Riad Aicha Marrakech

We had a great experience staying at this Riad! Even before we arrived, Abdulla came to meet us on the main street to walk us to the Riad and help with our luggage. The room and bathroom were clean, and when we asked for an extra bed, they arranged it for us immediately. Abdulla and the whole team were incredibly kind and welcoming throughout our stay. They always went the extra mile to make things easier for us, from preparing breakfast earlier so we could eat before our activities to arranging a late dinner when we arrived back late. Amazing hospitality and genuinely lovely people. We felt very welcome and well taken care of.

The air conditioning wasn’t very powerful, and on days when temperatures were over 40°C, it took a while to cool down the room.

Abdullah heeft ons heel vriendelijk ontvangen , is zeer behulpzaam. Rooftop heel mooi en gezellig. Lekker ontbijt. Aangenaam verblijf.

Buona colazione.

Amazing.

Everything was perfect

Rien

‘A little piece of Marrakech that will always feel like home’ ♥️ The riad is captivatingly beautiful & serene- every little detail, the colours, the architecture, the stunning rooftop, the beautiful Moroccan touches-but somehow despite its beauty, it doesn’t feel impersonal it feels like home. I was travelling alone, and that feeling of warmth and being genuinely welcomed meant more to me than I can put into words. Abdellah was absolutely wonderful! He welcomed me with a beaming smile and mint tea. He is genuinely kind, attentive and incredibly helpful. He never tired of me asking a million questions. Hajar makes beautiful breakfasts each day served on the roof terrace. Her warmth & kindness made me feel so cared for and she gives the best hugs! Sometimes it’s the smallest gestures that stay with you. Riad Aicha is conveniently located for accessing all the sights of Marrakech and I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Thank you, Abdellah & Hajar for your kindess, warmth and making my stay so special. I am already planning my next visit. Inshallah ♥️✨

I genuinely cant think of anything I didn’t like about the property.

Sehr empfehlenswert!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. From the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel genuinely welcome, comfortable, and at home. The atmosphere of the riad is beautiful, peaceful, authentic, and full of charm, a perfect place to relax after exploring Marrakech. A very special thank you goes to Abdullah at the reception. He was incredibly kind, professional, helpful, and always smiling. He helped us with every question and made our stay truly memorable. People like Abdullah are the reason guests want to come back again. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the riad itself is stunning.

Nothing

staff waqs very nice and helpfull

nothing

It was the perfect little oasis in a busy city.

Ras

Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel, schone kamer, alles netjes, mooi dakterras, heerlijk ontbijt.

Lokalita, krasne prostredi, oaza klidu uprostred mediny, prijemny a vstricny spravce, vse zaridil, vc.vyletu, tranferu, nic nebyl problem. Vyborna snidane.

Postele nepohodlne. Nebylo kam si vybalit veci. V pokoji slyset vse co se deje v Riadhu. Nefunkcni topeni/klimatizace, vlhko, zima (meli jsme smulu na pocasi a asi v Maroku na nej nejsou pripraveni, coz chapu. Ubytko i tak doporucuji, vizualne krasne, personal super a lokace skvela.

Most amazing service, everything was just exceptional since our arrival, our host arranged anything we needed, very happy with our stay

Everything was perfect

The staff were cordial and friendly though it was not enough to make up for severe deficits in the property.

We recently stayed at Riad Aicha Marrakech and unfortunately our experience fell well below expectations. First, the room layout lacked basic privacy—there was no door separating the bathroom from the sleeping area. This meant you could hear absolutely everything, which made the stay uncomfortable. The shower was also inconsistent: water temperature fluctuated between cold and very hot, with only brief moments of warm water. It made using the shower frustrating. Housekeeping was another issue. One morning, staff asked if we wanted the room cleaned and said they would refresh the sheets and leave more water. We agreed and handed over the key. However, when we returned later that day, nothing had been done—no cleaning, no fresh sheets, no water. The air conditioning/heating unit did not work. We reported this within the first hour of arrival due to a musty smell in the room, hoping to air it out. There was no response until our last day, when we were simply told a space heater could be provided. In terms of atmosphere, the riad lacked any sense of calm or serenity. From early morning until around 7pm, there was constant noise—people talking and moving around—so it never felt peaceful. The location was also a downside. It is about a 30–35 minute walk from the Medina and situated in a very underdeveloped area. While we were not personally bothered, it did not feel like a comfortable or desirable part of Marrakech. Overall, this stay did not meet our expectations, and unfortunately we would not return.

