The Lodge at Kingswood

Excellent location. Clean & spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Comfortable lounge/bar area. Good food including excellent breakfast. Good VFM. Can thoroughly recommend & would be my first choice for any future stays in S.London/Surrey area.

Didnt have time to play golf but the course looked great !

A beautifully appointed room. Very modern and smart. Exceptionally clean. Comfortable bed. And facilities are perfect. Great value for money. Breakfast was beautiful too.

Only 1 thing which is very small. The milk for the coffee and tea facility in the room was soya milk which was horrible. That is the only negative.

The location was luxury, the room was very spacious and comfortable, we had a very nice deep sleep as there was no noise at all around the hotel. The shower and bathroom were spacious and super clean. The check in staff were very friendly and led us to the room, highly professional. Air con was working nicely and we were showed how to use the air con which was a nice touch. We will be returning again very soon. We were also able to buy some chocolate bars at the reception which was a nice bonus.

Lovely relaxing location

Food in the restaurant is basic, the menu really needs a revamp to offer a wider range, especially for a vegetarian diet. In the room the pillows were too soft, we requested firm pillows but the hotel didn't have any.

the hotel was amazing every thing was great

a bigger breakfast menu

The room was lovely

The breakfast staff were a little sharp!

Quiet secluded spot with comfortable well equipped rooms.

Was a little hard to find as it’s at the end of a residential road - just keep going after the sat nav gives up!

Location was great the bedrooms were very nice and clean and the clubhouse was really good

Everything was good

Room is air conditioned and comfortable. Beds are very comfortable with almost no disturbance from sleeping partner. Breakfast is fresh with a variety of items.

Polite and helpful staff Very modern and spotlessly clean

Noisy aircon

Everything! Room, food, staff, view, air con!

Everything was first class, Great food.

Nothing

Clean - quiet and very friendly

The bar closes too early

Golf

Nothing

The large bedroom was well thought out with security lights in bathroom and by door that couldn’t be seen from the bed. The location was good

That it doesn’t have a proper restaurant.

A beautiful stay at The Lodge Kingswood Highly recommended, everything was perfect and the staff were so friendly and accommodating

Nothing

Great location. Had lynch with friends nearby. Great food, comfortable rooms, breakfast was delicious

Wonderful stay at The Lodge. Friendly, clean and the airco in the room was a blessing. We asked for a room near reception and The Lodge gave us that, so thank you for that. We will be back!

Nothing

super Lage, tolles Personal, Top Essen und gute Zimmer

bei den hohen Temperaturen, wäre ein Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer super. Aber das ist dann auch schon ein Luxusproblem ;-)

Easy parking and access to reception plus rooms had aircon… lovely. Terrace and bar services a great pint and good menu

People talking about golf when I had no time for it as on business

Only stayed one night but was everything we needed. Comfortable and clean with good shower, tea making facilities, and TV. Breakfast was in the clubhouse where you basically ordered anything you want off the menu, and sit and look out over the golf course.

Food was excellent

Location and staff are great. It’s really quiet and peaceful.

WiFi was poor and the curtains weren’t particularly effective.

Sehr schönes Hotel, tolles Zimmer und wirklich zuvorkommendes Personal.

Dass wir nur eine Nacht da bleiben konnten.

Really nice set up. Part of golf club. Breakfast in club house, and do lunch and dinner too. No worries parking. Friendly people. We walked down to a pub and curry about 30mins away. Interesting walking past the big houses of Kingswood.

Nothing. May we'll return.

The staff were so friendly and the room was absolutely amazing with such a beautiful view of the golf course.

Exceptional Hotel, very comfortable and will definitely be back.

Nothing springs to mind.

Nice welcome from reception, good size room, beautiful sat outside at the clubhouse, quiet.

Breakfast (2 x pancakes) took 45 mins from ordering to serving and it really wasn’t busy. (Friday 24th July, ordered 8.45am ish) Nowhere in the room to hang shower towels - could do with some hooks on a door.

Beautiful clean and comfortable

Air conditioned rooms. Brand new decor, fresh and clean.

WiFi was poor. However, they were upgrading their networks during my stay.

A room with a view across the lovely golf course.

Quiet location, beautiful views from room.

The surrounding landscape was stunning

Hairdryer was not functional but the staff offered us the use of the changing rooms

Location

Great room, air con was much needed after a long hot journey. Comfy bed. Spotlessly clean

Breakfast was only mediocre

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a quiet area, so sleep was uninterrupted. We were a bit late for dinner but the clubhouse staff accommodated us and accepted our late dood orders.

It was very clean, the staff are lovely.

