Deepcut Lodge Bed & Breakfast Self Service

It was close to where we were visiting

Door was hard to close whilst leaving room. We were woken early in the morning due to doors being slammed to shut them. It was expensive for what we had compared to other hotels we have stayed in.

Comfortable room, large kitchen with choice of breakfast options. Staff were quick to resolve a minor problem with no fuss.

Limited parking, but this was a known issue.

Very secluded and quiet, recently repainted, tidy and clean! The owner kindly set up an extra bed and was very accommodating.

There was a little problem with the shower, but nothing serious.

Just as advertised. Would stay again and nothing to complain about.

Continental breakfast supplies a little lacking, but edible.

The room was cosy and clean.

Due to the hot weather at the time the fan in the room was inadequate as it did not provide any cooling effect at all even on a higher speed. I believe the same applied to other adjacent rooms as they ended up leaving their front doors wide open. The lack of any windows did not allow any fresh air into the room. Either a better fan or other cooling means would help. Willing to pay a bit extra if necessary.

Bed was comfortable, it’s in a good location for me.

Shower isn’t that good, needs a new head. Floor was dirty, I had a shower and walked around the bedroom when getting dressed and my feet were filthy. Kettle needs descaled, made a tea and there was lots or limescale/scum floating on top. I also don’t like that there is only 2 parking spaces, there’s a carpark on the corner but you have to pay to use it and I had lots of difficulties trying to pay for it!

Amazing, lovely and clean and we loved the set up of letting yourself in and the continental style self serve breakfast.

I had a superb few days staying at Deepcut Lodge, superb facilities at a great price point, really impressive, will be staying again.

There was nothing to dislike about the lodge ideal for what we needed location was great comfortable but was hot but heat was due to the weather great value for money would this was my second stay and would recommend it to everybody

Everything room is nice and clean and the location is brilliant nice places just down the road for a walk in a nice wooded area will definitely stay again

Simple and comfortable

The bedroom floor could have been cleaner. After walking out the shower, my feet were quickly dirty again after walking across the floor.

Breakfast room was a lovely touch. In a convenient area for visiting family Quiet Lots of facilities provided for self service in the kitchen

Shower wall tiles had black mould on grouting so not fully cleaned Shower head was not very good Mirror was not directly over the sink in bathroom Bedding and towels had a damp smell although dry so didn't smell fresh. Only 2 parking spaces on drive

Die Unterkunft war zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Alle Beschreibungen stimmten. Das Frühstück bietet sowohl einige Cereals, Fruchtsäfte und diverse Marmelade zu Toastbrot.

Der für uns größte Minuspunkt war, das die Bettwäsche extrem nach Weichspüler roch. Wir selbst verwenden nie welchen und mögen diese aufdringlichen Gerüche nicht. Ich selbst reagiere auch darauf, als Allergiker. Zum Glück nicht zu stark.

Location of the property was perfect for me, central to where I needed to be.

The room is clean and the bed is comfy, however may need a lick of paint as there’s a huge crack from ceiling to floor in the corner of the room. I stayed there last year and knew the parking was limited to two spots in front of the building but knew there was a big car park in walking distance. However, there is not a charge to use that car park. I also didn’t like that I had to go to the communal kitchen to get milk to have a drink in your room. Tea, coffee and sugar supplied in canisters in the room, not single packets, which I also didn’t like. I don’t know what teabags they use but they weren’t for me…I’d suggest taking your own. Shower head also needs changed or descaled and the shower didn’t drain when in use. There’s a small note asking you not to bang the door which is understandable and it’s easy to do when inside the room as the handle is a proper handle, on the outside it’s a tiny little knob that’s very close to the door frame that you can only grab with fingertips and you have to pull really hard and bang the door for it to close.

