Hotel Boutique Alicante Palacete S.XVII - Adults Only

Amazing location, beautiful building with stunning features.gorgeous restaurants and bars on your doorstep and beach a 5 minute walk.fantastic stay

This hotel is stunning rooms are clean and very well decorated. Had a roof top terrace and is central to everything. Would definitely stay there again. Staff are very friendly couldn’t do enough for you.

Beautiful hotel located in the historic center of Alicante, walkable distance to the beach, shops and restaurants.

Fantastic place bang in the centre of the old town on such a convenient location and a stunning building. Lovely to sit on the roof terrace and have a glass of Cava. All the staff were so friendly and nice and really made us welcome.

Great place

Wonderful hotel with old town charm, couldn’t have asked for nicer staff and I looked forward to my breakfast each morning, it was delicious. Would go back in a heart beat, highly recommended

Great hotel good location staff lovely

We’re presently surprised how cute that Boutique hotel was. Great location in the middle off the old town. Stuff was great and helpful. We will be back again.

Great location, right in centre but on the corner of a quiet street. Good price for a Clean comfortable spacious room. Pleasant reception staff. Nice breakfast is available at a reasonable €15 but we had to ask about it as we weren’t told when we checked in. Roof terrace is in full sun with plenty of sitting area but was a little tired in September and on a bit of a slope. Overall we Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely quirky hotel in a fabulous location. Bedroom was great with massive bed. Wish we had stayed longer.

Gorgeous property with a stunning mix of old and modern. Amazing location right in the centre of town and we could walk everywhere which we loved. The coffee house (Madness Coffee) right next door did the BEST breakfasts. Lovely choice of tapas/bars/restaurants really close by. Beach and esplanade less than 5 mins walk too. The castle is well worth a visit too!

Perfect stay in a wonderful hotel in a lovely location

Location excellent Very clean Liked extra touches soft drinks and water in fridge

Well located, lovely staff, safe parking closeby for E15/night. Elegant room with L'Occitane toiletries.

Another wonderful stay !! Just perfect 👌

One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. Arrived on an early flight so was at the hotel before lunch where we we greeted by a very helpful and nice young lady. As we were so early the room wasn't ready but we were able to leave our luggage and were offered use of bathroom facilities. When we returned later our luggage had actually been placed in our room for us. Whenever passing through reception we were always greeted in a friendly pleasant manner. At the end of the stay we needed a taxi this was called for us again in the same friendly yet professional manner. The actual accommodation is spotlessly clean and the traditional style has lots of atmosphere. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel the location in the old town is ideal. The breakfast here is also very good and again the lady taking orders and serving the food was so nice. Loved it.

The location is brilliant for everything and all in short walking distances. The staff are lovely and very helpful, The rooms are very clean with a comfortable bed and a great shower with plenty of hot water. Would definitely stay again

Staff were super helpful particularly parking our car. Great locatioñ close to lots of food options.

Interesting place, but not much to write home about. The fifth floor terrace is an interesting space with a view across the rooftops of Alicante.

We were last at this hotel pre-Covid, and really enjoyed our stay. However, on this visit we noticed that standards had dropped. The room looked in need of some upgrades. Bedding torn, towels thin, couldn’t drain the water in the sink. Small things, but they all added up. Most disappointing thing was the breakfast, which was a standard tray, same(ish) every day. Okay if you liked scrambled eggs, and a plate of cheese and meats, but for what we paid, we would have expected a choice.

Great location and an excellent stay all round, could not have asked for more. As you walk in the lobby is striking and the roof terrace is a great place to listen to the sounds of Alicante.

Quirky place with spacious rooms, it’s an old building so not perfect, eg sloping floor. Nice roof terrace, water & drinks in fridge and will bring coffee up to your room . Helpful polite staff. Its a great location for bars restaurants etc in the old town

The location was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is advertised as having a bar - it does NOT have a bar. Please adjust your details as I woud not have booked here.

We enjoy everything in the hotel, from de service in the reception area, the room, and the continental breakfast was delicious!!! Thank to all people that provided there an excellent service and make you feel like home.

