It's was easy to find and next to the beach, restaurant. It's a walk away to Shaka marine

The TV was not playing good channels and not switched off. It was operated the whole night

I liked the staff a lot. Sphiwo and Lerato at the Reception Desk. The staff working at the Bar,I've forgotten the name of the guy that made our Mocktails. Everybody we came across on that shift was super nice, Smilling, friendly and and always willing to help. They are so professional 👏 ❤️Siyabonga kakhulu.

I had a short stay, so there's nothing that I picked up. I'll have to come back and book maybe a weekend 😄

I liked everything about it thou i did not take the tour around the hotel because i did not have much time. Thou the staff was warm and welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean and so were the toilets and everything in the hotel.

So we booked a room for 2 people we only got one body lotion and one soap it not a compliant it was totally fine but i wish each person could be provided with those if possible, otherwise it was a great experience spending the day in Onomo Hotel looking forward to coming back.

I would’ve liked if there were more restaurant options at the hotel or the carvery should have been be a bit cheaper. Otherwise all good.

The rooms were very cold. I felt sick and had to check out early to attend flu and colds as a result.

The restaurant staff was amazing even though the kitchen was slow. Other than that, the supervisors and the manager were outstanding. It was actually the restaurant manager who tried to redeem the hotel for the horrible experience I had upon arrival.

When I arrived I was put in a room that wasn't properly cleaned. When I complained at reception, I was moved to a room that was a converted twin to queen, when I booked a standard queen. The receptionist told me that she was aware when I alerted her, meaning she was aware I was not getting what I paid for. Eventually I was moved to a standard queen, but only after I had taken my luggage to camp by the reception. This room also had dead roaches but that was a better situation that the prior.

The bedding was sufficient and of good quality. The provision of tea/coffee is a good idea. Your breakfast seemed of a high standard and we regretted not opting in for it.

The bed was too small and uncomfortable and cold, when i asked for blanket i was told it was not available and the TV remote was not working, when I asked for assistance it took so long to sort it out, I had to call three times and I was not really pleased by that. Your service was not good.

The was a small tissue roll and instead of getting a double bed i got two single beds

the wardrobe, hanging clothes was problematic. found it difficult to hanging my dresses as I was staying there attending functions at Jewish Hall . I think the size was not considered it only suitable for trousers only

My mom's charger was swapped. It was reported yet no apology has been issued. I've sent emails and texts but no response which is so sad coz for 4 years we've been using Onomo but I think this will be a last

The car park looks dodgy but inside the hotel look good but the staff did not go the extra mile to assist, we made a reservation or rather a booking with booking.com for the 3rd July, we arrived there tired around 2am and staff couldn't help us even if we were willing to pay extra. We left and enjoyed our stay at City Lodge Hotel instead.

Room size space, beds, No microwave for guest as we are students, Wifi procees and the stability turn off.. Cape town Onomo was on point durban can learn there. luggage trolleys must be available as staff did support but that was not enough.

Hot water in the shower was always top notch although hotel was fully booked i enjoyed

No microwave even in the breakfast area yet their coffee machine gives a cold coffee, breakfast is finished by 7: 30 and not enough staff for a very busy weekend, we had no fridge in our room 303, small mirror in a basin thats a problem for us ladies, toilet door not fully closed, my friends at room 328 supposed to be a wheelchair friendly yet the mirror is so high she could not reach it or use it, wardrobe to hang your coats or dress too low its like its a kids room, lights are linked together you need to open all lights in the room to use toilet lights at night

Our experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. We were treated poorly, and Zamo completely ignored both me and my aunt despite our evening reservation. There was no effort to accommodate my pork allergy, and we were served food that appeared to be spoiled, which unfortunately resulted in my aunt suffering from food poisoning. The reception staff were also unhelpful. They could not assist with a simple air-conditioning adjustment, and the reception phone (option 9) was never answered, not even once, from the time we arrived. To make matters worse, the buffet was not explained to us, even though we saw staff explaining it to other guests. On Saturday, we waited an unreasonably long time to be served. When Zane eventually attended to us, the service we received was extremely poor and unacceptable. Overall, the lack of customer care, poor communication, and unacceptable food and service standards made this a very disappointing experience

Its dirty from the passage and the rooms are worse. On arrival we complaint about the dirty room, they apologize & moves us to another room which was worse, we then chose to go back to the 1stone as it was dirty but better than the 2nd room. We called the reception many times requesting for a blanket & they keep on promising until I went to them in person and they said they don't have blankets as they are finished & it was too cold.

First time sleeping in it was love at first sight ,definitely coming back, place was eye watering, peaceful, clean, attractive. I really really enjoyed everything,what I enjoyed the most is that the place is close by the beach you can literally walk no need to Uber, I actually wanted a place close to the beach because it was the first time ever in her entire life my girl friend visited durban so I was lookin for something affordable and close to the beach. room service amazing 🙌 in no time your order is being delivered.Food was appetizing, Room setup 🔥🔥 as you walk inside you start having goosebumps. There was no microwave in my room, so I'm not quit too sure whether all rooms are catered that way.or it was just only the one that I booked into. So you can't warm up the left overs in the morning. You just have to dig in as cold as it is. The TV channels.. Please do something about that it was boring sabc 1,2,3 etv and the other you can't enjoy football as you would want too. Remote control for the TV was on and of was not functioning to the fullest don't know whether it was the batteries that were running flat or what.. Other buttons were not working, please see to that as well

Great service from the reception team

The staff were shouting and screaming at each other outside in the middle of the night after finishing their shift. The noise went on for more than 30 minutes, which completely disrupted my sleep. After being woken up, I struggled to fall asleep again before I had to wake up. It was very inconsiderate and unacceptable, especially for a hotel where guests expect peace and quiet.

1. Room was clean. Every time I came back, the room was spotless.

1. The air conditioner only allowed for cold temperatures. So my stay was very unpleasant due to it being winter. We tried asking for a heater, but none were available. 2. I ordered food from room service, and when I asked for it to get warmed, they declined my request. 3. I wasn't happy with the state of the bedding.

The property is located in a very convenient area, very easy to find. The staff were helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast.

The only discomfort I experienced was with the light situation in the rooms. The lights are grouped so you cannot have a dim lit room. It is either dark or too bright.

The staff are friendly, extremely helpful (shout out to Gerard) and have created an overall good vibe, so much so that I extended my stay.

The beds were not comfortable especially as I was there for a competition and did not need to wake up with back ache. No blankets or extra pillows supplied. Not replacing toilet paper and as two people were in the room we should have each been supplied with shower gel, caps and soap. We only were given one shower gel and cap.

It is located conveniently for Comrades marathon.

The rooms are tiny. I felt like I was in a dormitory. Breakfast service is slow. Long lines at coffee machine. Inadequate soap supplies in room.
