I was greeted by Sasa at check in, process was quick. I booked a standard room turned out to be spacious. This stay was without breakfast. Looking forward to return and try the restaurant. Overall it was pleasant stay

I am deeply disappointed with the hotel's lack of integrity and poor response after I lost my digital watch during my stay. Immediately after checking out, I realised my watch was missing. It took me only about two hours from checkout to arriving at the airport to notice it was no longer on my wrist. I did not go anywhere else during that time, and I am absolutely certain that I left the watch in my room. I made every possible effort to contact the hotel – I sent emails, made phone calls, and sent text messages. Despite my persistence, it took three full days for the hotel to finally respond. When I did receive an answer, both the Lost & Found team and the management simply told me that they could not find my watch. What disappointed me the most was the hotel's lack of integrity and urgency. Instead of taking immediate action or providing a clear and respectful explanation, I was left waiting for days with no proper follow-up. As a guest, I expect a hotel of this standard to act promptly and transparently when it comes to a guest's lost personal property. I truly hope the hotel improves its lost-and-found procedures and takes guest concerns more seriously in the future.

Had a great stay at this hotel. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. The carpark was easy to locate, which made arrival and departure very convenient. The room was spacious and very clean, and the bedsheets were super clean as well, which I really appreciated. The location is a big plus too—surrounded by plenty of food options and within walking distance to Plaza. Would definitely consider staying here again.

My husband and I stayed here from 5-7th Feb 2026. It was a very pleasant check in and the staff attending to us was Vijay. He was very helpful and pleasant. The room was a good size and had a good view. Breakfast was very good and staff in attendance were efficient. A big shout-out to Sasa who helped us with the safe in our room. The hotel itself is in a very good and convenient location. This happens to be our second time staying here and we'll definitely be back!

Excellent hotel with great service. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and housekeeping did a good job. Staff were professional and welcoming. The location is perfect with many restaurants nearby. Definitely exceeded my expectations — will come back again.

I stayed at The Trove for two weeks in December. The staff was incredible and made sure my stay was enjoyable in every way. Linda at the front desk, Rashid in housekeeping, Alvin at the Borneo Spa, and the staff at the great breakfast buffet, especially stand out in their efforts to make my stay enjoyable. The location was a plus with several outstanding restaurants within walking distance. I’ll definitely return to the Trove the next time I travel to JB!

We have spent two weeks here as part of a volunteer service team. We were welcomed warmly at the front desk by Linda. During our stay she was extremely helpful by sharing information about Johor Bahru and answering our many questions. She was extremely kind and thoughtful. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The cleaning staff did a wonderful job of making sure we had everything we needed. We ate breakfast every day and found a wonderful array of foods, including many Malayan options. The staff were also friendly and helpful. Sue made some special selections that she thought we might want. Great place to stay! Will stay there again if we return to Johor Bahru.

I was excited when I learnt that Trove has a “state of the art” gym. But I was disappointed when the only state of the art equipment was the body craft machine at the corner of the gym. May be worth while putting more dumbbells, include mats, bench and resistance bands. A squat rack will make the gym truly state of the art, on top of the few mentioned above. Our room shower heater was not working and we had to use the bath tub shower head to shower. The safe was unusable due to low battery. Water dispenser water was too hot even when using the “normal” dispenser. The corridor outside the room had a terrible stench. We didn’t feedback to the reception as it was a short night stay while we travel back South from Sepang. Other than these, the room was actually great: - big bed for me and 2 kids to sleep in - comfortable pillows - nice design of the room Besides, just a small suggestion to consider a door between the bedroom and the living room if u are doing any reno soon. Some people may need it.

All hotels were fully booked for this weekend. We managed to get the last room with the kind assistance from Vijay. He is extremely polite and helpful which let me and my family really enjoyed this stay!

