkets in the area. We also have to mention the host, who is an absolute treasure. Relaxed, kind, at hand whenever he can (text at random hour: "Do you have some clothes pegs we could borrow?", two minutes later there was a knock at our door and there they were). Do not miss the chance to try out his restaurant for some tasty authentic food! We ended up going a second time and it was probably our favourite meal of the whole trip (which really says something as food is generally great in Mauritius). Don't hesitate to ask for help organizing an excursion around the island either, we ended up spending a lovely day touring the south together.

Very convenient for the beach, restaurants, shops and bus stops. Very quiet, on a side street. We appreciated having a cooking facilities. The balcony was great. Exceptional value for money.

Location, price and kitchenette

Almost nothing

Unlike the bland four star hotels nearby, this place has a magical architecture and the rooms are colourfully and imaginatively presented. Comfortable beds and furniture, great kitchen, perfect shower, short walk to beach and buses.

Loud music sometimes at night from the big hotels. Noise from a pump coming on at unpredictable intervals can be irritating if you have trouble nodding off.

The area was quiet, stone-throw away to the beach. The owners are very caring people and always there for help and offers some great suggestions on how to go around the island.

The only thing i didn't like was the swimming pool downstairs, which had no guard rails around it for safety especially to kids, since we had a 4-year-old who likes or is used to play outdoors, but other than that, it was superb.

Everything was just fine, we fully enjoyed our stay.

Incredible value for money. My apartment had everything you might need for even a very long stay. Fully equipped kitchen with absolutely everything you can need, new, ecological AC, comfortable bed, enough space to host up to 3 people. I absolutely loved the decoration and overall vibe of the studio. The location is also perfect, very close to the beach, bus stop, shop,... And most importantly, Mr. Kassim was really kind and helpful and so was his family. I really felt great at this place and would love to stay longer.

Owner and wife rude and dishonest - frightening experience. . Bed terrible with humps, air conditioning very bad sounds as if it will fall off wall terrible noise. Area very noisy at night terrible, day time worse building next door. Had to go to police station due to owner being dishonest about his own rules, I was not allowed to make EFT as stipulated in rules, couldn't pay by card. Photo attached throwing my luggage on tar road after police told them to be honest and let me pay MR5000 and not MR14 000. The owner boasted that he does double bookings to harm South Africans and that he hates South African citizens!!!