Beautiful building right in the heart of the old town. Lovely room friendly and helpful staff

The bedroom whilst decorated in a boutique style have no wardrobes or drawers to accommodate your clothing The sink had drainage problems and toilet seat loose asked twice for it to be fixed problem not resolved No telephone in room or hotel information in room Breakfast served in adjoining public cafe so you have to wait whilst public served, the continental breakfast is the same every day no choice scrambled egg ,four pieces of meat, four pieces of cheese, yogurt and fruit, two pieces of chocolate cake No hanging caddies in the shower to put soap or shower gel in

This hotel is situated next to Alicante Cathedral,it is ideal for all restaurants and shops, however it has a number of drawbacks. 1.Although the bedrooms are decorated in a boutique style there is nowhere to hang your clothes properly,no drawers or wardrobes . 2.We were there for four days and the sink drainage did not work properly and the toilet seat was loose,I asked twice for the problem to be fixed but it was not. 3.The breakfast is served in an adjoining public cafe which can result in having to wait whilst the public are being served. The continental breakfast is the same every day which is scrambled egg, four pieces of meat, four pieces of cheese, fruit and yogurt and two pieces of chocolate cake. 4 There is a mini fridge in the bedroom which is free,it contains two bottles of water one bottle of orange and one bottle of coke. 5.The shower did not have any hanging caddies to place your toiletries in. 6.No telephone or information in your room re hotel

From the moment I entered this sympathetically restored and beautifully decorated hotel, I felt at home. This is not easy to achieve as a solo traveller but the warm welcome and initial impression of my room dispelled any concerns. Nice touches such as the complimentary toiletries, water and soft drinks were appreciated. I had booked included breakfast and it was quality; locally sourced with delicious organic coffee which set me up for the day. The two women who were serving were so friendly and kind, thank you. The hotel also had a roof terrace and due to the perfect location had great views of the old town. Adjacent to the cathedral, it is only 5 minutes from the airport bus stop. Perfect.

Great boutique hotel that had many features. Directly opposite the Cathedral with great views. The room was huge with two big windows and a Fireplace. The Hotel had a lovely vibe to it and the staff were very polite and attentive.

Absolutely lovely property, very quirky and old with lovely features. The only thing I could fault was the reception staff. They were very polite but not at all friendly, hardly smiling and only answering questions with mostly single words. The cleaning staff were extremely friendly and could not be faulted

It was phenomenal! Gorgeous old castle in the heart of Alicante . Walkable to everything!

Outstanding hotel in old town.Perfect location in the centre of the old town. Just located next to the cathedral and 5 minutes from the beach. Outstanding front of house and fabulous rooms. Balcony was lovely too for a glass of wine after a busy day.

Amazing hotel! Fabulous location in Central Old Town opposite the Cathedral. Beautiful hallway and reception area and stairs! Smelt beautiful too! Reception staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Loved our room, comfortable big bed, great bathroom and shower. Lovely little balcony where we sat and enjoyed a glass of wine after a busy day exploring Alicante! Couldn't find a fault to this beautiful unique hotel! Would highly recommend and definitely return.

Very friendly staff - very small hotel but ideal for Alicante beach and shops

We stayed in room 107 for 3 nights. We arrived at 1am and the receptionist was on the desk and checked us in. The receptionist was very polite. When you arrive the hotel does have the wow factor! It smelled amazing and overall has a great ambience. We were checked into room 107 - the room was a good size but the bathroom was tiny and your legs touched the sink when sitting in the toilet - for info we are 5ft 7 and 5ft 10 so not exactly tall! This was quite annoying and not exactly what you expect of a highly rated hotel. Our room was also ridiculously noisy - you could hear every time someone spoke, sneezed, turned on the taps, flushed the toilet and anything else. It doesn’t seem any of the other reviews mention this noise, so I think it must be someone with this room only. This room is at the end of the hotel, so I wonder if this impacted the noise. It was the noisiest room we have ever stayed in. We did ask to move rooms and the hotel agreed, but the time we had to move we were out for the day so couldn’t move rooms (this wasn’t hotels fault). We would have moved if we could but we didn’t want to return from our day out to switch rooms. Room included complimentary toiletries and minibar with soft drinks. Staff all very helpful and polite. We also used luggage room on last day in order to store bags and get changed. Location of hotel was great. Overall I would recommend this hotel but I would not recommend the room we were given due to the size of the bathroom and noise levels.

