Stayed here for almost a week. In that time I couldn't go out and had to go to the hospital every day, so I spent the rest of the day at the Sandy House. I loved it, it felt very comfortable. The people are very friendly, the room gets cleaned everyday. A few steps further is a laundry shop and a small shop, where you can get cool drinks and snacks. Its in a quiet street and still very close to the Rawai Beach. When I get back to Rawai, I will definitely stay here again!

Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und die Ausstattung (Kühlschrank, Safe, Möbel etc.)war top. Am letzten Tag haben wir uns 2 Fahrräder kostenlos ausgeliehen - das war absolut super! Auch hat es uns gefreut, dass die freilaufende Katze uns regelmäßig begrüßt hat.

A peaceful green oasis away from noisy, traffic-choked roads of Rawai. We really enjoyed our assigned room with two windows facing beautiful green plants - it was not large, but very comfortable and well desined. The bed was super large and very comfortable for sleeping, bed sheets were crispy clean, an additional cushy comfy chair was provided for sitting near the window (a rare special touch). AC and WiFi worked perfectly, and TV had several English speaking news channels. A safety deposit box was installed in the room, and provided instructions were clear. Cozy sitting area outside the room was available to enjoy a meal or a cup of cofee in the afternoon; as well as each room-asgined drying rack for clothes (handy for the beach activities). Complimentarily coffee/tea packets along with hot water were available for self-service any time in the breakfast area (along with cups and dishes). Lots of details were well thought over to make the stay more pleasant. A special Thank You to the employee lady Sai (sorry if I misspelled the name) for her beautiful smile and making us feel welcome.

--It would have been nice to have a few more shelves (or drawers) to store things in a more organized manner. --We were pressured by the Front Desk young lady into frequent and unnecessary room cleaning and wasteful towel changing - why do we need four fresh towels and three new bed sheets every day or every other day if we stay here only for 5 days in total? It totally contradicted our environmental views, and we felt like our prefences were not respected. --While we appreciate 2 complimentarily large water bottles every day, this was not necessarily (and we refused to use them) - so much plastic waste and pollution is being generated by guests on the daily basis! Why not offer a simple water dispenser instead, and save all this unessary plastic bottle waste?

Рядом живёт довольно милый толстый кот До пляжей далековато, автобусы ходят редко. Рядом есть вкуснейшие кафешки за хорошую цену Готовьтесь к обилию живности в виде муравьишек

We felt comfortable. A simple hotel, but neat. Don't expect a VIP room for this price. The room has everything you need, it's a bit old, but that didn't bother us. There are lots of beautiful cats on the grounds. Breakfast is not included, but toast and watermelon are included in the price. Coffee and tea are always available. You can rent a bike right away or order one.

Unser Aufenthalt im Sandy House war perfekt. Die Familie die das Hotel führt und das Personal sind wirklich super lieb; wir konnten kostenlos Räder ausborgen, als es geregnet hat lagen Schirme vor der Tür, es gibt ein kleines Frühstück und man bekommt auch Strand Tücher oder Matten. Es gibt auch sehr süße Katzen. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und die Dusche auch super (guter Wasserdruck und heißes Wasser). Wir würden immer wieder hier her kommen.

Habitaciones muy cómodas, siempre dejan aguas y cambias las toallas y sábanas. El desayuno gratuito se agradece y es lo suficientemente completo para comenzar el día. Todo el personal muy amable y atento

I always like to return to Sandy House. It's a family atmosphere, privacy and good location to go to Nai Harn beach, that always make me return here.

King sized bed, they provided toilet paper and water bottles every day, it was easy to get Grabs to go other places, there were a lot of restaurants within walking distance as well as convenience stores, they had umbrellas for you to use, and while I didn’t necessarily agree with having the cats locked up 24/7 in the cattery, they have 11 super cute and sweet Maine coon cats that they let you hold and play with.

The AC was not that powerful and took awhile to get cool but it did technically work.

Guest house in a quiet location and close to rawai beach. Very friendly and always available staff. The rooms are not large but the bed is very comfortable. If you are looking for a family and quiet environment, Sandy House is the right place.

Very nice location - 5 minutes to the main street. A lot of vegetation & plants, it gives a nice vibe. The breakfast was a nice surprise - not much (some toasts, butter, jam, fruits, orange juice, tea/coffee) but enough to start the day. Comfortable beds, room was clean.

