Staff not polite as expected, no elevator, bathroom is too far away from the rooms, no sockets in common areas !!!

L'auberge AEKKEKO fait partie de nos coups de cœur pour notre voyage en sac à dos en Thaïlande. Nous avons fait des auberges comme des hôtels et c'est peut-être là où on s'est sentis le mieux. Il y règne une atmosphère particulière tant chaleureuse que libre. Toutes les commodités sont très correctes (tout est propre !), il y a du café, du thé et de l'eau en libre service, un espace cuisine et détente au rez-de-chaussée et au premier. Ne changez rien... Gardez cet esprit d'accueil simple et nous continuerons à venir "dans votre maison".

On pourrait peut-être ajouter une petite lampe de chevet dans la chambre double pour éviter d'allumer la grande lumière et un petit miroir, ou un miroir dans le grand patio à l'étage.

The hostel was clean and located right inside the old town which gives a traditional authentic vibe. They have a water dispenser with hot kettle and utensils in the common area. There are sit outs at the 1st floor as well as the ground floor to spend leisure hours. It was easy to reach from airport (the bus stop is 300 m away). Lot of restaurants shops including the night market besides the hostel. Bed and toilets are clean too. Had a good sleep..

The hostel staff don't like late check in or check out. It's difficult to find someone near the reception most of the time. They prefer guests to be back to hostel by 10pm. They have only two toilets and two bathrooms in the ground floor for all guests but beds to sleep are located in the first floor. It's a bit uneasy for guest who need easy access to bath rooms, No visitors or any other person is allowed in the premises except the guest. I had to do a self check out leaving the key at the reception as no one was there.

Podría tener AC en las áreas comunes y no solo ventiladores. Se mantiene relativamente fresco, pero por momentos hace falta.

The hostel has comfortable places to relax, including a net like a giant hammock next to a wall covered in plants. It was very relaxing. It is right in Old Town Phuket, which is amazing!

It took me a minute to figure out how to turn on the shower. I prefer hostels that offer breakfast, but Aekkeko has several cafés nearby and a street with fresh fruit stands right around the corner, so it wasn't a significant inconvenience.

The staff do not speak English.

Great location in the old town. Just a really great feel to the hostel from the moment you walk in. Friendly, helpful staff 🙂.

I stayed here for the second time, this time in a mixed dorm. It was comfortable although I prefer female dorm as there is less snoring. The bed was comfortable and there is hot water and drink water downstairs. The hostel staff helped me to take my luggage up and down the stairs.

The AC was set too cold and I had to use my down coat at night as a cover. One roommate was snoring horribly. I would replace the air freshener in the toilet with a more natural one as the one smelling of moth balls is toxic.

What a place, I really enjoyed to stay here.

Das Hostel hat eine wirklich tolle Lage! Rs gibt einen kostenlosen water-refill und die Klimaanlage im Dorm hat super funktioniert und außerdem ist das Hostel sehr stylisch!

Die Dorms waren oben im Haus und die Badezimmer unten. Das war etwas ungünstig, wenn man nachts aufs Klo musste. Ich fand die Bettwäsche iunbequem, irgendwie zu "glatt". Auch könnte auch mal zwischen Matratze und Wand genutzt werden. Es war nicht so sauber. Im Hostel hingen außerdem verschiedene Zettel, die ich als zynisch und unsympathisch empfinde (siehe Foto). Es wirkt so, als wäre man eher genervt von Gästen. Ich glaube diese Hinweise, kann man auch netter formulieren

Great location in the centre of the old town. Room was modern and clean. The shared bathroom was the cleanest and best equipped we’ve seen in two months travelling! Communal areas were nice and the staff were lovely too! Highly recommended.

Es hat mir so gut gefallen, dass ich auf jeden Fall wieder ein Hostel buchen würde. Die Lage am Rande der Altstadt war für uns perfekt. Gemeinschaftsbad war tipptopp.