Cracking location and a beautiful building. Bed super-comfy, shower really good. It was a bit echo-ey... you could hear reception and conversations in other rooms. A shelf in the shower for stuff would be nice. Really loved our stay. Thanks.

Brilliantly positioned. Right next to the Cathedral and the old town and surrounded by little streets, cafes and restaurants. It is very quaint with lots of character and only 20 or so rooms over 3/4 floors. Can be a little noisy with passers by in the late evening but no traffic noise. Staff very nice and helpful. Breakfast is at the bistro attached to the hotel.

Absolutely fabulous historic building, hotel & staff were amazing.

The staff were all lovely. The room (103) was spacious and the balcony was very handy. We enjoyed the breakfast which included the best freshly squeezed orange juice we’ve ever had. Great location for everything too. We used the buses and the tram.

Lovely stay right in the centre of the old town, bars restaurants and shops on the doorstep. 5 minutes from the airport bus stop, same to the marina and beach. Great hotel staff, extremely pleasant and friendly. Excellent hotel roof terrace.

Beautiful hotel in a stunning setting, easy access to the Castillo and beach. Very friendly staff who had good recommendations for dining. Rooms are not large (especially the bathroom), but the high ceilings compensate. Bed too firm.

Positioned in the old town and good location for numerous restaurants and bars. Lovely room and pleasant staff. Roof top bar where you can order from and drinks will be brought to you. Nice bistro cafe on bottom floor and was good and again staff nice. Would definitely use again

If you are a light sleeper, and like to sleep with the window open is noise.

Great location right in the centre of the old town with plenty of places to eat and drink. Room was tidy and cleaned daily with toiletries replenished. Roof terrace was a bonus but must say we did not find reception staff very approachable and friendly.

would recommend it good position

Brilliant hotel, full of charm in a great central location. Staff were very friendly and attentive and the hotel was spotlessly clean. We loved the roof terrace, a moment of peace whilst still surrounded by the buzz of Alicante. Beautiful historic surroundings and the room was full of character. Would throughly recommend.

Helpful friendly staff . I really enjoyed my stay here and its an interesting building

I made the best of my stay there, but I won’t stay there again. I liked the location as it was close to everything and as a walker, I loved that. The hotel is small, which is not a problem. I stayed in 103 and because of the atrium it was very noisy when housekeeping was working. The room was spacious with a mini fridge that they will restock. There is a small table with 2 chairs that I enjoyed while having happy hour before heading out for the night. My room had a small balcony, but I couldn’t open the door. Probably my fault. The room needs deep cleaning, including the baseboards and bathroom. I cleaned the bathroom to the best of my ability. The curtain in 103 needs to be cleaned or replaced. The ceiling was a little off for me, however, that’s just me. It’s as if the didn’t finish. FYI there is a restaurant that is opened for breakfast and lunch. I recommend that you tell guests upon check-in as it’s like it’s hidden. I found it because I was nosey. And to the staff that spoke to each other in my presence or when I got on the elevator (My room was on the 1st floor, so I heard what you said.). Too bad you assumed that this Black American couldn’t understand and speak a little Spanish because I decided not to. 😏

This property is very well located but VERY noisy! Not just outside, but also from the floor above and out in the hallway. We were located to the front on the first floor. I booked a superior double. It did have the double balcony as advertised. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room but they will provide a kettle, tea bags and milk. A 5 minute walk to beach and plenty of restaurants and cafes near by. Just the absolute lack of sleep due to noise made it nearly unbearable.

Very good hotel in a central location right next door to the Cathedral and close walking distance to the many old town bars and restaurants as well as the main promenade. Housed in an old stone building with an impressive central staircase the rooms are modern and contemporary. The hotel has a good size roof terrace and our room also had a balcony but no bar but drinks can be ordered through the reception. Breakfast is served in a coffee shop on the ground floor which was excellent and had a nice atmosphere. The hotel also offers valet parking which is very useful in the centre of the city if arriving by car. My only two criticisms of the hotel are the rooms could be darker at night with proper blackout curtains and removing the exit light above the bedroom door. Also as a 4 star hotel they should have tea and coffee making facilities in the room although there was a fridge which was refilled with water and did drinks everyday. Neither of these points would stop us staying there again.

