We usually keep Kempinski Muscat for special occasions, but this time it was reviving our self from a long travel to the real hospitality and true natural beach, food, spa and saloon. Mayisa Al-Busaidi Is our host usually she and her team from get go give us the warmth and welcome we cant simply go anywhere else. Amal checked us in assuring we are taken care of then the Lady in Red ensured our facility is having no issues. Overall a memory my kids will take back to London until next time. P.S this is not a forced review, services of the property are genuinely written due to the customer centric services of the people running the property.

I had a wonderful experience staying at the hotel and was very satisfied with the service. I would especially like to thank Ms. Atena for being extremely responsible, attentive, and professional. She followed up on everything carefully and always treated me with great respect and kindness. Her excellent service was truly worthy of a high-quality hotel. Staff are polite and friendly . Rooms are spacious , we booked the garden deluxe room which had direct access to the garden and pool area. Exceptional lobby design , you feel wonderful everytime that you enter this property for real . Pool with sea view and cool balanced temprature for this time of the year. Landscpaing is lovely and beautiful Definitely will come back !

What made our stay even more special was Atena. Throughout our stay, she was incredibly helpful, attentive, and thoughtful. She guided us whenever we needed anything and took the time to plan everything so carefully for us. Thanks to her, everything felt effortless and perfectly organized, and we always felt genuinely looked after. A special thank you to Atena for making our stay so memorable. This is not just your average review — so make a brew and sit down, because the Kempinski Hotel Muscat deserves more than a simple five stars! We have been fortunate enough to stay in some wonderful hotels around the world, but I can genuinely say that the hospitality we experienced at the Kempinski Muscat has been second to none — quite simply, the best we have ever received. Beautiful hotels are easy to find. Genuine hospitality — the kind that makes you feel remembered, cared for and almost reluctant to leave — is something entirely different. And that is where Kempinski stole our hearts. From the moment we arrived, we were never made to feel like simply another room number. Every interaction carried a warmth and sincerity that made us feel less like hotel guests and more like family. Mehdi at breakfast deserves a special mention. His care, attention and due diligence towards our needs were exceptional. He remembered the little things, anticipated what we needed and always greeted us with genuine warmth. Breakfast became something we looked forward to because of him. Then there were Rashid and Zakariyya at concierge — absolute stars! They went above and beyond to ensure our excursions around Oman were perfect, offering advice, checking arrangements and taking a genuine interest in our experiences. But one of my favourite things happened when we returned. We’d walk back into the hotel exhausted, sun-baked and ridiculously excited after another adventure, and the lobby team would ask how our day had been — and actually listen! 😂 They patiently heard our stories, laughed with us, asked questions and seemed to share our excitement. There was something incredibly heartwarming about coming “home” after a day exploring Oman to people who genuinely wanted to hear all about it. And that warmth wasn’t limited to a few individuals. The entire lobby team was wonderful. Every entrance and every return was met with smiles, conversation and kindness. That, for me, is what separates Kempinski Muscat from other luxury hotels. You can create beautiful rooms, spectacular facilities and impressive surroundings. But you cannot manufacture people who genuinely care. The hotel itself is stunning and the location in Al Mouj is wonderful, but when I remember this stay, I know the first thing I’ll remember won’t be the building. It will be the people. So thank you to Mehdi for looking after us every morning; to Rashid and Zakariyya for helping make our adventures so memorable; to the wonderful lobby team for every smile, every “welcome back” and for patiently listening to the director’s cut of our daily adventures 😂; and to every other member of staff whose name we unfortunately didn’t catch. Not once during our stay were we made to feel anything less than genuinely welcome and cared for. Five-star hotels provide luxury. Exceptional hotels provide service. But truly memorable hotels make you feel something. Kempinski Muscat did exactly that. We arrived as guests and genuinely felt as though we were leaving friends. Reception team were great upon our arrival and very helpful, rooms were very well maintained and clean, all staff we met in the Kitchen for breakfast were great too, special mention to Mina & Belal who looked after us around the pool, highly recommend the Pina Coladas!!

Went solo and it was my first time staying at the Kempinski. I was going to relax, unplug and unwind. Everything was perfect. The entry of the hotel is the start of this oasis. The seaview room was beautiful and the fact that they have the local @Luban brand in the bathroom is a huge plus. I wish they had more items from the range. The gym and spa are clean and well equipped. The spa treatments put me to sleep and I woke up with silky skin. Loved it! Breakfast was another pleasant experience. The choices and the quality were amazingly scrumptious. Dont miss the bread pudding, its to die for. Definitely coming back!

