It was traditional and well located in the Medina

The property was very nice but the bed was very hard

Il Dar è molto bello e curato nei dettagli. Bella la vista dalla terrazza e squisita la colazione nel cortile. Ma il punto forte di Dar Baaziz è sicuramente l'host Mariem, una persona splendida, solare, simpatica e pronta ad aiutare per ogni necessità. Siamo stati davvero molto bene con lei e ci siamo sentiti a casa! Consigliatissimo!

LOCAL UM POUCO DIFÍCIL PRA ENCONTRAR . MAS O RESTANTE MARAVILHOSO. LINDO, LIMPO, BANHEIRO MUITO BOM, CAMA CONFORTÁVEL, ORGANIZADO, ATENÇÃO NOTA MIL COM OS HOSPEDES. DENTRO DA MEDINA. FIZEMOS TUDO QUE QUERÍAMOS COM TRANQUILIDADE.

ESTAVA TUDO PERFEITO. ATENDIMENTO GENTIL E CUIDADOSO.

Η Μαριάμ ήταν εξυπηρετική και πάντα πρόθυμη να βοηθήσει. Μας άφησε να μείνουμε και περισσότερο στο δωμάτιο την τελευταία μέρα. Ωραία διακόσμηση στα δωμάτια. Καλό κλιματιστικό. Στην Μεδίνα σε ήσυχη γειτονιά.

Είχαμε κλείσει σουίτα με δύο δωμάτια αλλά η Booking.com έκλεισε και σε άλλον επισκέπτη το ίδιο δωμάτιο. Η εξαιρετική Μαριάμ βρήκε την λύση κ μας έδωσαν δύο δωμάτια. Θα μπορούσε το πρωϊνό να έχει περισσότερα πχ τυρί.

Accoglienza e disponibilità super! Camera enorme (5 letti 😍), meterasso comodissimo e colazione (da farsi nella struttura principale) molto buona e ricca. Ottima posizione Lo consiglio!

Manca un frigorifero in camera, necessario per tenere in fresco qualcosa condiderando il caldo atroce di agosto.

La posizione centrale, la colazione abbondante e la signora che ci lavora gentilissima e super disponibile

La gentilezza di Mariem, la signora che gestisce il Dar. La vista dalla terrazza.

Ambienti comuni un po' datati che necessitano di ristrutturazione.

L'accueil est formidable. La maison est très propre. Le petit déjeuner est très bien également. Le seul bémol est comment arriver à la maison, malgré l'itinéraire, ça reste un peu compliqué de s'y rendre depuis Ben Gharbi.

La qualité de l'accueil et la propreté.

Le riad est sympa dans la médina de Sousse. Typique, sommaire. Propriétaire très sympathique, son aide a été précieuse pour trouver le stationnement et le riad.

Les lits sont très durs, literie moyenne.

El lavabo necesita una reforma y la ducha muy pequeña

El lugar es como una casa "Dar" con habitaciones con terraza y un patio muy bonito. La habitación que nos tocó era muy pintoresca con decoración típica. El alojamiento en general es sensillo y sin grandes lujos. Sin embargo, destaca su caliez. ¡Abdou ha sido un excelente host! nos esperó con el aire acondicionado encendido. Lo que agradecimos por el intenso calor de la época. Su atención fue sin duda lo más destacable del alojamiento. El desayuno que servía cada mañana estaba muy bien y una noche nos ofreció cocinarnos la cena, que estaba riquísima. La experiencia de alojarse en este Dar, sin duda es algo que recomendamos para quien busca acercarse a la cultura tunesina.

De point de vu maison, équipement et propreté c'est acceptable,

Situation géographique est vraiment hors de mes attentes, maison n'a pas de fenêtres ni balcon, une fois tu es dedans tu restes isolé du monde extérieur , en plus une fois égarer sa voiture qui reste sans sécurité, il faut faire une distance de 300m au moins pour arriver à la maison , les rues qui y emmènent sont aiguis et non appréciables, une maison juste pour dormir ni plus ni moins

The architecture and the design of the guest house was stunning. The room was really beautiful and the host was very nice and kind.

