Most restaurants were closed. So not much of an all included vacation, is it?
Las amenidades muy lindas
La comida d buena calidad, muy amables y serviciales el personal
El jacuzzi sucio el agua salió con agua amarilla q mancho el mueble y nuestra ropa. Amenidades durante la noche estaría bien q tuvieran
The property itself was nicely taken care of. The staff were superb all along, especially the animation team, from which I really want to mention Zeuz and Samir. They showed me how to surf on their wave pool, and were great teachers, as well as really nice guys. Apart from them, the rest of the staff were great. Waiters by the pool, on the restaurants and staff throughout the hotel was great. Activities were really nice as well. We surfed quite a few times (at least myself), and also took part in several other activities which were nice (volleyball match and clay-modeling activities).
They gave us some vouchers to use, but whenever we tried to use them, an excuse arose where we could not specifically use them there because of a particular reason they gave us at that time. For instance, we were specifically told we could use our vouchers to reduce the price to play golf, but when we tried to redeem it for that particular activity, we were told we couldn’t use them there. We ended up using one of them to go diving through the people at the hotel, which ended up being a really good experience. Overall, it was just a pity we couldn’t use the vouchers as we were told initially. Nevertheless, everything else was great.
El hotel es centrico, la comida esta bien, limpieza bien y la atención del personal muy buena.
La playa es muy pequeña y tenía mucho sargazo
L’hôtel est en pleine transition, dommage qu’en all exclusive on ait pas accès au dernier etage.
to much up selling and trying to get us to buy more packages.
Overall hotel was clean and staff were very attentive. Room was great. The hotel was transitioning to adults only - we didn't know about this before we travelled otherwise would have changed hotel. Building work and disruption to restaurants and kids activities. Pool area needs hosed down/ scrubbed. I didn't see it being cleaned at all when we were there. Sticky etc
Hotel was overall good but has problems. Food was brilliant as were drinks and service. Rooms are noisy. We were lucky to use the beach that is reserved for preffered guests but we never got challenged. They are changing the hotel a lot. Closing restaurants. The beach for non preffered is awful..I enjoyed it as we blagged the beach. I would not return.
We loved how clean and fresh the hotel felt. The staff were kind, friendly, and always helpful. The food was good, and every room was spacious with a beautiful ocean view, which was a great bonus. The only downside was the beach. If the beach is your main reason for choosing this resort, you may be disappointed, as it was the weakest part of our stay. Other than that, everything was excellent, and we had a great experience.
Very bad none of the kid pools nor attractions were available! Was notified the day of check in about those attractions being off. Only reason was there was for the kids!
The overall experience was great. The food options were really good.
I think some better activities for kids would have been better
Stayed at Dreams vista June 17-21. We had preferred status as we are UVC members. We booked a room with a plunge pool. And fortunately we got a corner room. We had a wrap around balcony. It was so nice. The room was spacious, clean, and well designed. The blackout curtains allowed our baby to get sleep in the room during the day. And while she was napping mom and dad got to go to the rooftop pool and restaurant. That was really nice. The food we had was all very good. The one complaint I had was that the buffet was not open due to being under construction so that limited some of the food options. But service was great all around. We would like to come back as a family, but I know they are transitioning to an adults only property later this year.
Eten was lekker, ruime kamer, groot zwembad en strand was leuk
We stayed here for four nights in July. We got the premium ocean view suite with the hot tub. First, the good stuff: - The gym here is amazing with amazing views. - The buffet was great, and rotated foods so you never got the same menu. A great hamburger and taco cooking station and omelette station for breakfast. We never had to wait even though there were 5 of us. - Pool was awesome, with plenty of seating and umbrelleas for shade. Service was great too, very attentive. - Excursions picked up right from the lobby and the dock out front for Isla Mujeres. Very convenient. Next, the less than greats: - Hot tub had brown water coming out of it, when we reported it they said someone would come look at it but that never happened. - The balconies have huge bars running across them which kind of ruins the ambiance. - The restaurants here all require reservations and they do not make it easy to get them. Also, the restaurants close on a rotating basis with no warning. - The adult pool and bar on the top closes at 6 PM for some reason, which I find ridiculous. - Entertainment is limited, most likely you'll have to go elsewhere. Overall, I would say this place is fine, but you could find better elsewhere.