During the reservation process, I noticed that other hotels often required advance payments or insurance deposits. However, from the moment I booked at the Kempinski, the difference in the level of service was immediately clear. I was treated with trust and respect, and that trust made me feel even more confident in the hotel. Later, when I checked in, that same exceptional level of hospitality continued—from the reception desk all the way to the poolside staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, professional, and polite, always greeting me and my family with a genuine smile. I always say that a good holiday starts and ends at the hotel, and Kempinski certainly made my trip a memorable one from beginning to end.

Special appreciation to Suman (Hostess), Karan, and Sawrnit for their excellent teamwork and dedication. Suman welcomed every guest with a warm smile and ensured a smooth dining experience. Karan and Sawrnit were attentive, professional, and always ready to support both the guests and the team. We reached out to the Kempinski Hotel Muscat in advance, explaining that we would be arriving very early in the morning and asking whether an early check-in might be possible, as my wife was pregnant at the time. Not only did the hotel arrange this for us, but they also prepared a lovely gift in our room waiting for our arrival — an incredible and truly touching gesture that set the tone for the entire stay. From that moment on, everything was seamless. The instructions we received were clear and thoughtful, the service was outstanding, and the hotel itself was immaculately clean and well maintained throughout. What stood out most was how much consideration the staff showed towards my wife given her pregnancy — small gestures that made a real difference and were deeply appreciated. The beach experience was fantastic. Our sunbeds were prepared in by the staff, complete with towels ready and waiting. Water was always plentiful, and every so often a snack would be brought over without us even having to ask. This was our last trip as just the two of us before welcoming our little miracle, and the Kempinski Muscat made it truly special. We can't thank the entire team enough for such a warm, attentive, and memorable stay. Highly recommended to anyone looking for genuine luxury paired with real, heartfelt hospitality.

Zak from concierge you were amazing, providing us with the most outstanding service ever. Thank you for all the tips and advice and booking our swim with the turtles excursion. You are an asset to Kempinski. The hotel is in a fantastic location, set on a stunning beach with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere, making it the perfect place to relax while still being close to everything you need. It’s is only 10 minutes from the airport. It is walking distance to the Marina (area called the Walk) where there are numerous restaurants. The rooms were absolutely amazing—spacious, beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail reflected the luxury and quality that the Kempinski is known for. Thank you Sulaiman for upgrading us without asking. Jamie your hospitality and friendliness throughout stay was superb. The restaurants were exceptional, offering a fantastic variety of delicious food and impeccable service. The breakfast team provided an outstanding service. The hotel also boasts two wonderful swimming pools, providing plenty of space to relax, unwind, and enjoy the sunshine. Whether by the pool or on the beach, the facilities were first class. Bella and Mina at the pool were amazing as were the rest of the team ( can’t remember all the names) What truly made our stay unforgettable was the outstanding customer service. The team consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had the most enjoyable experience possible. A truly five-star experience in every sense. We made wonderful family memories and can’t recommend the Kempinski Hotel Muscat highly enough. We will definitely be back!

We were greeted by the most amazing and kind staff. The location was beautiful and breathtaking. Everyone here from the concierge, door man , to pool team are so polite and warm. It was our daughter’s 5th birthday and Miss Atenna was the most wonderful, and kindest manager who really made our trip. She made our daughter and us feel like royalty. I have traveled all of over the world to the nicest hotels and have never met someone as kind , caring, & warm as her. We will recommend this hotel to all of our friends and will come back here every year just because of her! Thank you Miss Atenna you made this trip a trip our daughter and us will never forget. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you for everything and can’t wait to come back ! We will be back every year at least once a year probably even more!

Pool bar at Kempinski is exemplary. Staff, Belal, Mina and Manuel served us well throughout our stay. Thankyou so much for looking after us with the Bud and the gin and tonics! Durai at the pool is also an asset to the Kempinski brand. He was so attentive and really looked after us in the sweltering heat with water and ice. He made sure we was looked after very well. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff around the pool and the pool bar. They strive to keep the area very clean and are always so polite and pleased to see us. They have made our stay even more memorable. The Kempinski Muscat has some fabulous staff members. Those in Zale, very also fantastic. Eloisa one of the managers was so knowledgable and so wonderful to talk too. But all the staff in Zale were so professional. Staff in the kitchen restaurant and Bukhara were amazing also. Thankyou for a wonderful stay.
