Everything was wonderful, nothing I didn’t like.

It was a special treat a home away from home

It is a beautiful property but it needs work done to it.

It is run down and it needs work. The room felt dump and smell of mold.

Location is said to be beachfront, NOT AT ALL!

Staff met me in pyjamas at 18:30, barely could show me the room. bed and pillows were shockingly uncomfortable.

We had a lovely stay at the property.

I asked for a smoking room and didnt have an ashtray on our balcony. Our toilet leaked and the bargs handshower also poured out water when we had a bath.

Some sort of Gym or sauna would be a bonus.

The host was very friendly. The bed and the sheets were very comfy. The bedroom was beautiful and comfy.

The towels had numerous old stains on. The towels were also folded wet and repacked for us. The bathroom extractor fan has never been cleaned. The bathroom shower floor was filthy. The aircon has not been serviced and in fact made me very sick. The cornices are pulling away from the ceiling. The fridge is yellow and old inside. The cupboards are falling apart . There are 4 different types of hangers, some from shops with their names on. There weren't any drinking glasses, only 2 mismatched wine glasses. The toilet paper was the cheapest imaginable. The lady serving breakfast had no idea what she was doing, no hospitality training. The coffee machine was dirty.

Run down & neglected So much so that I checked out within half an hour Not much attention to detail Smoke alarm beeping in my room every 40seconds & no one noticed Felt like business in distress Desolate - no one there but reception and garden staff Was advised by receptionist to cancel via the booking.com app which I did but then this wasn’t accepted by the host. I paid the full amount for 6 nights and was there for 30mins. No shame in taking my money and no responses from host subsequent to checking out.

SERVICE IS THE WORST I HAVE EXPERIENCED NO STAFF AFTER 5PM . SO NO HELP TILL NEXT MORNING. THEY DONT TELL YOU THIS AT ALL . WE HAD TO CLEAN THE POOL OURSELVES TO USE IT . They say toiletries provides but we need to beg . NO SHAMPOO , NO TOILET PAPER. Atleast install a bidet spray . So PEOPLE please bring your own toiletries Aircons just suddenly stops working . Then magically starts working next morning .

It was comfortable and spacious.

I had to wait outside for almost 15 minutes to get access to the property. It was dark (no lights in the street), I was new to the area, and I just landed - not ideal. I rang the gate bell repeatedly with no answer and then called a few times as well. When I could eventually check in the lady asked me which room I was staying in which was quite unusual because I just arrived and I would have expected her to know. I was told by her that I was booked for Bed and Breakfast only to be told the next day that it was Bed only.

The commination was fantastic… we were super impressed with the staff and calls regarding our late check in. Garden’s are beautiful and well maintained.

We were in rooms 2 & 3. The decor is very old, peeling wallpaper, damp smell, cracks in the wall, mismatch bath accessories, a giant cockroach living in room 3. Sheets were stained and crumpled in room 3, but were clean and ironed in room 2. The aircon was so noisy. It looks like some of the rooms have been upgraded.

Home is lovely and garden and close to beach.

Bathroom needs a really good clean, very noisy, milk and tea weren’t replaced.

The property is very clean. The stuff is very kind and prompt. It quite peaceful and very close to the nicest beaches. It is worth the price. Actually how can I forget about the amazing rooms.

It is difficult to find uber ride and also uber drivers found it difficult to find the place. Otherwise there’s nothing not to like about the property.

Breakfast was good - I forgot to mention I'm vegetarian but great nevertheless.

The property need serious renovation the toilet set was loose the fridge looked untidy and the garden needs serious cleaning and WiFi connection is so poor and so Neflex doesn’t connect at all.

Rooms Clean

Perfecte plek vlakbij het centrum van Ballito, zeer vriendelijk personeel, lekker ontbijt, mooi in het groen gelegen guesthouse. Grote balkons, dus je kunt ook buiten zitten bij je kamer.

Very well positioned to where my function was

There was young children running up and down the passage fairly early on a Sunday morning. My bathroom only had a quarter of a toilet roll on the holder and no extra rolls provided in the room. R 200 for a full breakfast is on the expensive side

Honestly the staff was not too bad, but the management was the issue, the Indian lady does not practise good working relations with her staff. Sthembile (staff member) was great considering the circumstances, I don’t like that she is made to do everything. That was unfair, from welcoming guests, to making breakfast to cleaning to doing everything

The manager, specifically the Indian lady I don’t she is fair to her staff members She try to portray fake relations but we could see, for example she made the poor lady knock on our room to force us to come out and have breakfast

The garden is beautiful, the staff are friendly.

This place was a complete disappointment. It is nowhere near the beach as implied. The breakfast was bland, oily and poorly prepared, and the furniture is old and worn. Nothing about my stay matched the advertisements — it felt misleading and not worth the money.

Nice quite location, like a villa in tropical region. The breakfast was very good.

The bathroom was musty, but not unbearable. I had problems with cellphone reception and had to rely only on wifi.

Good area, the external facility was as stated on the pictures. Very close to the beach. The bathroom was really big and spacious.

I booked a place with a balcony view, the place I was given did not have a balcony. When I asked the host, she said the walkway passage is the balcony. The TV display didn't work, we couldn't watch any movies. The walls in the shower were dirty.

Comfortable room and bed. Well appointed. Garden is serene and in a very quiet setting.

As I was travelling for work the access to a work desk in the room would have been beneficial.
