This was my second stay in this hotel, and it was as perfect as the first one. Situated in the heart of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, this historic hotel is a must-visit. Our room was clean and comfy, with a table and two chairs. The mattresses were good, so we had a nice rest. The breakfast was wonderful, with a variety of cold cuts, cheese, bread, fruits, cereal, etc. We were also offered eggs (however we wanted them cooked), hot and cold beverages. My father got tea and orange juice, while I got hot chocolate. Everything was delicious and filling.

A bit pricier than I would like it to be, but understandable, taking into account the historical value of the building.

A lovely old style hotel in the middle of Rothenburg. The room was very comfortable and quiet. A very nice breakfast was served in the morning. The parking at the rear was very convenient.

La posizione è eccezionale, a due passi dalla piazza principale. Eravamo di passaggio con una sola notte a disposizione quindi abbiamo avuto la possibilità di arrivare e fare subito il giro della città sfruttando anche il parcheggio disponibile (a pagamento) nella struttura.

Non c'è l'ascensore ma essendo un edificio storico è normale. Ovviamente è una valutazione che per alcuni può essere fondamentale.

Το βράδυ όταν τελείωσε η δουλειά του εστιατορίου άφησαν τα σκουπίδια στο δρόμο του πάρκινγκ κάτω από το παράθυρο που μέναμε με αποτέλεσμα όλοι η δυσοσμία να μπει στο δωμάτιο. Αναγκαστικά κλείσαμε τα παράθυρα αλλά το δωμάτιο δεν είχε airco οπότε ο ύπνος δεν ήταν και τόσο καλός λόγο ζέστης. Μείναμε ένα βράδυ.

Das Hotel befindet sich in einem der schönsten historischen Häuser direkt in der Altstadt von Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Dementsprechend sind die Räumlichkeiten und die Ausstattung an das historische Ambiente angepasst. Unser Zimmer war zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Das Bad war klein, die Dusche ausreichend groß. Jeden Tag wurde das Zimmer gereinigt. Toll war das Frühstück. Alle Speisen und Getränke wurden direkt am Tisch serviert. Dabei gab es eine große Auswahl am frischen Brötchen, Brot, Brezeln und anderem Gebäck, dazu eine große Auswahl an Aufschnitt, Käse, Konfitüre und vegane Produkte. Auf Wunsch gab es verschiedene Säfte und frisch zubereitete Eierspeisen. Eine begrenzte Anzahl an Parkplätzen standen direkt auf dem Hotelgelände für moderate € 9,00/Tag zur Verfügung. Fußläufig sind vom Hotel aus alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt erreichbar. Das hoteleigene Restaurant mit Biergarten hatte an den beiden Tagen unseres Aufenthaltes geschlossen, sodass wir dies nicht einschätzen können.

Unser Zimmer befand sich im ersten Stockwerk. Das Gepäck muss über eine Treppe ins Zimmer getragen werden, was für ältere Personen schwierig sein könnte. Im Zimmer wäre ein Safe, Kühlschrank wünschenswert. Während unseres Aufenthaltes war es nicht übermäßig heiß. Bei Temperaturen jenseits der 30 Grad Celsius wird es im nicht klimatisierten Zimmer sicher sehr warm. Da bringt der bereit gestellte Ventilator nur bedingt Abhilfe.

Tolles Frühstück. Beste Lage. Historisches Gebäude mit besonderer Geschichte

Man muss sich natürlich bewusst sein, dass bei dieser besonderen Lage die Zufahrt mit PKW nicht so einfach ist.

Die zentrale Lage in der Altstadt ist perfekt. Der Parkplatz (nicht kostenlos) direkt am Hotel ist sehr von Vorteil. Sehr freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal beim Frühstück. Unser Hund war willkommen (gegen Gebühr).

Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer ist ein klarer Minuspunkt. Sehr kleines Bad, fast ohne Möglichkeit etwas abzustellen. Sehr kleiner Fernseher. Die Bezeichnung "Komfort-Zimmer" ist in keiner Weise angebracht. Keine Rückmeldung/Antwort der Hotelinhaberin auf Nachrichten per Email.

The location of this property was incredible, right in the heart of the town, yet I didn’t hear any street noise at all! The breakfast was also very delicious, with kind and welcoming staff. I would 100% come back again.

Der kleine Biergarten lädt zum verweilen ein, da im Hinterhof auch ruhig gelegen. Frühstück war gut, es gab mehr als genug. Das Zimmer war klein, ruhig gelegen und sauber.

Der Abzug im Bad war ziemlich laut und ist lange gelaufen. Die Anfahrt zum Hotelparkplatz war ein Abenteuer. Es könnte besser ausgescgildert sein.

¡Nos encantó este hotel! El desayuno es, por mucho, de lo mejor que tuvimos durante nuestro viaje: muchísimas opciones, todo delicioso y los croissants estaban espectaculares, ¡de lo mejor! 🥐 La ubicación también es excelente. Aunque al llegar puede parecer que está un poco lejos del centro, ¡no se asusten! Caminando llegas en aproximadamente 8–10 minutos y la zona es muy bonita. También está muy cerca de la estación de tren; en Uber llegas rapidísimo y es muy fácil pedir el taxi. Incluso puedes caminar unos 30 segundos hasta la zona donde ya pueden recogerte porque el hotel está en una zona peatonal. Las instalaciones valen totalmente la pena, las camas son muy cómodas y la atención del personal fue excelente. Además, nos dejaron agua en el refrigerador para tomar, un detalle sencillo pero que se agradece muchísimo después de un día de caminar. La verdad, si hubiéramos tenido más días en Bratislava, me habría quedado mucho más tiempo en este hotel. Muy recomendable y, sin duda, volvería.

Me encantó el desayuno, especialmente los croissants, la excelente ubicación y la comodidad del hotel. Las instalaciones son muy bonitas, las camas súper cómodas y el personal muy atento. Aunque al llegar parece estar lejos, el centro está a solo 8–10 minutos caminando y la estación de tren queda muy cerca. ¡Me hubiera quedado más días sin duda!

We booked this accommodation because it was in the middle of our trip, well-priced, and had an outdoor pool, and I am glad we made this choice. The pool is lovely and there are plenty of play options for (small) children. The two beds in the loft of the apartment are indeed a bit small, but our children, aged 5 and 6, loved it. The host was very friendly and the wine was good.

The only thing that was a bit discomfort during our stay was that it gets hot in the apartment so a fan would be nice in the bedroom. Also keep in mind that its a small village and during the holiday period several restaurants were closed.

Ich hatte ein kleines gemütliches Einzelzimmer. Für mich war alles entspannt. Schnelles einchecken. Ruhige Lage und schnell im Ortskern. Ich war wegen dem Taubertal Fesrival dort.Ca. 20 Minutèn zum Gelände. Frühstück war für mich optimal.

Pur apprezzando la struttura storica alcuni aspetti sono migliorabili. Le camere e i bagni sono un po' spartani.

Perfekt läge mitt i gamla stan. Jättefint och fräscht rum. Rummet var rymligt och sängarna bekväma. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal, superbra service. Dusch och toalett var separata vilket passade oss jättebra då vi är en familj med två vuxna och två tonåringar.

Parkering inne på gården är lite trång om man har en större bil. Men vi fick hjälp av personalen att köra ut så det löser sig det med. 😊

Très bien placé au coeur de Rothenburg, avec un accès par l'arrière à quelques places de parking (à réserver impérativement). Chambre grande et confortable avec une très bonne isolation phonique (heureusement car le carillon du beffroi sonne toutes les heures !). Personnel très agréable et petits déjeuners très copieux.

Possède un restaurant, mais dont les cuisines ferment tôt (20h) et non ouvert le mardi. Pas trop problématique car pas mal de lieux pour dîner autour, mais un peu dommage je trouve pour l'établissement.