Our wedding at Dreams Vista Cancun was truly the most incredible day of our lives, and we cannot thank the entire team enough for making it absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived until the very last dance, every detail exceeded our expectations. The resort is beautiful, the staff is genuinely kind, and our guests are still talking about how amazing the entire weekend was. The biggest thank you goes to our wedding coordinator, Josselyn. She was nothing short of exceptional. Planning a destination wedding can be stressful, but Josselyn made the entire process feel effortless. She was organized, responsive, patient, and always one step ahead. Every detail we envisioned came to life perfectly, and on the wedding day she handled everything behind the scenes so we could simply enjoy every moment. Her professionalism, kindness, and dedication made us feel completely taken care of. We truly could not have asked for a better coordinator. A huge shoutout to our bartender, Roberto, who quickly became one of our guests’ favorite people! He kept the drinks flowing all night with a smile on his face, remembered everyone’s favorite cocktails, and brought such fun, positive energy to the reception. Our friends and family are still talking about how amazing he was. Roberto truly helped make the celebration unforgettable. We also want to recognize our MC, Veronica. She did an outstanding job keeping the evening running smoothly and keeping the energy high from start to finish. She was engaging, professional, and made every transition feel seamless. She helped create such a fun atmosphere and kept everyone involved throughout the night. Finally, our photographer, Armin and his team, was absolutely incredible. From the very beginning, they made us feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera. He captured every emotion, every detail, and every special moment so naturally. His creativity, attention to detail, and ability to capture genuine moments were amazing. Looking back at our photos allows us to relive the best day of our lives, and we are beyond grateful for his talent. Dreams Vista gave us the wedding we had always dreamed of. Every member of the team went above and beyond, and we felt so cared for throughout our entire stay. If you’re considering a destination wedding, we cannot recommend Dreams Vista enough. Thank you for giving us memories that we will cherish forever!
I spent 4 nights with my family and I have no negative things to say about the hotel. it was excellent from the beginning to the end of our stay. food is excellent, specially in Bluewater restaurante. Yuridia, Richard and Mario from Bluewater were the most amazing and kind people , they were waiting for us everyday for breakfast and lunch with love and super professional. we upgraded to preferred and it was totally worth it. rooftop has amazing views and ambience. our room was 1512 AB and the view was amazing. the room was super clean and housekeeping was always attentive to our needs. the beach is a little small but the sargassum was minimal and that is an important feature for a cancun hotel to have during the sargassum season. the shows were amazing, we enjoyed the acrobatics show the most. dinner reservations were very easy to book through the app. we definitely will come back for more!!!!
cross contamination, BEBEWARE, this hotel is the worst, the have vegan and vetetarian plates, they are fried with oil that was used in shrimps! and grenatine in their desserts,NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!!
We stayed at Dreams Vista Cancun last week with our family and my sister’s family (two families: 4 adults with 4 kids). Overall, the resort is clean and well-maintained, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Location The resort is conveniently located near Puerto Juárez, which made it easy to catch the ferry to Isla Mujeres for a day trip; that was a big plus for us. Also close to shopping and not far from the airport. Pools The highlight of the resort was definitely the pool area. It’s huge, beautifully designed, shallow in most places, and perfect for kids. Our children spent hours there and had an absolute blast. Beach Unfortunately, the beach was a major letdown. It was basically unusable during our stay. The seaweed was never cleaned up, there were only about 10 lounge chairs total, and the water was very rocky and unpleasant to swim in. If beach time is important to you, this may not be the right resort. Atmosphere The resort felt eerily quiet and not very lively, especially durign the day. It seems more geared toward spa and golf guests, so it lacks the energy and entertainment you’ll find at many other resorts in the Cancun/Riviera Maya area. Food & Drinks The à la carte restaurants had really good food, but booking reservations was frustratingly difficult — it felt like trying to get into Nobu on a Saturday night. The buffet was also closed for dinner on most nights, which was annoying. Our favorite spot by far was Coco Cafe; excellent coffee, nice snacks, and a relaxing vibe. Check-in Tip If you’re not a UVC member, be prepared for a very pushy attempt at a 1.5-hour sales presentation attempt during check-in and the day after. It’s aggressive and time-consuming. Feel free to politely decline and move on; you don’t have to sit through it. Final Thoughts This is a solid resort if you’re mainly looking for a clean place with excellent pools and friendly service, especially for families who prioritize pools over beach time. However, if you want a swimmable beach and a lively atmosphere, you might want to look at other options in the area. Would we return? Probably not, but we still had a nice family trip thanks to the pools and staff.
