YangShuo Coco Garden Villa-Western food&English Guide

Nota: abbiamo utilizzato l hotel per una sola notte per un cambio di programma improvviso. Ci ha colpito peró la gentilezza e la disponibilità dello staff, la piscina (non bella ma fa il suo lavoro) e la stanza vista campagna veramente incantevole.

Per mettere in guardia futuri avventori, deve piacervi la campagna, la natura e le cose un po’ spartane

Séjour fantastique à Yangshuo ! Le personnel était incroyablement accueillant et toujours aux petits soins. Je recommande vivement cet endroit. Merci pour ces merveilleux souvenirs.

Bella posizione per tutte le attività lungo lo Yulong River! Staff molto disponibile! Camera con balcone al primo piano molto grande e pulita! Fanno scegliere Fra, colazione cinese e colazione occidentale, noi abbiamo scelto quella cinese, molto golosa e varia tutte le mattine, preparata al momento, non a Buffet!

La zona della piscina è molto trascurata!

La posizione in un paesino poco fuori dalla troppo caotica Yangshuo, la camera ampia e pulita, il fatto di avere la piscina e lo staff super super super gentile e disponibile per tutto

El personal de recepción muy atentos y amables. Siempre contestaban oportunamente por WeChat. Usamos el servicio de lavandería y todo muy bien. La habitación estaba cómoda y limpia.

Erg fijn om je in alle rust te kunnen terugtrekken in dit klein en gemoedelijk hotel. Fantastisch om een elektrische scooter te huren en lekker te verdwalen in de rijstvelden en naar de stad te rijden.

Iets meer aandacht geven aan het zwembad want daar zit potentie in om meer dan alleen een verkoelende plons te nemen.

A wonderful experience! The staff were extremely friendly and spoke English very well, making communication easy. They kindly took the time to explain how to get around the area and gave us helpful recommendations. Another great advantage is that they also offer Western cuisine, making it a perfect choice for international visitors. Highly recommended!

L'equip sempre ha estat molt amable per ajudar-nos en tot el que hem necessitat pel nostre viatge. La nostra habitació tenia molt bones vistes, era gran i molt confortable. L'esmorzar era molt bo, variat i diferent cada dia. L'hotel té motos elèctriques per llogar i està al costat del carril bici del costat del riu Yulong i molt a la vora per anar a fer el Ràfting de Bambú. Hem passat uns dies tranquils en aquest entorn tan agradable envoltats de camps d'arròs,, estanys amb lotus i cafeteries rurals molt boniques a la vora de l'hotel.

Tot estava perfecte.

前台会说英文，给了很多游玩建议，带着去租赁自行车还有详细的地图。酒店的餐厅有西餐提供，早餐也很丰富。有一只非常可爱喜欢贴近你的小猫，虽然它经常在睡觉。

环境很好，室外有个泳池拍照很漂亮。酒店就在遇龙河边上，早上醒来抬头便是美景。老板也很热情，房间干净卫生。下次来阳朔还来！

Yangshuo is truly beautiful and stunning. I really like the hotel — the staff are very friendly, helping us plan our routes, recommending places to visit, and even assisting with ticket purchases. The front desk can communicate in English, which is a big plus. The breakfast and afternoon tea are great, and I felt especially relaxed and at ease here. If I come back next time, I’d like to stay longer and slowly enjoy everything this place has to offer.

De vrouwelijke manager sprak Engels en heeft ons opgehaald van het station. Personeel was heel erg vriendelijk en hebben ons fijn geholpen met het kopen van tickets voor activiteiten rondom Yangshou. Scooter verhuur was mogelijk bij het hotel, ideaal om rond te Touren in en rondom Yangshou. Een auto is hier minder handig. Hele leuke tijd gehad en goed verzocht met ontbijt en lekkere koffie!

Fijne kamers met airco en een bad met mooi uitzicht. Het bad was erg fijn en het bed lag heerlijk!

The room was large and clean, and had a nice view - though it is advertised as "with a garden", but it's just a plain balcony. Good location close to the river.

It seemed the staff was tired and not very keen on meeting our needs or helping out, and they had a pretty lousy attitude. On the second morning of our stay we both got bad food poisoning (!!!!) from breakfast, and were sick in bed for the rest of the day and the day that followed. We later noticed mold in the chillis they offer with breakfast..... The pool, which I was very looking forward to, was too dirty to be used comfortably. The morning before our last we handed our laundry to be washed, a paid service they offer. We were met with bad excuses as to why the laundry was not done by late that evening. They promised that it would be delivered to our room by 8 am the next day, it was not. At around 10 am (on the day of check out!) we received a basket full of wet clothing with an excuse that there was too much clothing to dry, and then that the dryer had broken down "last night". Eventually the staff member took the wet clothes to a neighbouring hotel and used their dryer, and they let us check out late. All of it was done with a "doing us a favor" attitude, although it was a paid service. All in all very disappointing, and in the most expensive hotel of our whole trip! I would definitely not stay there again and would not recommend it to anyone.

