Simple clean secure and quiet - perfect

Coffee machine in foyer was in maintenance mode

everything was fine but no where to put any clothes .but for 1 or 2 nights it is fine.

no where to put your clothes.

Reasonable clean, and basic. All you need for staying overnight. It is not all-inclusive holiday type of hotel. It is however good for a city break. Spend time outside and come to take shower and sleep.

The location is very close both to the center and the train station. All was fine. The air conditioning was wonderful during one of the heat waves.

The room is quite small, so does not have a table. It would be better to have a larger hanger for clothes.

For the first time we had a little problem with the bedding but that got sorted by Shaun straight away and my wife and I will be back soon. Mr and Mrs Denniff

love how central it is and how close it is to the train station. Also love that they do £5 to leave your suitcase for the day which helped a lot as check out is very early at 11 and our train wasn’t until 4 . Staff were all lovely and so helpful and the card system for getting into the building is great.

I thought checkout would be 12 however it was 11. The rooms are alright the bed isn’t comfortable and tv remote wouldn’t work. Also you can tell that the room had a big leak previously as all the walls at the top and the ceiling were discoloured in the shapes of water marks.

all good exactly what you see is what you get. good Budget hotel location great and price was awesome. Reduced rate for car parking is really good make sure you book it or your car park will be the same price as the room.

TV was so high on wall impossible to watch but not a real problem as only booked it as a drop in sleep and leave hotel.

We spent two nights at the hotel and had a very positive experience. It was easy to find and conveniently located close to everything we needed. The cleanliness was an especially pleasant surprise, and during the heatwave, the excellent air conditioning made all the difference, allowing us to have a comfortable and restful night’s sleep. What stood out most, however, was the staff. They were exceptionally professional, welcoming, and kind throughout our stay, adding even more to our already positive experience. For a budget hotel, it genuinely exceeded our expectations. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

The only significant downside was the bathroom design. The en suite is separated from the bedroom by a glass door, which offered very little privacy and made the situation quite awkward, particularly as we were travelling with a child. Unfortunately, bathroom related sounds and smells carried directly into the sleeping area, making it feel as though the toilet was essentially in the same room. A more private and better insulated bathroom design would considerably improve the overall guest experience.

The hotel is in a good location, very convenient, close to shops and a short walk from the station. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Not much room for luggage so probably not great for longer breaks but ideal for short breaks, the room has everything you need like a towel, toiletries and a clean comfortable bed.

Faulty bathroom door - would not close properly. Glass bathroom door did not provide adequate privacy (plus did not lock). Location of TV far too high to comfortably watch. Lack of storage and surfaces to place items on (can be fixed with shelving on the windowless wall)

Wasn’t enough towels provided Wasn’t enough pillows and pillows that was provided was flat. Green light from the aircon unit made the room too light when trying to sleep. Didn’t sleep at all, all night.

The lady who checked us in had amazing customer service. So polite and helpful. Didnt catch her name but she was brilliant. Room is basic for what we paid. Fine for a quick stay.

Shower floor was slippery, would be useful to get some gripped flooring in the shower. The double bed was a small double not an actual double size.

The absolute best location in the city center, right next to the tram station and taxi stop, KFC, Mcdonald, Greggs, Wendy's, savers, Lidl, B&M and more only a few steps away! Clean, friendly, easy to check in and out and the room while small was functional and had lovely air con.

Honestly have to be very picky to find a negative. The room is small, but it's right in the best location in the city and they manage to be one of the cheapest at the same time so of course they're going to want to fit the most rooms in that they can get. It could do with a wardrobe maybe? Not that I was bothered as I lived out of my bag.

Easy location, 2 mins from town centre, outside tram stop. Nice aircon in room, especially in UK heatwave.

First off, walls were paper thin, could hear every conversation going. Bed was like a rock and I had no duvet, it was a literal sheet with a hole that’s disintegrated from use. Suspicious stains on wall, wallpaper missing. No bedside table or place to put case/stuff out such. I was lucky I had a spare bed as was a lone traveller so could lay out clothes on spare bed. But if you are staying with more than 1, hopefully you know the person well as there is not much walkroom so you’d have to climb over the other sleeping. Not to mention the shower, or lack of, it was literally fallen apart so I had to screw it on every morning. Was bit worrying when leaving, |I found out the hotel was outside a literal crime scene, not the hotel's fault but worrying how much antisocial behaviour is around the hotel.

It was just a stopping point for sleep so we had a cheaper room with enough beds for 4 and a shower each. The beds were comfortable but could do with a second pillow. Loved having air conditioning!

Our room flooded with the second shower and no one came to check it out just gave my husband towels to clean it up. Some of our stuff got really wet as well. I also wouldn't go for the windowless style room again in a hurry, the hallways had a 'no air' feeling. It would have been better if there was a couch to sit on to see the TV with the world cup currently on!

Very easy to check in. Staff were friendly and gave me an extra pillow. The lifts worked well and you were never waiting long for one. Room was clean and shower was well pressured and at the right temperature.

It's not the best location - there was a lot of trouble outside the hotel every night of my stay. One night the hotel was even surrounded by police tape and I had to ask officers if I could get inside after there had been an incident in the street. The pillows were very thin and the mattress was hard.

Room was rediculously small for 3 people, there was no window, the shower/bathroom door was essentially broken and there was no privacy in the shower room - the door was glass and none of us were comfortable using the bathroom infront of eachother. Most of all there was no window, It felt so suffocating and boxed in. (Also no kettle/coffee facilities in the room). This room should not be for 3 people.

The rooms are small and bathrooms are glass/see through with no locks so not really for sharing. The immediate area is not nice, lots of drunks.

It was in a great location for ponds forge. Car parking was cheap using the code provided by the hotel. £17.60 for 48 hours. Staff were friendly and available 24hrs. Hairdryer provided was good on request.

Room was tiny. Barely space to put any luggage. Bathroom door didn’t shut let alone have a lock on it. Was a glass wall with a frosted section through the middle. Nothing to make tea/ coffee in the room.

While I had expected the room to be small with the price in mind, having no table at all was annoying.