We had many pleasant moments at the resort, and the absolute highlight of our stay was, without a doubt, the service. The staff is extraordinary: the housekeeping team was excellent, Iris and Alexis were wonderful and very special servers, Juan the bartender at the Sports Bar was fantastic, and Mr. David at the buffet was impeccable. They were all incredibly attentive, sharing great tips and constantly going above and beyond our expectations. While the hotel has great potential, a few structural and operational details impacted our hope for a fully relaxing vacation. We experienced some noise due to ongoing construction, and we also faced the stressful mishap of getting stuck in the elevator for 15 minutes—something the resort should definitely look into. Regarding the dining experience, the flavors were great, but we noticed room for more variety. At the Bluewater Grill, the menu could be broader and include more non-spicy options. At Himitsu, we missed having raw fish and sashimi choices (which we actually found to be more varied by the pool area). On another evening, we ordered a risotto that tasted delicious, though the rice was a bit undercooked. Lastly, for those who enjoy working out, the fitness center has good equipment, but it would benefit from a better layout, as well as colder water and some protein options for post-workout. Despite these details that deserve management's attention to match the resort's caliber, we are deeply grateful for the warmth and dedication of the amazing staff who took such great care of us!
La verdad todo!! El servicio fue espectacular más que las instalaciones que las instalaciones están geniales
El kids club!!
With greetings and respect, I would like to thank all the staff in the breakfast and restaurant departments, especially Mr. Jose Carlos Yepez Moreno.
I had an excellent time at this resort. The people made it worth going. Special thanks to Chef Zoe from the breakfast club and the manager at Vista Prima, Carlos. Thank you for a more than enjoyable stay! Hasta luego!
Traveling with severe food allergies can be incredibly stressful, but our stay at Dreams Vista Cancun was an absolute dream, entirely thanks to the phenomenal staff. Our boys have severe food allergies, meaning buffets and standard restaurant meals are usually completely off the table due to cross-contamination risks. At other resorts, we’ve frequently run into exhausting 1.5 to 2-hour wait times just for a section of the kitchen to be safely cleaned and set up for cooking. Not here. From the moment we arrived, the team immediately put our minds at ease by getting us in direct contact with the culinary team. They seamlessly accommodated us for every single meal and went above and beyond to make our boys feel included, comfortable, and "normal." They took the time to learn exactly what our boys liked, ensuring their safe meals were ready right on time so we never faced those dreaded long waits. They even surprised them with special desserts—which is no small feat when navigating strict egg and dairy restrictions! The level of care, empathy, and genuine hospitality we experienced was unmatched. I know I am missing a few names, but Rodrigo, Edgar, Vanesa, and Chef Gaby were absolutely amazing. They didn't just feed us safely; they truly made our entire trip. If you are a family dealing with medical dietary needs, you can trust this resort completely. We cannot say enough good things, and we are already planning to come back for our next vacation!
Beautiful hotel
Beach it was too small.
Que por las tardes ya no había tanto sol en la piscina.
Recibimos una llamada muy extraña de parte del grupo de VIP services.
Overall it was a great experience. We stayed 5 nights/ 6 days and had 2 rooms. Pros: - Staff were very friendly and helpful. Most spoke English well. - Rooms are well maintained and comfortable. Temperature controls worked well. Views from rooms were spectacular (8th floor). Beds were good but nothing too outstanding. - Food choices were excellent. Restaurants were easy to book appointments for dinner. World Cafe and the stations (hamburger etc) were good. Coco Cafe coffee was better than in all other places. -Pool experience was amazing. -Elevators worked well and were fast and efficient. Cons: -Not many activities to do during the day. So basically the “all inclusive” part is only for food and room. - Golf games cost $200 extra. - Spa costs about $171 more (even with their so-called “specials” rates). - Activities during the day are just silly games like Bingo (no real / valuable prizes if you win), So called “bowling” which is just them setting up pins on the ground and you throwing a rubber ball, etc. There are no water slides or any fun activities. - The beach was small was full of sea weeds (lots of it) making the experience terrible. General Comments: Food: World Cafe and Hamburger/ Tacos stations were very good. The rest of the other restaurants food was just mediocre. Omelette station (in World Cafe) almost always had long lines since it’s only one person working at a time. Same goes for Hamburger station on the other side. In addition Hamburger/ Sushi/ Tacos stations open late (1 pm) so that needs to be adjusted. Food tastes at the hamburger/ tacos stations were excellent. Coco Cafe doesn’t have many good varieties of hot/ fresh snacks for tea/ coffee time. Their snacks are basically left outside (hanging) most of the day and they don’t have a microwave to warm it up. Also I was surprised to find that a place like Dreams Vista does not have Greek yogurt at all! There aren’t any much protein bars or any variations of that anywhere on the campus. Of all the restaurants Blue Water Grill (Rooftop) had the best food and service. We went there twice. The rest of the restaurants have mediocre tasting food. Bathroom: Bathroom water (hot water) turned brown/ yellow for part of our second last day. When we notified them, they came to fix it. But next day there was no hot water at all. Overall water pressure wasn’t the best in the sink. Hot water for shower wasn’t warm enough. Bathroom in the king size bed didn’t have a door to the entrance of the bathroom. But it did have separate doors for shower and toilet. Note that the whole place (every suite) had frosted doors and not traditional lockable wooden doors. So if you are expecting privacy like the traditional doors then this place fails in that aspect. Spa: Spa experience was excellent but way too overpriced. $171 on average for a 80 minute massage seems to be too much. Quality of massage was good. Staff was helpful.