Das Hotel liegt zentral mit eigenem Parkplatz. Das gesamte Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Frühstück sehr reichhaltig . Schöner Biergarten nach hinten raus der sehr ruhig war. Speisen sehr lecker und Preis Leistung Top für die Lage.

Zimmer waren halt sehr altbacken gehalten, aber geräumig. Bad war neu gemacht.

Loved the charm of this wonderfully quaint hotel! The daily breakfast was absolutely delicious, served with such care and warmth. My daughter said she had one of the best hot chocolates ever! The beds were comfortable, bathroom very clean and spacious. A fan was provided.

The bathroom flooded a fair bit when I used the regular shower head. It was fine when I used the rain shower.

Hotellet slår op på, at det ikke er luksus men gamle værelser og skæve døre. Det lever de fuldt ud op til og det er også charmerende - men har aldrig sovet i seng, der var så hård som denne her. Så er man til bløde sende, så er det et minus.

Wonderful location within historic city center. Parking was fantastic, and not typical for locations within the city walls. Centrally located, making it easy to get everywhere. Breakfast was a terrific traditional German meal, with made to order eggs available as well. Historic building was amazing.

Recepção e atendimento a clientes atenciosos. Almoço muito bom no local. Quarto 03, com vista para a rua e parte da praça do mercado, excelente. Instalações antigas, atualizadas e muito bem conservadas. Para quem gosta de história, estará no local perfeito. Com estacionamento nos fundos, coisa rara em uma cidade antiga e neste caso totalmente murada.

Tudo muito bom.

Das Gasthaus liegt direkt am Markt. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Blick auf den Markt. Somit konnten wir unser Auto auf dem vorhandenen Parkplatz stehen lassen und alles sehr gut zu Fuß erkunden. Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sofort willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Das urige Ambiente des Gasthauses hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Das Essen im gemütlichen Biergarten war spitze. So leckere Bratwürste hatten wir noch nie gegessen. Das vom Personal empfohlene Hausbräu muss man probiert haben.

Leider haben wir nur am ersten Abend im hauseigenen Biergarten essen können, da danach Ruhetag war. Das war sehr schade bei der guten kulinarischen Versorgung.

Läget! Frukosten var bra, inte mer än så, man blev serverad vid bordet, ingen buffé.

Konstigt lukt på rummet, badrummet var väldigt litet. Inte helt rent på toaletten.

We had a wonderful stay at this elegant and charming hotel in the heart of the city. The location was perfect for exploring everything on foot. The hotel offers convenient parking, although getting in and out of the courtyard can be a bit tricky. Our room was comfortable, and the bed was excellent, ensuring a great night's sleep. Breakfast was delicious with a wide selection of fresh options, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. Overall, a lovely hotel with great service, and we would be happy to stay here again.

All staff were exceptionally kind and helpful! The food was delicious! Breakfast was more than plentiful, dinners were beautifully prepared and tasted great, and the plum crumble was the tastiest dessert, ever! Prime location in the Old Town/Altstadt. Ambiance of a historical hotel. Great outside terrace for drinks/dinner. 10 minutes to walk to/from train station.

There was a heat wave while I was there, so the room was very warm. I did have a small fan, but it didn't help cool down the room until early morning - out of hotel's control.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und hat zum Glück einen eigenen Parkplatz. Unser Zimmer war gemütlich und sehr sauber, ebenso das Bad. Das Frühstück wird an den Tisch gebracht und war sehr reichhaltig. Wir hatten jeden Morgen ein sehr leckeres Rührei. Die Mitarbeiterinnen waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Onze badkamer was wat aan de kleine kant, douche was uitstekend. We kwamen aan op maandag. Restaurant heeft rustdagen op dinsdag en woensdag, echter was een een feest voor alleen genodigden op maandag. Die maandag dus ook rustdag. Vonden we erg jammer zodat we niet in hun eigen restaurant konden eten. Ideale plek om te verblijven. Auto kan in de achterplaats worden geparkeerd. Het is wel een zoektocht om er te komen, zelfs met een uitstekende navigatie.

