We enjoyed every second of our stay. The Country House is absolutely beautiful and cozy. Dino, the host is most welcoming and hospitable. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was delicious.

Cape Vue was in a perfect location close to town. The views are amazing and the staff took great care of us! Breakfast was wonderful and it was a peaceful and relaxing stay!

Cape Vue is set in a wonderful location, overlooking the mountains and a 5 minute walk into town. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and gave us a complimentary bottle of wine, champagne, chocolate and fruit. The breakfast was outstanding. All the food was so fresh with homemade breads, pastries and jams.

Everything was perfect.

Cozy Stuff

A quiet hotel of 6 rooms with a great location and views. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We are definitely going back. The attention to detail was amazing.

Beautifully maintained home with spacious rooms. We had a wonderful time. A short and safe walk into town made getting places a breeze. The team was very knowledgable, welcoming, and kind!

We absolutely loved this accommodation. What made our stay especially memorable was Dino’s warm and welcoming nature, as well as his wonderful cappudinos in the morning. We also really appreciated the great tips he gave us for exploring the area. The view from the pool is truly impressive. The whole place has such a cozy, loving, and peaceful atmosphere. The colors, the interior design, and all the thoughtful details make it feel very special. It is a perfect place to relax and unwind. We also really liked the location. In just a few minutes, you can reach the main street with several options for food and drinks. At the same time, it is a wonderful base for exploring the area. The Franschhoek Wine Tram was easy to reach, and even without having our own car, everything was uncomplicated. With Uber, we could get to some of the most beautiful wine estates within just a few minutes. Overall, our stay was extremely pleasant, safe, relaxing, and special. We would happily come back anytime and can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation.

Elegant, quiet luxury. Loved the small, boutique feel with not too many rooms of people. Modern yet traditional. Amazing views and extremely friendly staff. Great location too - such a bonus being able to walk to the main part of town.

The nice decorated rooms. The wineyards around the house. The great breakfast and sweet staff. Close safe walk to mainstreet with restaurants in 400meter. Even at night. The great Franschhoek area with wine farms.

The owners where not at the location. Fully outsourced to the staff Crane for shower very difficult to adjust. So you spill a lot of warm water. ( thermostaat crane would be the solution)

Everything. This accommodation is faultless in my opinion. A gorgeous little hotel with the most amazing views around it and so much attention to detail. A short walk into town I would stay here again in a heartbeat - did not want to leave!!

A perfect location on the outskirts of Franschhoek. Beautiful drive in and a peaceful setting amongst the vineyards. It had a real elegance about it and our room was beautiful. We will return definitely.

Beautifully decorated, furnished and comfortable accommodation in excellent location, walking distance to all Franschoek amenities. Quiet and relaxing place to chill by pool on hot days. Gorgeous breakfast served daily. Wonderful and attentive staff - nothing too much trouble. Fridge in room with tea and coffee making facilities. Honesty bar in communal lounge. Really enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend.

Statt mit Klimaanlage hätten wir gerne mit offenen Fenster geschlafen, aber es fehlen, wie meist in Südafrika, die Moskitonetze vor den Fenstern.

Séjour très confortable, dans un cadre agréable et personnel adorable.

We particularly liked our bedroom which had great views and was very roomy and spacious. The staff were delightful especially Deano who was very engaging and pleasant - couldn’t do enough for us.

Cape Vue is a real gem in walking distance of Franschoek Main Street. The moment we arrived Dino described it perfectly: „You arrive as a guest and become family“ The garden, the pool area, the indoor lounge with a perfectly equipped bar where you can pour yourself a drink and the room with beautiful interior, bathroom and a private outdoor seating are just beautiful. Walking distance to town is max. 10 min and perfectly safe. Everything here felt just easy going and thought after at the same time.

Size of the location (small) and that it was close to the town

The pool was very small, and compared to other hotels in the same price range in the area, there weren’t many amenities. Breakfast ok. It was quite basic, and it was clear that a proper host was missing.

Schöne und grosszügige Zimmer mit direktem Zugang zu gepflegtem Garten. Die Lage sehr ruhig und sicher. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr zu emfehlen.

Wunderschönes Farmhaus mitten im Grünen. Toller Pool. Zimmer geräumig und hübsch, Badezimmer in Ordnung.

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön. Das Zimmer war super schön eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man nur gebrauchen kann. Der Ausblick von der Veranda ist unvergleichlich. Und auch das Personal war extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend!

Everything was just perfect! Dino, the manager, and the staff were excellent hosts and happy to assist where possible. The wine we received as part of our package was a nice treat, and we enjoyed having it outside at the pool area with the mountains creating the perfect backdrop. Will definitely be back.

Cape Vue Country House is the perfect place to stay in Franschoek. It’s beautifully designed, spacious, has incredible views. Dino was an incredible host and couldn’t have been more helpful. I highly recommend that you stay here, you wont be disapointed!

The charm of the property was so lovely! Like an english country house! The room was very spacious as well. It was also very close to Franschhoek town center (walkable!!)

The views were unreal! Staff friendly and helpful, and made my birthday extra special. It was fabulously located, within walking distance to restaurants. And the super king bed so comfortable.

Pool was on the small side and not heated. The room keys were a bit fiddly and our bath plug let out water but these were minor points to a majorly positive stay.

Great location a few minutes walk from the shops and restaurants but away from any hustle and bustle. Lovely setting with Mountain View. Breakfast was superb, excellent eggs Benedict. Staff friendly nothing was too much trouble.

Food was amazing. I am vegan and the chef went out of his/her way to create delicious cooked breakfasts. They really made a huge effort to make sure I didn't get a second-best experience - I was never made to feel my diet was an inconvenience.

I really cannot fault Cape Vue. I paid more for my stay than I planned to - but got way more than the extra money's worth! It is a small place and they obviously make every effort with every single guest.

Beautiful views and locations, rooms were spectacular, clean and friendly, helpful staff. The host was the star of the show by giving us advice, making us feel at home and booking reservations for restaurants if needed.

Fabulous location with amazing views of the mountains and vineyards. Beautiful accommodation, extremely clean and comfortable. Fantastic hospitality from all the staff but especially Dino, who took time to chat with us each morning.

What can I say! The most beautiful property in the most amazing setting. Felt like a home from home. The most welcoming team to greet up and felt like we were staying with family. Suck a welcoming place and we loved the free range style of hosting with the help yourself bar and relaxed atmosphere. We loved our stay and already looking into dates we can come back for a longer visit!