Great staff, very clean beautiful pool
The AC was not in elevators or restaurants
The pool, the pool service - drinks, towels and plenty osmf space. Good food in general. Bars were excellent.
The beach is very small.
Tamanho do quarto, frente praia, piscina fantástica, academia de respeito, completa, refeições e drinks maravilhosos, simpatia dos funcionários
Um pouco longe do centro, quem quer calmaria lá é o local

No tengo quejas
The pool was nice and the facilities are modern
One cannot swim much at the sea, I got stomach sick i yhink i ate something that made me sick, and when i told the staff they did not offer a small compensation a spa or anything as a token of apology. Its ok but it would have been nice.
The property was amazingly designed. Very upscale
The room was a bit hot, maintenance came to fix the air but it still was hot
Las vistas y la comida

Near airport and near port to travel to Isla Mujeres
The 50% of the staff was helpful and other half was not. I AC was hot and the Mini Fridge was not cooling all drinks were Luke warm, the shower was flooding making it difficult to shower. I asked to change room and was told I was going to get charged between 1400.00 -2400.00 dollars due to availability. Then another staff member got upset because we cancelled not wanting to hear about their time shares. Our rental car ended up dirty from the front floor seats like they took it for a joy ride.
Great resort, great staff, shout out to Pamela at the concierge deal, Yair and others. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Spacious rooms clean facilities, great food. The beach is very small and a large portion is reserved for Preferred guests, thats guests who pay a premium which in my opinion is not right. They also have an aggressive marketing campaign where they ask you to attend an hour and a half of their presentation. They can be quite aggressive. We were approached by a staff at the VIP desk who talked us into attending this presentation the next day and a promise of $250 in coupons that we could use at the resort. We felt we wasted 1/12 to / hours of our time. I think they should put out the info for whoever wants to attend the sales presentation on their own with a promise of coupons if you attend.
We were treated very well. We had breakfast at the rooftop restaurant every morning and we were waited on by Geyler Camara. He treated us very well and got to know us he made our breakfast fun. The other staff remembered us and always greeted us with a smile
Our first time in Cancun and it was the best. Vista Tacos became our favorite spots. Moises was always so welcoming and his food was amazing. Definitely recommend the consome soup and queso birria. Moises was very attentive to our needs in our stay. We loved it so much that I think he knew we would show up lol. If you stop by here stop by the taco place. For dinner Himitsu and Lucrecia were the best. Mariana was very amazing. She was very professional and accommodating all of us since our party was a little bigger. She was always with a smile. The buffet place was amazing too and coco cafe having our little coffee and sweet bread I loved it. Overall the cleanliness and the staff were all there for you. If you visit Cancun defiantly stay here.
Best thing about this place is my Lucrecia and their staff. We had great service every night that we ate there especially from our last server Humberto- even our chef was amazing! Excellent service and excellent food.
Amazing time at Dreams vista!! Would definitely go back.. small resort, not a party resort So if looking to relax… this resort is it
I was very disappointed in the Dreams Vista Resort. I travel a lot and have been to multiple all inclusives and I expected this stay to be the one I loved the most and instead it comes in second to the bottom. I never expected I would compare this stay to a Riu but sadly I do.