L'emplacement est idéal en pleine Médina, le personnel est très disponible et réactif, et le petit déjeuner est fabuleux. Très beau bâtiment historique, propre et accueillant c'était une très bonne surprise !

Les installations sanitaires mériteraient un petit rafraîchissement, mais tout est fonctionnel et pratique

M. Abdessamie nous a réservé un accueil très chaleureux et nous a fait trouver une chambre parfaitement propre. L'hôtel est situé dans un emplacement de choix dans la médina et très pratique pour se promener ou voyager à l'intérieur du pays. Le petit déjeuner était soigneusement préparé. Recommandé sans hésitations!

Magnifique Dar traditionnel avec des belles chambres et une magnifique terrasse sur le toit.

Le petit déjeuner est parfait, la qualité. de l'accueil est exceptionnelle par le gérant particulièrement gentil. Il est venu au devant de nous malgré ses difficultés à marcher

An interesting old guest house with lots of character located in an excellent location in the Medina. The host accommodated us early and was very informative and helpful in arranging for a driver. It has a nice view from the rooftop terrace and a beautiful court yard to enjoy breakfast which was very good.

Nel cuore della Medina anche se nella parte nord-ovest è c’è da fare 300 metri a piedi coi bagagli in mezzo a stradine diciamo poco pulite. La terrazza ancora da sistemare. Colazione ok, ma manca qualcosa di dolce e salato o qualche succo. Bagno molto piccolo con porta della doccia sostituita da tenda…

The arhitecture of the place - like an old riad type of house with inner courtyard. The rooms were also nicely decorated and giving us a homy vibe. The breakfest is rich and generous. The location is right in the heart of the city. The beds are confortable.

The water wasnt hot for more then 2-3 people taking a shower. This happend for the entire duration and the owner didnt manage to fix. If is raining there is no place to hang around as the court yard is open air. For the room that has a toilet outside you need to cross the entire courtyard to use - which is not cool as is cold or rainy. The shared toilets and shower are very small - like for very tiny people.

L’emplacement au cœur de la médina, le calme

Mr Abdessamia, the host, was so kind and thoughtful. The location is phenomenal .. inside the medina walls! The museum is a few minutes away, the medina shopping a couple of minutes down narrow alleys. The area around Dar Baaziz is residential so its lovely to see kids going to school. The local women were so helpful whenever I lost my way (often!).The rooms are simply gorgeous. Traditional style just like in the photos. The courtyard as well as being where breakfast is served is a cool retreat to relax in.

Everything was great but this is an old family home. The bathrooms are also old! Speaking French (or Arabic) would help. As an English speaker it was difficult at times . English was listed as a language spoken when I booked but it is not. As with the rest of Tunisia the gluten free requirements of people with Coeliac Disease is not commonly understood. The general breakfast- bread and spreads, croissant, egg, fruit, coffee or tea. My breakfast - egg, fruit, coffee or tea. No alternatives offered even though North Africa has the highest rate of Coeliac Disease in the world.

Bellissima casa Tunisina nel cuore della Medina. Bel patio interno dove viene servita la colazione è bellissimo terrazzo con vista. Prenotato la tripla “suite mhamed” al piano terra con bagno privato: camera grande con soppalco e 2 letti matrimoniali. Ottima la colazione (uovo sodo, pane marmellata , salsa al grano , fetta di torta , tutto fatto in casa) . Gentilissima la famiglia che gestisce. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

Wi-Fi un po’ scarso nelle camere più distanti , la nostra era vicino all’ingresso e si riusciva a navigare.

Le gérant est adorable et et aux petits soins. Il parle parfaitement français et nous a recommandé de bonnes adresses. Le lieu superbe : maison traditionnelle dans la médina. La chambre fonctionnelle et superbe. Un chouette rooftop et un patio bien agréable pour le petit déjeuner.

La vue de la terrasse. Le déjeuner était bien.

La chambre, trop petite pour l’ameublement, était prête mais malpropre à notre arrivée ainsi que la terrasse (très poussiéreuse). L’hôte a rapidement rétabli la situation. La chambre avait une odeur de renfermé et d’humidité qui a persisté malgré le nettoyage.