El desayuno era completo, con fruta, noodle y huevo duro, pero para un occidental regular, solo ponían Leche, el café lo pedimos a parte y lo cobraban caro. Las tostadas sin tostar, pero con mantequilla y mermelada.

Todo fue muy bien, el sitio espectacular, personal muy amable y camas cómodas. Por poner una pega, el secador de pelo no funcionaba.

De accomodaties is echt thuiskomen. Alles is mooi en zeer netjes. Het personeel heel erg vriendelijk en super behulpzaam. Het dorpje is klein en wat ons betreft erg prettig tov het overweldigende Yangzhou.

We enjoyed our interactions with the staff using their English and our translation apps, it worked fine. The location of this hotel is fantastic, it's so peaceful and right on the main walking/biking path. It's a $2USD DiDi ride to/from West St in the main town. The daily breakfast was varied and really good each of our 5 days. The toiletries in the room were very nice quality and we loved having a smart toilet. It's not the newest hotel in the area and is showing its age a bit, but this does give it some charm compared to all of the other properties that are just cookie cutter buildings.

Some drawbacks: Pool was not clean to be able to use. It would be nice if coffee/tea was included with breakfast. Should provide a small fridge in the room.

Room faced the karsts/mountains and was fabulous to sit on the sofa with a cup of tea made in my room. Staff were young and friendly and super helpful although the translation apps don't work so well and hard to communicate but always got it figured out. Outside the hotel are the most magnificent pathways for walking or bikes which I rented a bike everyday and headed off to the next village along the river. Glorious place to stay. Town is a half block away for a few restaurants but the bigger town for West Street is packed with international places for comfort food and souvenirs so take a Didi for $1.00 and go there for your meals. Ran Coffee Cafe was the best for a fresh tuna salad and mango smoothie. Breakfast was some fun pancakes, eggs and fresh fruit and served always slow but very tasty. A few menu items available all the time like smoothies, desserts. I would never ever stay in the bigger city of Yangshuo when you can experience the local life and countryside on a sunrise walk or bike ride. I caught farmers plowing with their cattle, or working their crops of rice on a daily basis. Just an incredible place to stay.

So much was so good that I can't think of a thing to change.

Staff was friendly and helpful! Giving good recommendations on where to eat locally. We got the western breakfast everyday which would always include an egg and toast and either some fruit or a small salad. I recommend if you want a view of the field to book the second floor.

After endless adventures around China, we finally landed in this corner of paradise surrounded by greenery. We arrived in Yangshou by boat along the Lì river, from the city center a comfortable taxi took us to the structure in about 15 minutes. The welcome from a young boy was very cordial, he accompanied us to a beautiful room with a breathtaking view of the hills also offering us a plate of fresh fruit. The cleanliness and comfort of the room was excellent. Spacious, bright and with a large and very comfortable bed. A few steps away on foot you could reach the river and walk along the long path that runs along it or rent an electric scooter for a few Yuan for the whole day. I had breakfast included and it was really tasty. In addition, the girl I later met named Tan, very kind and hospitable and who speaks English very well, recommended a restaurant that can be reached in a few minutes on foot and that was truly exquisite. In the surrounding area there are also small markets and many restaurants. During the stay, which lasted too little, Tan was very helpful. She accompanied us in the morning to buy fruit and vegetables at the local market and then cooked dinner together preparing delicious typical dishes. On the last day she also offered to accompany us to the train station which was 50 minutes away by car also suggesting that we go see the nearby village called Xingping. In short I don't know what else to add. It was my best stay I had in China. I highly recommend going to explore this part of China and meet these fabulous people in this very welcoming structure.

Very friendly staff and good Chinese breakfast. They also rent E-scooters. Room was spacious and the view with the mountains was nice. Overall a good choice to stay at for your trip to Yangshuo.

The room we stayed at needed a few minor repairs for a perfect experience.

Friendliest hotel staff I have ever experienced. When there was a problem with the room on the last night, they gave us a free room. Excellent location outside the busy and noisy city of Yangshuo, ideal spot to explore Yulong River and the villages in either direction. You can rent an e-scooter/bike from the property for a very good price.