Room not available on arrival. Had to book into another hotel for the night. Asked to be reimbursed for the charge at the other hotel. Manager refused and was totally uncompromising,.No customer skills whatever.

Great location just off rawai beach and near a 7/11, room was cleaned daily and staff were so helpful with any questions we had

Price. Great bed, room darkening curtains, room was great. Little mold in the shower but everything else was spotless. Good shower. Hot water. Has beach supplies to use. Nice sitting area outside of room.

I am older and found the stairs difficult to climb especially with bags. Only one flight but no one offers to help with bags. If you have difficulty ask for a ground floor when booking.

I liked the hotel, the free basic breakfast included was okay. Really liked the bicycle rental, although one bike had dodgy brakes and when I reported it I didn't necessarily get the feeling they were going to fix it and take it seriously!

A block off main beach rd. It was peaceful and rd was well lit. Everything worked including Air Con. Minimum breakfast of toast and fruit included. A little extra for eggs and such. Bed is a little hard, but pillows nice. Owner will set you up with tours if you want. This was a good stop that was busy with cleaning staff. Beach towels available for free. Cable channels with a little English news channels.

No real issues to report for an older compound. If bathroom smells, pour some water down drain under sink. Didn't have problems afterwards.

Good value for money. It's a rather laid back place, you have your room and the dining area which has some coffee and tea making facilities. They are happy to rent a motorbike for a fairly reasonable price. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's located very close to the Rawaii beach/pier. There is a cheap bus (100 TBH at the time of writing) from the airport to the beach which is about a 10 min walk to the guest house. Overall it was clean and tidy, the wifi was fine, staff friendly and helpful and the location is close enough. I don't have anything to complain about except for the weather which was raining but that's on the big guy upstairs.

A lot of accommodations do this, but it's still something that I don't like. That is cleaning the room without asking permission first. I spoke to the lady at the front desk about it and didn't have that issue again so really it was fine.

I review this place already. See my other review I guess but in summary it was nice and tidy, lived up to expectations, was close to the beach and bus to airport, little dining area to make coffee and eat, friendly staff. Good value for money. Also you can rent a motorbike here too.

There wasn't anything to complain about. One little issue if i had to have an issue was that the staff (like most accommodations these days) clean your room without asking permission. However I spoke to the receptionist and she sorted it out and didn't have that issue again. So no complaint really.

I loved the vibe at Sandy House. It had a very good location in Rawai Beach. Clean rooms with both hot and cold water in the shower. 2 bottles of free water everyday. 🙏 see you again

Exceptional value for money.... Perfect in every way. Highly recommend short or long stay.

I love everything here, it was wonderful experience, friendly owner and staffs, hotel near beach, near market, near supermarket near View point and hotel provide free bicycles❤️❤️❤️or you can rent motorcycle near hotel with good price ^^ hotel has big kitchen and many tables for eating food, and work space, and really fast internet ❤️❤️❤️❤️and have 7 beautiful cats with friendly^^

Stayed at Sandy house for the 4th time now. I love everything here - the clean and comfortable rooms, the nice and helpful staff and of course the green garden that’s almost like a small jungle.

No pool. Outdated room fittings. Bathroom fittings need repair. Mould in between will tiles in bathroom, not clean. Floor tiles loose in room.

B/F was help yourself. Toast, tea or coffee. Tea/coffee was available all the time in reception. I did not order b/f on this visit as like most hotels they tend to be little expensive for what you get

No garden or area to lay on any beds to relax and catch the sun. There is a veranda near most rooms but no good for relaxing.

Good location, close to the main road of Rawai beach, but very quiet. Perfect room for me as I was juat training at AKA and needed a bed. Room was small, and not much natural light, but this meant the room stayed cool which, even with aircon, is a big plus. Staff were very friendly, and they're 2 cats were the best cats in Thailand! Good parking also.

Very Nice stay with a lovely staff, they also helped us finding transport in rawai on our first day, which were a Tuk tuk service by the man called Mr A, who we ended up becoming good friends with and he gave us a very special tour around all Phuket. Both Sandy house and Mr. A and his wife surprised us with a birthday cake to my little sister on her birthday. This stay was so special, and we definitely recommend you using Mr A and maybe get a sightseeing tour with him. These are the warmest people❤️