My family and I (8 of us in total) just returned from our stay at Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort, and this was our first time visiting the resort. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely return. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. We were greeted immediately, our bags were taken for us, and we were escorted into the lobby for check-in. We were offered champagne and cookies upon arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch after traveling and arriving hungry and thirsty. Check-in was quick and smooth, and we were then taken on a tour of the resort so we could familiarize ourselves with everything. By the time the tour ended, it was around 12:30 p.m., and we headed to the buffet for lunch. The buffet food was exactly what I expected from an all-inclusive resort. The restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly and attentive. In general, the entire resort was very clean, and every staff member we encountered was warm and welcoming. After lunch, our rooms were ready, and by the time we arrived at them, our luggage was already there waiting for us. I have to say — I am extremely picky when it comes to hotel rooms. It’s very rare for me to feel completely comfortable staying anywhere, but my family and I were genuinely thrilled with our rooms. We quickly changed into our bathing suits and headed to the pool. We were told the resort was only operating at about half capacity, which made for a very relaxed experience. There were always pool chairs available throughout our stay, and we never had to wake up at 6:30 a.m. to reserve chairs. The pool area was clean, fun, and had a great atmosphere. One of the highlights of our trip was meeting our pool waiter, Jasson. He was hands down one of the most personable, kind, funny, and genuine people we had the pleasure of meeting. By the end of the week, he honestly felt like family to us. He remembered all of our names and drinks, and he made every day at the pool so much fun. Saying goodbye to him at the end of the trip was actually difficult! The entertainment staff also did an amazing job. Every afternoon there were pool aerobics sessions, and I want to give a special shout-out to Erik, who was absolutely fantastic. He brought so much energy, made everyone laugh, and really got people involved. He even remembered our family’s names and would greet us whenever we walked by, which really impressed us. After aerobics, they would set up volleyball in the pool, play music throughout the afternoon, and sometimes even have a DJ poolside. They also organized little games where guests could win prizes. My family participated and had an amazing time. We also really enjoyed several of the restaurants at the resort. The food at Himitsu, the Asian restaurant, was excellent, and Portofino, the Italian restaurant, was absolutely delicious as well. We ate at Bluewater Grill one evening, and while the food was good, my 15-year-old daughter is extremely picky with her food choices and didn’t really enjoy it there, so we didn’t end up going back. That being said, the service everywhere was consistently great. I personally didn’t spend much time at the beach because I’m not really a beach person, but I did go take a look. The beach area is fairly small, so if you are someone who primarily vacations for the beach experience, this may not be the ideal resort for you. The only minor inconvenience we experienced was booking dinner reservations through the app. The app only allows reservations for up to 4 people, so since we were a group of 8, my sister-in-law and I had to visit the concierge each morning to arrange our dinners a few days in advance. Thankfully, Pamela at the concierge desk was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. She made sure we were able to dine at a restaurant every evening, and she even helped me contact our airport transportation company before departure. The resort also offered nightly entertainment, and the daily entertainment schedule was conveniently posted in the elevators each day so guests could easily see what was happening that evening. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to attend many of the main shows because they started at 8:30 p.m., and our dinner reservations were usually at 7:30 p.m. However, the entertainment lineup looked great — including acrobatic shows, magic shows, fire shows, karaoke nights, and more. We did enjoy the live entertainment by the pool each evening from 9:00–10:00 p.m., which included singers, an electric violinist, and even a guitarist playing Santana music. We were perfectly happy relaxing and listening to the music each night. If I had to mention any negatives, there were only two small things. First, the area near the elevators can get extremely windy — almost like a wind tunnel at times. There is also usually a breeze by the pool. However, in 30+ degree weather, I actually found the breeze refreshing, and it never bothered me personally. Second, the building blocks the sun around 2:30 p.m., so if your goal is all-day tanning, you’ll likely only get direct sun from around 9:00 a.m. until mid-afternoon. Other than those two minor things, we truly had a fantastic vacation. The staff, service, atmosphere, and overall experience exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely return to this resort again.
This hotel was wonderful, was a quick 30 minute drive from the airport. We hosted our wedding here and had about 50 friends and family join us. The travel process was seamless, the staff were super friendly and willing to help out in any way possible. The wedding staff were wonderful and so through with all of the planning details. The resort was always clean and accommodating. The pools were always clean, and there was a great kids splash pad for little ones. The beach was a little on the smaller side but still able to sit and enjoy. I would highly recommend this as a destination for a wedding or just even a family vacation.
