Mi Kha Homestay

The homestay is run by a really lovely couple. Cam greeted us with a cup of tea and made us feel at home. The room was comfortable, with a lovely outlook on to the front garden. It was very peaceful inside despite being so close to the road.

The room had a little bit of a musty smell, I think it just needed some airing out, but it was perfectly fine for the night we stayed.

The host was very welcoming and spoke good English. She took her time to explain everything and gave us good tips for cafe restaurant and what to do in hoi an. The location is not far from the old town and only a few minutes by taxi from the beach. I would go there again thank you for your hospitality.

Location, price

Soap would be great and maybe investment into newer bikes 🙂

Perfect location if you are coming or going to travel by bus-> close to the busstation.

..

Het bed was erg comfortabel

Dat je alleen in de avond warm kon douchen

Kim is really great . She waited for me until midnight to check in.

None

Owner was really kind and helpful

Clean room, comfortable bed, strong aircon, good hot water pressure, quiet at night. Cam was a great host, good communication and hospitality.

Nothing.

The bed was so comfortable! The shower was nice and hot with good water pressure! The host was so kind- she woke up in the middle of the night to help us check in and get settled. The room was a great value- we were so happy to find this room last minute!

Amazing host (Cam), will help you with anything!

The owner will really look after you and make your stay the best it can be. 100% the comfiest softest largest beds on our travels and very clean all around the homestay! Very perfect location for catching a bus on your travel route in/out as it’s right next door. Free bicycles and only 15 min cycle to the beach plus full day scooter hire for 150,000. Would highly recommend you to stay here :)

Nothing

Cam the owner was very hospitable and kind, she gave us tons of information on the area and Vietnam. The Homestay is a great value and would definitely stay here again.

Spacious room and huge bathroom, everything was clean and you have a balcony. Great location which is quiet and yet a walking distance from the old quarter. The host will take good care of you, help you plan your stay, give recommendations and book a bus for your next destination. They welcomed me in the middle of the night which is not taken as granted.

We had a great stay at Mi Kha during our trip to Hoi An. Cam was extremely friendly and welcoming, gave us personalised recommendations and was happy to help with all of our questions. The room was spacious with good air con, and a big and comfortable bed. The location was great, we could walk everywhere we needed within the Old Town, and we used the bikes to visit the beach and nearby rice fields. Mi Kha place is a 'proper' homestay (as opposed to some others that are advertised as homestays but are more like hotels) and Cam made us feel very welcome in her home. We did try to avoid late nights with this in mind, as we didn't want to disturb her and her family.

Bikes were a little old but we can't really complain considering we could use them for free!

Cam was all that the previous reviews have said. Very helpful with local advice and with booking onward travel. Always smiling, the welcome cup of ginger tea after a slow hot train journey was most welcome. This is a stay with a warm welcoming family. The nearby recommended vegetarian restaurant Minh hien has food to die for. We went both days as their set menu is heavenly

On the first night the bar across the road was noisy due to a televised soccer match but all the noise died down by 10pm. There were no noise from the bar on our second night.

I travelled here with my sister and we loved everything about this property. The location is great, right in the middle between the old town and the beach. Our room was spacious and clean. Cam, the host, is a very friendly and helpful person. She recommended us different things to do but also local restaurants where to eat. Bicycles are also provided here for free.

Nothing, wish we could have stayed longer

Everything! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It's located in the center (just 10 minutes walking from the old town) but so peaceful in night. The best thing that made us love our stay here was Cam. She's very friendly and always willing to help us. The cooking class, Cham island and transfer to Da nang that booked from Cam were good and very cheap. Thank you for everything Cam!

Nothing at all

The owner is lovely. She will help you with all your questions and helped me booking my next bus transfer. I can recommened the my son tour which their offer. The breakfast is also good. The location is perfect because it is half way to the old City and the beach. The bed was comfortable for me.

Minor issue. The bicycles could need a fresh up.

Amazing home with the sweetest host. Cam was so kind and open to helping us around Hoi An. Booked us things to do, travel to the airport and made us lovely food. The room was brilliant. Spacious, super clean, comfy big bed and great air con. The best value for money we have found in Asia over our 2 month trip. Free bicycle’s to use whenever you want. 10 out of 10 stay. Was so comfortable here. Highly recommend.

The host was very helpful and assisted with scooter rent and booked us a cooking class/basket boat tour. The location was close to the centre and the host arranged us the pick up service from train station and drop off to airport.

Unfortunately, there were a few cockroaches in the room, but the host reacted quickly and got rid of them.

Beautiful place with the nicest host. She helped us with so much and made our stay in Hoi An memorably great.

Cam and the team are amazing hosts! They looked after us perfectly from delicious breakfast to organising lots of tours and trips and letting us use the bikes! We would definitely recommend! They also kindly contacted us to offer transport from the train station in Danang which was greatly appreciated!

Clean comfortable room and bed a dream. Good breakfast choice, good location. Cam (host) exceptional. She booked our trips for us, organised pick ups, researched bus/train times. We had use of cycles also. Would definately recommend Mi Kha Homestay.

Nothing not to like

The owner of the homestay was very helpfull and fixed a lot of transport for our next destination. The beds were nice & soft and the shower was hot. Breakfas and drinks were good and affordable.

It could be a little cleaner.

Amazing stay and hosts, recommend

By arrival we were received with a big smile and a glass of ginger tea. We could check in earlier which was great and use the bicycles voor free. The breakfast was good and the mattresses were also very comfortable.

Cleaning can definately be better. For a 9,5 rating you would expect a way cleaner place. Airco sometimes made a lot of noise. Definately needs maintenance. You dont get water or tea in the room or at breakfast. You always have to pay for it. So far we had over 20 hotels and hostels in Vietnam and Thailand and normally we get a couple of small bottles of water in the room.

Location was perfect for us. Just a bike ride away from the beach( 1 straight road). The homestay is just a 3 min walk to the old town. The area where the homestay is, is quit and save. The room is very spacious, clean and has a big bathroom. Cim is lovely and helped us a lot. Breakfast was delicious and prepared on the spot. We highley recomment to stay here.

We had a great time at Mi Kha's Homestay - she is a lovely host and helped us with everything. She even gave us two bikes to explore the beautiful city and surroundings!

The hosts were super friendly and sweet. understands English enough to communicate easily. Rooms were clean. If you like cycling you get free cycles to ride around the hoi an city. You can also rent a bike with small price for a day.