Duty Manager Mr Vijay was exceptionally helpful and polite in guiding us with our bus booking from JB to KL. He truly went above and beyond to assist us with the arrangements and was extremely courteous throughout. We felt very safe and well taken care of, and were truly glad to have met him. Our stay at Trove was made even more pleasant because of the outstanding customer service. We are very happy to have chosen this hotel and will definitely book here again whenever we visit JB.

We had a Western buffet for our department dinner, and the overall arrangement by En. Amri and his team was excellent, with quick and responsive service. The food was enjoyable, especially the live BBQ station on-site. Overall, it was a great experience, and we look forward to repeating it again.

Location is very near custom, KSL, mid valley southkey, plaza sentosa etc. Grab to any these places is relatively affordable and seldom stuck in jam. Room is spacious and clean. Hotel nearby has good food options as well ranging from hotpot to thai cuisine. Reception staffs and friendly and helpful. Check-in and out experience is pleasant and seamless. Highly recommended stay with Trove!

Trove is a beautiful place for us to hold wedding, we had church solemnisation ceremony in the small hall and lunch banquet in the big hall all at the same level, it’s convenient! Our sales coordinator Ms Julie is extremely helpful, we had difficult times with the other coordinator but after we requested for a change, Ms Julie didn’t hesitate to help us and made our wedding a successful one. Appreciate her a lot!

Our go-to staycay hotel now.. Check-in was assisted by a lady at the front desk — tan skin with short hair, didn’t catch her name, but she was pleasantly warm & welcoming throughout the process. This time we got room 2113 & we loveee the view from the 21st floor! Our previous stay was in room 2110, but 2113 is way better as it faces a nicer view instead of another building. However, we always don’t appreciate being given a connecting room. Room was clean & neat as always, & we absolutely love the shower pressure. May consider to stay here again..

Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever experienced at a 4-star hotel. When we came back to our room after going out, our key card suddenly stopped working. We went to the reception for help, and the staff member casually said it’s “normal” and even admitted he knew it wouldn’t work when he saw us heading to the lift earlier. Seriously? What kind of service is that? None of the guys in reception aplogised. Completely unprofessional, careless, and disrespectful toward guests. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Stay away from this place guys, definitely not worth it for the money you pay.

I visited the hotel last month and had an amazing day there. Even though we attended an event and didn't have the honor of staying a night in the premises the whole experience is unforgettable. The staff was awesome and the whole atmosphere is just so welcoming and outstanding. Event Manager Julie not only played a huge role in making the whole event a success but also a really positive and particularly cheerful one for us. She's amazing in the execution of her work, competent and approachable. Her excellent work definitely made my day and those around me. The staff at Trove are friendly and willing to help out when needed. A very convenient place, with a convenience store, a cafe and a massage place within the hotel, you don’t really need to leave the area. There are a few massage places walking distance from the hotel as well and multiple places to eat if hungry at night. Rooms are big but cleanliness of the rooms can be improved (especially the toilets and the floors of the rooms are quite dusty). WiFi may not be the best. All in all, will stay again for a short trip!

Overall is 5 star... Recommend for business trip. The cleanliness of room is clean, and the location is absolutely the best because there a lot of restaurant or warung you can lepaking with friends...

The halls and the facilities were well-maintained, and any requests were handled promptly and with a smile. Julie was super helpful. She worked out a good package for our requirements and everything went smoothly for the 3-days event. The food catered was tasty and abundant in quantity. The Level 8 staff are all fast to respond and very friendly. Check-in wasn't as pleasant initially but it eventually worked out. The rooms are quite big and the bed is really comfortable. The semiar room was very well set up, except that the sound-proofing can be improved as we could hear quite a lot of noise from the surroundings (kitchen, lift lobby, swimming pool). Overall, it was a very good stay and experience!

Food choices are not much. Cakes were cut small pcs, not whole. Waited for 30min but Dim sum session no refill. Eggs a little plain. Front desk Customer service is great! Net flix and filtered hot & cold water is a good plus. massage salon at level 1. Convenient for travelers who are time tight.