Peace and Tranquillity in the middle of chaos. A real Riad with no frills attached. Comfortable room and bed. Good traditional food and Great service from Abdul the concierge.

Lighting too low in the bathroom.

This was definitely the best travel experience I've ever had, the service was impeccable. They treated us like friends. The room was very clean and beautiful. The breakfast was rich and delicious. I promise I will be back!

Everything it’s perfect

The stuff was very kind from the fist moment to the last. Helping us with every thing. De breakfast excelent. The terrace very nice and confortable

At firs it looks far from Jemaa el -Fna but it's a walk of 20 minutes through litle local shops that makes you walk amusing.

No door on the bathroom 🙈 Good breakfast and excellent dinner!

Everything was perfect. We had a lot of problems on our travel regarding hotels and flying tickets, and finding this Riad was a relief in the middle of this chaos. Once you enter this Riad, you find peace, we felt like home. We were received with the traditional moroccan tea and pastries, and every single time our host made sure if we were okay or needed anything. There were nights that they provided us tea and that was lovely. Every day that we went out we could leave our key so they could clean the room. The breakfast is DELICIOUS! Once you wake up, you go to the rooftop and they serve you there, with a rich selection of pancakes, msmen and a lot of complements. Our host was incredible and kind and we are extremely grateful for all the attention. We hope to come back again soon. Thank you very much!

It is very clean and they were all So helpful. I would definitely recommend. Close to the centre and walkable distance to almost all activities

I like a lot how the saff managed our all requests regarding privat tours and guidence. Breakfast was excellent! I recomand this place.

The place is downtown but suroundig it wasn't really friendly.

Nice and cozy Riad. Big rooms. Amazing terrace where you can relax and have breakfast or dinner. Abdullah is a great host, always available and ready to help, he took very good care of us. Thank you to all the staff.

Beautiful place with warm hearted people. Wonderful breakfast in the most incredible terrace. Special thanks to helpful and very nice Abdullah, the man behind the logistics, who is now living on our hearts. Shukran

The breakfast was amazing, as was the optional dinner available for an extra fee. The Riad was stunning and clean. Abudullah in particular was an amazing host who went out of his way for us.

It was perfect! Beautiful and cozy place, everthing new and clean. Abdullah, was amazing. It was an wonderul experience!

A lovely ambiance. Lots of unique little nooks and crannies to while away reading, writing or time playing board games.

Nothing

Very nice, stylish riad with a fantastic rooftop a bit far from the heart of the Medina, but close to a gate (Bab Aylan). Breakfast was marvellous, so rich assortment and you can spend it on the rooftop (or in the atrium). Hafid is the best host I've ever met, nice, helpful, discrete. We enjoyed our stay very much.

I would like to highlight Abdullah's hospitality, he made sure we feel welcome and comfortable at all times! He was the best host!

Hotel staff ABDULLAH is a wonderful person. He is caring, respectful and very hardworking. He is with you whenever and wherever you need him. Thank you.

The area is like a labyrinth, a large square You have difficulty finding your way even when going and coming. People and motorcycles have great difficulty in very narrow streets. This problem is not the hotel's problem but the region's problem.

Good location inside the medina, easily accessible. The host was amazing! Went above and beyond the entire stay and made our time in Marrakech much more enjoyable. The breakfast every morning was delicious, had great variety, and was a perfect start for the day! Loved the hotel room, it was beautiful, spacious, and fit every need.

An amazing Riad with amazing host. Abdullah was incredible taking care of us and always available. Such a nice and sympathetic person which made us feel very welcome. The facilities were clean. The location is good but a couple of signs on the nearby main streets would be recomendable. Either way, if needed, Abdullah was available to pick us where we were to get back to the Riad. Luckily we didn't need 🙂

Such a nice clean and cosy Riad. Beautiful decorated! Very comfortable bed! Abdulha is a wonderful host. He made us feel at home and took good care of us. If we go back to Marrakech, we certainly would stay there again! Thank you Abdulha!