Not recommended for light sleepers due to the noise of the road

Lovely lodge / room. Airy room with sky light. Soft bedding and comfy bed. good shower and nice self service brekki. Parking for two cars at front and car park a minute down the road. Good instructions from host. Easy to find and get in. Milano Italian 3 minute walk away for eat in or take out. Cafe too but we didn’t try that.

Tv didn’t work very well initially ? Internet kept dropping out too but seemed to settle down after an hour.

Clean spacious room, lots of parking 30-second walk if no space outside. VERY comfy beds, good tea coffee in the room. By a main road but didn't even notice. Get guest info for guests, WiFi strong and reliable. Definitely stay again

One tiny thibg to make it better... is a fridge or some kind of uht milk for the room. The shared kitchen is great with all you need. But, If you didn't want to leave the room this would be a great option.

We had a twin room, the beds were very clean and comfortable. Lovely hot shower, good value for money. Would recommend. Breakfast was self service, very clean kitchen, staff very helpful and the host was very nice. Overall very good 😊

Maybe lack of windows but there was a skylight which gave a lot of light.

This property was beautiful, clean, modern,and for a good price. Somebody has worked very hard to tick all the boxes to make this a really great place to stay I travel a lot and it is hard to find good accommodation but this is one that I would recommend and believe me I've stayed in really dodgy ones parking is great and easily accessed so overall well done guys.

Spacious, clean room with en-suite wet room (the shower was excellent) in a convenient location for Bisley where my day was shooting. The self-service kitchen was great with a good choice of drinks and snacks.

I was sent email massages, but was not in a position to receive them, so was forced to telephone in order to gain access to the room. The kettle in the room was unusable as it was filthy inside, despite washing it out several times. So, my partner was unable to have a cup of tea.

Friendly staff who made the room available an hour earlier than the normal check in time as we had requested. The room was clean and tidy.

We reported that the TV was not fully working - no channels on the BBC wave length were available. Hubby rebooted TV channels but still didnt work. This was not fixed during our stay. The only window in the bedroom was a ceiling velux which did not open. This meant that there is no fresh air into the bedroom unless the toilet door is left open! This was ok for one night. Breakfast is continental and really basic.

Convenience. Simple and efficient short stay and self-service.

Room was too hot - no air conditioning

Very tidy, comfy bed (with a fan which was appreciated during this heatwave). Good shower. Great communication from hosts.

I have stopped here previous with you .... hence I booked again this time, However I was in room 2, This time there was so much noise coming from the room to my left (Room 1) with constant loud banging of doors, multiple times - Hence incredibly loud & noisy with NO consideration for others stopping or trying to sleep in the same block, This occurred late pm 10.30pm, & then early 6am, Many Thanks Mr D Kennett

Really nice B&B - communal kitchen / diner with use of all appliances. Comfortable room & spacious bathroom. All round lovely stay.

Room was actually nicer than on the photos, with very clean bathroom, which seemed as if it was recently renovated. Very good communication with staff. Possibility to store luggage very much appreciated. Tea and coffee in the room, nice kitchen

I would add more storage space in the room - even a shelf on the wall would make a difference as there wasn’t much place to put things away

The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable with a nice bathroom. A continental breakfast was available on site. The owners were very helpful in suggesting a convenient place to keep my bike overnight.

The only window in the bedroom was a skylight. Not a big deal however.

Easy to check in and the bathroom was great.

Quiet place to maximise rest.

The self service in the kitchen suited us so we could eat when we were ready. Beds were comfortable. Self check in meant less stress of having to arrive by a particular time.

The ground floor room only had a skylight window so felt very enclosed although was very comfortable.

Good overall

No staff. Deepcut Lodge is advertised as b n b, with continental breakfast included. The words false advertising springs to mind. Self-catering would be a more accurate or make and serve your own breakfast even better. Towels were scratchy, small amount of mould on bathroom tiles. Velux window blind??....light streaming through, so up and wide awake by 6.30. Went to fill kettle.....mmmmm. mould spores actually in the pouring filter. Won't be visiting again