Firstly……the hotel restaurant in the evening is simply exceptional…….delicious and the waiting staff just brilliant……ever so friendly. Secondly the breakfast…….ooh la la………try it and you’ll know what I mean……..stunning! Our room was a modern addition to an old building…….nicely designed and very comfortable. The car parking to the rear was a bonus. Great stay!

Hotel znajduje sie za murami strego miasta, trudno jest trafic na parking hotelowy i do samego hotelu, nawigacja nie pomaga. Hotele tego typu w Niemczech maja swoje zasady, ktore musisz zaakceptowac. Maja swoje godziny pracy, swoje przyzwyczajenia. Trafilismy na historyczny przemarsz roznych grup spolecznych. Niesamowite wrazenia. Sniadanie bardzo dobre.

Medieval town, loved every moment. Staff were welcoming. Food yummy. Rooms were spacious.

De matrassen waren oud en verschrikkelijk hard, we hebben geen oog dichtgedaan. Geen koffie- en theefaciliteiten op de kamer en kamer erg warm. Gelukkig was het niet zo warm buiten.

Breakfast was made to order. Very tasty. Lots of cold cuts, breads, spreads brought to the table as well. Yoghurts and fruits available too. Choice of hot drinks and juices. Dinner in hotel restaurant was delicious. Waiter serving was very attentive and personable. Check in staff member was very helpful. Location of the hotel was wonderful - just few steps away from main square. Parking on site was much appreciated. History of hotel back to 1406 very intrresting.

Nothing , I loved it as it was.

So very friendly as soon as we arrived. Parking our 35 year old Rolls Royce was never going to be easy but the staff made it completely stress-free. Even though the restaurant was fully booked, they managed to find us a table and served us the best local fayre while making us feel so very welcome. The location was perfect, being immediately next to the main platz.

There was nothing to dislike.

Dat het hotel in het centrum van de stad was. Konden auto daar parkeren ( tegen kleine vergoeding) hadden we verder niet nodig.

Wij wisten het maar naar tweede etage met de trap, was geen lift. Voor ons geen probleem.

What a magical town and place to stay while visiting. The Gasthof is located one door off the Marktplatz and centrally located in the old town. The staff was kind, helpful and patient. Hope to visit again!

Volledig in het centrum van de oude stad . Prima gelegen om de oude middeleeuwse stad te ontdekken . Het ontbijt is van hoge kwaliteit voor een dergelijk hotel . Het wordt ook aan tafel bezorgd en extra’s kunnen altijd gevraagd worden . Het personeel is super vriendelijk.

De kamer was zeer klein en de “ingebouwde” badkamer zo mogelijk nog krapper . Geen frigo , geen airco, geen balkon .

Das Hotel liegt mitten im Zentrum. Das Frühstück Personal war sehr freundlich. Auch die Ansprechpartnerin war sehr nett und freundlich.

Das Einzelzimmer ist eine bessere Abstellkammer. Das Bad ist so breit wie die Duschkabine ist 1Meter breit . Der Toilettenraum ist etwas breiter wie Toilette selbst. - Beim Frühstück wurde ein Größerer Wurstteller serviert . Da ich morgens keine Wurst mag , sondern lieber Käse, hieß es : es sind 4 Stückchen Camembert drauf. Oder möchte ich statt dessen Nutella haben? Weder noch !!!!! An beiden Morgen kam der Wurstteller gleich belegt mit der gleichen Wurst . Habe jedesmal den Teller zurück gegeben. Das Hotel möchte Lebensmittel Verschwendung reduzieren sagte man mir . Ist eine sehr gute Sache . Aber bei dem hotelpreis hätte ich mir mehr entgegenkommen gewünscht als nur 4Stück Käse die auf dem Teller lagen.