Norhing

The riad is very clean and confortable with a nice terrace where to relax in the evening after exploring the city. The location is good, in a quiet area but just 15 minutes walking from the main attractions of the medina. Also there is a parking place 5 minutes away for just 30 Dirham per night. Abdullah is very nice and helpful. He came to pick us up from the parking and he is always ready yo help for anything you may need.

Abdullah and Hafidah are very helpfull

Not possible to pay with creditcard, only cash. Very much probleem to find an atm in Marrakech.

Very polite and helpful hosts, beautiful interior and rooftop.

Street is not completely straight forward to find, but it is safe. Payment cash only, tall pillows

Es dificil tomar transporte

Juste une nuitée

Located inside the walls of the city (medina), in its oldest part, it’s perfectly placed for its proximity to Jemaa El-Fnaa. Loek is the perfect host: accommodating, patient and wonderfully chatty and knowledgeable about the city; appropriately supported by lovely staff. Breakfast, always served in the terrace, was the ideal start to the day. Loek would mingle with guests and we met several interesting people. Evenings, in the peaceful terrace, were the perfect wind down after the buzz of exploring the city. We had a fantastic time at Riad Aicha.

After enduring a 10-hour car ride, we were excited to check in, shower, and go to bed. However, our enthusiasm quickly dissipated upon entering. The entire establishment felt worn-out and outdated, lacking the charm and sophistication we had anticipated. Despite booking the family room, which boasted four beds, we were dismayed to discover that the bathroom and toilet were without doors. This lack of privacy and hygiene standards left us feeling cramped and uncomfortable, questioning the adequacy of the accommodation. Despite our exhaustion and the absence of alternative lodging options or access to Wi-Fi for booking, we made the difficult decision to leave. The riad, managed by only one elderly gentleman, gave off more of a hostel vibe than the upscale riad experience we had hoped for. We share our experience not to dwell on the negative, but to caution future guests. Everyone deserves a comfortable and pleasant stay, and unfortunately, this riad did not meet those expectations. We sincerely advise others to explore alternative accommodations in Marrakesh.

We stayed at Riad Aicha for a few nights. The room was great, very clean and a very comfortable bed. Sadly lacking a kettle which as tea addicts we now realise is non negotiable for us, but no big deal. The location was within walking distance to the main square and markets. Slightly disappointed that the advertised pool is empty and isn't available all year round. Breakfast was basic and you sat with the owner and his guest - which is okay just different/unexpected maybe. On the last day we felt a little like we were being asked to leave early after breakfast so they could clean. We then bumped into the owner whilst waiting for a taxi. He said oh you are still waiting, we said yes and that we were being followed by the local kids who relentlessly ask you for money and felt uncomfortable, he said goodbye then and wandered off. Mixed bag review.

This is an absolutely beautiful riad owned and run by a lovely Dutch guy. It’s a little way out of the centre of the medina but that makes the area more authentic and less touristy. The locals were poor but so friendly. This was a wonderful base from which to explore the madness of Marrakesh but also a place to return to and relax in peace and comfort.

It was really nice Riad in the old part of the city. Most of the things were in the walking distance. The owner was really nice and helpfull with a lot of valuable tips we did not know before. I would really recommend Riad Aicha!

Beatiful Riad in a genuine backstreet of Marrakesh. If you want the full authentic experience come here. Amazing views from the extensive roof terrace.

Small and nice traditional hotel, the owner is very nice and friendly, the lady who works there was great with a beautiful smile always on her face. Good experience in general.

We want to thank the owner for making our trip extremely smooth and easy. I recommend this riad for everybody!

l stayed 4 nights and l had a very good experience ther. The owner was really nice and helpful and he had breakfast together with us every morning. He made it feel like your home. l will for sure come back one day! Thanks!

Amazing riad! From the room to the staff to the location, you can’t get any better than this place. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed. I would highly recommend this riad to my friends and family.