I was served by the trove manager - Julie, who significantly helped me alot in arranging for my event. Held a classroom seminar yesterday, and the event was launched successfully. With her professional kind advice, i took the menu of - Durian Goreng - for one of my tea break menu, since she recommend it as Trove signature food haha :D. The food was taste very delicious and satisfied. Other than that, the overall ballroom booking process with her also very efficient. Due to company issue, I was forced to search for a suitable hotel ballroom for the venue of the event in very last minute (certain days before the event). But she still be very patience with me and arranged everything for me according to my needs. (Not recommend to book last minute like me) . Overall, thanks Trove hotel & Ms Julie for the assistance, appreciate it. :)

Our company just had an event here at the grand ballroom Ms. Julie and Mr. Jojo are very prof, attentive and well taken care our needs to ensure everything is done smoothly.

The hotel room is clean and sizeable. Breakfast is a good variety of spread. But need to go early as good dishes finishes fast. Location is central. I want to highlight the service by Ragawan, she is very helpful and will do all she can to help. My son left his laptop cable in the room and she took iniatives to find and package it nicely to be couriered back to us.

Although there were a lot of last minute requests and changes to accommodate the needs of our stakeholder, Julie was quick to respond and made changes accordingly. From the first interaction, it has been very easy for me. So, thank you Julie for always being attentive to our needs. To Jojo and Mr Baha, thank you for being quick to respond to our needs prior and during the event day. Thank you Jojo for being very accommodating to our banquet requests, be it last minute or not, you're always there to assist us and help us make the necessary arrangements. To Mr Baha, thank you for helping us setting up the AV system during our rehearsal and the event day itself. Despite the frequency of assistance that we need, you're always quick to respond. To the front desk team, Vijay, Ainna and Lynda, thank you for ensuring the check-ins went smoothly and with minimal disruptions. I appreciate the quick response whenever we have requests. Despite the number of guests checking-in, we receive no complaints at all in terms of check-in process. All in all, thank you so much TROVE team for accommodating us and for making our experience there unforgettable. Our event was executed seamlessly and I know all of that was the effort put by all of you. So, thank you and I would not hesitate to come again.

With a large number of attendees, managing room check-ins could have easily become chaotic, but they ensured everything was coordinated smoothly and with minimal disruption. They were always on their toes, accommodating every request with patience and professionalism. Their efforts made the arrival and check-in process effortless for both me and my guests.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and always ready to help. The room was spotless, spacious, and had a beautiful view. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of fresh options. Satisfied with Puan Linda and team from the beginning of deal till check out services. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and definitely stay here again.

We (a group of 20 over people) from the Sutra Foundation had traveled to Jb for a performance and stayed at the Trove Hotel. Definitely a good choice! Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Pleasant breakfast too. We were greeted and looked after really well by Mr Vijay, who took great care of us throughout our stay. Wonderful hospitality! Much recommended stay.

I had the pleasure of staying at Trove Hotel last month for two days in connection with a business meeting. the hotel's location was convenient, and I was impressed by the cleanliness of both the meeting hall and the guest rooms. The food served was excellent and truly enjoyable. I would especially like to commend Mr. Raagavan for his outstanding hospitality and professionalism. He was exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout my stay.

Amazing stay at TROVE My agency had a 2 day event here in June. Location wise - amazing. Convenient to get around the city. A big thank you to Pn Linda for her excellent service! 👍🏻 She was very friendly, easy to communicate with, and always ready to assist us. Her team also responded quickly to our inquiries during the event. Meeting rooms are well equipped. Food was amazing! 👍🏻 One small suggestion would be to consider is adding a coffee machine for added convenience. Hotel rooms was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. Appreciate the existence of water filter machine in the room. We had a great stay. The facilities are top notch. Thank you so much Pn Linda and team! Great hospitality 👍🏻
