Boutique hotel on the edge of town, but close to the eco village and adjacent to rice paddies. Nice staff, great breakfast and OK room with balcony.

The friendliness of the staff immediately stands out. Beautiful room with a stunning view over Hanoi, thoughtful touches like complimentary snacks and fresh fruit, and an amazing view from the pool and rooftop bar. I also had the best salmon salad I’ve ever eaten there.

The shower temperature fluctuated at times, suddenly becoming very hot before returning to normal. The air conditioning also had a small issue now and then; turning it off and back on again temporarily fixed the problem. It was also a bit unfortunate that there was no hairdryer in the bathroom, though that’s really just a minor detail.

Très jolie vue et très reposant. Tout était très bien la chambre était dotée de Clim bien éclairée etc. Les lits étaient confortables et bien décoré. Le service de location de vélo était impeccable aussi. On a très bien était accueillie. C’est dans une rue marchande donc y’a de quoi ce nourrir, s’habiller etc.

Un hôtel avec un personnel très sympathique, ils nous ont proposé une excursion, nous ont prêté des vélos pour visiter les villages alentours.

L’hôtel est proche d’une route fréquentée avec heureusement la vue sur la rizière, mais une prochaine route est en construction.

Le personnel est très accueillant. Le balcon avec vue sur les rizières, c'est très reposant. Tout est propre et soigné. Le café Vallée view propose de très bons mocktails et sandwichs. Lits confortables et très bon petit-déjeuner. Une carte nous a permis de faire du vélo , en traversant villages et rizières. Parfait!

Very nice view, owners are really helpful and can provide good tours!

Beautiful location just on the edge of town, but still easy to get to the main street and shops and an easy walk to the local handicraft vilages.. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the owner very kindly booked travel for us to get back to the airport and talked to the taxi driver who had brought us to arrange for us to pick up of the hat I'd left in his car. The room was large, clean and comfortable, bed was huge and the view from the window was lovely. Good breakfast, and the coffee shop upstairs is very good too.

The room is comfortable and has a nice view of the rice fields. The owner is helpful and can arrange bike / motorbike rentals and transfers. Good wifi and internet.

Very weak water pressure in the shower. The fridge turns off when you leave the room which makes it harder to keep drinks cold.

Balcón con vistas a los campos de arroz. Una preciosidad. Habitación cómoda. Propietario siempre presente y de respuesta rápida a cualquier necesidad. Súper eficiente. Resto del personal muy amable. Alquiler de bicicletas en perfecto estado para recorrer la zona, que merece muchísimo la pena. Desayuno bueno.

The hotel breakfast (beef noodle soup) gave me an upset stomach. Since this hotel is one of the more pricey options in Mai Chau this should not have happened.

Beautiful view of rice fields and mountains from the balcony! The pho at breakfast was so good! They have English speaking staff. You can rent a bike at the hotel and the bike ride into the village was really cool. Also banh mi you can get at the restaurant was delicious!

A few towels were a bit dirty when we first checked in.

Завтрак был по меню, все было очень вкусно и быстро. Хозяин разрешил оставить чемодан, пока мы уехали на водопады. Хозяин нам помог забронировать мопед, забронировал нам лимузин из Халонг и предоставил трансфер до Пу Лонг. Хозяин всегда на связи, отвечает на сообщения быстро! Рекомендую отель и хозяина!

Très belle vue des champs depuis la chambre qui était spacieuse et confortable. Le petit déjeuner était copieux et bon et le personnel était aux petits soins. Nous avons pu y louer des vélos pour découvrir les environs et l'hôtelier nous a recommandé une boucle de visite très sympa.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Grande chambre, propre, literie très confortable, vue sur les rizières de la terrasse, bon petit déjeuner avec fruits, œufs, pain chaud, beurre, confiture, crêpes, plats Vietnamiens… Le personnel est vraiment à l’écoute et aux petits soins. Nous avons loué un scooter par leur intermédiaire. Billets de bus pour la suite de notre voyage également réservés ici.

This was a good value hotel on the edge of a small town. Most of the back packers stay in homestays in the villages, so the town itself is unspoilt. Great views across the fields, but some noise from the main road, although fairly quiet at night. The hotel was super friendly and helpful, giving us directions for a cycle tour which was amazing to see the countryside and rural life. Also helped booking a trip to Pu Luong, laundry and airport transfer. Big beds too. We enjoyed our stay.

Quel endroit charmant, au cœur de Mai Chau, proche de tout. Un excellent point de départ pour explorer cette région. L'accueil de l'ensemble du personnel a été excellent, beaucoup d'attentions, de conseils, d'écoute et de bienveillance, plein de services proposés (sans surcoût) : vélo, scooter, bus pour Ninh Binh dans notre cas. Et tout ça avec un rapport qualite prix incroyable Je recommande à 100%

The position, the view overlooking the rice paddies. As a family run hotel, everyone was charming and helpful. Housekeeping staff were excellent. Sparkling white net curtains are a sure sign of a well-run hotel!