Centrally located a few minutes from the main promenade in a historic building. Lovely big room which was very tastefully decorated. We had a mini bar that was free and was restocked each day with a selection of soft drinks and water. Helpful, friendly staff at reception. Good value for what we paid, all in all high recommended.

In contradiction to their claim there is no onsite parking but they offer to direct you (or take your car for you with a 15 to 20 min turnaround) to an external PUBLIC car park. Quite noisy early morning due to central location and poor window insulation...e,g expect to be woken up around 4am on Monday mornings by a street cleaning lorry and shop owners shouting from around 6am Beautiful building, good set breakfast, nice rooftop terrace, rooms attractive but dark. Probably wouldnt return without earplugs. First hotel ever encountered with no bin in the toom or English TV channels.

Such a beautiful hotel and great location, in the old town and just a few minutes from the beach, shops and the bus to the airport. The room was spacious and beautifully designed with a comfortable bed. There’s a nice cafe for breakfast too. Highly recommend.

Spotless accommodation in very central location close to all sites Friendly staff ,overall a wonderful break would definitely return to this hotel

One thing you can guarantee with this hotel is consistency. The reception staff are professional, your luggage is put in your room for you, the bedrooms are alway immaculate, and the sleep is excellent. The goodies in the fridge is a nice touch, and replenished daily. Toiletries are also of a high standard. Take a walk to their rooftop terrace and enjoy some late afternoon sunshine! I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Alicante.

Hotel very central so perfect for seeing Alicante- would definitely stay again

The rooms are quite tired and the hotel is very noisy, right on a main walking thoroughfare. breakfast was good, but they didnt have enough staff, so service was very slow. great location if you didnt mind the noise.

Perfect location. Small but perfect room which was clean and comfortable. There was a fridge with free soft drinks, bathrobes and lovely toiletries. The location was fantastic, walking distance to everything. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful.

The hotel is lovely inside and very traditional looking. The staff were lovely and the location was phenomenal! We were just on the corner of many restaurants and our balcony overlooked the restaurant street below. The staff were very lovely and gave us a tourist map to explore the area.

Very nice hotel in centre of Alicante. Close to all the tourist sights - casino, beach, castle, museums, old town, market. Airport bus stop is only 3 minutes walk. Room is basic but comfortable. Nice small balcony. Aircon, fridge (but not cold enough), safe. No teacoffee. The area is very touristy, hence all restaurants are targeted. Staff are very friendly. Some noise from other rooms - snoring, showers etc.

Lovely boutique hotel in an excellent location. Tastefully designed, helpful staff, comfy bed and complimentary water/soft drinks in the fridge which were replenished each day.

Great staff and loved the location

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel which is in a perfect location to explore the old town and the castle. Staff were extremely helpful, it was a very special experience!

Lovely hotel and staff, would highly recommend

Excellent hotel set in the old town of alicante ,jist behind the church . Very old building bare castle style walls with modern rooms .staff friendly amd attentive location close to everyrhing would definatwly recomend to others for a qualoty hotel .10/10

Lovely old building, far nicer than photo suggests. Bathroom very small and knees almost touching sink when sat on loo. Very handy for restaurants and bars and tram station. Short walk to beach and marina. Staff lovely, even took our bags to our room for us. Lovely toiletries in room too.

Beautiful little boutique hotel in the middle of historic district. Has valet parking for 15 euros per day, you just drive up to the main entrance, check in, and they take your keys and park your car. They offer room service and a buffet breakfast. The staff were warm and welcoming. Bed was good and they provided extra pillows. Shower was also good. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Always love this hotel - fabulous stay - 5th time and always amazing staff and rooms and the best location!!!

One of the loveliest hotels I’ve stayed in. A spacious room, great facilities and wonderful staff. The location is ideal and I highly recommend it.

