Provider-sourced guest reviews.
The staff, service, food, ambience - almost picture perfect.
The roads to the property and general parking for non-resident guests need to be improved. Parking for resident guests was covered but the ground finishing needs to be properly done.
breakfast was sumptuous and having wine at breakfast was unaccustomed.
It was all good.
The staff was extremely cooperating and nice. Rooms, location and all facilities were good.
Jacuzzi was not working at all, which was a disappointment as I came with family and wanted my folks to relax.
The location
Rasa continental menu was not very appealing
Everything
Nothing
Great plantation beautiful landscaping, very well maintained surroundings. The staff members at reception are well behaved, helpful & specially Mr. Manohar who assisted us all through our stay with smile 😃
No medical room & doctor on panel for emergencies.
It was a great experience. What impressed me most is the courteous behaviour of staff.
Check in timings need a reset.
The treehouse was amazing so private, loved the big bed and open bathroom ! Views of the vineyards so lovely and super fun to ride abound on the bikes
Outstanding views and greenery. Such fresh air. Good food. Good breakfast.
Wine bar upstairs has too loud music and destroyed the beautiful views. The cleanliness there was bad. Service for lunch is too slow and chaotic. They forget things.
Exceptional property. Must visit. Everything was superb. Room was excellent, food great, wine tour amazing, cycling too.
Fantastic property with a lot to explore and good activities.
The staff were absolutely useless. Heartless i must say and have no idea how to treat guests. They dont even know basic procedures for anything really. Everybody is busy doing whatever they know.
Awesome property.. very peaceful and well maintained. Must do the wine tasting .. very informative and interesting Rooms are spacious
Nothing
The plantation and the wine tasting
Rooms are not upto standard No bathroom mats TV not working due to non payment of cable charges and no effort taken to restore The water was warm and not hot for a bath Hand towels not provided Caught a cockroach at the breakfast counter showed to your staff Room slippers and laundry bag were not available
Breakfast was good. Helpful staff.
Early checkin times, as everyone has to travel from far and at times you get there sooner.
The landscape is good
The service is very slow Also one of the staff at the restaurant was little discourteous to me
Liked the location, the room, cleanliness, the breakfast, vineyard and the tasting restaurant with the view
The all day dining is bad. They serve frozen stuff which tastes bad and not worth the money. The wine tasting experience is bad. Because of the number of people, they rush it and don't provide enough information. Also, they have only 6 wines that we can taste for some reason. It's supposed to be a vineyard place but it feels like a hotel with vineyard. There's no integration between the two experiences. The cycles are in bad condition. The welcome drink was bad and why would you not give welcome wine in a vineyard
Nice for a quick holiday with family and friends, good facilities, food and service
Nothing that comes to mind, just continue with the good service
Amazing location, cordial staff and well maintained property
Beautiful property. Very relaxing. Good facilities. Breakfast spread was good. The room was a good size and was well equipped with everything we needed. Fast Wifi and a stocked wine bar (as one would expect at a vineyard). The free wine tasting was a nice touch. The wine bar in the main building is very pleasant in the evening - with sunset views and a breeze. The sad part was the heat wave all over India when we visited - so we stayed indoors during the middle of the day.
The AC struggled during the middle of the day. Food was a bit hit and miss. The Indian restaurant was pretty good, but everything else was a bit average. The crowds coming to the wine bar and the Sula wine shop were not very well behaved. A lot of instagram chasers who only came to take pics and disrupted normal customers - especially in the Sula Shop - we were trying to shop and these huge loud families were literally pushing us away so they could take pics in the shop. Staff did nothing about that. Lots of badly behaved youth coming to the wine bar taking pics while not buying anything. I even caught two of them trying to take pics of my wife - when I informed the staff, nothing really was done.
Easy check in and check out. Quick room service. Piyushi was helpful with the service. Good food and loved the pool+jacuzzi!
Very beautiful property! It was nice to stroll around the grounds, sit by the pool, and do the tasting. The food at rāsa, especially the kothimbir wadi was good.
