Legacy Hotel at IMG Academy

the Facility

breakfast was not free

Localização perfeita para quem vai na IMG Quarto twin bem espaçoso, tudo bem limpo. A comida do restaurante é bem gostosa.

Quartos amplos e novos

Limpeza apenas superficial nos quartos

Quarto amplo com 2 camas confortáveis.

Do serviço de limpeza dos quartos.

great place to stay while your kids are at camp

Everything, great hotel and staff!

Great!

Nothing!

Wry clean and well taken care of. Great staff from front desk to room service, restaurant! It was a plus value to find free EV charging stations at the hotel.

Very spacious, clean, love that two rooms had two beds each in the three bedrooms villa.

The ceiling started leaking from the above villa, the faucet was loose in one of the bathroom and one of the rooms the rack for the closet was broken.

Nit very clean the rooms No cinplemdntary water coffee Maker

Very clean and confortable

Either you get a shower with a glass door or a tub with a courtain in the room. The AC can be very noisy (I had to change rooms).

Location was okay.

Staff is nice except the ones who are working breakfast. When checking in, getting to the room it had a funky smell there was a lot of things broken. The refrigerator was not working either. The toilet seat handle was broken, along with the self in the shower was hanging on by literally a thread. There was what seems to be rust or mold on the railing of the door in the restroom. Lastly when checking out I got charged $40.00 for breakfast (was not told when I got there it was not included in the $300.00) I already paid for one night. I would have understood $40 if the whole breakfast was available but the moment we got down there was no waffles no pancakes barely any sausage my mother an I asked if there was another batch coming out an they told us there is no more and where not making any. Overall I will not be staying there again.

Proximity to wrestling event at IMG academy.

Breakfast was overpriced. Shower curtain had mold stains. A/C unit did not cool the room enough.

It was close to our destination event

The air conditioning was not good, we switched rooms and had the ame issue. The rooms were "muggy", and warm. The breakfast buffet was overpriced for what the room cost.

Costoso. Para lo que ofrece. No desayuno.

Nada

If you have a child at IMG this is the place to stay. We stayed in the Villas and they are really amazing and spacious. The one thing I didn’t like are the beds they are really uncomfortable and woke up with knots everyday. The bed at the hotel are the same as the villas which doesn’t make sense with how beautiful the villas are.

WiFi isn’t the greatest and the beds are really really uncomfortable and left knots in my back everyday. The place is beautiful and not the cheapest for them to have such cheap and uncomfortable beds

Location to IMG and cleanliness. Front desk staff were very helpful.

Fantastic academy on the spot step. Breakfast good, gym and amazing swimming pool.

It’s away from the main tourist area - need to drive.

Quarto espaçoso

Clean and coincidently closed to IMG

Convenience to IMG. Staff and facilities top notch!

Nothing!

The location is wonderful for a soccer tournament

The staff was not very friendly or helpful

Near the water

Wish it had breakfast included

Breakfast was good and had a lot of selections.

Everyone is exceptionally nice except the front desk woman on the morning of Monday October 6th. Not very friendly. Bad mood.

Everything

Everything was great. Only thing, the bar needs some extra help after games.

Great place to stay for campus visit.

Great customer service

Nothing

Pool, comfy beds, evening meal

Quilt on bed not covered.

Good

Best hotel ever. No complaint

Had a great comfortable stay at Legacy hotel while my son got settled in at IMG. The hotel was clean, comfortable and had great views and amenities. I plan to stay at Legacy hotel each time I visit my son at IMG. It is so close to the campus and shopping. I would definitely recommend other parents to stay at legacy as well.

It was great.

The staff at the restaurant were fantastic!! Staff at the front desk have some opportunity to better facilitate the cart transportation to the Academy. Room carpets. I do not think they were ever vacuumed in all days we were there. Small pieces of paper from our first or second day, were there 3 days later. But, most notoriously, the room smell like sweaty feet, midly, but still. If they have so many athletes around with sweaty shoes, socks and feet, they need to do a better job to vacuum the carpet and avoid keeping all those odors there.

Was decent stay

Being close to our son.

if you have kids at IMG or attending a sports camp yourself, this is probably a no brainer as a hotel option. However there condo or villa based accomodation available in the are and they may actually offer better value for larger travelling parties.

I made my reservation and fully paid for my stay through booling.com. When we checked in they asked for a credit card for incidentals. Then we started seeing 23 USD charges on the card. When we enquired about it we were told that this was "resort fee" for using the pool and other amenities. Frankly, I find this quite absurd. It was very difficult to talk to some of the front dest stafd about it. We stayed for two weeks and it was a constant battle every other day talking to front office to stop charging us. While they said they didnt, they charged us and eventually told that this will be refunded aftet check out and it hasnt.. Legacy Hotel shoul clarify their pricing policy for third party booking platforms to avoid further confusion.

This is our second time we stayed at Legacy and it has turned into one of my wife’s favorites. My only little “oops” is that it would be nice if the clerk that checked us in made it a point to remind us concerning the 25% off a meal at the restaurant, we didn’t see it until we checked out. We also enjoy dining at the restaurant.