Very poor internet and phone signal

Olly (staff member that welcomed us at 21:00, made sure we could still have dinner and was there again early next morning to arrange all we needed), location, playing golf in the morning :)

On a location like this, a swimming pool would complete the package :)

Le calme, la propreté de la chambre. Petit déjeuner excellent.

Great golf club with accommodation in lovely grounds. Booked to stay after Wimbledon and was only 35min drive. Lovely, friendly staff, decent sized double room overlooking the golf course. Even had an ironing board and iron! Enjoyed evening meal and great atmosphere in the bar for the England match! Breakfast was included in the price which was also very nice.

Nothing!

Clean

I enquired via email if an earlier check in was possible and got a personal reply very promptly. When I arrived at the hotel the ladies on reception were very welcoming, genuinely friendly.

Everything, beautiful views, room was beautiful and clean, great value for money, free parking and breakfast included. Would definitely recommend!

Small gestures like pre-cooling the room for my arrival was very welcome! Staff and breakfast spot on, even travelling solo it was very pleasant enjoying the terrace overlooking the golf course during dinner.

The parking, rooms & restaurant were just what we needed

The golfers weren’t warmly friendly

Everything

Nothing

Quiet and peaceful. Location. Good value. Restaurant food good for a club house facility. Free parking.

Very clean and comfortable and staff very friendly.

Nothing I didn’t like.

Everything, hidden gem

No complaints at all

Room, location

Breakfast seemed very disorganised on Sunday morning

Great stay will stay here againx

Great hotel, had an issue with the room, we were moved immediately, can't fault the service

Some breakfast staff are a little surly

Bath and lights and jets were cool Location is quiet and beautiful Style of hotel is good

Fridge door didn't shut, woke up to spoiled baby milk which is very frustrated There is a sky light in the main room which was bright until nearly 11pm so our two children couldn't sleep, it then woke up all up early - this is not ok for a hotel, where you're meant to be having a great night sleep, it doesn't make sense Curtains don't shut properly either There was an event that was loud, that we weren't told about

Peaceful, beautiful and friendly. Great breakfast!

Very clean and Modern with A/C 👍🏼

Possibly a small fridge in the Room,

Lovely setting, there during hot weather, air con wonderful. Recommend to anyone.

Surroundings lovely area

The twin-bed room at the Lodge was very comfortable, spacious, clean and quiet, with a view directly onto the golf course. We really appreciated the air conditioning on the hot days in June. All the essentials were available in the room. The bathroom and shower were excellent. We enjoyed a good breakfast and evening meal in the clubhouse.

Nothing negative to say - we thoroughly recommend it

excellent

pillows were not as good as hoped

Fabulous scenery and well planned room. Breakfast was amazing- staff was fabulous and friendly!

There was a strange humming noise in the room, the only way to get rid of it was to turn the air con on????

Helpful, welcoming staff on reception, clean quiet room with balcony overlooking the golf course.

It would be helpful to The Lodge guests if breakfast tables could be set aside for them in the golf club restaurant with staff coming to take their orders rather than having to approach the bar to place orders.

Welcoming at Reception. Being on a golf course was relaxing. Nice place to relax with a drink

Nothing

Beautiful location on a golf course. Unbelievably friendly staff, very clean environment, rooms were immaculate and comfortable. Just superb all round.

This was bit of hidden gem booked on the fly at last min. Safe secure parking. The welcome was warm friendly and efficient. The room was a decent enough size for the price with a comfortable bed, a well appointed bathroom, decent desk space for working. The room felt fairly fresh with modern decor. The food in the bar was very nice and fairly priced and the breakfast team made me a sandwich and coffee to go as was getting away quite early.

No complaints, excellent for business travellers and golfers alike.

the room was lovely and clean

the pillows weren't very comfortable.

Arrived from Gatwick airport in the middle of the night just for an overnight stay prior to travelling back to our home in Hull the next morning, as it is a 4 1/2 hour drive.

Nothing.

Lovely rooms. We booked 10 out for a family celebration and they were all clean. Beautiful area and lots of green space.

The Room, also parking and location

Breakfast wasn't clear how to get it and the location.

our room was very big and roomy so not at all cramped, exceptioal bathroom with a huge bath and lots of hot water. Very comfortable furnishings. All the home conforts neccesary.

nothing all perfect

Beautiful surroundings, peaceful, well presented rooms and friendly staff

Lovely room at a lovely venue. The cooked breakfast was huge and freshly cooked.

Lovely comfortable bed and clean everywhere

The overnight oats woukd prefer hot porridge with fruit as in the winter menu lovely!

Very nice room with a good view over the golf course. Very clean and plenty of room to hang clothes.