This resort is awful! Stay away! We upgraded to preferred, our drinks were suppose to be premium drinks amongst other amenities, but they were simply watered down, and everyone was getting the same thing, there's no way of telling who has what service! The food is beyond eatable! The customer service from check in, concierge, the staff in the restaurants and the people trying to up sell you something none stop is disgusting! I will not recommend this place at all!
Just returned from our daughter’s beautiful destination wedding at Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort. I was the travel advisor for our group of 54 guests and everything went so well and we couldn’t have been happier. I will definitely recommend this resort to my future wedding group clients. Transfers: The ride to the resort with Amstar was quick and efficient and we rode in a nice clean van. The Resort, Staff and Reataurants: The entire resort was very well- maintained - neat and clean inside and out. Housekeeping kept our room spotless. We made daily visits to the coffe shop for coffee, tea, cookies and doughnuts. The food in the special restaurants was excellent. There were a variety of food options and we tried something different every night. We had no trouble making dinner reservations as long as they were made early in the day. The buffet in the World Cafe was always an option if all else failed. Wait staff in the World Cafe was very attentive to our needs. Resort land reception staff were very kind and helpful. We had a few minor room issues but the staff handled every one of them quickly and all issues were resolved. Preferred Club staff was EXCELLENT and breakfast in the Blue Water Grill was a highlight each morning. Pool and Beach: I didn’t drink much, but overheard some say drinks at the main pool were slow to arrive - but in all fairness, there appeared to only be maybe one or two servers trying to take care of the entire pool area. This didn’t ruin anyone’s time, however. The beach, although well maintained, is not the hotel’s best feature, as it is not quite like the beaches in Playa del Carmen, BUT the resort, the giant pool area, and the incredible views of the beautiful turquoise water and the surrounding areas from the balconies and rooftop more than made up for this. People still seemed to enjoy lazing around a bit in the overwater hammocks. Most spent a good part of the day at the pool. A bonus was that the sun went down on the other side of the building, so the pool area was shaded in the afternoon, which helped with the heat, and made it nice for those of us light-skinned folks who burn in the sun. We didn’t have to worry about heading inside to avoid the afternoon sun and could stay outside. Spa: We were offered a promotion which included an hour for the hydrotherapy circuit in the spa. A lot of us made reservations for it and really enjoyed it. Several also got massages or facials. Everyone was happy with their services. Extra Activities: The resort activity staff was upbeat and fun and very good at encouraging people to join in activities. Some people in the group enjoyed a game of pickle ball. Others spent a morning playing a nice round of golf at the course. In my opinion, the nightly shows were sort of ‘average’, but definitely good enough in that we went every single night at 8:30pm to see them. People with rooms on that side of the hotel complained a little bit about the noise and music carrying up to them and being loud, but the shows only lasted an hour so it was okay. There were activities going on all throughout the day for anyone interested in participating. Wedding Day: On the wedding day the stylists in the salon did a beautiful job on everyone’s hair and makeup. No one was disappointed. The pre-arranged room service arrived to our room at the scheduled time. We were glad we spent the extra money for the Master Family Suite so our 8 bridesmaids, bride, 2 mom’s and 2 babies had plenty of room to get ready. Ariadna met us there and accompanied us to the starting point for the ceremony on the Ocean Deck Palapa. It was beautiful and breathtaking to watch the bride, with her tulle dress floating in the wind, walking down the stairs with her dad and then all the way to us at the ceremony location on the deck. Wedding Coordinator: WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED our wedding coordinator Ariadna Del Moral! She was the sweetest, kindest and calmest little person. Always smiling and patient with us (as we were all so overwhelmed) and she was so accommodating. She did an excellent job of coordinating everything with us before and during the wedding day. She offered helpful suggestions and ideas for the wedding ceremony and reception and never tried to force us into adding anything to the wedding that we didn’t feel comfortable with. On the day of the wedding she was accessible the entire day and kept everything on time and running smoothly with the resort staff. Any glitches were our fault and easily corrected. Everyone was sad to leave the resort and had wished they’d stayed longer! I highly recommend this resort for a destination wedding! Thank you Dreams Vista for a very enjoyable and memorable wedding and vacation!
Hotel is clean , friendly staff. Lack entertainment, no music. Not much to do . Preferred club lounge needs more trained personnel . The snacks options are limited . I will not be returning.