Loved this hotel! The decor was fabulous and the staff so friendly and helpful. Location was perfect and rooms were clean and stylish. Wished we had stayed for more than 2 nights, will definitely stay here again when we come back to Alicante.

A wonderfully quaint and comfortable hotel in a truly historic location. Plan to go back to the Palacete.

The hotel had 17 rooms and was very comfortable. We stayed bed and breakfast which was continental style - scramble eggs. Meats. Cheese. Cake. Yoghurt with fruit in the hotel cafe which was part of the hotel. The hotel history was that the building used to be a palace and was very close to the cathedral. The room was comfortable with ample chairs to sit on. There was a rooftop terrace with views towards castle and cathedral ( opposite our room ). The staff were friendly and helpful even recommending a trip by train to Elche. The hotel is close to all amenities, restaurants. Beach, tram, marina, castle, promenade and shopping district. The main railway station is about 20mins walk. The airport 30mins by taxi.

Fab location, fab building, fab room and fab staff. This hotel certainly has the ‘wow’ factor. Book it!

Overall a good hotel and would stay here again. Very clean. Room a fantastic size with a balcony. We had a room on first floor overlooking the street and did not experience any noise (our stay was Monday to Friday). It’s in a great location with many great bars and restaurants in walking distance. Mini fridge is inclusive and includes water and soft drinks which was a nice touch. Many reviewers have commented on the staff friendliness, we didn’t feel this however also did not require any help whisky staying. There is a lack of storage in the rooms so lived out of cases. Really missed having tea and coffee facilities in the room. However room service is available and quick. Also worth notice that taxis cannot drop off outside so if you have any mobility issues the hotel may not be ideal.

Lovely hotel in a great position. Thoroughly recommend.

Second visit and equally good! Breakfast amazing 😍

What a gem! We will definitely return. Perfect in every way with the bonus of having a great nights sleep. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This hotel is beautiful and clean. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Very walkable area with many shops, bars and restaurants.

Had a great stay. Couple of breakfast options on the doorstep. Only downside is that it would be nice to have at least one English speaking channel or news channel on the t.v.

Superb hotel in a great location. Recommended.

The room was lovely. High ceilings and a balcony, mini fridge with drinks included. Staff really welcoming and friendly. Smart tv, so able to watch netflix/prime etc. Clean and tidy and i had everything i needed. The bed wasn't too comfortable. It could do with a mattress topper and new/more firm pillows. I would definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel and really kind staff

Very good

Amazing hotel and staff

Beautiful hotel, perfectly located in the old town. Wonderful staff, nothing was too much trouble.

Great location Good service Beautiful hotel

Beautiful boutique hotel with real character. Lovely rooms, very spacious and best of all, fantastic location.

Lovely well kept building , central to everything. Lovely balcony , comfortable bed & really helpful, friendly staff . Would highly recommend

Very old building full off character.Valet parking

Great place to stay in the heart of Alicante.

Helpful staff. Handy for walking to centre and beach.

Hotel was amazing right from the first minute. Greeted at reception then personally taken up to our room. Room was huge with a lovely big comfortable bed. There were free soft drinks in the fridge and a beautiful terrace which overlooked the old town of Alicante. The hotel has a lovely feel about it. You need to stay there to know what I’m meaning. It is very central, in the heart of the old town with restaurants and bars nearby. The beach and marina are only 5 minutes walk away. Will definitely return.

Very clean

Unique and beautiful

The building is spectacular for its design and renovation: preserving the old and updating with modern touches. Very close to beach and centered in the historic area.

Great location, beautiful 17th century hotel with lots of charm and character. Only criticism is mattress on bed, quite hard. Overall a memorable stay

Excellent staff and facilities. Location was just what i was looking for. Website pictures didn't do the building justice as the stairwell is spectacular.

Fantastic hotel in the centre of Alicante. Spacious, well equipped rooms. Downside - very noisy from other occupants and outdoors. If you choose this hotel request a high up room. We were on the 1st floor and got very little sleep!

We stayed for four nights, it was a lovely old building. We stayed in a superior room, which was big, had a fridge with a few complimentary soft drinks and the bed was comfortable. The room was made up everyday. All the staff were friendly and breakfast was nice too.