Tremendous place. Really tremendous. One of the best, maybe the best in the area, people are saying it. Very fancy, very classy. And the location is incredible. Just 8 minutes walking to the Sunday market in the Old Town. You step outside, boom, you’re basically there. Fantastic. We stayed in a private room. Let me tell you, it was luxurious. Not just nice, but luxurious. The mattress was so comfortable. I know comfort. I understand comfort better than anybody. Slept like a champion. The garden view was very pleasant. Calm, beautiful, very relaxing. You look outside and you feel good. That’s what you want. And the bathroom is premium finish. Top quality. Gorgeous rain shower head, strong water pressure, the way it should be. Plenty of shower gel and shampoo. They don’t skimp, which I like. Hairdryer right there in the room. Very convenient. Very smart.Tea and coffee available at reception. Nice touch. Classy touch. Overall, a fantastic stay. Luxury, comfort, great location. We love that. Would absolutely stay again. Five stars. Maybe more.

Tout était parfait, un écrin de calmes et de sérénités dans une ville très fréquentée. J’ai adoré cette hostel et pourtant je n’ai plus 20ans 😉

It was a very clean hostel in a central location. Despite being right in the old town, it was quiet. The staff were super friendly.

The owner made me feel a bit anxious, as there were notes with his complaints posted everywhere, which made me worry about doing something wrong. It’s really just a place to sleep — if you’re looking for a hostel vibe, this is probably not the right place.

Top Lage in Phuket Old Town. Schönes Hostel mit geräumigen Dorm Betten. Personal sehr entgegen kommend, konnte meinen Aufenthalt ohne Probleme verkürzen.

Hostel molto carino, posizione centrale ottima, staff disponibile, servizio di lavanderia fantastico.

Molti prodotti abbandonati nel bagno femminile, creerei un angolo apposito e chi ha bisogno può prendere/usare.

The location and the common areas in the hostel were very very cute! You'll just want to stay inside and read. They have water and a small cute kitchen on the first floor.

The upper bunk was so high it was really hard to climb up and down. The toilets are only on the first floor, so if you're staying on the second, it can be uncomfortable, and they weren't always clean. I booked this hostel because of the social activities they had listed, but nothing was going on, it was so quiet. I stayed for 1 night, but I could have skipped it.

Nadie me atendió cuando llegué, nadie me informó de absolutamente nada tuve que adivinar cuál era mi cuarto y mi número de cama! En la habitación me dieron apenas una sábana para taparme! La verdad que con el precio que pagué y el servicio deja mucho que desear

Only minor inconvenience is that you need to take shoes on and off to go to the bathroom as it's outside from the accommodation, but still full marks !!

Un excellent rapport qualité-prix en dortoir pour un emplacement en plein coeur de la vieille ville, mais sans les désagréments sonores.

L'espace sanitaire éloigné des chambres, surtout pour la nuit. Comme souvent dans les dortoirs il manque de quoi "poser" ses affaires (plus de patères, tablette vers le lit...).

The location is great and I also liked how spacious the place is. I hate keeping my luggage in the dorm cause it crams the place up so I found it very comfortable that there's a lot of common space making it easy to do anything that you think might be a bit too noisy for your dorm.

The bathrooms are on the ground floor and so if you're on the first floor, it's a long way to just find a bathroom in the middle of the night especially. Some mirrors in the common space would be great too.

Right inside the old town, surrounded by the beautiful old architecture buildings, beautiful streets, cafés and restaurants. The hostel itself has an old heritage vibe, beautifully maintained. Clean and aesthetic lobby with a small library. Comfortable beds and Clean toilets.

Очень хороший отель. Тихий. Расположен в самом сердце старого города. Чистый. Уютный. Очень хороший персонал. Всегда приветливы, улыбаются. Молодцы! Обязательно приеду ещё раз!

Можно немного улучшить зону на первом этаже в районе оранжереи. Там земля, можно положить кирпичи или плитку. Уютнее было бы.