Nice room, good kids club
Alcohol was cheap low quality, if you wanted the good quality alcohol you had to tip heavily every time. When I say good quality, apparently even Coronas weren’t easy to obtain. We were tricked into almost sitting through a sales presentation. After tipping the guy we thought was helping us have a nice stay and doing a general greeting service, we realised the motive behind this and cancelled the sales presentation of 1-2 hours! Be transparent about this!
just the right vibe.. awesome staff, love it loved the roof top pool and restaurant (preferred guests), hydrotherapy session
some international cuisine seemed a bit 'western' (sugary)
I can’t say more!! I’m from the travel industry so I travel A LOT, I never once let them know I’m in the industry. They just go above and beyond to accommodate your needs and group. I have a severe allergy to peanuts and they have made sure I feel so comfortable, go e ABOVE AND BEYOND. My children have been so attends too, place is spotless… Wish I had known about this place sooner.
We were really looking forward to coming here after reading reviews about the food and location ,however we were very underwhelmed on arrival ,no explanation of anything they do here or where anything was ,when we asked anyone we were told to just use the app ,we booked preferred deluxe with plunge pool and ocean view ,the room was just basic plunge pool freezing ,glass doors are burnt from the sun ,room wasn’t particularly clean either ,we did complain because we really wanted to move hotels ,the hotel did pull out all the stops with this one and moved us to a master corner suite on the 6th floor ,this suite is stunning and the views are unreal ,the food is actually terrible I don’t know how people are saying the food here is amazing ,we have literally eat breakfast because you can’t go wrong with breakfast and then a burger at lunch ,the buffet is tiny and very geared towards the Americans not so much the English ,rooftop pool is beautiful however once again overtaken by drunk loud mouthed Americans who think everything is about them and they can’t talk they have to shout about everything ,the staff on the rooftop are first class the service they provide is exceptional ,so friendly always smiling addressing you by name when they see you special shout out to David and Jessica on the rooftop pool so friendly and always remembered us and made time to speak to us ,housekeeping also amazing always did a fab job of cleaning the room ,it’s a very mixed review ,the staff are great ,food is terrible ,vista prime steakhouse was a huge disappointment also ,the wind is absolutely awful to the point you cannot sit outside at night and enjoy it the wind just blows you away literally ,the beach is nice but very tiny and the smell from the beach by the golf course is vile ,makes you feel physically sick it smells rotten, would we return ? Absolutely not ,location isn’t great nothing is nearby apart from the ferry terminal which was great to go to Isla mujeres which was beautiful ,there is little to no entertainment we spent every night in our room not even on the balcony because like I said it’s far too windy ,it’s not a little gust or breeze it’s like being in a storm ,,couldn’t swim in the sea either as I say the smell from the beach by the golf course was very off putting ,we couldn’t wait to leave to be honest
las instalaciones son divinas, el personal muy amable y el servicio de la comida y los restaurantes son muy buenas.

LA ALBERCA
LA PLAYA MUY CHICA Y MALA
The resort was so upkept and clean. The food was absolutely amazing. We had the himitsu 3 times it was so delicious. I can’t say enough good about this resort.
Nice stuff.
The building and rooms are architecturally beautiful. The food and drinks were excellent, high quality and unique. The desserts were amazing, and the BBQ evening was awesome. Overall, the food was a very pleasant surprise and exceeded expectations. The hotel is also very clean, and the rooms are very comfortable with amazing views.
The food and beverage staff across the restaurants, bars, and pool area were often unfriendly and very slow. Due to the building’s design, the kids’ splash area is located in a wind tunnel, making it almost unusable at times, as it is often windy and cold. The water in the pools and splash area could also be a bit warmer. In addition, the extra cost for spa access was a drawback, and the sales staff promoting vacation packages were somewhat persistent and distracting from the overall experience.
Service and sports actvities
Location, far from Cancun (zone Hoteleria) centre
The all inclusive was fabulous! The food was delicious and it was so clean with lovely staff throughout!
Nothing. Couldn’t fault it at all!
Clean, rooms service was excellent ( clean and organized ) bar service was excellent, pool service was amazing.. my service was provided by David and Kendor very satisfied with them. Wedding overall was excellent. Very much enjoyed. Will continue to come.
Entertainments was very poor
Membership sales people were a little too pushy
Location and the amenities
Cleanliness was not 100% bathroom had mold, all hardware was not clean
It was all perfect!!!!
