This place is the best hotel I’ve stayed in in vietnam in 4 weeks. Beds super comfy, got a free upgrade, balcony nice, air con, shower pressure and hot water great and the staff are super nice and really helpful with recommendations. Location amazing for nearby food. Really would recommend!

What a perfect stay it was. I was very happy by the service given by all staff, both people at the reception, the cleaning staff. And the manager who solved the little issues I had. I had a great room with a bqlcony overseeing the lively street. The location is oerfect too. With the weekend market nearby and some great coffeshops snd restaurants. I’ll be back!

Stewie was extremely helpful and was a really good host, he also recommend me to a day trip to Nin Binh and it turned out being perfect. If you come to this place you will have a great experience. Also Hannah upgraded my room for free, they just cant be more nice. If you have the chance to come here please stay here! Also the location is perfect, in the Old Quarter. Hannah, was outstanding, her english is really fluent and she has a beautiful family, she is so nice also. Mia is also a great worker and she works so hard! This hotel is 1000/10!! The customer service is great and the quality of the room is great also. I stayed in the room with a balcony and the view was amazing

Total sauber, schön, Lage super und das Personal ist total nett. Am Abreisetag wurde uns sogar ein kostenloses Upgrade angeboten, das wir leider aufgrund der Abreise nicht mehr annehmen konnten. Dennoch durften wir sogar länger im Zimmer bleiben, bis unser Taxi zum Flughafen kam.

Good location. The manager refunded all my money and let me leave. The manager tried her best to make sure everything was ok but unfortunately her attitude and treatment doesn’t correspond with the front desk employees

From the beginning the price was higher compared to other hotels and it didn’t include a breakfast. There were hairs in the shower Fridge that doesn’t cool I asked for a chair for my suitcase, since I have back pain. Stevie in the reception said they have no such thing . suddenly after my repeated attempts to state that I have back pain and need a chair for the suitcase, suddenly they do have one. I was told by the male receptionist that they will reserve me the same room for another night and that I can pay by the morning. I checked it again with the girl receptionist who insisted that I pay for the room in the morning for an extra night and that I dont have to pay right now. Suddenly I get strange massages from her on wattsup while I am out in the evening that are asking me how much I paid until now. I didn’t understand why she is approaching me on wattsup instead of her colleagues . It was completely unprofessional inasked her why and she avoided telling me. In hindsight, I understand they probably sold the room they said will be reserved for me to another person in a higher price, and she wanted to make sure that I still didn’t pay for it. I’ve been to enough places to know what basic respect for a guest is. And that’s not here. When I confronted stevie the receptionist he laughed in my face. Because of that I had to go look for hotels instead of spending time in Hanoi,Pack again and pay for a taxi. I found a hotel for the same price with breakfast, same location, A better room and most importantly : respectful and helpful attitude from the reception. All in all I dont recommend this place . I guess they saw a female solo traveler and decided it was ok to treat with disrespect and make a joke of. The manager tried to help but it was too late, she was kind and let me leave and refunded me. So at least that

Loved this hotel, the location was just perfect ! It was really to everything. Also, the staff was extremely nice and gave a lot of good recommendations. In particular, Stewie was so kind and helpful ! :) We really recommend this hotel !

Staff were extremely helpful with lots of good information on tours, ATM etc. Good communication from the beginning to the end. A lift to the 4th floor was appreciated. Quiet street to look out onto from the balcony.

Very central in the old district, the staff were beyond accommodating. From laundry to food,attractions and cafe suggestions. Very clean rooms and stored our luggage also.

Mint and Stewie on reception we're both sensational with a genuine interest to answer my questions and give me directions. I am 86 and I've travelled the world and the Antique Angel hotel is one of the best hotel experiences I have ever experienced. Little things by a free upgrade to a room of the balcony, being given bananas etc and Stewie helping me find my iPhone when I lost it. All in all a memorable experience.

This Hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the Old Quarter, with everything within walking distance. A special thanks to Mint at the reception for her warm hospitality and helpful recommendations. She assisted us with our tickets to Ninh Binh and suggested great places to visit, eat, and enjoy coffee nearby. Highly recommend this hotel for its great location and outstanding staff!

Excellent location- everything is a short walk away. Lovely views from the balcony. The staff and family make you feel so special and like a part of the family - so friendly and helpful in organizing everything you need. air conditioning is perfect and the beds are so comfortable- nice hot showers with really good water pressure, plenty of bottled water is provided for your comfort. We had the lovely staff organize a lot of our tours and it was so perfect. Highly recommend to stay here - it is perfect.

Lo staff della reception, gentilissimi sia Mint che Stewie(spero non aver sbagliato i nomi). Mi hanno organizzato i tour dei primi giorni (molto belli, soprattutto quello a Ninh Binh ) e si sono prodigati sempre a chiedermi come fosse andata. Stanza grande e comoda. Molto apprezzata la lista con ristoranti e attrazioni da conoscere che ti preparano in reception. Hotel consigliato. Grazie mille.

Acqua della doccia non caldissima. Posizione un po’ caotica. Cosa minore, la carta magnetica ha smesso di funzionare il secondo giorno e quindi ho dovuto fare qualche ritorno in reception. Alla fine comunque hanno trovato una soluzione dandomi una carta sostitutiva.

Az ágy hatalmas, a párna kényelmes, a fürdőszoba tökéletes, van vízforraló, kávé, tea, víz. A recepción szuper kedves és segítőkész emberek dolgoznak, akikre mindenben lehet számítani, pl. programok szervezése, jó éttermek, pénzváltóhelyek ajánlása. Nagyon köszönjük a sok segítséget, amit tőlük kaptunk, bármikor szívesen visszamennénk.

