Seawinds Bed and Breakfast

Good location. Staff really friendly. In town in 2-3 min walking distance of pubs and restaurants.

The carpet in the room had a stale smell. But the room overall was clean.

The location was perfect! Able to walk to restaurants, shops, harbour, Pubs & all over the town. Breakfast was delicious! Patricia & Gerry were very helpful & so gracious!!! We loved our stay here! Patricia gave us great info about things to see & do with great insight!

Everything went well. We arrived late, as expected, to a warm welcome. A good night sleep and a good breakfast. What more could one want?

Die Hilfsbereitschaft der Gastgeber war hervorragend. Der zentrale Lage: Im Ort war alles fußläufig erreichbar Der Ort und die Unterkunft waren als Basis für Tagesausflüge in der Region sehr gut geeignet.

Irischer oder Europäischer Honig zum Frühstück wäre mein Wunsch. Statt "60% China, 30% Indien und 5% Südamerika". Aber dass ist meckern auf hohem Niveau.

The location

When I booked I booked bed and breakfast and the booking stated that breakfast was included in the final price but we received an email 24 hours before we got there stating the breakfast was complimentary ! And what it consisted of giving us no time to cancel as you have to cancel 48 hours before as for Seawinds it's self-catering and should be advertised as such ' the bed was not made the bin in the bathroom was half full when we got there and was not emptied till day two the tea and milk which was supposed to be in the room was not replenished I had to go down to the kitchen at 11 oc on the second night to get tea and milk to make a cup of tea and as a foot note I found the ramp up to the front door quite dangerous for people

B&B owners are friendly and make you feel at home. If you want to get in contact with locals or get some tips for the surrounding area, they will be happy to talk to you. The room and the whole place are cozy and clean. Room with adequate temperature. Kitchen available to prepare your own food. Tables on the balcony if you prefer to have takeaway. Great location. Room with a sea view, and all the main places in town are within walking distance.

Breakfast is served at 8, which doesn't work well with our travel style that involves leaving at 8. It would have been nice if I could connect an HDMI cable to the TV or mirror videos from a device.

Excellent location, clean and comfortable, very nice hosts.

The room was much larger than expected, which was lucky with a semi-mobile toddler! The B&B told us they didn't have a travel cot for him on arrival but they provided a mattress and later found a travel cot. Breakfast was lovely, scones on tap and a very relaxed affair. The hosts had a similar aged grandson so were happy with our toddler using the shared balcony and climbing the stairs multiple times!

Booking.com offered us the option of adding a travel cot to the room for our toddler. However, the B&B said they don't usually offer one - so contact them directly in advance if you'd like one!

Hosts were brilliant, loved the comfy bed, morning freshly baked scones & fruity yoghurt yummy. Super location, great value, plenty parking.

Lovely place Patricia was so welcoming and helpful

Patricia and Gerard are very warm-hearted, caring hosts who were always interested in making my stay in Killybegs as pleasant as possible. They gave me some great tips, such as hiring an e-bike from the tourist centre and cycling along the Coast Road to Sliabh Liag, visiting also Fintra beach and Muckross Head. For someone traveling without a car, it was just perfect! The room was very cosy and had everything I needed. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh juice, yoghurt, cereals, toast and warm scones. I would definitely come back!

I didn't realise the path to the front door was so steep. But I managed it ok.

The room was very spacious, very clean and comfortable. The location is great and the view from the room was lovely. The owners were really welcoming on arrival and at breakfast.

The breakfast is basic enough but there are facilities if you want to make something for yourself. This is nothing to do the with the accommodation, but the village itself is very quiet and not alot to do or many shops to walk around.

Sehr gutes Frühstück, trotz der zentralen Lage war es sehr ruhig. Sehr nettes Gastgeberehepaar die gute Reisetipps gegeben haben.

A nice and cosy place, in a excellent location. A lovely breakfast. A perfect place to take a rest, recharge your energy. 100% recommend.

This Bed and Breakfast property had everything we needed for our stay: warm, clean, comfortable bed , friendly Hosts. We had to be away early so didn’t have breakfast but a very good selection of food was available. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Killybegs.

Didn’t have anything to complain about.

I arrived late and was greeted warmly. Room was clean and dry and warm. Breakfast was delicious. Patricia's suggestion to visit Sliev Iieg (sp.?) was followed, and I'm grateful, as it was something I'll never forget. I left an item in the room and returned hours later and Patricia not only let me in but helped me look for - and find - the item. What more can I say?

Patricia und Gerry sorgen für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt in diesem zentral in Killybegs gelegenen B&B. Parkgelegenheit. Supermarkt und Pubs sind in unmittelbarer Umgebung zu finden. Eine sehr gute Basisstation für Besuche von Slieve League und der umgebenden Halbinsel mit ihren netten Überraschungen.

Tout mais mention spéciale à Gerry qui est super accueillant, très professionnel. Et aller, une autre mention à leur petit déjeuner local, fait main, peu d'établissement sont dans cette état d'esprit.

Hôtes très gentils et attentionnés, petit déjeuner délicieux, chambre confortable.

My friend and I were talking in our room about our plans for the following day and the landlady tapped on the door to say no talking , we felt like bold children , ridiculous , a retreat house for silent monks

Patrica & Gerard were absolutely fantastic hosts & made us feel very welcome. Our room was spacious with comfortable beds in a very quiet location. We had the best night’s sleep. Breakfast was delicious overlooking the water. We will definitely stay here again.

Patrica, our host, was amazing. She is so friendly and helpful. She gave us lots of places to eat and things to do. The location is perfect, and everything is walking distance around. Lovely view of the sea from the balcony. There was a great variety of breakfast. The homemade scones were delicious. Everything was very clean. We stayed for 2 nights, and our room was cleaned every day with fresh towels. We will definitely be back.
