Holiday Inn Express & Suites Allen Park by IHG

The breakfast was pretty good, room was clean

The whole reason I booked it here was for my kids to use the swimming pool, nothing on the website said the pool was closed for maintenance on a Friday starting labor day wknd. Completely ruined the stay, my kids were so upset, management said " sorry, nothing we can do"

It was very good,exerlent

Breakfast

Nice, spacious, clean room with fridge and microwave. Pool and gym. Breakfast is excellent, large selection, delicious food.

Surprisingly, the elevator floors were sticky.

A reggeli jó volt, volt meleg étel is.

Késő este érkeztünk. A szobában több helyen hajat találtunk. A családom este megnézte a medencét, hasonló állapotokról számoltak be.

The cleanliness

None of the rooms have Handheld showers more options for breakfast

Excelente hotel. Muy bien ubicado. Tranquilo. El desayuno genial

Very clean

None

Broken doors and blinds. Bed uncomfortable. Staff on front desk not very friendly at check in

The property and people were nice

The floors and the bathroom was not clean.

I had biscuits and gravy and scrambled eggs. It was deilicious!

We enjoyed the breakfast, pool and overall cleanliness of the hotel! The staff was also very helpful and friendly. My son lost his goggles on the elevator one of the days we were there and we didn't realize it until the next day. I went to the front desk to check the lost and found and the woman working knew right away that she had them! I would highly recommend.

The pool was cold for being inside and the chlorine was very strong. But we enjoyed it otherwise!

Location

Long time for check in

The hotel was easy to get in and out of.

The pool area needs better ventilation.

The hotel's location was excellent, with a very clean environment and a pleasant aroma. Check-in was efficient, and the staff were friendly. The mattress was extremely comfortable, and I greatly appreciated the blackout shades.

During my stay, the ice machine on my floor was unavailable for the last two days. Also, the sliding glass doors on the shower were quite hard to open and close.

I had a wonderful stay. The room was extremely neat, tidy, and well-organized, which made the stay very comfortable. The breakfast buffet offered good variety and quality. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay, and the staff were friendly and helpful. One area that could be improved is the response time for maintenance requests. Our bathroom sink was draining very slowly, and after we informed the front desk, it took about three hours for someone from the maintenance team to come and resolve the issue. Having maintenance staff available to respond more quickly would make the guest experience even better.

Cleanliness, location.

The location was close to our destination. The breakfast was very good and our room and the common areas were clean.

I wish the lighting in the bathroom would have been brighter. It was VERY dim.

Great breakfast (full egg & egg white options. Low fat dairy options. Great beds, pillows. Clean. Blackout shades. Dove products. 2 fast elevators

Coffee stunk.

Housekeeping was great as was the front desk.

The room was clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Free parking. Good variety for breakfast. We had a very good experience.

Everything was great!

Location was good. It was easy to get to and from. Staff was very nice.

Pancake maker was broken. Screen for thermostat was broken so we had to use the window control. Seemed to constantly get hot. Found ants on the nightstand and some pills on the floor. First night went to the pool and the people in it were extremely loud and rowdy. They could be heard through 2 doors. Scared our little one so we left. Was not prepared for the $100/room deposit.

Everyone was helpful as i booked a room at a different hotel for the wrong weekend. Holiday helped me secure a room for a better price and the facility was amazing.

Guests above us were loud and pounding around all night until 3am.

A relatively new hotel located near the highway. It is very conveniently located for those of us wishing to visit the Henry Ford Museum and Village. The staff was extremely nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel to those visiting the area.

Clean and a/c working ,big room, comfortable bed

The sink in the bathroom was clogged and the water drained poorly.

clean. good breakfast!

assigned me a room already with guest!

The lobby is nice and clean, Breakfast was good Room was good could have been a little cleaner

I didnt get the room I paid for. I needed a walk in shower and paid for that and called and confirmed 2 times and didnt get that. I was given a hearing impaired room that was of no use to me. The beds were to high for me to get in and out of. The toilet didnt want to flush right at first but did end up working vut made a loud screaming noise every time it flushed. The tub wouldn't drain, and we couldn't get the temp in the room comfortable. it was either freezing or over heated. I felt like the desk clerk could have been more friendly and not lied to me about not having rooms that I requested and PAID for. I have stayed there before and had the rooms I was in need of

It was clean, breakfast option was good and delicious

The free breakfast was very good thank you

The men lobby was a little under construction

Very clean rooms. Pool was the right temp!

Nothing!

Nice and clean

breakfast was good

pool was to cold to use

Location. Comfortable bed

No bathtub Table top in room was crooked. Couldn’t use it. Could have used more towels right in the room

We were traveling for a funeral. The room was very nice for us and our nanny who traveled with us to help. We had a newborn and everything was great. Breakfast was absolutely amazing! So many options. That was my favorite part for sure.

I can't say there was anything bad! It was a really great stay. Everything was as advertised.

It was clean and I liked the location.

The bed. Just too tough.

The room was very clean and comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful it was all over a great stay

It would be nice if they had a hot tub, and the wifi wasn't the best

The Staff was kind, professional and timely, ALL OF THEM.

I had a problem curtain that someone let down to far and I couldn't get it to work.

Good customer service

Everything was fine

Easy check-in with friendly knowledgeable staff.

The pool was amazing and warm my daughter had a blast for her pool party

Very clean and smelled so good

Clean

Shower water was just like warm.

Very nice very comfortable

Location clean food

It was ok. Maybe it could be open longer. There were disappointed people arrived to the breakfast room and found it closed.

The room was very hot and it made it difficult to get comfortable. The heater controls seemed to be broken . I had asked strangers in the hallway if their experience in there room was the same, they said yes, too hot! Some were leaving their door open. We did not feel safe to leave the door open. Also, the TV controller would not work.

Close to everything I need

Nothing

The location was good as I booked this hotel for a business trip.

The A/C was having a quite a bit of a noise which was disturbing. The A/C was too old and there was heavy dust all over the place in the A/C.

Hotel was very clean. Met the manager, she was super friendly. Kids had a fun time in the pool. Room temperature can be adjusted to your liking.

The pool was cold and a lot of chlorine.

The little upgrade in appearance inside is gorgeous, clean, all around great.

Well with the use of our black light there were areas that should have been tended to a little better. Maybe they oughta clean with one 😉