Tout, le personnel, la situation, le calme et le petit déjeuner . Propriétaire très serviable. Je recommande.

La struttura è veramente molto bella, in una posizione fantastica nel cuore della medina. È dotata di una corte interna in cui viene servita un'ottima colazione (il caffè migliore bevuto in tutto il viaggio in Tunisia!). C'è anche una terrazza panoramica. I gestori sono stati molto gentili e accoglienti e il rapporto qualità-prezzo è davvero eccezionale: speriamo di tornare presto!

Chambre d'hôtes authentique, chez l'habitant, au centre de la Médina (cependant au calme). Hôte très aimable et arrangeant.

L’emplacement dans la médina est parfait . C’est facile d’accès même avec une voiture . Nous y avons passé une nuit très agréable.

L'host è stato davvero gentilissimo e molto disponibile. Posizione ottima e la sala in cui abbiamo fatto colazione era bellissima.

La stanza non è nuovissima e in alcuni punti poco curata. Ma per il prezzo pagato è più che sufficiente

Très beau bâtiment et patio, avec une décoration traditionnelle en céramique et bois, en plein coeur de la médina, très calme, avec terrasse panoramique, lit confortable, avec clim/chauffage, possibilité de diner le soir sur commande, hôtes accueillants

L’esprit traditionnel de la maison dans la médina. L’hôte qui nous a permis de décaler notre nuit d’une semaine! Et qui nous a attendu malgré notre retard par rapport à l’heure d’arrivée prévue. La vue depuis la terrasse sur le toit de la maison

Nous n’étions pas dans la maison principale mais dans une autre les photos ne correspondent donc pas à l’établissement dans lequel nous avons séjourné. Grosse déception car la première maison est bien plus charmante! Heureusement que le petit déjeuner était dans celle-ci. Nous aurions aimé être prévenu avant.

La atención de Abdou, que nos preparó desayuno antes de la hora habitual , porque teníamos que salir pronto para una excursión. Atento. Agradecimos.

Escogí pagar más precio por una habitación que denominan “suite” que en realidad tiene otra cama en un altillo , y que no da ninguna prestación extra si el alojamiento es para una pareja que duerme junta . No hay siquiera sensación de más amplitud porque está en un altillo. Las Instalaciones son anticuadas. El baño como mínimo requeriría un poco de reforma , y renovar detalles como mampara o la alfombra de plástico de la ducha, que no apetece pisar.

Exxellent location in a quiet corner of the Medina *which was well lit at night - felt we were in the true heart of Sousse. Short walk to a variety of restaurants as well as to the Museum and the Souks. We were warmly hosted by Mr Abdessmie and his wife. Great breakfast included. Loved the traditional decor and obvious history of the house. Grateful for the map sent via WhatsApp for locating the property.

- Supernetter Gastgeber, der auch etwas Deutsch spricht - die Lage in der Medina ist etwas versteckt, dafür aber auch herrlich ruhig - das Zimmer war nicht groß und schlicht eingerichtet, ich hab es aber als sehr gemütlich empfunden

- das WLAN hat nur höchst unzuverlässig funktioniert

Staying in the middle of traditional Sousse

Great breakfast, pleasant hosts, relaxing environment, amazing location

Beautiful old house in the old town. Small but nice equipped rooms. Magnificent view from the roof top terrace. Good typical breakfast.

Small room and bathroom. Very small tv. Around the house some dirty alleys with trash and dog poop. Asking for extra money for storing the luggage for a view hours at the departure day.

There is a terrace, it was spaceful and the host was helpful. Location was also great

Die Unterkunft liegt wunderschön in der Medina und man kommt von hier aus überall gut zu Fuß hin. Das Gebäude ist ein schönes traditionelles Haus mit einem herrlichen Innenhof und hübschen Balkonen bzw Erkern. Das Frühstück wird, wenn es draußen zu kühl ist, in einem hübsch gestalteten kleinen Raum gereicht. Alles ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen diese Unterkunft sehr gerne weiter.
