Great breakfast, good location, very clean, lots of restaurants and nice shops, we enjoyed our stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, staff are very friendly, rooms are great and the breakfast is exceptional. We liked the little extras including the lounge with honesty list for drinks//snacks and the opportunity to pre order packed lunch. Will definitely return if staying in Keswick again.

Nice room, comfy bed. Great location in the centre and Keswick. The breakfast was lovely.

Perfect location to explore the Lakes from, a short walk to the bus station, so no need to use the car. It was close enough to the centre of Keswick but in a nice quiet street. Breakfast was fantastic !!

Noise did carry through from the room above, and we were also next to the residents lounge, which if used in the late evening/at night (it was used at the weekend) could disturb your sleep. The noise was considerably less after the weekend though.

Nice breakfast with a choice of fruit, yoghurt, cereals, full English & specials board. Loved the little pots of different jams & marmalade. Comfy bed & pillows, clean rooms. Hot, powerful shower Plenty tea/coffee etc in the room Central location

The hot water for pots of tea at breakfast wasn’t hot enough. Bedroom & bathroom in need of a little tlc. Bedroom light flickering, sometimes coming on, sometimes not. Not a lot of storage in the bedroom but enough for a couple of nights. Roller blind in bathroom wasn’t long enough to cover the window when it was open 😂 Room overlooked a car park & gym but no problems to be fair. No allocated parking.

Breakfast each morning was outstanding in variety, quality and service. Location was very good for walking around Keswick.

Everything! The room was so comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent. The owner and her staff were delightful to speak with and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We will return for sure!

It is good to go with the expectation that you will need to find parking. I had no issue with this as it wasn't my first time in Keswick but it was my partners'.

Close to the venue of the Keswick Convention. Right in the middle of town. Tasty breakfasts. Convenient packed lunches, per request. Clean room. Big shared lounge.

Perfect location! A short walk into town near all of the local things, parking was a bit difficult but was expected. Extremely comfy beds!

It was a little dated for a younger couple like us but fit in perfectly for the location and type of place! It also felt a little eerie at times, but some people would prefer it to be so quiet and less interactions. I told them ahead I was gluten free and they phoned to say they had plenty of options for breakfast, however was disappointed that they wouldn’t do a fresh pan of water for poached eggs

Excellent location, comfortable, clean room. The breakfast was delicious and the staff very attentive. Would definitely recommend to others and stay here again myself.

Breakfast was lovely, we had a fry up every day! Really close to all of the shops and restaurants. The room was adorable with a good view of all the surroundings. The staff were really lovely too. A great stay!

The parking situation with on street parking, we knew about this beforehand so not a negative as such, but we had to park on another road.

The King size bed was so very comfortable. Our room (Bramble) was perfect for us. Quiet, comfortable, clean and perfect. Breakfast offered a great choice. My husband had the full English Breakfast and I had the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. So good!

The breakfast was superb and hearty. The location was perfect. The staff were second to none. And we found it restful and very comfortable .

2nd floor rooms had beams at window and you had to duck or risk banging your head all the time top of wardrobe was at eye level so risked banging your eye on the corners

The staff are incredibly friendly, and the place is beautifully maintained. You can really feel the dedication and care that the owner and team put into this hotel. On top of that, the English brunch I had here was hands down the best I’ve ever tasted!

Staff were really helpful and friendly and made a special effort to cater for my vegan dietary needs. The building is quite centrally located, close to the park and bus stops and not far from town centre/bus station. It is a traditional, slate, Edwardian building and decor is also very traditional. A lovely place to stay. Clean and pleasant,

I don't have anything to add to this 'faults' section. There wasn't anything that was worth mentioning. It's a nice B&B. No problems. I really don't know why I can't leave this space blank.

Consiglierei giusto di cambiare la tavoletta del Wc della stanza Poppy perché era piuttosto instabile. Inoltre, a momenti, usciva un odore poco gradevole dalle tubature del bagno

Parking is on the street, you need to find a space! Fortunately a nearby holiday let wasn't occupied so I parked there.

The Edwardene is situated just a couple of minutes from the centre of Keswick. The hotel has beautiful comfortable rooms that are tastefully decorated. Lucy warmly welcomed us and showed us around before we went to our rooms. Breakfast was incredible and everyone’s dietary needs were met. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The location and the Hosts & their team were spot on! Couldn't do enough for us, less than five minutes walk into Keswick Town centre, the fresh cooked breakfast was excellent, will definitely stay again next time we visit Keswick

We had fresh fruit salad plus full English for breakfast.All great ,lovely poached eggs. Fresh fruit juice .More toast was no problem! Help yourself to tea and coffee . Lovely Staff !!

Maybe a new carpet .Duvet was too heavy ,just for me . I’ve had a sore ankle recently.

The Edwardene is a really fantastic B&B within easy walking distance to the town centre. It is spotlessly clean and the breakfast is fantastic. For the price, we would definitely recommend a stay.

A clean, well-appointed place on a quiet street just outside the centre. Lovely staff and great food. Even have a specials board at breakfast, which is a novelty! Recommended.

On street parking is free but market day can be a nightmare.

This is my second stay with them, and they continue to be a friendly, quality place to stay in Keswick Town.

A beautiful home/hotel, very clean and tidy with friendly staff and owner in residence. Which is getting rare in these days of 'zero interpersonal input' wanted by hotels/staff with guests. Just "give me your £££s money and leave"!🙊 In a very quiet, convenient location too.👍

My single room was adequate, but the sash windows need secondary sealed double glazing in 🍙Winter. My bed headboard was right up to the window and my head and shoulders froze in the night. I had to put a fan heater on the window ledge to keep the icy draught out. The guests beautiful t.v. lounge has the same cold 🌀, draughty old windows too.

Bed could be more comfy. Reception staff not welcoming and it was clear that they were just doing their job which is fine. But for some extra points they could have been a bit friendly.

Very small bedroom . Struggled with space . We had a lot of gear with us as swimming . Felt claustrophobic, and our taller guests we had brought with us just found it a real challenge. Small shower , but nice and hot. Top floor and no lift , but offers to help from staff. Would have liked pastries or muffins with breakfast as many places do that we stay. Same price as some hotels we stay at.

Love this place

This place is absolutely faultless. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Shown around the premises and taken to our rooms by the friendly host. The place is spotless throughout. The rooms are also immaculate and the bed extremely comfortable. There is a lounge with sofas and a honesty bar where you can get a whisky, gin, wine or a beer, tick the sheet and pay on checkout. This a cosy place to sit especially with the Christmas tree up. The breakfast is also amazing, with all the normal choices available plus a few specials. I can bossy this is the best Bed and Breakfast style hotel I have ever stayed in. Superb.