The staff’s service could be improved. For example, when I checked in, I had to inquire about the wifi, scheduling the tasting, etc. instead of them informing me about those details. We told housekeeping to come at a time when we would leave the room, and gave them a time frame, yet the room was not cleaned when we got back. After informing them again, they cleaned the room when we went out to dinner. Service at the restaurant on premises was also quite slow, but the tour guide for our tasting did a great job! Overall, if service could be improved, this stay would be a lot better.
Very beautiful place and must visit once
All good , nothing to complain about . Food can be made more cost effective and value for money . No place for drivers to stay there , despite such a big popular property . What do they expect when one is driving from mumbai and has a driver and after reaching after entire days travel , issue of where can driver be accommodated , they need to work on this for travellers .
Location and Greenery
Number of breakfast items were less as compared other renowned hotels in India
The combination of Vintage & Modernness.. The lush green grape vineyards that seemed mesmerizing The restaurants & cuisines were delectable
Breakfast was great! Good spread!!
The Arata toileteries are eco-friendly but not suitable for all. Can explore different vendor
Property is excellent. The overall weather would get you stacked.
The entire experience was memorable
Need to have the room numbers for the tree house more visible
a genuine vineyard experience in style and comfort.
wine tasting could have been longer with more information about wine making
Atmosphere
Not worth to money they charge
Warm and friendly staff, very good location and set up, very well planned for country living feel
Curtains need to be changed, they are in tattered state. Need to upgrade with quality of room slippers offered by the Source. Very poorly maintained swimming pool and open jacuzzi, they should have strict rules with regards to swim costume wear and cap in place, it's a sorry state of affairs to visualise everyone immersed in the pool with their clothes on.
The lush greenery and landscaping was excellent. The solar paneling on the roofs and pesticide free vineyard was impressive. It was nice to hear subtle assorted & retro music throughout the area on speakers for the vibe Breakfast & games room were good
Many guests were entering the swimming pool with their regular clothes on as-is. There should be a decorum and rule enforced for swimming wear to be worn for hygiene and int. quality standard. As a result - I did not use the pool. The booking.com site said 10% off on spa, but I learnt at the property after using the services that was available only for select treatments. This should have been highlighted clearly upfront to not be misled.
We have been to this property couple of times but this time staff wasn’t that efficient. The WiFi wasn’t working most of the time, ACs were not maintained, the front reception lady forgot to charge our bills we reminded her about our purchases. Food was average.
Good food
Rooms , not much to do in summers
Beautiful property, peaceful vibe, and decent food.
Could improve on guest privacy and coordination- Service felt a bit lacking compared to similar stays, room lacked privacy (so sitting at the balcony was pointless with constant vehicles movements), room service options were limited, and being disturbed multiple times despite a late check-out. There was a festival happening so being warned about that orior to booking would've been nice because there was fit out work going on.
The breakfast was good but started later than 7.30am as advertised
The service was not good. Always had to ask twice. When we were at the pool we asked for drinks 3 times and only after I went to complain at reception did, we finally get our drinks. Also, the hotel bar should serve beer as it is not the winery. I understand that there is no beer served at the winery because it is a way to promote Sula wines. Next time we will stay at a hotel nearby that has a full bar. The Aircon in our rooms were very noisy! Water in the rooms should be in sealed water bottles. Should also have Coke in the refrigerator of have a vending machine somewhere
The natural beauty
Poor cab connection
Coming from Mumbai we liked the greenery and that there were restaurants at the premises. We loved the jacuzzi although it was dirty. Also went for an amazing massage.
The pool and jacuzzi were dirty.
It was so peaceful and beautiful. I loved staying on the property and watching all the peacocks and birds. The stars were incredible. I loved wandering through the vineyards, biking around, and spending time at the pool. It was an oasis amidst the vines.
I was kicked off the internet often, which was a pain.
Staying at Sula was great experience. We had a really big room with beautiful garden. Restaurant La Bodegga had nice Indian food. Breakfast ok.
Staff at breakfast were quite chaotic, tables were not too clean.
Very cool
Excellent rooms and location
Dining experience
A really nice place to stay - location food pool all good and an interesting wine tour and tasting
Nothing
Everything was good!!
More items of fish in food menu.
Breakfast spread was good. It met our expectations.
View from the room was not good. It was just bushes & jungle. Tariiff paid for the rooms was not comensurate with the location of the rooms.
Ambiance and weather
Nothing to dislike