De ruime kamer met balkon en schitterend uitzicht. Wij zaten op de 4e verdieping, met het mooiste uitzicht. Ruimte badkamer met aparte douche. Uitstekend ontbijt met voldoende variatie en onbeperkt bijbestellen. Leuke aparte bar op de eerste verdieping. Duong en zijn familie zijn super aardig en behulpzaam. Denken mee met het indelen van je dag etc.

Als er dan toch iets is, dan zijn het de matrassen, die hebben kuilen en zijn dus 'voorgevormd'. Gek genoeg vond ik dat juist comfortabel.

Wat een geweldig verblijf. Uitzicht op rijstvelden echt adembenemend. Bij binnenkomst al zo een warm ontvangst. Een kopje Vietnamese thee en een ijskoud doekje uit de koelkast om ons gezicht af te koelen (was nodig na onze lange trip). Bijzonder lief stel. Ontbijt en de lunch waren verrukkelijk. De eigenaar sprak goed Engels en hielp je echt bij alles en zwaaide ons nog zelfs uit toen we in de auto zaten. Alsof familie gedag zei!

El personal es muy amable, encantadores. Hicieron que nuestra estancia fuese muy cómoda y solo nos preocupasemos de disfrutar. Tienen un desayuno bueno y abundante, sirven cenas muy buenas. En la parte de arriba tienen un café donde preparan unos smooties deliciosos. Nos facilitaron todos los transportes para llegar y salir, también para visitar la zona con un taxi que nos llevó a todos los sitios interesantes y con quién pasamos una jornada inolvidable. Para conocer los arrozales cercanos nos proporcionaron un mapa "casero" muy útil para no dejarte ningún rincón por visitar. La habitación es amplia, cómoda y limpia. Con unas vistas impresionantes.

Para nosotros no hubo nada que no nos agradara.

Spacious room with fridge and lovely view, many breakfast options, perfect location in the Mai Chau valley. You can rent bikes for a very fair price and they are in excellent condition! Did a very scenic 45km loop on the rented mountain bike. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Shower pressure was very poor on the third floorland air on a bit noisy but overall these are very minor issues. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Very comfortable room with great overlook of rice fields. Breakfast was excellent. Manager was so helpful with drivers, biking, and other logistical planning which made or trip memorable.

Beautiful location, friendly staff - forgot a personal belonging in bus and the owner managed to get it back for us. Great breakfast and rental bikes were great to explore the beautiful surrounds!

Really good location, amazing views from my room and enjoyed an evening stroll through the fields each day. Renting a mountain bike for a day was also great, the owner gave me a perfect route.

Stayed here for 2 nights and are welcomed by the owner Jun! The room was clean with exceptional view of the fields which we really enjoyed. The breakfast served as part of the stay was also good and fresh! I liked that they also offer bikes for rent so you can explore Mai Chau at your own pace

The cafe food and service can be improved as you can wait quite a while for the food

Location de vélos. Le personnel est sympathique et attentionné. En résume excellent homestay avec un très bon rapport qualité prix.

Location and the room

Loved everything about my stay here. The family that run the hotel are some of the nicest I’ve met in Vietnam. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is perfect, location is perfect. It’s on the main road but the rooms are set back so you don’t hear any noise.

Friendly, laid back place, overlooking the fields. The whole area seemed really quiet in mid January. Few tourists and lots of home stays and restaurants seemed closed. This accommodation was straightforward, as described, everything worked without fuss, breakfast was simple and good. Upstairs there is a cafe run by the same family that was great too.

The road is a bit loud but quieter at night and there was no problem for me to sleep!

The owner and his staff were outstanding. We felt very welcome. Room was clean and had all required amenities. Tours and transportation was arranged for us by the owner and all were very good. I would definitely return for another visit.

Everything! We were on the fourth floor, and the view across the rice fields and mountains was fantastic! The room was bright and spacious. The balcony had seating. Our host was very helpful and funny . He booked us a taxi to see the hot springs and floating house. We also enjoyed walks around the rice fields and the villages close by There is a cafe upstairs, the coffee is lovely and the lady who works there is very good at her job, very professional. Accross the road, they have a cafe connected to the hotel, where they sell baked goods, smoothies, excellent Banh Mi's and also have spaguetti and pizza. We ate at the hotel 4 times, 3 times we had meals from their traditional vietnamese menu, and everything was phenomenal, some of the best flavours I've tasted in Vietnam. I particularly liked the lemon grass chicken and the peppered pork. The banana flower salad was definitely the best I've tasted in Vietnam. I also enjoyed the spring rolls. The fish sauce dip was exceptional. I enjoyed pho for breakfast, too, and the poached eggs were excellently made. Thank you for an amazing stay

The owner was really helpful.He drew us a map of where to bike ride,organised a driver for us for day trips and told us where to go and sight see.

We knew the hotel was located on a busy street, so this was not a flaw for us and our room was quiet. The hotel was close to in-town amenities. Some travelers may want a more rural setting, but the convenience of the hotel worked well for us.