Surfing pool for the kids should have more time
Breakfast was not as good
Great location, great facilities, delicious food. Really enjoyed our stay!
Limited availability for restaurant bookings
Our family had a great vacation to Dreams Vista. The staff were amazing and always so friendly. Zeuz made sure we were out having fun.
Las instalaciones siper bonito y lujosas Atención 👌 excelente
Insuficientes camastros en la playa
Great food and friendly staff. No beach and poor pool. The fact that it is a building, when you want to go to the room you need to wait long line to get the elevator for the 16 floor building
Beautiful resort, great for families Staff is all very nice and friendly and we had a particularly great experience from bartender Roberto who was a super great guy and very funny. Would recommend for anyone!
Super fun, attentive staff, great poolside, 24 hr room service! Great food and beverages. Great excursion choices like parasailing, snorkelling and golf!
This is a follow up review to specifically address the poor customer service and product delivery of the photo company associated with the Dreams Resort. To be clear, I wrote an initial review of our entire experience following our dream wedding in September. This follow up review specifically addresses the photography company that you are required to use if you purchase a wedding package. Outside of the photography company, everything else was great, including the videography. The photographer at the wedding was good. He took plenty of photos, both set up and candid. I did not feel that there was much creativity behind the lense, but still the photos were just fine. The major frustrations started when we could not get a hold of anyone when we came home. They do not communicate with you, outside of collecting payment, of course. We have had to refer back to our wedding planner (she is amazing) to see if she could get in touch with the photograghy company because they do not respond to emails and you cannot get them to answer the phone. It has been 16 weeks since our wedding, 11 weeks since we selected our photographs and still no photo album. We were promised (after an "apology for the delay") that the album would be sent on Dec. 22nd and we never received tracking information, an email confirmation, nor any communication that it actually was sent. It is Dec. 31st and still no photo album. It is very disappointing that I have to write this review because everything else was so wonderful. Dreams, this photography company is hurting your reputation. :(
Had a great time at this resort with my family! I'll start with the positives The staff. Wow. They are absolutely fantastic and became friends with them very quickly. Most were very attentive and smiled when they talked to you while they did their job. My special shoutouts where Enrique, Daniel, Cesar and Gabriela at the "La Plaza" bar. These guys always made sure our drinks were on point and were quick to help us out. The bartender Oscar, who served us at the beach and at the Rooftop Preferred Club bar, remembered by order from the first day and was always kind and helpful. And lastly, the gentleman in the picture I attached. I forgot his name(I think it was VICTOR) but he was amazing! Everytime we went to the beach, he would make sure there were seats for my wife and kids, checked how we were doing and even offered to clean my sunglasses because I always got them covered in salt residue from the ocean lol. He was exceptional and I always looked forward to seeing him during our daily beach visits. The food. The breakfast buffet was great! Good selection and I generally stuck with the Mexican cuisine but I had no complaints from the rest of my party about the rest of it. A La Carte restaurants were good, I enjoyed all the meals I had. Book in advance on the Hyatt app when you check-in. We didn't have a hard time finding dinner reservations but certain ones do get full faster. The hibachi experience was a lot of fun but you get a LOT of food so make sure everyone has their appetite, otherwise it's not worth it. The coffee bar was a lovely morning spot and it had a good carb offering Downsides. It gets very windy at that resort. And for whatever reason, the kids water area is in a shaded area with winds hitting it which made it not great for smaller kids to enjoy the water park. The property is all closed together, which is nice if you have babies and need to jet back to your room quickly but for me, it reminded me too much of a luxury condo rather than a resort in Mexico. Guess I'm used to places in Tulum. The other thing is that areas of the resort will suddenly not be available to use due to an event or a function. I get that weddings and events are popular at these spots, but that shouldn't be at the detriment of other guests. Otherwise, this resort was reasonably priced and fantastic service. I would recommend getting the preferred club just for the access to the rooftop alone. Restaurant and the infinite pool there are amazing.
Watch the Vacation Club sales, they are not trustworthy. Very windy, pool was always cold. Won’t be going back. Shows are weird but you can see that they are trying. Don’t give a beach bag for preferred club. Shower was nice. Food was ok but you learn very quickly that this is a Four Diamond which is very different from their Five Diamond. It was a very different experience.
Lobby bar staff - Claudio, Marlene and Jose went above and beyond to make our Dreams come true. Best bartender team!!! Gracias por su hospitalidad y su amabilidad. Miembros UVC.
