Breakfast was really good , both continental and English.Beautiful and authentic French decor . Spacious rooms . The landscaping is absolutely magnificent and it feels like you are in the forest.

I would have preferred to have a microwave and a bar fridge in the rooms The water pressure from the shower was also not great .

A gorgeous property in a beautiful garden. The rooms are pretty and spacious and clean. The staff are great. The location is perfect and the breakfast is delicious.

Lovely location as it had a lovely tropical feel yet was close to the beach . Judy and the rest of the staff were warm and welcoming .

Our room was very comfortable and spacious. The breakfasts were well prepared and the kitchen staff were lovely.

Parking is very tight. The water drainage (room 11) in the shower flows the wrong way so it can be tricky to avoid flooding the place. Since there is no water mixer, it takes time to get the water temperature correct. Turning the water off and back on because of poor drainage is not ideal for a 4 night stay in luxury accommodation.

Clean, comfortable and lovely aesthetics. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is also good, close the the beaches and restaurant spots.

The location of the venue is excellent, the rooms were also clean, tidy and the staff were always willing to assist with a smile on their face. Brekafast was always up to scratch and Lady Judy is an absolute delight. I will definitely be back.

I can't say there was anything I didnt like, however what can be improved is to place Doom spray in the rooms, due to the troical nature and location there are a number of friendly pests lurking which freaked me out.

Absolutely everything. The rooms are massive for Ballito, beautifully put together and has everything one could reasonably expect. Absolutely Fantastic.

The rooms are well furnished and comfortable and clean. Easy walk to Salt Rock main beach and some eateries. Friendly staff.

The breakfasts were disappointing. Lacked anything interesting and (for example) the granola / muesli was bog standard and seemed cheap. Strange to have to pay for a cup of Nespresso (that you make yourself) in a 5 star facility. Our rooms were also not quite ready by 2pm on date of booking in. Power kept going out the first three days / nights (on the premises only). To exit the parking facility is not for the faint hearted (gate 3).

The place is very close to the beach making it easy to walk there (if you want to) and other interesting places around. The staff was really friendly and helpful. It was raining when we arrived and they came to get us with umbrellas, very considerate. The breakfast spot is so gorgeous gives an international feel. The garden and pool were also nice. We enjoyed chilling and swimming there.

We struggled with parking, it was not enough for everyone booked there. Not a lot of breakfast options and the coffee they had was also not great. They have Nespresso but it’s charged extra.

Everything was outstanding from the beautifully furnished rooms to the excellent breakfasts.

Location was superb. The owners were very nice. Very private. The kitchen equipment is better than expected. The cleaning staff do and excellent job and the ash from the fire pit / Braai area is cleaned up swiftly in the mornings. The service is good, and goods from the store (firewood etc) is promptly delivered with a smile. The unit is clean and the beds were super comfy.

Whilst the property is indeed a cabin that is tented style, regrettably it falls short of what one expects with “glamping”, most notably no aircon in a really hot environment. Whilst the pool appeared to have solar heating, that was not working and we had to heat it manually by continuously loading wood into a “donkey boiler”

There was nothing I didn't like. I would however for the cost of staying in the presidential suite suggest a better working fridge and stocked with at least sparking and still water, it was not big enough or working properly. The kitchen also had no ice to chill our champagne. Some extra like chocolates would have given a 5 star experience.

Die Kukummi Lodge ist etwas ganz Besonderes. Ryan und Danny leben echte, persönliche Gastfreundschaft. Ryan hat uns in einer echten Notlage geholfen: Unser Fahrzeug war nicht verkehrstüchtig, er kümmerte sich intensiv um die Autovermietung (Reifenproblem), organisierte Lösungen und holte uns sogar zu Wanderungen ab und zurück. Das ist absolut außergewöhnlich und gab uns ein enormes Gefühl von Sicherheit. Wunderschöne Lodge, großartige Atmosphäre, tolles Essen und ein herzliches Team. Schon am ersten Abend wurden wir familiär aufgenommen und verbrachten einen unvergesslichen Abend. Eine Lodge, die sich nicht durch Luxus, sondern durch Menschlichkeit abhebt. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung – wir kommen definitiv wieder!

A little piece of France in Salt Rock. Wonderful property. I loved the detail and the room was large and comfortable. The breakfast is very good.

The balcony in my room overlooked the parking area. There was some noise at night with cars entering and leaving the property. Not on the ocean front - 15 minute walk away. The monkeys at breakfast were entertaining but problematic.

Large spacious rooms, beautifully decorated and super clean. Gardens are stunning.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen – vom herzlichen Empfang über das leckere Frühstück bis hin zum aufmerksamen Service war alles tiptop. Das gesamte Team war durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit, was den Aufenthalt besonders angenehm gemacht hat.

Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen: Im Zimmer war ein leichter, muffiger Geruch wahrnehmbar. Das hat den Gesamteindruck zwar nicht wesentlich getrübt, sollte aber eventuell überprüft werden.

I loved the theme of the property. The colour layering is calm, peaceful and brings much clear a mind.

The WiFi was unfortunately a huge let down at the bottom rooms!

Beautiful place, well kept clean, extremely enthusiastic staff, just off the "beaten track" but close enough to everything. The breakfast lay out and tableware was just awesome. Pastries at breakfast were divine.

Plastic plants .. Window coverings need an upgrade.. especially the bathroom and coffee area .. too much light comes in. Pillows are ready for replacement .. Breakfast was okay .. cold meats, cheeses could have been of a bigger variety.

Thank you for making it such a wonderfully night for my best friend. She absolutely loved her stay. I hope to visit when back in SA.

It would be good to have had a few snacks in the room especially as we had a suite and therefore perhaps expected a little more than tea & coffee and small nougat bites.

My third time to be here. It is a wonderful place, the owners put a lot of effort into every tiny detail.

It is not directly at the beach, but actually it is not that far.

My room was very large and spacious with vintage decor and finishes that had me imagining that I was in an 18th-century villa in the south of France. The bed was comfy. The breakfast scrumptious. The staff very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend 👌🏿.

Accommodations were wonderful. The charm and attention to detail were spot on. I would highly recommend Petit Provence.