Like our Sa Pa hotel, I didn't set much expectation. But this one is a great find! The rooms were very clean and comfy, the location is great, and the staff was soooo friendly and helpful. The WIFI is also awesome, didn't have problems doing my remote work. What made this stay unforgettable is Stewie helping us find an extra luggage for our stuff. It was late in the evening but luckily the night market was still open. He put the location in the Google Map and we found a nice luggage quickly! We will definitely stay here again! This hotel is highly recommended!

A little small

The room was quite spacious, comfortable and clean. Staff were super friendly and kindly stored our bags for a few days while we were out of town. Great location being in the old quarter but not too busy either.

Our shower had black mould. The walls of the rooms were quite thin which is the usual for many hotel rooms in the Old Quarter. We could hear someone in the building next door play loud music until after midnight and also the lift in the building. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

Struttura in ottima posizione, camere accoglienti pulite e ben ristrutturate, personale gentilissimo che ci ha accolti a braccia aperte e fornito ottimi consigli con una lista dei locali consigliati e dei posti da vedere, ci hanno offerto un ottimo deposito bagagli senza fretta per il ritiro e possibilità di utilizzare i servizi igienici al ritiro!

El personal era muy atentos, siempre asegurándose de que estábamos cómodos y dándonos todo tipo de facilidad. Reservamos a través de ellos un excursión de 1 día a Ha Long Bay y por la subida del precio de la gasolina los que ofrecían el tour pidieron un extra fee; el hotel asumió parte de esa subida. Además, pudimos dejar las maletas después de hacer el check-out casi el día entero, permitiéndonos también ir al baño y regalándonos una botella de agua fría antes de irnos por el calor. Además, nuestro próximo destino era el Hi Giang Loop y en caso de volver a Hanoi, nos ofrecieron guardar nuestras maletas hasta la vuelta. Especial mención al recepcionista de la tarde/noche, con quien más trato tuvimos y quien hizo que nuestra experiencia fuese más gratificante.

The hotel arranged an airport pickup for us and the driver was waiting when we landed, even after a longer-than-usual immigration queue, which was really appreciated. On arrival, the lady on reception was very welcoming and provided us with a helpful sheet of recommended places to visit around Hanoi. The room itself was clean and great value for money. We were given complimentary water every day, and the owner even gave us extra bottles when we checked out as we had a long journey ahead to Ha Long Bay – a really thoughtful touch. The location is also ideal, as the street is much quieter compared to other areas in Hanoi where I’ve stayed previously, which made for a more relaxing stay. We would definitely stay here again next time we visit Hanoi.

Hotel is located at very good location. Most of tourist attractions are near by like Lake, Trainstreet, Puppet Water Show, Night Market, Shopping. Hotel has elevator. Rooms are bit smaller so is case with most of hotels in Old Quarters. Reception is open 24Hours. They can help you with Airport pick up/ drop at reasonable price. They can help you with Travel to SAPA or any other place. Many restaurants are near by. Room is comfortable. Prefer rooms with balcony. Host guided to nearby Shopping market.Value for money. Will recommend others to stay here.

Un petit hotel presque familial au cœur du old quarter mais dans une rue calme la nuit. L’accueil est fantastique , Mint à l’accueil est toujours prête à organiser des tours et des visites sur Hanoi ou ailleurs. Le propriétaire est très avenant et accueillant pareil pour le réceptionniste de nuit. C’est un hôtel simple au rapport qualité/prix fantastique.

Late arrival - we returned to Hanoi very late- early morning hours.

ハノイの定宿です．全てにおいて毎回満足しています． 今回，初めてバルコニーの無い裏側の部屋に泊まりましたが，開閉可能な小さな窓があるため，思ったほど閉塞感は感じませんでした．ただし，窓の外はシャフトであり，光は入るものの，外の景色はありません．長期間泊まるのであれば，バルコニー付きの部屋が空いていれば，室料が少し高くてももそちらの方が良いでしょう． ホテルのオーナーやスタッフは相変わらずホスピタリティに溢れていて，とても素晴らしい楽しい滞在となりました．次回のハノイ訪問でも，またこのホテルに宿泊することでしょう．

L’équipe de l’hôtel est au petit soin et nous a beaucoup aidés que ça soit dans la planification des activités ou dans les recommandations pour sortir dans la vieille ville. Merci beaucoup à Mint, Stewie et le patron pour votre accueil et votre aide.

Location is good and less crowded compared to other streets in Hanoi. Rooms were decent with balcony that was a plus. Nice and breezy.

Bathrooms are extremely small. For a 6 footer i found it difficult to use the shower. No breakfast is a big negative especially for the price they charge. Hesitant to accept card payments. Lift is a bit slow. Parking is a hassle especially at night they ask you to park you motorbike in the nearby parking lot citing safety concerns. Had to pay 15000 VND for the same.

A nice value-for-money hotel with an excellent view from the balcony. The room was comfortable and pleasant to stay in. Mint, the receptionist, was also a great travel agent she helped arrange all the activities we wanted to do in Hanoi during our stay and even assisted with booking our bus for the onward journey. Overall, we loved the property, its location, and the wonderful people.

Lovely hotel. Very convenient location. Very friendly, helpful staff.

The hotel is small, but very well located - close to everything in the old quarter and not far from the citadel. The rooms are a bit tiny, but clean and comfortable. We stayed in a balcony room and enjoyed our spacios balcony. The best part thought was the staff. They were friendly and helpfull, always ready to help with whatever we needed - from arranging airport transfer, trouhg offering tour arrangmets to giving us advice on when we can get the best exchage rate or withdraw monney from an ATM without fee.
