The property is well located for the centre of Charlottetown, and a beautiful period house.

beautiful historic building from 1887, with incredible architectural details. Very friendly reception staff, Cindy, who also served us breakfast, which was delicious.

Not great soundproofing as I could hear complete conversations in the main reception: my room was just adjacent to reception. But that was just in the morning when people were checking out. Otherwise it was lovely.

The people who run the inn are lovely, very helpful and accommodating. The inn itself is a beautiful, historic building and located centrally. AC and free parking were nice amenities.

Unfortunately, this was the worst Bed & Breakfast experience I've had. I've had better breakfasts at budget hotels. We were shocked to be served cheap cheese in plastic and find dirty dishes on the dining table, for example. We went elsewhere for breakfast after the first morning. So the value was not great in our opinion. I expect top of the line breakfast at a B&B. This was not that.

We absolutely loved the Prince Inn - as with any booking you’re not really sure what you’re going to get but the B&B exceeded expectations! Lovely host, lovely breakfast, great location to downtown and loads of restaurants etc. VERY clean rooms, exceptionally comfortable non squeaky bed! Air conditioning was super quiet. We would love to return to Charlottetown and would stay at Prince Inn the whole time.

It is a beautiful property with stunning features both inside and out. The staff was absolutely wonderful, kind, and helpful. I will definitely be staying here again in the future!

The building was different than the usual architecture of the province. It had an 18th century elegance. Nice grounds, central location, walking distance to all the sites of Charlottetown. Great bed and breakfast location and less expensive than a hotel room. The host was wonderful. Kind, helpful and made us feel like family. We will go back again!

Honestly what a beautiful place to stay. The owner was an absolute delight, gah, what a kind woman! The room was immaculate. Lovely breaky. Super close to all of the restaurants and shops. Perfect place to stay.

The preservation of the property’s character was what made it so special. Beautifully appointed with quality antiques. The host was especially helpful and accommodating.

I loved my stay at the Prince Inn - the staff were so friendly, the breakfast was great (they even allowed us to get started early so we could make our conference on time), and the room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. I would stay here again when I return to Charlottetown.

Breaky was mediocre but room and staff were excellent.

The charming Prince Inn is meticulously cared for by the resident innkeepers. Filled with antiques and photos of old Charlottetown, comfortable beds and a great breakfast. It is in a great location, easily walkable to the harbour and many of the great Charlottetown restaurants in the area. Breakfast was fantastic - everything you could want, even made-to-preference eggs but only available between 8 - 9 am. So if you snooze, you lose.

Beautiful BNB! Perfect location within walking distance of so many restaurants and shops. Our host was so gracious, and we loved the little sitting room in our suite, as well as the modern bathroom. My husband would say that the decor and furnishings were a bit over the top, but I thought they were fun! The breakfast was plentiful and good, but no special dishes as you often find at BNBs.

It was staying in a piece of history, the rooms were very unique as was the rest of the Inn, and the host was delightfull. A great sit down breakfast, and the downtown and waterfront were a walkable distance away.

Cindy made us feel very welcome and answered all our questions and gave great recommendations for dining. The breakfast was terrific I think Cindy must work 24/7 as she was always around if we needed something. Would absolutely stay here again and would recommend to any friends planning to visit the area!

I greatly enjoyed the quiet peacefulness of this hotel. Cindy was great- everything from check in through noting our names and greeting us, to noting who was at breakfast. I highly commend her. Everything was clean, room slippers and bathroom amenities were welcome. The one area I think is ripe for improvement is breakfast. The communal table seems to result in folks more often than not eating in silence. The cereal choices are all sugary, including the individual prepackaged oatmeal. Cheeses are low grade commercial products. There is a great array of fruit though. It would be appreciated if there was coffee available either in the rooms or at reception throughout the day.

We stayed at the Prince on our first trip to PEI. Wow! Amazing old house like stepping back in time! Old houses have their drawbacks but are so interesting in other ways. Hostess was So nice and very helpful. Continental breakfast plus in dining room. Plus eggs cooked to order.

The location was perfect. It was centrally located near the heart of downtown and the breakfast service was quick and tasty. I especially enjoyed the orange bear the manager made at the breakfast table!

We stayed in the louis room which has a low ceiling. I understand this is a historic building so there's not much that can be done. Apart from that we really enjoyed our stay.

This is the most unique B&B we stayed in. A real gem. A large period house, well done and looked after. A very comfortable place. We would definitely go back.

I wrote review for 2nd night , this is for first night…Cindy welcomed us soon as Bell rang, she assisted with bag as we are not too mobile. She was very helpful and recommended some places to visit which were truly remarkable. Anything we needed she got..breakfast had a wide selection of food with eggs and bacon provided ..no complaints by anyone there ..everything was 100% perfect and over and above our expectations

Location is superb - tons of character which is to be expected from a historic property. Room was large with a very comfortable bed. Located in a quiet area with a short walk to the downtown.

Breakfast was disappointing - poor quality coffee, the order from the kitchen was inedible. The "buffet" selection was poor, the only thing that was good was making our own toast. We have a plug in hybrid vehicle and we were disappointed that there are no charging points in the private parking lot.

Great selections for breakfast. Staff were very welcoming and helpful with information on local restaurants and entertainment.

The host Cindy made sure that if we had questions she answered them. She also gave us a welcoming feeling and made the experience at the prince inn most enjoyable.

3rd floor room (Felipe) a little small, with angled ceiling ... I'm fairly tall so was leery of bumping my head (I didn't though). Lovely staff, beautiful building, clean, nice breakfast. Would recommend, 4.5/5.

Beautiful historic home. Extremely helpful staff/owners and breakfast options with eggs or sausages made to order. Ordered eggs over easy—perfect. Not the typical scrambled eggs offered by most places.
